Woodland walk in the colourful autumnal woods of Ireland. Moss-covered trees, fallen leaves and a path that winds around the hillside.

This was one heck of a trip. Driving in the middle of the night under a blanket of stars left me dumbstruck. I had never seen the sky covered in stars and once I looked up there was no way I could look down again. It was disappointing when the sun started rising and all I could think back then was, "Five more minutes. Just give more minutes please." But as you can see from the picture above, the sun didn't disappoint either.
This was the trip which made me realise that I am not just a beach person. I also loved the woods. There is this certain peace and calm in that pin drop silence which can either calm you (duh!) or the silence can get deafening. Thankfully, for me it was the former.

Today was a good one.. even though
I struggled mentally today and was still tired from not using my CPAP last night and having horrible vivid nightmares all night..
I woke up and was immediately greeted by animals who wanted food and love and chores that needed my attention before I could even sit down for coffee I was already really overwhelmed.. after getting some things done and settling in I was able to recover.
Even with the weird seizure feelings that were coming and going today my love and I had a gorgeous hike and loved getting in those miles up hill, then after dinner we went for a lovely walk in town with our dog Nelly noodles.
Everyone is taken care of and happy and Im feeling thankful to be alive.
3.93 miles hiking and 2.58 walking.
