I could not find this track anywhere online, it's not one of the songs that has a CD release, and the source file in the game is not tagged with any name or info and is just titled "msys15.ogg" - but it's one of the most memorable tracks from the early episodes of Higurashi, so I'm posting it.

The Higurashi reboot/sequel anime from 2020 backfired in the weirdest way on me bc they got so many of the characters wrong enough that it activated an absolutely unstoppable rage and forced me to re read all the manga and visual novels. 

Great news: The vn’s have way less typos than they did 10 years ago (and the 07th mod would’ve made 14 year old me cryyyy tears of jooyyy, who am I kidding I am crying regardless!) 

But also augh way to miss like the entire point of Higurashi remake people :(( the art looks great and the music slaps and what have you done to my daughters!!

Hello everyone! \o/ Since it's April 1st in most parts of the world, I thought I'd share these cute fake screenshots of my yandere yuri VN, It gets so lonely here, which were created to mimic the art/presentation style of Umineko by Gud91_ on Twitter! Umineko was the first VN I ever read, and it's still my favourite. It has a very special place in my heart, and it's the reason why I became a VN dev myself. I never would've heard about VNs at all if it wasn't for Umineko, and I owe it a lot! As such, I thought it'd be fun to see two of the characters from one of my own VNs drawn in Ryukishi07's iconic style, so I can share them with people! I think the princess and the gravedigger look very cute! Aren't they adorable? ❤️

While I won't be making an official update to Lonely to add these Ryu07-core sprites, I hope you enjoy looking at these secreenshots! And if you're interested in where these characters are from, they come from my free(!!!) yandere yuri horror VN, It gets so lonely here, which takes a little inspiration from Umineko in places.
