What’s life without it says Gucci ❤️ That’s the kind of eye sparkle I live for. Look at those eyes ❤️ My afternoon was all for Gucci. Today a true unconditional human and dog relationship formed between us. Gucci craved my guidance today and I gave it all to him. Took it all in beautifully. I just showed him different ways to build his true confidence. It was building today like a skyscraper no lie. As humans go through life we can always shout out life isn’t fair! Gucci didn’t sit and complain to me how life isn’t fair or cry about it. He just picked that big delicious head up and licked me! Wow just wow. It humbles me greatly, when I think about how powerfuli a dog’s soul is. Just to live, no matter what life throws them. Never to feel sorry for themselves. This is Gucci, a dog no matter what life gives him, will never give up on a moment of happiness . Please share his pictures and videos of today. A young boy who needs the chance just to be who he really is like today. Shelter evaluation: This 2 year old American Bulldog mix is Gucci. Gucci is strong on lead, eager to explore. He sat on command for a treat, which he accepted softly from our fingers. Gucci had no issues sharing both his toys and bone whenever asked. He wasn't interested in eating during his evaluation, but we saw no tension while at the food bowl. Gucci will need to be the only pet in the household as he was not comfortable with the dogs he met outside. So, remember that thing we said about how rabbits purchased at Easter time are usually abandoned shortly after the novelty wears off? Well, Easter was just over two months ago, and here is the sad reality of why we try to spread the message of not purchasing rabbits as Easter gifts. Six of these rabbits are waiting for rescue at Hamilton Animal Control. The other two are in a high-volume shelter in Quebec waiting for rescue...all of which we have been asked to try to help. These are just a few of the hundreds of stray/abandoned/surrendered rabbits in shelters all over Southern Ontario and beyond right now. It really sucks that this happens year after year, but we're gonna keep spreading the message, and hopefully you will too... But, what can you do to help right now, you ask? Become a Ladybird foster home! We need your help to get these bunnies out of the shelters and into safety.
