I Love 💕 This Hotel! DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Savannah Airport is Leslie's Lane approved! Whenever I go to Savannah, I typically stay in historic Savannah! When I write articles and post to social media, I encourage all friends, family, and readers to book hotels along River Street or Bay Street. It just so happens that the hotel rooms in Downtown Savannah were more that twice the normal price. My brother Henry, sister Natalie, and I decided to go to the airport. This is an exceptional hotel and is one that I will add to my list of Savannah hotels I love! The service is exceptional! I especially like that they have reserved parking spaces for military veterans! My brother Henry served in the Army and I served in the Georgia Air Force National Guard. #siblingsweekend #LesliesLane #Hilton #HiltonHotels #doubletreebyhilton #DoubleTree Please follow me @LesliesLane - Please check out a few articles for Medium! https://leslieroyal1.medium.com/ - Please check out a few articles for Upscale Living Magazine https://www.upscalelivingmag.com/author/leslie-e-royal/ - Please check out article that I wrote for everyone else! https://muckrack.com/leslieslane (at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Savannah Airport) https://www.instagram.com/p/CqTUxrcr9jX/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

"Fine & Fettle" at the Canopy by Hilton in the Southpark area of Charlotte, NC is this month's hotel restaurant visit. Check out these pics. If you thought the nightlife was "Amazing" at this neighborhood gem, just wait until breakfast. I had the pancakes with pecans, the oatmeal with bananas & granola, and the scrambled egg whites with a fruit salad & greens. behind the scenes
In my recent trip to a sunny part of the world, I was reminded of an analogy we all face in life. Let me share this thru a story.
We got to Sydney airport and was greeted with a long queue at the immigration. Wearing a mask is still mandatory so we obliged while standing in line for almost two hours. The crowded space made me feel sick.  I felt like coming down with a flu.
On the plane, I slept thru most of the flight.
Tumblr media
After five hours, we finally landed. Hello Fiji!
Tumblr media
We were greeted by the friendliest staff in Sonaisali Island at Double Tree Resort by Hilton Fiji.
It was nighttime when we arrived at the resort. I was not able to sleep well as I was feeling feverish, suffering with a cold, and worried that my symptoms might affect the government required RAT test we needed to take in the morning.
When I woke up, my throat was so painful and I could hardly swallow. But the day had to move on so we got ready, had breakfast and got tested. Looking at a perfect view of the sun shining and hearing the waves while waiting for the result was a mixture of excitement and anticipation.  It was the longest ten minutes I had to endure.
Tumblr media
Then finally, a sigh of relief when the staff delivered the news that the result was Negative. Finally, time to enjoy and relax!
Tumblr media
The sun was kissing my skin, sand was in my toes, the water was refreshing my body, the sea breeze was brushing my hair, the island sound tickling my ears, and fresh coconut water was running down my throat quenching my thirst.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well, I felt all that but really, what was going on inside of me was different.  I was fighting to stand while battling a nasty cold, chesty cough and flu. Behind the scenes it looked like this.
Tumblr media
I cannot remember how many Panadol tablets I took and the variety`of vitamins I drank.  I think I also bathed myself with Vicks vaporub. This was the real scenario. I tried my best to fight so I can enjoy my holiday.
I guess my point is all of us have a different “behind the scenes” experiences.  And whatever that is you are going through, do not give up!
Cheers everyone!

This impressive number reflects a year of significant growth, highlighted by the addition of 10 new hotels across diverse destinations. With nearly 20 deals signed in 2023 alone, Hilton's Canadian pipeline boasts approximately 90 hotels and more than 11,000 rooms. This surge in development positions Hilton to surpass the 200-hotel milestone in Canada soon, solidifying its position as a hospitality powerhouse in the region. Furthermore, Hilton aims to increase its Canadian hotel portfolio by a staggering 50% over the next several years. Lifestyle Brands Take Center Stage Hilton recognizes the growing demand for unique and elevated guest experiences. The 2023 opening of Canopy by Hilton Toronto-Yorkville marked the brand's debut in Canada, showcasing a trend toward lifestyle-focused hotels.
