Hi, can you write how the lions would be looking after their pregnant wife? I love your last two head cannons 😊
Yes ofc I'm glad you enjoyed my first two head canons, and thanks for being the first to send in a request! Enjoy!
Caring for thier pregnant wife
Ibuki
He would be very careful with you and tend to your every need.
If you every have cravings for any food he'll be sure to buy it right away.
If you ever feel the baby moving he'll always put his head or hand to your stomach.
Whenever you go out he'll always bring a gun for protection. He doesn't want anything to happen to you or your baby to come.
Free
He would be very tentative to your needs and try to support you in any way he can. He'd also be very physically affectionate.
When you first start developing a bump he most definitely will tease you a bit.
If course if you tell him it bothers you he'll stop with out question.
He'll try his best to cook you meals on the daily and when he can't he'll go out to get some of your favorite take out food.
Dolph
Dolph would be very tender and careful with you.
He's a bit afraid that you might over exert yourself doing something while he's at work and hurt yourself.
Once you two talk about it he'll a lot less concerned about you hurting yourself.
He would definitely cook for you every night no matter how tired he may be.
Agata
He would try his best to care for you and your needs but he won't be able to do everything.
Because he's so young he doesn't always know what you need.
Even though he doesn't always know what you need if you ask him for something he'll do it to perfection .
He would 100% kiss your baby bump and try to listen for a heartbeat all the time.
He'll cook for you every night but it might not always be the best but at least he tries.
Miguel
Like Free He would be very affectionate and care for your every need.
I could see him giving your baby bump lots of kisses.
He'd probably try to get out of work to be with you once and a while.
He would definitely cook for you most of the time and when he did it was great.
Sabu
I think he wouldn't be too concerned about you huring yourself but he would want you to take it easy
He'd definitely do a lot of cleaning around the place.
He's probably ask you if you want to go out for a walk or get a coffee here and their.
He'll definitely cook for you but you might have to give him some pointers and help him out. ( He's not a bad cook he just need guidance)
Jinma
He would definitely take care of you and he would definitely want to to fun little baby things with you
I feel like he would definitely want to go baby shopping and find cute little clothing.
He would definitely become a lot more affectionate with you too
Jinma would cook for you when he could and it would usually be pretty good.
Dope
Dope would take your pregnancy very seriously.
I think if you ever went out on your own he would have one of the other lions watch you just to be sure you're safe.
I think would he'd also not want you doing a lot of work and try to convince you to take some time off.
An amazing cook who would always make something for you when you ask.
Hino
Will want you to take time off for you and the baby to come.
Like Sabu he'll definitely clean a lot but I also think he would try to get flowers for you every once and a while.
I think he'd also take as much time off of work as he can for you.
If you guys are ever just sitting together he'll rest his hand on your baby bump.
He would definitely cook every day and it would tast exceptional. You can't tell me this man doesn't have amazing cooking skills.

Could I request a date night with the Shishigumi?
Sure!!!! Thank you for waiting!!!
-Maeve
Ibuki
Cooks for you. Spends hours practicing and setting up.
It's candle lit. He wants it to be special and he's an old kind of romantic
He wants to spend the evening just with you and talking
His ideal end of a date would be watching a classic romance movie on the couch and falling asleep with you in his arms
Free
Free would take you bar hopping. He's not a super romantic guy, but spending time with you is important.
He also wants a fun time
At the end of the night he'd like a little extra something 👀 but he's not going to force it
He wants to make memories you two will remember
Dolph
Wants something low key, probably your favorite take out and a few movies.
He wouldn't mind going out to eat at a cafe
He likes spending time with you, and doesn't require a lot of special events to do so
Agata
Video game date? Video game date.
He might take you to an adult arcade, one of those with a bar and classic games, so you two can play together.
He's also down to go to a theme park and pig out on junk food.
Would be very happy to fall asleep with you while playing something low key like Beastars version of animal crossing
Sabu
Motorcycle date
Will drive you out to the middle of a field to watch the stars
Has a picnic basket for you and a bottle of wine.
He's surprisingly romantic for a gangster
Miguel
Gym date.
He'd love to work out with you, or help you work out. It doesn't matter if it's at a gym, or just a nature walk/hike. He wants to be up and moving and be able to show off for you
After, he'd love to go to a cute café that does smoothies
Jinma
Would take you on a murder mystery date
Maybe one on a train, since then he could show off his skills in terms of problem solving and connecting dots.
That also comes with dinner
It's also something you two can do together.
Dope
A bookstore date. He will buy you hard covers and as many books as you want.
Coffee date after.
He loves dates where you two can talk and compare what you find interesting and what you dislike.
You two could end the day reading and just enjoying one another's company.
Hino
Spoiling you and a shopping date
He helps you find outfits that look good and compliment you
Hino is very fancy, so expect to eat somewhere extravagant that requires a reservation weeks in advance
The end of the day probably involves snuggling and falling asleep to a romance movie.

ACID! ♡ cobra
synopsis : you’re usually the one who’s cleaning up his wounds but now the roles have reversed.
rocky’s sibling!reader , typical hnl violence , tending to boo-boo’s <3
Tumblr media
if you have a blank blog [no bio, no user, no header or profile pic, nothing reblogged, etc] do not interact with my content. you will be blocked.
your brother was a little overprotective. loyal, kind, comforting — and intense. as soon as you learned how to walk, you were taught how to defend yourself in some way ; in any way.
the man in next to you smirks as he looks you up and down, eyes latched onto the white jacket hanging on your shoulders. “you’re with rocky, huh?”
you look away from your phone and to the man. the bus stop is usually empty at this time — the people of sword didn’t venture into the dark. you blink, “excuse me?”
he points to your jacket, “the white rascals. you know them?” he takes a puff of his cigarette before flicking it to the floor and stomping it out. he chuckles, “this isn’t their territory. that doesn’t scare you?”
“why would that scare me?” you prepare yourself, poising with your back stiff and fists clenched. your back is to the map, giving the stranger in front of you your full attention. “it doesn’t matter whose territory i’m in.”
he lets out another cackle — something filled with trouble ; something nasty and mean. “sure about that?”
as cobra walks to the store for naomi, the sound of fighting catches his ears. it’s nothing new in this district — especially after the sun goes down — cobra’s instinct is to ignore it. however, as he goes past the bus stop, he hears a small yelp. a familiar yelp — one that sounds like you.
quickened footsteps hit the concrete, eyes peeled for you or your attacker. instead, cobra sees a man kneeling in front of you as you crush his fingers under your boots. your face is hidden in the shadows of the alleyway — your bus has long passed now — and cobra can’t hear what you say.
you let out a huff, swiping the blood from under your nose. the man is unconscious now — a quick knee to the face is all he needed. someone is standing at the mouth of the alley, stopping you in your tracks.
“[name]? everything okay?”
you squint into the dark, inching forward until the streetlight is brightening the figure. you pause, “oh, cobra.”
he looks you over, eyebrows furrowing at the sight of blood on your face and hands. you see his gaze and go to rub your hands on your pants before remembering you’re wearing white. “what’s going on?”
“just—“ you look back at the slumped over figure before shrugging. “a little disagreement is all.”
cobra nods slowly before grabbing your arm softly. he makes a show of it — moving calmly and casually as he puts his hand out for you. “let’s get away from here, then.”
you’re sitting on a bench outside of a convenience store, waiting for cobra. he insisted you stay until he could take you home ; stay until he could look over your wounds. a rustle of a bag catches your attention, eyes opening to look at the blond ; you didn’t even notice they’d shut.
“this might sting,” he says quietly before a wet cotton ball is patted under your nose. there’s a scratch on your lip that cobra touches tenderly, his knees knocking against yours as he does. “good thing you won your disagreement.”
you grin, hissing when it burns the wound on your lip. “i always win.”
with nowhere else to look, you’re stuck staring at cobra. you’d met him a few times before when he’d stop by to speak to your brother, your eyes wandering and always landing on him. he was pretty — polished in a way the other rugged, messy men you hung around weren’t.
cobra smirks, “starin’, [name]?”
“what else am i supposed to do?” you shoot back. with the tip of his ring finger, cobra scoops the ointment, tapping it onto your lips and then under your nose. “you won’t tell my brother about this, will you?”
“not this time.” he sighs, shoulders slumping at he puts supplies back into the bag. cobra meets your eyes sternly this time. “if it happens again, though…”
“it won’t,” you promise. “i’m usually more careful.”
cobra smirks again as he rubs the blood off of your hands. he looks at you through his eyelashes, “you little delinquent.”
you simply flash him a smile, your tongue sticking through your teeth.

How does one tell Cobra something.
Even as his younger sister (though only by an hour, which you remind him of constantly) you ask yourself that often. For it is often that Cobra messes up and has to tell you something. Like the time Yamato and him broke your doll house or the time he accidentally lost all your history notes that he stole before a big exam.
So whenever you messed up, it was hard to tell him.
Usually there would be a right time or a moment you could bring it up. But, you didn’t think such a thing existed in this situation.
Put simply, you were pregnant.
More precisely three months along now but you’ve known since you were two weeks in. The main problem was. You haven’t told anyone…
Not Naomi. Not Yamato. Not Noboru. And definitely–Definitely–not Cobra.
The reason was simple. You were scared. Not just by their reaction when they find out you are pregnant. But by whom.
Smokey.
Life worked in strange ways. Everyone would be shocked when they found out. How the hell did you two meet? They likely wouldn’t think you two had anything in common. Turns out it was the simple things. You both cared deeply about family and you both hated to be a burden to the ones you loved and adored. The two of you grew close over those two simple things. Extremely close on nights when one of you needed comfort.
Was it love? Was it a close friendship? It was hard to determine.
It’ll be alright. We’ll figure it out.
You still remembered Smokey’s words when you told him. Always so calm and always so sweet; thinking of others before himself. Even as he tried to keep calm and collected, you could see by how his hands ever so slightly shook as he took yours that he was scared. Afraid.
Smokey has never been in good health since you’ve known him. While you’ve helped him go to a doctor, they didn’t have much help to give. A lung transplant; that's the only thing that could stop his deteriorating health. All he could do was wait and maybe–if he was lucky–get a donation to pay for the surgery. But the chances were few and far between. So, he could only take some pills to keep himself stable and put his health on the back burner for now.
Would he live long enough for the child to grow up? What would happen if you were left all alone? Even though he didn’t say it, you knew those were the questions that were clouding Smokey’s mind.
It’ll be alright. We’ll figure it out.
You allowed him to hold you that night. Ignoring the worried calls from Cobra and the others when you didn’t return home. Only in the morning messaging a simple ‘I’m okay’ to them even though you weren’t. You and Smokey going your separate ways as the sun rose early in the morning. Him needing to return back to the Rude Boys and you needing to return back to Sannoh.
Life worked in strange ways. It really did.
It really fucking did.
“I can’t believe this,” You mumble, likely looking a little pale as you stare down at the stack of ultrasound photos. Each one of the Rude Boys wanting a photo of their precious niece/nephew so you had to ask for quite a few. Usually one would have their first ultrasound at 6 to 9 weeks but due to you working full time and bills needing to be paid, you had to wait until now; at 12 weeks.
Technically you could have waited longer, Smokey and you were in no rush to get the ultrasound. An idea more on the backburner as the boys and him were more focused on trying to figure out if they could make furniture for the baby out of scrap wood from around nameless city. An idea you were highly against unless they sanded it and made sure none of the wood was compromised in any way.
Surprisingly, they found such wood. And on the same day, when you woke up to a very big shock.
“Lala,” Smokey’s sister whips her head around at her name being called. Looking quite confused as she sees you in the middle of Spring wearing a big puffy coat. It seemed your weird appearance didn’t just catch her attention either as P and Yu jumped down from their places in an area up above. Likely on patrol.
“Is everything ok–” Not allowing her to answer, you dragged her to a tent nearby. Usually used for shops to set up, but it was far too early for them. Quickly, P follows after you two, signaling to Yu to go find Smokey. Knowing this is something he should know. “What’s wrong–”
Lala falls short of finishing her sentence as you take off your coat and show her what had you acting so strange. She couldn’t believe her eyes as she just saw you a day ago and it didn’t look like anything like this.
“Woah…” P lets out, taking the words right out Lala’s mouth for her. The girl still very much in shock as she tried to wrap her head around it. “That’s… That’s normal right?”
“I– Sort of? I– I don’t know. They said it's common for it to just appear suddenly one morning when you wake up. But– I don’t think it's supposed to be–”
“Is everything–”
You nearby jump in shock as Smokey and the rest of the Rude Boys barge into the tent. Expecting something horrible only to stare in shock just like P and Lala were seconds ago once they see you. The only one being somewhat calm about the situation being, of course, Smokey. Who after reading some books with you, knew this would be happening any day now.
His eyes soften as he gazes upon it. Looking at you with love and wonder as he slowly makes his way to you. A soft grin spreading to his lips as he touches your stomach, lightly tracing the bump there with his calloused fingers.
“Don’t– Don’t you think it's a bit big?” You finally ask after a few moments, telling Smokey the worry clouding your mind as you gazed upon your stomach, “I look eighteen weeks pregnant, not twelve.”
You were correct. While many in the tent knew nothing about pregnancies and had hardly ever seen a pregnant woman in her first trimester, they couldn’t help but agree that your bump was rather big. Which is likely what added to the huge shock as they saw you just over 24 hours before, no bump in sight.
“Maybe you should go to that ultrasound?” Takeshi suggests, always the voice of reason amongst the boys especially whenever Smokey was absent. “If it has to do with your belly… the doctors should be able to notice it with that, right?”
Smokey and you looked at each other and you couldn’t help but agree that Takeshi made a fair point.
“I can see if Dr.Sato has a free spot today? Will you be…” Your voice trails off when you notice a sad look grow on Smokey’s face.
“Sorry…” He starts, letting out a heavy sigh, “Things between Daruma and us have been… tense. We are expecting Daruma to try to cause some chaos in the market later today. I really want to but–”
You grab Smokey’s hand, stopping the man from going into a rant, “It's okay. I understand.”
And you did. If being Cobra’s sister taught you anything, it is that sometimes the people you loved had to drop everything at a moment’s notice to protect what they believed in.
“Just keep me updated. I’ll let you know if I got the appointment and if nothing is going on, we can see if it's safe for me to come here after.”
Smokey nods his head. While disappointed he won’t be there, he is at least pleased he will be updated on what is going on.
Fuck.
As you finally turn your phone back on after shutting it down during your appointment, you couldn’t help but grow anxious at the slew of texts that came in; some dating back hours ago. While many were from Sannoh and your brother asking if you wanted to join them at the bar, some were from the Rude Boys. It seemed the situation with Daruma was solved and Smokey was wondering if–
“There you are,” You nearly jump in fright as a voice calls out in front of you. Instantly recognizing the blonde male in front of you.
“Takeshi? What the hell–” You start, thankful it wasn’t a different blonde. Especially as it would be hard to explain the building you were standing out in front of. Quickly you whip your head around before dragging the male into an alleyway nearby, “What are you doing here? This is Sannoh territory.”
It would be extremely hard to come up with an excuse as to why a Rude Boy was this far from their territory. Especially as the boys rarely left and you were in the north end of Sannoh, closer to Oya territory than theirs.
“Smokey got worried. You didn’t answer his texts and it was getting dark,” Takeshi says, gesturing to the golden and red sky above you guys, “He sent me to pick you up.”
Moving his hand, he points to an old army jeep. One the Rude Boys often used along with their dirt bikes when they needed to get somewhere not in their territory fast. However, due to it being so old and so unique, it wouldn’t be hard for any of the Sannoh boys to instantly recognize the vehicle. Knowing an opposing gang was in their territory.
Oh god.
“Give me a second.” Takeshi says, suddenly seeming to remember something as he pulls out his phone. It rings for a moment before someone picks up on the other end.
“Hello?” Instantly recognizing the voice on the other end, you visibly relax.
“Hey, Smokey. I’ve got her right here. She just came out of her appointment.”
“Did everything go well?” Smokey asks as you take the phone from Takeshi. Already feeling much better as you could hear his voice on the other end. He has always had that calming effect on you, “Nothing wrong?”
Letting out another sigh, you hear shuffling on the other end of the phone. Likely the others joining Smokey to hear the results of your appointment.
“Everything went well. Nothing wrong at all. Just…” You let out a particularly heavy sigh, knowing you had no choice but to explain it to them as just ignoring the obvious would make them more concerned, “...I’m feeding for four.”
“Huh?”
“What?”
Takeshi–the only one you can visibly see–jaw drops in shock as he processes what you just said. Even though you shouldn’t, you can’t help but laugh a little. Finally giving the male the stack of photos after a few moments so he can finally come to terms on what you said.
Staring down at the photo, even though it wasn’t his, Takeshi can’t help but feel tears pluck in the corner of his eyes as he sees his nieces/nephews. Each labeled with a number 1 through 3 so it was each to identify each one.
“Tr–Triplets…” Takeshi starts, his voice slightly shaking as he speaks, “She’s having triplets, Smokey.”
A little concerned by the sudden silence at the other end, you call out as well, “Smokey?”
Your eyes can’t help but widen in shock as you hear an ever so slight sniffle on the other end.
“Y–Yeah?”
Takeshi seems quite taken aback as well as he hears the others telling Smokey it was okay as they laughed and patted their leader on the back. Though the two of you quickly can’t help but allow a wide grin to take on your faces as you hear Smokey’s chuckle as well; Sounding slightly watered down from his tears and stuffy nose as he was still a bit emotional. Realizing it was a good cry, not a bad one.
“We’ll be there soon, Smokey.” Looking up at Takeshi, who grabs the keys from his pockets, you quickly follow him out of the alleyway as you continue to talk on the phone, “Don’t go crying anymore. I still have yet to show you the photos. I practically started sobb–”
Quickly, as you glance to your right, you can’t help but freeze in your steps. The smile wiping clean off your face when your eyes lock with another.
Oh, no.
No. no. no. no. no.
“Shit,” Takeshi curses once he sees them as well, “Smokey, fuck. We’ve been seen.”
However, even though you know Smokey and the others are saying something on the other end, you can only continue to stare at your brother; the rest of the world blocked out just from the pure shock running through your body. Cobra eyes are wide and confused as he sees you. The rest of the gang confused as well as they pause in getting off their bikes. Clearly having showed up after hearing the Rude Boys jeep was spotted in Sannoh.
It is only as Takeshi shakes your shoulder that you finally snap your gaze away from Cobra, “We have to go. Now.”
But–
Not allowing you a second to respond, likely thinking you were still in shock, Takeshi grabs you by the wrist and starts dragging you to the car. Hoping that since the boys are far enough down the street, that he could beat them to his car.
“Hey. Hey!” The roaring sound of blood pumping through your veins echoes in your head as your brother finally snaps out of his trance. His voice muffled in your ears even though he is probably yelling. As you shakily take a seat in the passenger seat, you can’t help but jump in surprise as you feel a hand suddenly grab onto the jacket on your shoulder.
“What are you doing? Why the hell are you with—?” Yamato asks as you stare up at him with wide eyes. However, it is as he pulls at your jacket, that he sees your stomach. Stopping him dead in his tracks as he takes in the sight, “Why are you pregnant? What the fuck did those bastar–”
You gasp in shock as Takeshi suddenly kicks Yamato, getting the man to fall onto the sidewalk, as the vehicle finally starts. You can’t help but snap your head around as your brother begins to call your name, still racing after the vehicle. Only stopping once the vehicle finally picks up speed, causing him to stop and stare.
To stare back at you with so many questions and concerns in his eyes.
“I—“ You start, turning back around to face the front. Just in pure shock at what just happened, “I— I should have told him. Oh my god… I’m such an idiot.”
“Stop it.” Takeshi yells over the wind as he drives, reaching a hand over to grab onto one of your shaking ones. “You did what you thought best. You weren’t sure how Cobra would react to finding out about Smokey. It could have caused a bigger mess than this for all you know.”
“But— My brother will be chasing after us, you know?” You start, looking in the rear view mirror as if waiting for the motorcycles of the Sannoh Hoodlum Squad to whip around the corner, “He’ll— He’ll come to nameless city and—“
“It’s okay. It’s okay.” Takeshi says, grabbing hold of your shoulders and hugging you as the vehicle reaches a stop light. “Everything will be okay. This can’t blow up anymore than it is.”
“B-But—“
“Breathe. Please just breathe.” Takeshi says, running a hand down your back to soothe your shaking figure, “We’ll be home soon. Everything will be okay.”
As the stop light changes and he is forced to pull away, you are finally quiet. While still shaking, you lean into Takeshi’s side for comfort. Clutching his hand tightly as he continues to drive back to the Rude Boys territory. Unable to stop yourself from jumping whenever you heard to loud sound of a motorcycle engine off in the distance
“Smoke—“ As soon as Takeshi slams on the brakes, putting the car in park. The rest of the Rude Boys descend. Instantly Smokey clutches onto you and helps you out of the car, not wanting to let you go.
His eyes trail your body, looking for any signs that you were hurt in any way.
“What in the hell happened out there?”
“Sannoh recognized–” As Takeshi leaps out and begins to explain, you allow Smokey to pick you up–something you usually wouldn’t allow–as he and the group begin to walk. Knowing better than to argue with the leader when he was like this, though you also didn’t have the strength to. Secretly you are glad Smokey’s large puffy jacket muffled your ears from the talking of the boys around you. Allowing you to focus on his steady heartbeat; giving you a chance to tune out of the world.
Though only for a couple of moments, only a couple moments of peace, before Smokey calls your name. Lifting your head, you glance up at Smokey, who looks down at you. Concern and apologies swirling in his dark eyes.
“We need to hide you.” Smokey whispers, seeming to not like the conclusion he has determined but knowing it was the best and safest option for you.
“What…?” You start, caught off guard as the boys begin to jog, knowing where to head as they likely have limited time. You, still in his grasp, whip your head around to determine where you guys are going. However, night had fallen and it was too dark to know your surroundings. The only light being the moon that shined through the clouds, “Smokey, wait. You– You can’t do that. The boys– My brother is going to misunderstand.”
“Yes, I know. I’m sorry.” Smokey says, lifting you up and handing you to P on a platform attached to a crane. Reminding you of the ones that are used in the mines. As the boys all jump on, Yu hitting the lever before jumping on as well, the platform begins to move upwards. Finally allowing you down to your feet, Smokey brings you into his arms. Hiding his face in your hair as he attempts to control his shaky breathing, “I’m sorry. I just… can’t risk how they will react. Yamato has already seen your stomach and they likely have already begun to draw their own conclusions.”
“But…” However, your voice quickly trails off as you think. Smokey had a point. While you know your brother and his friends would never hurt you. Never. You could very easily get caught in the crossfire if things heated up too quickly between the groups. The gangs in SWORD were always on the brink of war with one another. Even the slightest of comments or looks could break the peace in seconds.
“I’m sorry.” Smokey repeats, lifting his head to press a kiss to your forehead. One that causes your eyes to flutter shut as you lean into his gentle and caring gesture. As he pulls away, you can see a slight glint in his eyes. One you can’t determine as the lift final comes to a stop. As you look around, you gain an understanding of where you are. All of you are in some sort of watch tower office. One that clearly belongs to the Rude Boys as you look around: maps, notes and their items strewn about the place.
As you watch P pull out a batch of wires inside the panel of the lift, clearly cutting the power so it can’t be accessed from below, Smokey takes you in another room. While you guessed it was originally meant to be a small office meant for a manager, the Rude Boys had clearly turned it into a resting room of some sort. Torn pillows, blankets, and even an old twin mattress on the floor in the corner. Likely this room was used by the boys when they took turns watching from the tower on patrols.
As Smokey shuts the door and calls your name, you turn your attention away from your surroundings and back to him.
“Promise me.” He starts, bringing up a hand to cup your face. Swiping a thumb across your cheek as he looks you in the eyes, “Promise me that no matter what happens that you won’t run out into the mess of this.”
While you didn’t want to agree. Especially as you considered what could possibly happen and how many could get hurt. A thing that made you nauseous as you realized it was all caused by you. You knew you had to agree. If you left Smokey and the others worried, who knew what could happen to them.
You knew the best option would be to allow Smokey to have a clear mind. One that could keep him calm and hopefully talk to your brother instead of having an all out brawl commence, “I promise…”
Your words are quickly cut off as Smokey captures his lips in yours. It is passionate and heated compared to the usual pecks he gives you. One that takes your breath away and leaves you dizzy.
And as Smokey pulls away, you see the glint return back in his eyes. You once again didn’t understand it, that is until Smokey pulls you once again into another hug. Kissing your hair as he sighs, once more trying to calm himself.
It is as he does so, his body pressed up against yours more so than usual as he rests his chin on your head, that you feel it.
“I…” You start, unable to help yourself from letting out a laugh. Instantly trying to muffle it in the fur of his jacket as you feel it pressed up against your hip, “Do you have…?”
“...Sorry.”
“Why do you…” You can’t help but let out another laugh at how Smokey shifts slightly away so you can no longer feel it. Always a gentleman. “Why do you have a boner, Smokey?”
“I–” As he pulled away to look at you, you could tell he felt embarrassed and quickly stopped laughing. His eyes looking more so to the wall than you, “It’s because… some guy is trying to take you away.”
“But… it's my brother.”
“I know.” His eyes snapping back to yours so you don’t misunderstand what he is trying to say, “It's because he has the power to stop me from seeing you. Permanently. That’s what it is, not who he is.”
“So… you are basically saying that you…,” You start, heat slightly spreading up your face at what you are about to say, “You are possessive over me and are trying to… stake your claim.”
Instantly, Smokey’s ears turn red and you can tell he just wants to bury his head back in your shoulder in embarrassment.
“It’s okay, Smokey,” You say, reassuring the man as you come up and press a kiss to his lips. One he instantly melts into, “It’s pretty… attractive. Just not the right place or time.”
“Sorr–”
“Don’t apologize. We can… explore this later.” You say, cutting off another apology from him. While he wasn’t as prideful like your brother or the other sword leaders, he was apologizing a lot today. Even for him, “I just don’t want the boys or… my brother to walk in on us.”
Just as an uncomfortable shiver trails up your spine at the thought, you see Smokey freeze. Definitely horrified at the thought as well.
“Another day it is,” He agrees, making you laugh a little. The sound bringing a small grin to his lips. Though not for long as a knock on the door breaks the happy atmosphere.
“Smokey,” Takeshi says, pausing for a moment as he seems to determine his next words, “Cobra and the rest of Sannoh is here.”
“Okay. I’ll be out in a moment,” The leader replies, before looking back at you. A concerned look once again returning to his face, “Please. Stay here.”
“...I will…”
Giving you one last look as he opens the door, Smokey seems to take you in–almost as if he was thinking this might be the last time he would see you–before shutting it close. A soft click followed by what sounds like shuffling. It takes you a moment to realize the boys were pushing heavy boxes in front of the door in order to hide the room.
As silence overtakes the room, you find yourself all alone. With the only light in the room being from a window covered in newspaper clipping, you can’t do much other than sit so as not to trip or fall. You can’t even pace to ease your worries.
With a heavy sigh, you grab an old tattered quilt on the floor and sit in the corner on the old mattress. Wrapping yourself in the blanket as the cold spring night wind whips around outside. It was a long time spent in silence and your own thoughts. You couldn’t even look at your phone or the ultrasound photo of the triplets; both still in Takeshi’s possession. Sitting, waiting and thinking; that's all you could do.
You even thought about sleeping, but you knew you couldn–
You let out a loud yelp as a crash resounds throughout the room. The glass of the window shattering and it takes you a moment to realize it was P. Covered in bruises and cuts as he attempts to get to his feet in the middle of the room, you realize someone had thrown him through it.
“Are you ok–”
“Stay back!” P yells, stopping you from coming to him as you get to your feet. You are confused until you hear someone else jumping through the window as well. However, it's not who you expect.
“So this is where you have been keeping her,” Koo says as he adjusts his white suit, slightly brushing something off his shoulder. Rocky’s assistant glances your way as you stare at him in shock; seeming to check over your figure. His eyes stopping on your stomach before his jaw clenches, “A bunch of heathens that's what you guys are. How many times did you take turns abusing and manipulating this woman?”
“Wait–” However you can’t even get a word in before you are suddenly lifted up, letting out a scream as someone begins to take you through the window.
“Let her–” P dodges as Koo attempts to hit him with his staff. The older man fully intending on blocking the Rude Boy from grabbing you as you are continued to be taken through.
As you glance back, you see Shimura. The blonde male, with both of his eyes covered in those strange leather goggles of his, grins at you, “Got you!”
Of course, the White Rascals are here.
Protector of Women. They would instantly jump in if one was in danger. You were just surprised your brother asked the group for help. At least you think he did.
Did that mean the Rude Boys were outnumbered? Were any of the other SWORD groups here as well? You had too many questions and worries bouncing through your mind. Way too overwhelmed for what was good for you.
“Okay, now we are– Hey! Wait!” As soon as Shimura puts you down on the platform so you can stand, you instantly end up bolting. As to where you would go, you didn’t know. You knew you couldn’t go back in the office as that would be a dead end and Koo was still in there. Stuck on the highest point of the tower, you technically could only go one way. Down.
“Oi! That's dangerous!”
The white rascal chases after you, only to freeze in his steps as he watches you go over the railing and walk across a supported metal beam. Thank goodness the boys got bored one day and taught you some of their tricks. While you couldn’t do any of their crazy flips or spins, you could at least keep your balance and slide down on some things.
Grabbing hold of the fabric at the end of the beam that fell all the way to a platform a few floors below, you take a deep breath and step off the edge. An action that makes Shimura gasp and begin to yell at you to knock it off as you dangle on the material; drawing the attention of some of the others nearby.
“Oi– Hey!” You nearly jump in fright as something grabs onto the fabric as well, however you breathe a sigh of relief when you just realize it is just P. The young man a bit more bruised than a couple moments ago when you saw him but he seemed to escape Koo’s grasp without an issue.
“Be careful,” P says as places one of his arms around your waist, just in case you slipped so he could grab you, “Let's try to get you away from this mess.”
“Okay.”
With a deep breath, you and P begin to slide down the fabric. A bit slower than what the Rude Boys would normally do, but thankfully you got to the bottom without any issues.
“The bikes–Shit.” Just as P goes to look at something, he instantly stops in his tracks. As you look to your right, you see both Rocky and your brother making their way to you. Simply stated, Cobra looked pissed.
“Hino, wait–” You start only to stop once something jumps down in front of you. Taking you by surprise, it takes a moment to realize it was Smokey. While you normally would be more than glad to see the young man, it wasn’t right now. Your heart stopping when you see the crimson liquid dripping from his lips, knowing it was from his lungs, “Stop. Stop! Everyone just stop!”
As you clutch onto Smokey, screaming at everyone, Cobra and Rocky pause in their steps. Well maybe not Cobra if it weren’t for Rocky sticking out a hand to stop him.
“Are you okay?” You ask as Smokey gets to his feet, a little shaky as he wipes his lips. The man nods his head but makes no effort to move, instead bringing you close so you are behind him. P behind both of you so as to watch your backs.
“Stay… Stay behind,” Smokey chokes out, grabbing your hand and running his thumb over it. As he looks back at you, unable to help yourself–mostly out of worry–you take the sleeve of your jacket and rub away the crimson liquid falling from the man’s lips. An action that has you wincing as Smokey ends up accidentally having a coughing fit into the fabric; Spiting up more blood in the process but you don’t bring your hand away. Too worried about him than anything else.
“Smokey, you bastard!” Cobra suddenly yells, catching you off guard as you look to see your brother practically fuming as he glares down the male. If looks could kill, right? “I thought of you better than this. You have a sister but you– you still allow your group to manipulate and rape–”
“Hold up! Wait!” You shout, cutting off the extreme conclusion your brother came to. Not even wanting him to finish that sentence. Taking a deep breath you finally decide it was time to address the obvious. No more running away in fear or allowing Smokey to protect you.
“Hino, they never did any of that. I– Smokey and I…” You take your gaze away from your brother to look at Smokey. The haggard man slightly panting in order to breathe but smiles gently as you Interlock your fingers with his. Giving you a reassuring squeeze, “Smokey and I are together.”
“What?”
“Well sort of together,” You say, mumbling slightly; not noticing the tone your brother used, “We became close friends and… things sort of happened… and then I got pregnant. I–”
“You–” Something suddenly smashes nearby, making you jump slightly and cut off your words. Instantly Smokey pushes you further behind him and it takes you a moment to realize it was caused by Cobra. Your brother having kicked something nearby to him in a heat of rage, “You can’t be serious. This– This has to be some sort of lie. He must be manipulating–”
“It’s not!” You yell back, your emotions finally coming crashing down on you, “I just– I just…”
You let out a heavy sigh as you cross your arms, slightly gnawing at your lip as you begin to feel anxious. Especially knowing you had to explain your decision, “I was just scared to tell you, Hino.”
Your brother seems to pause for a moment. His gaze slightly growing less sharp and cold upon hearing your words, “Scared to tell me…?”
“I…” You gulp, feeling tears begin to prick the corner of your eyes. Damn it, “I–I knew I messed up. I don’t regret anything with Smokey but I knew that because he was from another group that it could cause problems. I wanted to tell you but– but– I was scared if it would cause a fight or– or– if it would disappoint you– or–”
You sniff a little, wiping your eyes as tears rolled down your cheek. It's silent from Cobra’s end and you can’t bring yourself to look up at your older brother. Though through blurry vision trained to the ground you see Smokey turn around. Guessing he was looking at you as he began to rub comforting circles in your hand. Unable to help yourself–the simple act reducing you to sobs–you can’t help but throw yourself in the male’s arms; hiding your head in the man’s jacket as you cry.
However as you cry in Smokey’s jacket, trying to calm the aching and horrible feeling in your heart, it isn’t long before a hand grasps your arm and you are pulled into another’s hold. The other person’s arms instantly wrapping around your body tightly as they place their chin on your shoulder. Smelling the cologne and laundry detergent you knew your brother used made you sob even harder when you realized it was him who was holding you.
“I–I’m–m so sorry– Sorry, Hino–” You sob out, your voice breaking and cracking as you attempt to pull yourself together. Especially as your brother hushes you and draws shapes on your shoulder with his hand to get you to calm down. Something he has done ever since you two were kids.
“Idiot… What are you apologizing for?” Cobra says, pulling his head back up so you can see each other. With a small frown on his face, he brings up a thumb and wipes the tear stains from your cheeks, “I’m not angry or disappointed in you. Sure, you and Smokey…”
He takes the chance to send the male a glare from over your shoulder. One you probably would guess, Smokey gave right back; knowing him.
“...I’m not too happy about it but it's at least better than Murayama or… Hyuga. I would definitely kill them if that ever happened.” You can’t help but let out a small choked laugh at your brother’s comment. Especially as he grumbles about the last part, “But, if anything, I’m just upset and worried you felt like you couldn’t tell anyone this.”
“Technically, all of nameless city knew–”
“Doesn’t count.” Your brother sternly says, cutting P off, “You couldn’t have even told Naomi?”
“You know she would instantly tell Yamato or you.”
Your brother huffs but understands that you were very much correct in your assumption. While she kept some secrets from the boys, you knew she would definitely tell the boys about it the moment she found out about anything between you and Smokey. Entirely for your safety of course.
“So…” Your brother starts after a sigh, seeming awkward but you could tell he wanted to ask something, “How long have you and Smokey been a… thing?”
“Well…” You turn to Smokey who seems to freeze at the subject. Knowing this could quickly set Cobra off as well, “We aren’t really together. We sort of…”
“…are messing around?”
“No, no,” You say, quickly reassuring your brother as he attempts to go around you. Likely to give Smokey a piece of his mind if he thought of you as a ‘fun time’, “It wasn’t physical. Definitely not at first. We would just… rely on the other to share our deepest secrets and to seek reassurance when we weren’t okay. It isn't until later that the other stuff just… happened.”
Grumbling under his breath, your brother seems still quite unhappy about the whole situation but honestly–-truly honest–his reaction could have been a lot worse. Especially knowing him and all the scenarios you conjured up in your head.
It is only as heavy boots approach you, that you forgot about one crucial thing. A thing that makes your blood run cold once more.
“Sor–Sorry, Rocky,” You murmur sheepishly, glancing at the Rascals leader as he approaches. While he outwardly didn’t look pissed, some of the White Rascals men were definitely beaten up. A clear indicator in the bruises and cuts on Kaito, Kizzy and Koo’s faces as they walk up behind their leader, “Sorry you got dragged into this mess–”
However, the White Rascals leader raises his hand, signaling you to stop in your rant. A small smile gracing his lips, that quickly disappears as you blink. Reaching into his pocket, the man pulls out a business card and gives it to you.
“If shit hits the fan again and you need help,” He starts, pulling down his sunglasses he gives you a knowing wink, “Don’t hesitate to call.”
“Hey.” Your brother warns as the White Rascal leader walks away. But, the Rascals don’t listen and just ignore your brother; instead cheering and exhaustingly leaving as they eaves you goodbye. The only one seeming to still pay attention to your group was Kizzy. The young woman holding up a small picture–almost making you choke on your spit as you instantly identify it–and sending you a knowing smile.
“You better stop by at the club,” Kizzy yells as Kaito wraps an arm around her shoulder, beginning to lead her away, “I want to see more of these cuties.”
“Hey!” Yu yells as he leaps down next to you guys. However the Rascals are already walking down the metal steps; no longer in hearing distance, “That’s ours!”
“It’s fine. It’s fine.” You reassure, stopping the younger male from chasing after them. Clearly pouting at the fact they stole something they were waiting for, “I got plenty of extra copies.”
“Extra copies…?” Cobra asks as Yu yells upwards at Takeshi. Asking him to come down so as to get his copy. Once more you freeze as you realize your brother has no idea about the appointment today… nor the results.
“Well…” You start as Takeshi joins you guys. A nervous sweat breaking out as you see the rest of Sannoh and Rude Boys coming out from the structure as well, coming to likely see what the ruckus is about, “...twin genes, am I right?”
As Takeshi holds out a picture to Cobra, you back up and return to Smokey’s side. Allowing Sannoh and your brother to process what exactly they were seeing. Hoping their reaction wouldn’t be too bad as you left them alone with the other Rude Boys.
“You okay?” You ask Smokey, cupping the male’s face. His stern eyes easing as you approach; seeming to melt into your touch as he wraps a hand around your waist. Always liking you close by within arms length.
Instead of responding, Smokey leans in and takes your lips with his. While you flinch a little at the sticky feeling, reminding you he was just coughing up blood a few moments ago, you eventually relax and return the loving kiss. Humming as Smokey takes his other calloused hand and gently cups the back of your neck. Playing with the baby hairs located there that causes shivers to shoot up your spine.
As Smokey pulls away, a loving gaze on his face. You can’t help but grin uncontrollably back at him. An action he seems to like as he wraps you in his arms and presses kisses to your face. A smile beginning to grow on his—
“Smokey… I think we should have a talk.”
Uh oh.
You forgot about Cobra standing right there.

Her bathroom wasn’t exactly spacious, but there was enough room for Junpei to sit in her bath while she stood and bathed him in love. Fingers gently ran the shampoo through his hair, making sure to not snag at the roots too much but enough to get the dirt out. His eyebrows relaxed, the much-needed scalp treatment releasing all the fog that filled his head, the cuts and bruises on his knuckles clean enough to see the open wounds and how he hoped they’d heal quickly. Perhaps a kiss would do it, he’d have to ask later. He always loved and appreciated how her touch was like feathers with him, as if she didn’t want to break him. Rinsing through his hair, slowly stroking her nails through his stands, slicking them away from his forehead and watching his chest rise and fall with a calm rhythm.
Once she’d finished with his locks, she slid her hands down to his shoulders, his skin still so cold despite the water being hot. She always admired his back muscles, something only very few people really got to see. Defined and in best shape, she loved tracing her fingers through the dents and ridges. Cobra’s eyes closed and he let out a deep breath upon feeling his muscles touched lovingly like that, her lips connecting with his shoulder and each kiss that led to his jaw sent him to the clouds where the world didn’t matter, and it was just them.
“You put the world on your shoulders,” her voice came out just above a whisper, the hairs on his nape standing up, “but you should really take some time to be selfish, Jun.”
He turned his head, eyes fixed on her gaze, “I’m being selfish right now.”
“How so?”
“Want you in this bath with me. Need to feel you against me.”
She smiled, gentle hands fleeting his shoulders but his mind bursting in satisfaction watching y/n pull her shirt over her head, shimmying her pyjama bottoms and underwear off and discarding them by the door before tying her hair above her shoulders. She knew what the effect of her stripping so casually in front of him did, made Junpei feel like a teenager being so down bad all over again.
Stepping into the bath, Cobra holding her hand, she sat with her back to his chest. Soft lips pressed against her neck, her skin, body and mind melting into him completely as she let him be selfish for once. She always loved how his arms brought security to her, with biceps tensed or not, feeling his arms wrapped around her with rough hands wandering over her curves, pawing at the flesh as if he was checking to see if she really was real, while his lips left nothing but sweet pecks over the most sensitive areas of her shoulders.
“See, isn’t this nice?” she breathed, Cobra brought his lips to the shell of her ear, humming deeply in response.
“You make all the weight go away.” His voice rumbled through his chest and up her spine, her mouth opening on reflex to release a small gasp. He buried his nose into the crook of her neck, securing his arms around her waist and letting their bodies melt together with their heat and the steam from the water. Cobra didn’t need a lot from her, he didn’t ask for a lot either, small moments were enough for him to forget about the world beyond the walls. All he ever asked for was for her to be by his side.

For You

𝑷𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈(𝐬): Junpei "Cobra" Hino x Reader (ʏᴏᴜ/ʏᴏᴜʀ) 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒓𝒆: drabble; fluff 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈: gender unspecified(?); term "maiden" used
Tumblr media
“And what are these for?”
You stare at him incredulously, the lingering scent of roses, baby’s breath, and marigolds wafting in the air around you. The priceless confusion and conflict in his expression made your attempts to hold your giggles fruitless.
“A gift, what else?”
“You sure it’s not an errand?” Cobra gave you a wary look. Shaking your head, you tapped his chest with the bouquet, urging him once more to take it.
With a sigh, he takes the bouquet without brushing your hand against his. Your heart leaped, watching his stoic features tracing over the petals and stalks. Nothing but the whistling winds occupied the sounds. Right, it was going to rain soon.
“Thanks,” he said. “You should go now, the weather won’t be kind tonight.”
You nodded, “say ‘hi’ to the gang for me.” You scrambled towards the way to your house. When you reached a corner, you pressed your back against the brick wall. You let out an ecstatic squeal, pumping your fist in pride; slightly kicking your feet. After months, you finally did it!
You quickly cupped your mouth, looking around the area before resuming your journey.
Meanwhile, Cobra entered ITOKAN, treading to his usual table. He placed the bouquet on the table, before grabbing a magazine from the side. While his rowdy gang hollered in laughter from Dan’s story, he couldn’t tear his attention away from the neatly-arranged beauty.
Cobra was observant. He noticed the fresh small scars and cuts that decorated your hands. How long did it take you to make this? How many days of trial and error did you do to ensure this was perfect? He petted the rose petal, soft and gentle like your hands from earlier, admiring its shape.
“Ahem.”
He shot his glance up, finding Naomi with his usual dish. Stuffing his hand in his pocket, he went back to his magazine. She placed the plate on his table, before crossing her arms. “And here I thought men were supposed to give flowers to the maidens,” she quipped, “better step up your game.”
“Shut up,” Cobra rolled his eyes.
Not a moment later, all it took was Yamato’s loud mouth to point out the flowers, before the entire diner went berserk.
First fic of the year 😭 My goal for this year is to write more, in a simple form. No matter how short or long! f*ck you, procrastination!!

Home to Me (Cobra x reader)
Tumblr media
part 2 of Home to You please read the first part before reading this one
Genre: It's just fluff, domestic relationship
Warnings: sex is mentioned, typical H&L violence, other than that I don't think there is anything but let me know if I missed anything
I usually write with fem pronouns and descriptions because that is what is easiest for me. If those do not fit you, please feel free to change whatever needs to be changed to fit you while you read!
Italics are a character's thoughts
The one where Cobra is waiting for you at home and reflects on how he's happy you come home to him (takes place after the 3 movies)
In my dreams I come home to you and you come home to me, and for a split second every hardship I ever endured has meaning.
⋅︓︒︑∘∗✧∘︑︒⚬∙︓⋅⠄✯∘⠄✧⠄⋅︓︒︑∘∗✧∘︑︒⚬∙︓⋅⠄✯∘⠄✧⠄
Cobra sat on the couch, impatiently looking at the clock on the wall.
10:30. She should be back any minute now.
He continued to wait on the couch. He was tired but didn't want to go to sleep not knowing whether or not you were home. Cobra also liked being the one to greet you after a long day considering you were home after him 8 times out of 10. He couldn't understand how you were so patient waiting for him to come back when he was out on S.W.O.R.D business those very few 2 out of 10 times.
Cobra looked at the clock again.
10:35. It's only been 5 minutes?! It feels like I've been sitting here forever!
Cobra checked his phone to see if you had messaged him about coming home later, but the last text was still the one from earlier saying that you would be home by 10:30.
Just as Cobra was thinking about finding something to distract him, he heard the front door unlock. Cobra got up and quickly went to the door, opening it for you before you could even grab the doorknob.
"Hi babe! Sorry I'm a little late, I had to grab some things," you said as you were putting your bags on the kitchen table.
Cobra hugged you from behind. "As long you're home that's all that matters to me. I was beginning to worry, you usually come home right on time. What's all this?" He asked as he looked at the bags you had previously set down on the kitchen table.
"Well, I had an early shift at the hospital today and couldn't come home until late so I couldn't do anything for your birthday today. I bought stuff on the way home to make you breakfast and lunch tomorrow before I leave for my late shift tomorrow as a belated birthday present."
"You didn't have to ___. Having you is enough."
"You always say that! So corny."
"I'm being serious. The best gift is you, being here with me."
"That reminds me! Sit down please." ___ got out of Cobra's arms, gently pushed him to sit down in a chair, ran to the cupboard to grab the lighter, and pulled a box out of one of the bags setting it in front of Cobra. ___ sat down and opened the box, revealing a pink cupcake with a single candle put into the middle.
"It's 10:45. You have 15 minutes left, make a wish."
"I have no wishes, my dream already came true."
"As sweet as that is, I'm begging you to stop being corny and make a wish before the day is over."
"I'm being serious."
"In that case, make a new wish, and then you can tell me all about the wish that already came true. Promise I won't interrupt you."
"Okay." Cobra closed his eyes and made his wish.
I'm so lucky to have you. I thank whatever higher beings are out there that granted my wish the very first time we did this. I couldn't ask for anything more than what I have already been given because you are my everything. If I had to absolutely wish for something new, it is that this love lasts until the end of our days together.
He opened his eyes and blew out the candle. "I'm done."
"10:50. 10 minutes to spare. Are you sure you don't want to squeeze in a few more wishes while you have time?"
"No, I think that was good."
"If you say so. I will cook for you tomorrow and since I didn't get to spend your birthday with you today, I will spend all morning and afternoon with you tomorrow. We can do whatever you want."
"Whatever I want? Anything?"
"Anything."
"So what if we-"
"Scratch that I take that back. Anything but have sex all day. I work at a hospital I can't go to work with wobbly legs. I do have to be able to walk for my job."
"How about you call out for the entire day so you can just stay with me?"
"I had to negotiate a lot to even get half the day off. I would love to but I can't."
"That's no fun."
"I know, I'm sorry."
"It's okay I have tonight."
___ laughed as her fiancé led her to their bedroom.
(Yes they do have sex but no I will not be writing it because genuinely idk how 😂)
⋅︓︒︑∘∗✧∘︑︒⚬∙︓⋅⠄✯∘⠄✧⠄⋅︓︒︑∘∗✧∘︑︒⚬∙︓⋅⠄✯∘⠄✧⠄
Cobra sat on the edge of your bed as he waited for you to finish taking a shower. You had forced him to take a solo shower tonight, knowing that if you went together the rounds would never end.
You came out of the bathroom, night routine done and tackled Cobra onto the bed.
"I hate you Cobra, now I'm really tired."
"You weren't saying that earlier."
"Well now I'm tired and it's your fault." The two of you laughed at each other.
"Let me adjust us into a more comfortable position." Cobra maneuvered you guys to be under the blankets, with his arms around your waist and your head laying on his chest.
"You didn't tell me about your wish that already came true."
"You see my wish that came true every time you look in the mirror my love."
"Why are you being so corny today? You're never like this. Cobra, Hino Junpei, doesn't like talking about his feelings ever..... Are you an imposter?! Give me my fiancé back! What did you do with him?" you said dramatically.
Cobra laughed as he pulled you closer to him. "Do you remember the first year we ever met?"
"I do. I was a struggling college student, trying to make it by. Studying and attending classes in the morning, and working at Itokan at night and on the weekends. When I had first moved back I was scared to take the nightshift but after a while, I wasn't scared anymore."
"Why is that?"
"I had you. You would sit in the corner of Itokan all night. I came back in the mornings to still find you under the blanket I draped over you the night before and I would set a glass of water and a painkiller by your arm so that when you woke up you had it there. I thought that that was just something you did until Naomi told me that you didn't actually stay over at Itokan unless you felt like avoiding going home. She said it wasn't often considering you spent most of your time at the gas station and then home alone. She said that a lot of the times she found you there was because you were waiting for me to go home. You would wake up after I left to go stay at the gas station, and then come to Itokan early in the morning and pretend you never left so that you could wait for me and make sure I arrived safely."
"I did do that. A lot actually. I just wanted to see you even if I didn't talk to you much. Do you remember the first birthday you spent with me?"
"I do. It was right around the time when Sannoh was having issues with Iemura and Noboru was stuck in the middle. Instead of drinking that night, you had sat in the corner deep in thought, thinking about a solution when I had interrupted you. I set a cupcake in front of you just like I did tonight. I was almost late just like tonight also. Naomi told me you didn't like celebrating your birthday much but because of everything happening, I thought it would've been nice to distract you from it even if just for a few minutes. I told you to make a wish and you did. I also wished for your wish to come true."
"It did. They all did."
"What were they?"
"I wished that Noboru would come back, and he did. I wished for nothing bad to happen to Sannoh, and we've been alright. As good as can be for a gang. The last thing I wish for, was you. I wished that one day I would come home to you and would come home to me. At that point in my life, you were the best thing that had ever happened to me, you still are. Every day I am happy that I come home to you, and you come home to me, and for a split second every hardship I ever endured had meaning; because they led me to you. When we first got together I was scared. I was scared because I had never loved someone so much before. I was scared that my position as Sannoh's leader would put you in danger. I was scared that one day you would wake up and realize that there was someone better out there for you and you would leave me. I mean, what business did a girl going to college to become a nurse have with some guy who almost didn't graduate high school and fights other gangs for a living? But everything came true. It's been years since then and I still have my brothers and I still have you, I couldn't ask for anything more."
"I love you too much, I would never be able to leave you. You can't get rid of me Cobra."
"I wouldn't dream of it. I hope that you come home to me in every lifetime."
You two shared a kiss before cuddling and falling asleep in each other's arms.

Ta-Dah! You made it to the end! Thank you so much for reading it all. I hope you liked this, it's a bit different from what I've published here so far.
I have a confession lol, I read a lot of smut but I still can't figure out how to write it myself. I don't know how you all are so good at writing it, no matter how much I try I just don't like the way I do it. I guess I am just destined to write fluff and angst for the rest of eternity.
Please don't take my work and repost it as your own on any other platforms. Writers work really hard on their stories so don't be a shitty human and take it.
Anyways..... have a good day or night wherever you are and I will see you the next time I upload ❤️

I'll Crawl Home to You (Cobra)
Tumblr media
Cobra (Hino Junpei) x Reader
Song: Cool People - Chloe x Halle
Summary: Cobra is haunted by the past and swarmed by the worries of the future. He remembers what has happened and the lives before his own. One thing is certain in every lifetime, he doesn't want to lose you.
WC: 2k
Notes: my works can be gorey, violent, and other mature themes! im fully recovered from my ear infection yaya - sorry this took so long 💔 inception reference if you find it. yes this is hozier coded. NOT EDITED IM SORRY.
When it gets too quiet, Cobra starts to remember. It can come in waves, but each and every feeling is just as strong as the next. It reaches to every nerve of his body, completely enveloping from his soul to his fingertips.
Then, things start to change. He can feel his hands get cold, then almost frozen. Snowflakes slowly descend on the tips of his ears and hair.
When Cobra opens his eyes he's surrounded by abandoned buildings, there are echoes of things he can't understand. Voices of children laughing, men in pain, or animals crying out in the night. Wood snapping, glass shattering, or metal creaking. Whatever it was, it was all forgotten to the world.
Cobra began to walk, his feet carrying him somewhere based on instinct. He stopped at an open space, when he did he realized he couldn't remember how he came to be here. Cobra saw in the distance a figure on the ground and he walked over to it.
The snow disguised his grey hair, blanketed in white for eternity. Even with discolored eyes and lips, Smokey was distinguishable. Cobra hated the fact his eyes were wide open.
Smokey fought bravely, and Smokey died.
Still, no matter how much chaos and blood that entered their lives he couldn't stand to look at the corpse. The familiar feeling bubbling in himself, the only other time it appeared was when he saw Tatsuya on that cold metal table. The day he realized what made any of this worth it, and that no one was safe.
Cobra crouched, reached over to Smokey and shut his eyes. It was a horrible reminder of that this was inevitable. While Cobra thought he had learned that from Tatsuya, Smokey made him see that he still didn't completely get it. Cobra let his ally rest, he deserved it. But Cobra couldn't, not when he had people waiting for him.
Cobra saw you, a strained smile with beautiful eyes. The images of you in his mind made him jerk up from the ground.
Pain, Cobra was in pain.
Even without any promises made to you, he felt his heart sink. He remembered the only voicemail you left that day. Your voice wavering and strained, Cobra could hear the silent tears. His own eyes stinging while he stood at Smokey's grave.
That was the most fear Cobra had ever felt in his entire life. Not when Noboru had a gun pointed at him or when he was ready to suffocate in cement.
The quiet grief around the grave, while he stood back with his phone pressed against his ear. As he listened to your words, completely alone.
Without Smokey, without Tatsuya, without Sannoh, without you.
As Cobra was shaking, he screwed his eyes shut and he let the cold air in.
But his hands no longer had his frozen phone and felt something soft under his fingers.
The warmth in his body rose, much more comfortable in his skin. He felt something tickle his face.
Cobra sneezed, and after he opened his eyes to a warm blue sky. Tall grass gently moved in the wind with tree branches that loomed above him. Cobra pushed himself up, palms pressed against the cold soil and grass.
When he sat up he heard a small fit of laughter, hidden well enough that he thought he imagined it. But you peeked your eyes out, the bottom half of your face hidden behind his shoulder. You seemed to laugh again at the look on his face and shuffled over him.
Straddled over his lap, you smiled. Now Cobra could completely process it was you. He cupped your face, hypnotized in your eyes.
"Hi," He breathed, feeling the fresh air give him an odd sense of security.
"Caught you," You kissed him briefly. The feeling bringing a warmth in chest back he didn't know he lost. A fever that he was so eager to feel again. "I think you wanted me to find you."
"I always want you with me," Cobra quietly told you. He felt his anxieties melt away.
As you lifted yourself up, he noticed you were in an unfamiliar white dress. You were also barefoot, not something he'd imagined you'd be in the dirt. The bright sun completely shined over you as you left the shade the trees gave. You basked in light, head tilted up with your eyes closed.
Cobra scrambled up, trying to pace himself over to you. But you both knew the eagerness in his touch, he glowed at the feeling of running his hands against your hair.
"Do me a favor?" You asked and tucked your head in the crook of his neck.
"What is it?"
You hummed, taking your time, "Hold me."
Cobra immediately did, all sense of confusion was gone. You were here, humming in a state of tranquility. It felt as normal as the sound of the leaves and the birds chirping. Even standing, he could have fallen asleep like this.
But the hums stopped, and your voice cracked. "Just hold me."
The rustling of a thousand leaves sounded louder, deeper, until he started to hear water. Cobra heard the chittering of birds turn to cries. He couldn't feel the long grass swaying against his lower legs anymore.
Cobra looked up, seagulls flying high above. The strong smell of salt and humidity filled his senses. The ground rocking under his feet, and your shivering body with him. The ragged and loose clothes on you made Cobra look at his own, which were the same.
Your nails were on the verge of cutting his skin. Cobra moved his hands over yours and grimaced. It wasn't because of the pain.
"I'm sorry," He told you, "I got you dragged into this."
"Do you love me?" You asked.
His mouth hung open at that, "Yes. Yes."
You looked down at the ground, smiling. The deep crescents on his skin were gently touched by your calmer hands.
Cobra peered over the edge of the boat, watching the water break against the hull. The sun was beating down on him, reminding him of what he had to do. Even in the burning heat, he didn't want to think about himself.
You were lingering back, looking at the horizon.
"Downwards is…" You whispered.
Cobra turned around, "What?"
Again, your hand gripped into his arm. A look of complete panic took over your features. Cobra shook his head in confusion, his stomach dropping for reasons he couldn't understand.
He couldn't feel the floor under his feet. Only when he sank under the ocean did he realize he was falling. Deep, into the bottomless ocean, where his ears pounded loudly and saltwater began to fill his lungs. But only when Cobra couldn't feel you with him was when he began to struggle against the water.
Where were you? Where were you? Cobra wanted to scream. He couldn't lose another person. He couldn't lose you. There was no point of any of it if he couldn't come back to you.
Through blurred eyes, Cobra saw your figure drifting way below. With no hesitation, he pushed his body down. He swam as fast as he could, the pounding in his ears getting louder. Cobra would never let you reach the bottom of the abyss.
When the shadows started to darken over you, it was Cobra who brought you to the light. He had an arm around your torso and with all of his will he pushed to the surface.
He gasped for air and with his arm around you, he couldn't tell if you were awake. Cobra moved his arm against you, trying to see if you would respond. The waves crashing against the both of you made the struggle worse. He had to get you to shore before the sea would overcome you two.
Cobra couldn't even notice the way he could see his breath, puffs visible in the air. The water dripping from his hair was freezing. It didn't even matter, he needed to get you to safety.
With every ounce of his power and will, he swam to a shore he saw from the distance. Every second was torture, not knowing whether he was dragging your corpse or your unconscious self.
Cobra gritted his teeth at the aching thoughts swarming his mind. When he pushed your body up the rocky shore, he lurched up after you.
His heart shattered at the sight of your closed eyes.
Cobra called your name, again and again. He grabbed your shoulder, shaking you roughly in panic. Slowly, he felt himself struggling to breathe. Much more painful than being in the water.
Then, you arched up. You coughed up seawater on his shirt. Cobra choked on a sob, you were here. You were here with him, you hadn't left him. He held you close while you slowly opened your eyes.
The sky was a dark red, as trees and mountains burned. Still, the air was cold and your drench clothes were freezing.
"Downwards," You mumbled, "is the only way forwards."
Cobra cupped your face with his hands. He shook his head, "Just look at me. Keep your eyes on me."
The world burned and burned. But he held you in his arms.
Cobra gasped for air when he opened his eyes. His heaving chest controlled immediately when felt you on the bed, beside him as always. In the dark, he could see your locs of hair splayed around the pillowcases. The loosely fitted t-shirt and shorts on you, he recognized.
Carefully, he sat up and moved to the edge of the bed. The sound of the electric fan moving from left to right reminded him of where he was.
You were a light sleeper though, it was almost impossible for you not to feel the dip in the bed. The sight of Cobra's back made you pout, only visible because of the streetlight that poured from the window.
You reached for his arm and tugged a few times. The sound of him sighing made you smile, especially when he shuffled back into the thin covers.
Cobra faced you, close enough to feel you breathing. Close enough to press his lips onto yours. You hummed happily against the kiss. When you broke the kiss you could see his eyes in the darkness. Even in the middle of the night, you could tell the tension in his shoulders and the stiffness in his body.
"Did you have that dream again?" You whispered, running your fingers over his lips.
"Dreams," Cobra corrected, but he more muttered it to himself.
"They're just dreams."
"Something always happens." You both knew he wasn't talking about the dreams.
"So?" You ask.
"So? I'm tired of people getting hurt." Cobra turned his body and faced the ceiling.
"Junpei. Look at me. No, Look at me," Your hands on his jaw making him face you.
"Life is gonna hurt," Your voice raspy and groggy with sleep, "You know that and I'm not gonna pretend to know the pain in your life. But no matter what, you're not alone Junpei."
"When you come home, I'll be here." Your face dropped for a moment, "But. Just come home, okay?"
Cobra nodded, of course he could do that. He could do that for the rest of his life.
"I love you. I love you so much," He kissed your forehead. "In this life and the next."
You looked at him and squinted, "Don't even think about proposing at 4am on the sweatiest day of my life. I'll break up with you."
Cobra, full of laughter, pulled you over his body. While you drowsily swatted his chest, he tightened his arms around you.
He hated how long it took him to realize how much wounds you have healed and how much life you could give him.

Kimura Delivery Service: Prologue
Tumblr media
Pairing: OC x S.W.O.R.D leaders (yes, you read that right)
Genre: smut, fluff, angst,
Word Count: 7k
Fandom: High & Low: The Story of S.W.O.R.D
Summary: After a life of swinging her fists, Sakyia is hopeful about her easy going job of delivering packages...However, her aunt neglected to mention the "regulars": The gang leaders of S.W.O.R.D. and the undeniable affection they all grow to have for her.
Overall Warnings: blood and violence, fighting, gang activity, crime, mentions of death, multiple relationships, girlboss being a girlboss, not really 'poly' but girl has a string of lovers,
Part 1 >
***
Sixteen, she surmised. Lean, limber, and tall, he did not look his age at all, which is why they let him enter the ring. Not that the managers cared about the age. They’d turned a blind eye to thirteen-year-old Sakyia back then too. She saw the determined look on his face when he stepped into the pit, a circular spot bordered by short wooden planks. She heard his manager’s shouts from his side as she wrapped her knuckles with bandages, telling him that she’s only a girl and he’d look weak losing to a girl. These words seemed to fuel Yoshi’s eagerness to win. It was either that or his manager’s severe debts. They’d fueled her too until she actually saw Yoshi in the light. He did not have the aged looks other fighters had; he was fresh and young. A child.
“Jiro!” the young woman turned to the large man standing off to the side. He’d rolled up the sleeves of his white shirt, and she could see the heat of the warehouse beading sweat on his forehead. “Jiro,” she moved close to him, “I’m not fighting.”
“The hell you mean you’re not fighting?” he asked with angry eyes. “A lot of things depend on this fight. What are you talking about?”
“He’s a kid, Jiro!” she retorted, calling over the loud crowd around the ring. “Look at him! Just look at him!”
“I am looking,” he said, “And that looks like someone who wants to be here. If he gets fucked up, it’s his own fault!”
Sakiya knew that was not true. She looked back at Yoshi, who was talking to an older gentleman on the other side. The man poured reassurances that made the boy nod his head. He did not appear as confident as before. She could tell the man was psyching Yoshi up, trying to get him in the mood to fight someone. He did not pick this fight; he did not want to be here. Nobody ever wants to be in the fighting pits. The underground fighting rings in the warehouse district were not the typical boxing matches. They did not end after a few rounds. They ended when someone passed out, yielded, or died. She gazed around the large empty warehouse. They’d blocked off the ring with wooden barriers, and spread sawdust and dirt on the floor for an easier clean up. She saw dozens of faces standing around, already cheering and holding their betting tickets. She knew a lot of people counted on her to win, but winning did not always end pretty.
“I don’t know about this,” she told her stepfather. “You know how these-”
“-Get in the damn ring, girl!” He grabbed a fistful of her hair and pulled her close. The stench of sweat and cigars made her nose wrinkle, and his hot breath suffocated her. “You want those men to come back? Because, if I don’t pay them tonight, they’ll come back and they won’t be so lenient like they were today. Do you want to see your mom in the hospital? Hm?”
Sakyia glared at him, and twisted out of his grip. Her forceful push shocked him for a second, but then he smirked. It was a dirty trick. She thought back to the men who’d accosted her mother earlier that day. They’d come seeking out Jiro, but found her instead. Sakyia saw her by their front door, holding her groceries as three men circled her. Thankfully, Sakyia appeared before they could truly hurt the small woman. They told her that if Jiro did not have their money by tonight, they’d come back with more men. She did not know who Jiro owed money to now, but they were not above hurting families. Winning this match would keep her mother safe. So, she turned back to the center where Yoshi met her.
“What are you doing here, kid?” she asked him as the referee approached the ring. “Really? This place isn’t for children.”
“I’m not a kid. I’m eighteen,” he defended.
“Sure, you are,” she scoffed. “You should forfeit while you can,” she fixed the bandages on her hands and knuckles, “So you don’t get hurt.”
“I doubt you can take me on. You should be the one forfeiting the fight before you break a nail.”
“Break a nail? Is that the best you can do?” she snorted out a laugh. “If I break a nail it’s because I smashed it into your pretty face, little boy.”
The referee stepped over the wooden fence and came between them. He mentioned something about a ‘clean fight’ which amused Sakyia. Nothing about the pits was clean. It took a ring of a bell to set everything off. Her body immediately tensed and she raised both her fists up. She took a deep breath as she moved her body to a fighting position. She could do this; she’d done it dozens of times before now. The fact that her opponent was a boy changed nothing; there’s too much at risk to forgive that.
Sakyia made the first swing. Her punch was as fast as a snake. Yoshi surprised her by blocking and punching back, barely missing her head. Another punch. She grunted as he grabbed her arm, twisting it and forcing her to kick him until she came free.
Damn, he was better than she’d expected.
“Not bad, kid!” she exclaimed as she kicked his stomach, throwing him back against the fence. The spectators roughly pushed him back into the ring, and she sighed. “But not good enough.”
He played defense, most likely hoping she’d tire herself out if he hung back. Her father taught her all the signs. Her real father, not Jiro. They don’t really hit back; they'll mostly block or dodge the hits. He told her to do the same when this happened. Either they end up dancing in circles, or her opponent is forced to start fighting. When Sakyia stepped back, it forced Yoshi to move into the center, and that was when she attacked. In a series of fast, hard blows she knocked Yoshi to the ground. But, he tripped her by the ankle and she slammed down onto the floor beside him. She groaned at the impact, and this put her guard down a moment. She imagined her father being there where Jiro stood. He’d be cheering her on. He’d be throwing encouragement and pointers. Then again, her father would’ve never brought her here. They would be at home with their punching bag or eating dinner with her mother.
“Stop playing around and finish him already, Sakyia!”
She should’ve stayed down. She should’ve faked an injury. Sakyia was more than aware how these fights ended. But, she recalled the men at their door and her fearful mother. If she yielded, she lost her earnings. So, she stood on her feet again. Her eyes glanced over to where Jiro stood talking with a man in a black suit. She hated him. She hated him from the moment she met him. She wished they’d just kill Jiro and leave her mother alone. It was because of him that she’d entered the warehouse at all.
She’d been a skinny twelve-year-old when Jiro came into their lives. He’d claimed to own a famous car dealership, a nice house and even a boat. He’d managed to pull it off while her mother and him dated, but once they married, she found out the truth. Jiro gambled most of his money away. He went bankrupt and sold his car dealership. He sold his boat to pay off some loan sharks, and he lost his house to the bank. He promised her mother he’d stop his gambling ways, but never did.
It did not help that his self-loathing projected onto her mother, a thin woman who never hurt a fly. Sakyia tried protecting her, but she’d been too small to fight him. Jiro eventually realized her skills when he caught her fighting a pair of boys who’d followed her home. Rather than sell her like most scoundrels do for money, he pushed her into a fighting pit. Thirteen-years-old by this time, he told the men who ran the fights that she was “old enough”. She doubted the men believed him, but still accepted her. Sakyia, despite hating the fights, was rather good. Her mother never approved of the fighting. Even if he gave her black eyes or swollen cheeks, she still protested against it. Not that Jiro listened. Sakyia soon gained a reputation for her hard, quick fists, earning the nickname ‘Viper’.
A stupid name that she hated.
She blocked Yoshi’s blows, despite the impact making her muscles and bones burn. Their arms locked together, and each of them began punching the other’s side. She made sure each hit counted. All she needed to do was get him to yield the fight. If he yielded, he’d leave intact. They broke apart, and Yoshi kicked her back. The blow took air from her chest, but she recovered quickly enough to grab his ankle in the second kick. She managed to turn it so he fell.
She saw the fight starting to wear Yoshi down. Her father always told her fighting was hard on novices, who used all their energy too quickly. She saw him using the fence to get onto his feet again, and struggling to breathe properly. He was only a child. This was not the place for him.
“Yield,” she said over the crowd, “Yield and go outside.”
“No,” he shook his head. She spotted a glimmer of fear in his eyes when they met, desperation mingling with it. “I can’t.”
He moved once more. He charged forward and punched her face again. Up against the fence, he started pounding on her torso and sides through her shield. She waited him out before pushing him away with an elbow to the face, then a backhand afterwards. It was a clear kick to the chest that landed Yoshi into the dirt. She heard his choked gasp and cough when he hit the floor. Sakyia saw him clawing the dirt and sawdust under his fingernails, rolling to his side and coughing. She’d turned to Jiro.
“Finish him!” he called out to her, gesturing to the boy on the floor.
“He’s down! It’s over!” she called back, shocked by what was happening.
“I said ‘finish him’! Do you want them to come back?!”
Sakyia turned back to Yoshi, who still struggled for air. She watched his chest heave up and down as it tightened. In her heart, she knew how wrong it was. Looking up, she spotted the three men from earlier in the day. They wore fancy suits with small golden pins on their lapels. They watched her with expectant gazes. She knew then why she was being pushed to murder this boy.
Jiro promised them she would do it.
“Finish him, Viper! Finish him!” Jiro shouted angrily, hitting the fence with his fists.
She ignored him. She saw the men watching her still. The tallest one, dark with his hair slicked back from his face, opened his jacket to reveal a gun. He kept his eyes on her and she did not look away. She knew what he said without hearing the words: ‘Finish the damn fight’.
Sakiya stared right at the stranger, then back to Yoshi. She saw the boy clutch at his chest, gasping deeply and coughing up the dust around him. She looked up to the stranger again. She cannot let this boy die. Whatever slight him or his family caused was not her responsibility to handle. She ignored Jiro’s protests and the jeering crowd around her. “I yield,” she said to the referee, “Go get the doctor.”
“What?! Are you insane?!” she heard Jiro call from behind her.
“Are you sure?” the referee asked.
“I’m sure.”
She saw the disapproving looks the suits gave her, but she didn’t care. She wasn’t a killer. They could get their money another way. Sakiya walked over to Yoshi, who struggled to breathe. “Hey, it’s okay,” she said gently, bending down to him and helping him sit up, “Just relax.”
“Yoshi!” the old man hurriedly approached them, holding up an inhaler. “Here,” he bent down and pressed the inhaler to Yoshi’s mouth with a wrinkled hand, “Breathe.”
Sakiya held Yoshi’s head as his grandfather pumped air through the small container. A rough hand then yanked her to her feet and spun her around. Jiro’s beady eyes glared into hers, and she didn’t move away. “Do you realize what you’ve done?! What’s the matter with you?”
“I wasn’t going to let him die,” she spat back. “If you want to settle your debts this way, then you do it,” she shoved him with a hand, putting her bloody bandages on his chest. “I’m done.”
“Done? What do you mean you’re ‘done’? You got two more rounds to go! We have to pay back those guys or they’ll get your-”
“-It’s your problem now,” she shot back over her shoulder before storming off.
‘The next round’. He truly expected her to continue fighting after Yoshi. Sakyia clenched her fists holding back her anger. Hot tears brimmed her eyes, but she did not dare cry in front of Jiro.
She walked away from the ring to an employee locker room. There was nobody there but her. She saw the medical kit on the bench, but did not take anything from it. Despite the burning pain on her nose, the caked blood on her upper lip, she couldn’t be bothered at the moment. In the fluorescent lighting of the room, she finally saw her hands. Her wrappings left indents on her skin in places, and she saw Yoshi’s blood staining her fingers. She unwrapped them as she walked over to a sink to quickly wash it off. She could still hear Yoshi’s shallow gasps as he inhaled more dust and sand. She spotted the bruises on her knuckles, and knew they’d hurt in the morning. She pitied him, and hoped the inhaler saved him. Sakiya was a lot of things, but she was not a killer. She wasn’t going to become somebody’s weapon. She splashed cool water on her hot face, putting some on the back of her neck and letting it fall into her scalp. The soothing water cooled down her hot cheeks. She needed a moment to think. She needed a plan to get out.
“You said you’d have the money by tonight, Jiro,” she heard a man’s voice echo somewhere nearby. Standing upright, she turned off the sink to listen.
“I-I-I will,” Jiro said in a shaky voice. “The girl is just freaked out. You know women; they’re so sensitive when it comes to these things. Give her a few minutes and she’ll be back out there. You’ll have your money, Nikadio. I promise.”
“You better, if you know what is good for you.”
The voices outside brought her back and she knew what to do. She grabbed her backpack and dark green jacket from a nearby locker, made sure she had everything, and stood up to leave. She needed to go home. Her mother was there waiting for her. If she hurried, they could run away. She did know where they’d go, but they had to get away. If they stayed with Jiro any longer, they’d both end up dead. When Sakyia left the locker room, she made to move towards the exit doors before a hand grabbed her wrist.
“Where are you going?” Jiro gripped her arm hard, “You still have two more fights. We’re not done tonight. Those men are dangerous people. If they don’t get their money, they’ll come back to the house and hurt your mother.”
“Stop acting like you care about her so much! We both know you don’t,” she shot back, twisting herself out of his grasp and staring him down. “I’m done being your race horse. I’m not going to kill a kid because you promised a bunch of gangsters that you’d do it for them. Settle your debts on your own or get out of town before they toss you into the river.”
“You little, ungrateful bitch! After all I’ve done for you! This is how you repay me?!” She heard him storm after her, and reach for her again.
Sakyia balled up her fist tightly and punched his lower jaw. With a small jolt, Jiro dropped to the ground on his side. She was about to turn away before she spotted the rolled up bills hanging from his pocket. She did not waste any more time. She rifled through his pocket, took the money and his car keys and rushed down the hallway through the exit. She needed to get home.
****
“Ma, Ma! Ma, Pick up!”
Sakyia tapped her mother’s number on her phone once more. Her heart raced thinking of what she might find when she came home. Jiro might be an idiot, but he was right. If the gangsters see that they’re not getting their money tonight, they’ll send a message. What if the man in the suit called his friends to go over to her house? What if they’d taken her mother somewhere? Racing down the street, she nearly screamed from the adrenaline in her body. She had trouble keeping her eyes on the road while dialing and redialing her mother’s number. Every time she heard the ringtone over the speaker, a message came out:
“Hello! This is Tanaka Midori. I am not available right now, but if you leave your name and number, I will call you back-”
“-Why did you get a phone if you won’t answer it when I call you?!” she grunted and tossed her phone into the passenger’s seat.
She kept her eyes peeled on the road for any suspicious cars. Not that she’d be able to tell in the first place. Ending up on her street, she spotted a black car parked outside her house. A thousand horrible scenarios played through her mind as she stepped on the breaks outside. They’d already come. She was too late. She slammed her hands on the wheel angrily, her heart thumping hard in her chest. Quickly, she rushed out of the car, up the steps to their door, and fumbled the keys. She heard people talking on the other side, and she gulped thickly. Her entire body tensed in preparation for a fight. She tried steadying her breathing, but there didn’t seem to be a point anymore.
“Ma! Ma, I’m here!” she called out frantically into the hallway.
But, it was not screams she heard. Nobody had ransacked the house or left any sort of damage behind. She heard people in the living room chatting jovially and laughing. Confusion set in when she walked into the living room to see three people there. Her mother, Midori, sat wearing her silk dressing gown over pink pajamas; her black hair in curlers underneath a matching hair bonnet. On their loveseat sat two men: one older and one younger. The older gentleman wore a tweed gray suit and a gold watch; the younger had black hair cropped over his eyes and wore a dark navy jacket and pants. The elder was talking to her mother, who laughed at something he said. She’d set out her nicest tea set, and a small plate of treats.
Something she only brought out for “important” guests.
“Ma?”
The three people looked over to her. “Ah, there she is! You’re home early. I thought you’d be out much later,” her mother beamed, standing up to greet her. “Oh gosh, look at your face! And your nose!” she gasped and began examining her daughter’s face, “It was already kinda crooked. I hope this doesn’t make it worse. Where’s Jiro?”
“Ma, what’s happening?”
“Good things now,” her mother assured her. “These two gentlemen,” she gestured to the men on the sofa, “Came to see Jiro about the money he owes them.”
“But...What about…” the scene all together made her head hurt. She stared around at them in confusion, trying to make sense of everything. “Those men from today…”
“Don’t worry about them,” said the older gentleman, “Those were some punks we sent to intimidate Jiro. I told your mother we had no idea they would treat her like they did. We’re sorry if they gave you any cause to worry about your mother’s safety or wellbeing.”
She thought she might faint. When she swayed, her mother helped her into a chair. “I’ll go get the kit from upstairs,” her mother said, “If you’ll excuse me…”
“Who...Who are you two?” Sakiya’s questions came out in rapid fire. “Why are you in my house? Why are you here and not at the warehouse where Jiro is?”
“I am Kawata,” the elder man said, shaking hands with her and then sipping from his teacup. “I am a representative of the Ieruma-Kai group. This is Noboru, who is also part of our organization.” He put his cup down and said, “Your stepfather owes our clan a great sum of money. Your fighting tonight was supposed to cover a small part of it-”
“-Did that part involve murdering Yoshi?”
“You killed him?” Noboru looked at her with wide eyes, “You actually killed him?”
It hurt hearing someone say it that way. “I...I didn’t…” the tears suddenly returned, but she fought them away, “I yielded to the fight before anything serious could happen to him. He...He was coughing a lot. He had trouble breathing. I-I-I told him to go outside and get some air. He shouldn’t have been in that place like that. He’s only a kid.”
“Yes, his father mentioned he had asthma,” nodded Kawata. “All the sawdust and dirt must’ve not been easy on his lungs.”
“Why was he there?” Sakyia glared at them.
“Probably to pay off his father’s debts like you,” the man replied. “You know just as well as us how dangerous the fighting pits can be if you’re not careful.”
“He’s a kid. He couldn’t be older than fifteen or sixteen,” she replied.
“The father was too old to fight, and the boy seemed eager to prove himself,” Kawata reasoned. “From what Jiro tells us, you’d been younger than him when you were thrown into the ring.”
“Really?” Noboru asked, eyebrows raised in surprise.
“Oh yes,” Kawata answered, “Sakyia here was-what?-thirteen? Fourteen-years-old?"
"Thirteen, sir."
Sakyia preferred not to think of those days. Like Yoshi, she'd gone into the ring scared and confused. Luckily, some of the older fighters took pity on her. They did not hit as hard, and some gave her tips or tricks she could use. Her father began her training, but when a car accident took his life, those people became her teachers. Jiro saw the potential in her, he claims, and exploited it for his own benefit. Sakyia could not count the number of times she'd fought to earn him money. Not for the family, but for him.
“Since you were thirteen?” Noboru asked. She recognized the pity in his voice, and did not need it. “But…you must’ve been so much smaller than your opponents.”
“Do not be fooled by her size,” Kawata said. “I’ve seen you fight, young lady. My boss calls you ‘the Little Viper’ with those fast jabs of yours.”
She snorted out a laugh. “Yeah, I’ve heard the name thrown around. Jiro said all the great fighters have nicknames,” she rolled her eyes and wiped the side of her mouth with her sleeve. It’d stopped bleeding thankfully. “I always thought it was a silly name.”
“A silly name that gained you a lot of recognition in those warehouses.”
“Oh, I hate that place,” Midori reappeared with the medical kit. She set it on the coffee table, and grabbed disinfectant, “You always come home with these nasty bruises and you’re limping all over the place. It’s not right. I told Jiro over and over that if he wanted to pay off his debts, he should settle it on his own.” Sakyia winced when the small wet cloth touched her cut nose, but her mother kept her still. “I didn’t care if he hit me or not. I didn’t want him throwing you into the fire.”
“And we completely understand,” Kawata said to her. “Sakyia is a very pretty, charming, young woman. She should be out with her friends and going to college.”
“Exactly my point!” Midori agreed. She wiped the dried blood from Sakyia’s face, then continued, “I worried it’d end like this. I worried one day he’d drive you to do something reckless or dangerous that would get someone killed.”
“There was a man there,” Sakyia said to Kawata. “He was wearing a black suit. He had short black hair slicked back from his face. I overheard him talking to Jiro about the fight.”
Kawata thought, then said, “Ah yes, that must’ve been Nikaido. He works with us too. He was there to collect your earnings tonight.” He paused, “Did you run into him?”
“No, I saw him, but we never spoke. So, you’re telling me you didn’t mean for Yoshi to die? That it wasn’t some elaborate way of sending a message or something?”
They both chuckled softly, then Kawata said, “Of course not. If we want to kill someone, we do it ourselves. Whatever happens to Yoshi after tonight is a result of the fighting ring, not us.”
She looked up at her mother. Her headache from all the confusion pulsed in her temples, and she didn’t know what to say. “I...Mama...I’m…”
“I think it’s about time you gentlemen were off,” Midori said to the two men. “My daughter needs rest and I believe our formal business is done.”
Kawata bowed his head, “Yes, ma’am.”
They stood up together and they each thanked her for her hospitality. Kawata told her someone from Ieruma would stop by the salon to check it out, and she led them out. Once they were gone, she returned to Sakyia on the chair. Looking up at her mother, who smiled warmly at her, she sobbed. The tears she’d tried withholding came forth in hard trembles. She leaned forward, her head in her hands as she cried. Her mother gave her a tender pat on the back and stroked her head.
“It’s alright, Blossom,” she said softly, sitting her up and stroking her hair. “You didn’t do anything wrong. Nothing has happened; I’m sure the boy will be alright.”
“I couldn’t do it, Mama. I couldn’t finish the fight,” she took a deep breath, “I thought something awful was going to happen to you.” She blinked the tears from her eyes, until she wiped them with her sleeves.  “The Ieruma men weren’t going to get their money, so I thought they’d come and hurt you. Jiro’s problems have always become our problems, and I’m sick of it. I didn’t care when it was him and me, but the fact that you were going to be dragged into it…”
She sighed sadly, and continued cleaning up Sakyia’s wounds. Smoothing over the cut on her nose, she said, “I hate that it’s become like this. The child protects the parent when it should be the other way around.” She must’ve decided stitches weren’t needed, and began disinfecting the wounds to bandage them, “Jiro is too cowardly to face his own troubles,” she said, “So he threw you in front of them. I should have left him. I should have not let him do what he did, but I...I was weak, Sakyia. I’d just lost your father and we didn’t have the salon yet. We would’ve been homeless if Jiro had not come along. I’d hoped he’d be a proper father figure to you, but I was wrong.” She placed the last plaster on the bridge of her nose and said, “It’s my fault you were there in the first place. I should have fought him harder; I shouldn’t have been so weak. I’m so sorry, Blossom. I’m sorry that I am not your-”
“-Mama,” she took her mother’s shaking hands and squeezed them gently, “Jiro would have done it whether you fought back or not. I don’t...I don’t blame you,” she sniffed back her tears. “I’m so confused,” she admitted, “Everything is happening so fast and I can’t-c-can’t keep up with it.”
“Then don’t say anything else,” she comforted, “You can just listen.” When Sakyia rested her head on her mother’s lap on the couch, Midori began: “When those three punks came up to me today, I knew Jiro was in a bad situation with bad people. I wasn’t surprised, to be honest, since Jiro only ever dealt with shady types. Yet, I noticed one of them was wearing this little golden pin on his jacket. It had a triangle with dragons around it, and I recognized the symbol. The young man who brings Yori- you remember Mrs. Ieurma, right? She’s the lady who used to give you candy when you were little?”
“I remember her.”
“Well, her chauffeur also has that little pin. When I saw her at the salon today, I told her what happened and she was shocked! She said she couldn’t believe her husband would send men to harass a lady, especially a dear friend of hers. If my husband owed money, she said, they should be harassing him. She told me she’d be speaking with him personally about it.”
“That was nice of her to do,” Sakyia said.
“Oh, Yori’s one of my oldest clients. I adore her!” she caught herself before a tangent, and said, “Anyways, she got me in touch with her husband and we talked about it at the salon.”
“You spoke to Tatsumi in person? Isn’t he, like, the boss?”
“Over the phone, yes,” she said, “He explained the entire situation to me. He said it was all business and he didn’t mean to involve us, but that Jiro did owe them a considerable amount.”
“He must know how fond Yori is of you,” Sakyia added, “To change his character so easily.”
“To be honest, it was probably because he knows Jiro wouldn’t care if either of us died,” she shrugged. “I hate to say it so harshly, but family is only a good leverage if the person you're threatening actually cares about them.”
She supposed that made sense. Her mother continued her story, “As I was saying, I spoke with Tatsumi and asked how much Jiro owed him. When I realized how much it was, I knew your earnings alone wouldn’t cover the amount. That’s why Kawata and Noboru came to visit. They came to discuss payment. I give them ownership of the salon; they cut Jiro’s debts in half and only deal with him from now on.”
“Ownership of the salon?!” Sakyia bolted upwards in her seat and looked at her mother in disbelief, “You sold the salon? Ma, that salon is your entire life! You spent years working towards it! It means everything to you, it’s your work! Your life! You can’t just-”
“-I can and I did,” she hushed her daughter gently. “The salon might have been my work, but it was not my life and does not mean everything to me.” She cupped Sakyia’s swollen cheek and looked her in the eyes, “You are, Blossom. If selling the salon meant you did not have to fight anymore, then it was worth it to me. I can rebuild a salon, but I can’t rebuild a daughter.” She gently kissed Sakyia’s forehead and hugged her close. “Tatsumi agreed to the deal and Kawata came to finalize the papers.”
“What are you going to do for work, Ma?”
“I don’t know,” she shrugged. “We can’t afford to stay here, so we’ll have to move somewhere else. But, we’ll talk about that tomorrow.” She gazed over her daughter’s face, taking in each feature and comparing them to her father. Sakyia looked like him in certain lights. “This can be a new start for the both of us; you and me,” her eyes glazed over with tears, “The way it should have been the whole time.”
“Ah, Ma…”
Midori kissed her head again, then made her eat. Sakyia didn't realize how much everything hurt until she relaxed. She swore she felt her entire body throbbing all at once everywhere. She winced when she finally stood up, feeling the fight in her muscles. She made her way upstairs, where her mother prepared a hot bath, and she sunk into it slowly.  As the soothing water worked on her sore muscles, she knew one thing for certain: her mother would be safe now. Midori wouldn’t have to worry about Sakyia being injured or Jiro’s furious hits. She could focus on more important things. Sakyia considered what she might do now that she had no warehouse fights. Thinking of the future felt better than remembering the boy she’d fought tonight. Her mother would tell her to go to university, but she felt too old for that now.
Maybe she’ll know when she finally gets to wherever they’re going.
****
Their landlord gave them a month to leave the house. Midori told her that Sakyia’s aunt, Hana, had an extra room above her shop where they could stay until they got back on their feet. Sakyia remembered her aunt, a round-faced woman with coarse black hair, and felt thankful to be moving in with someone familiar. Hana joked that now they’d have someone to protect them if a robber came into the apartment.
However, remembering the shabby apartment, she doubted there’d be any burglars to worry about. Her aunt lived in a town called Sannoh which was outside their district. Her mother had grown up here, she knew. It was a small place with local businesses and friendly neighbors. As they drove through, she saw the kids playing in the street, the vendors haggling with customers at their shops, and people walking or bike riding. It seemed like such a simple place. It looked quiet and peaceful.
“Is there no post office?” Sakyia asked as they drove down the street. “I’m sure people can mail things to each other.”
“It’s an inner-district delivery service,” her mother answered. “Sometimes people need things delivered quickly and the post office doesn’t always work that way.”
“Like what?”
She hesitated, as they turned a corner, “Just things, Blossom. Nothing you need to worry about. You’ll be helping me in the salon, remember?”
“What salon?”
“Hana says our friend Sungmi is going back to Korea,” she said, “And is selling her salon.”
“Ma, you don’t have money to buy a salon. We don’t even have our own place to live yet.”
“Hey, who is the parent here, huh?” Midori laughed. “You worry about things too much, Sakyia. I’ve known Sungmi since we were in beauty school, and she said she’ll keep ownership until I’m able to pay to buy her out.” She squeezed Sakyia’s leg, “Don’t you worry, little blossom. Mama’s got this all taken care of. You and I are gonna get through this together, okay?”
Sakyia smiled. She’d spent most of her time relaxing her worn out body. It felt weird not doing anything besides training in their garage. Looking at the sketch book in her lap, she’d gone back to art like she’d done as a kid. On the page, she’d drawn a stocky man punching a large punching bag. He had a straight jawline like hers; his broad build was all muscle. She added a few strays in his black hair, and added shade to his wrapped hands. Her mind often drifted to her father in times like these, when the world felt so uncertain. She traced out the shadows of his crooked nose, which had been narrow before being broken in several fights. He’d been the strong one out of the three of them.
Then the accident happened. The weight then fell on her shoulders, because Jiro weakened her mother so significantly.
“We’re here now.”
She looked out the window to see a small storefront on the side of the road. On a faded sign above the windows, someone painted the words: “Kimura Delivery Service: Stamped, Sealed, Delivered.”
“Stamped?”
Midori chuckled, “That was from when it first opened. Your grandfather used to have this little stamp to verify packages. Now, your aunt prints a label. But, the sign meant a lot to your grandfather, so she promised she’d never change it.” Then she added, “Also, new signs cost a fortune.”
Sakyia was sure the business did not have money for anything new. Through the wide windows, she saw her aunt already standing at a counter beside a register. A young man in a red jacket stood scribbling down on a piece of paper in front of her, both chatting. She also noticed the ‘Help Wanted” sign in the corner of the window. How much business could this place be getting that she needed more help? Sakyia and her mother then stepped out of the car. Their appearance made Hana look out the window, and she smiled widely and waved. The young man noticed her waving and turned around. He was short, maybe two or three inches taller than her, with blond hair he kept parted to the side. He looked at Sakyia curiously, most likely trying to remember if he recognized her. Sakyia knew she’d never seen him before.
“Midori!” Hana cheered as they walked into the store. She moved around the counter and the sisters hugged tightly. “I thought you’d be coming in the afternoon! I would’ve closed up the office early!”
“Sakyia stayed up to pack the rest of our things,” she told her as they released each other. “And the movers put our furniture into storage yesterday.”
“We didn’t have much to begin with,” said Sakyia, shouldering her backpack. “Hello, Auntie.”
“Ah! There she is!” Hana embraced her, “My favorite niece! Oh, look how big you’ve gotten!” She moved away to take a look at Sakyia, “Good lord, girl, you’re so skinny. What has your mother been feeding you? Grass?”
Sakyia did not have the heart to tell her about the strict diet Jiro kept her on before his ‘disappearance’. She’d thought she might gain some from stuffing her face the past few weeks, but nothing goes past her Auntie Hana. She noticed the man behind them leaning against the counter, looking at them with interest. Sakyia could not get a read on him, and that bothered her.
“I tell her all that training burns off anything she eats,” her mother lied immediately, “But now that you’re here, I’m sure she’s going to be eating tons.”
“Of course!” Hana exclaimed, “A few days here, and you’ll be all rounded out.”
The young man coughed into his fist for her attention, and Hana whipped around. “Oh gosh, Junpei,” she said, coming back to the counter, “Forgive me. You finished the label?”
“It’s alright, Ms. Kimura,” he replied, “I already sealed it there for you.”
“Excellent,” she said, smoothing out the printed label he’d signed. “Ah, Junpei, this is my sister, Midori, and her daughter, Sakyia. They’re moving into the apartment upstairs. Midori, Sakyia, this is Junpei. He’s one of my more frequent customers.” She took his payment from the counter, entered it, and gave him change.
“It’s nice to meet you,” he said, bowing his head to them both. “Welcome to Sannoh.“
Despite his baby face, Sakyia recognized his kind right away. The gangster types who frequented the warehouses and clubs around the bayside of the city carried the same similar shadiness about them. Sakyia saw them all the time growing up: they’d be the ones placing bets, taking bets, and on the sidelines with their fighters or participating in the fights. She wondered if he’d ever gone there. The bay district might be too far for him. She stepped closer to her mother.
“You must need a lot of packages delivered quickly to be considered a regular here,” Sakyia said curiously.
“A lot of people in Sannoh use your aunt’s business,” he replied innocently. “Not everyone is able to go outside town to get packages delivered and going through post offices takes longer.”
“I can’t promise it’ll get to your friend by tomorrow,” Hana cut in. “I haven’t found a courier since Koichi quit.”
“That’s fine,” Junpei told her. “I just need it there as soon as possible."
"I understand," Hana nodded. She struggled to put the parcel on the tall stack of boxes until Junpei came and helped her. “Oh, thank you, sweetheart. I’m going to be buried in these boxes at this rate.”
“I can always have one of the gang come help you,” he said. “Chiharu and Dan would be glad to help.”
“I’d appreciate that,” she smiled. “Tell them I’ll pay them well for it. If they don’t get lost, that is.”
“Dan only got lost once,” Junpei defended gently.
“Twice.”
“Alright, yes, twice. I’ll let them know and send them here.”
“Such a sweet boy,” she patted his cheek tenderly. “You take care of yourself now, and wear a helmet when you ride that thing,” she nodded to the motorcycle outside. “You could get in an accident and crack your head open.”
Junpei nodded, “I will, Ms. Kimura.” He turned over to Midori and Sakyia, and nodded again, “It was nice meeting you both.” He looked right at Sakyia as he said, “I’ll see you around.”
He reminded her of those dreamy characters in manga. The tsundere characters with kind hearts who sport leather jackets and ride motorcycles. They pretend not to care, but they care very deeply. She admitted he was handsome. Even a blind person would think he was handsome. But, something about him kept her distance, but then again, she kept everyone at a distance.
Except her mother.
Sakyia looked back to her aunt and her mother, who’d begun catching up while her aunt shut down the store for the day. She decided she’d make her way up to the apartment and begin unpacking her things. Junpei came to mind. If he was what she thought he was, then Sannoh might be more dangerous than it seemed. Sakyia remembered the gangs who’d come strutting into the warehouse; Jiro usually owed them money, so she’d become good at spotting them. They either wore flashy clothes, business suits or leather jackets. Junpei was clearly the ‘leather jacket’ kind.
She’d need to keep an eye out for him.

You get up and walk over to him " Would you like to dance, mr. Junpei ? " you smile. Cobra takes your hand, smiling to himself.

If it's okay, could shy gn!autistic reader be trying their best to befriend Usagi, Ami, Rei, Makoto and Minako from Sailor Moon? The Cardcaptor Sakura one was so cute I would love to see one of Sailor Moon. I hope you are doing well 💗
Shy autistic!reader trying to befriend the Sailor Scouts
Tumblr media
[ PLATONIC HEADCANONS ] [ Usagi, Amy, Rei, Makoto & Minako ]
[ Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon / Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon ]
Tumblr media
I had a lot of fun while thinking in it! I really really love Sailor Moon!! 💕
I am actually having some troubles in my personal life but write makes me feel better so thank you for requesting it dear :D
Tumblr media
Usagi was the one who approach to every single one of them, so is probably that she was the one who approach to you first too
You just have to take her interest for her to try to meet you, and that isn't exactly difficult, maybe she finds your shyness cute, maybe she notice you diferent behavior and get curious, having good grades work too
Usagi is really friendly and carefree but is also clingy and loud so you could get easily overwhelmed by her behavior, if you try and avoid her that will just make her more curious and will try different approaches
At the end will be with the help of the others that they could finally approach you and try to befriend
But in the case that you are already friends with one of them things would be a little different
If you are already friends with Amy she will make sure to be careful when introducing the two of you, she cares a lot about you (specially for being her first friend) and the last thing she wants is to upset you, also she will tell Usagi about your autism (with your permission of course)
Since Rei didn't had friends either you would be her first friend and will make her get pretty protective over you, it will take a while for her to let you two meet, and, in her own way, she will tell Usagi about your autism and needs (at first is more like a threaten to don't upset you)
With Makoto is a little different, since she is new in the city she didn't know much about you, unless you two already know each other, either way she is observant and protective so whenever she sees you upset she will try to help you out (even more if she already know about your autism)
And with Minako will be more easy to be introduced to the others, she have a similar personality with Usagi so that will help a lot, and since she already know that she have to search for Usagi (and the other sailor scouts) she will give you hints about having to meet other people
No matter the way you ended up meeting them, all will be happy to became your friend, and, even if you don't really want to talk about it they will know about your autism (Amy has a lot of knowledge about medicine so she will be able to found out)
They will try to learn as much as possible to be able to help you and make you comfortable, mostly Amy, Rei and Makoto since Usagi and Mina get distracted easily and don't like to study
They will never force you to talk about it if you don't want to, but if you do it they will hear you carefuly and with a lot of respect. They will like to know what you don't like or what hurt to be able to help you avoid it
Also they will be patient with you, changes could be difficult and they will let you take all the time you need to feel more comfortable around them
They don't mind your shyness, actually Usagi, Mina and Makoto find it really really cute! (they are always giving you compliments), and you can relay on them for help, Rei is quick to stand up for you if it need it, followed by Mina and Makoto (but they could be very dramatic with it)
Whenever you don't understand something Amy is ready to help you with it (she loves being able to do that), and if you feel bad about needing help Usagi will comfort you saying that there are a lot of things she don't understand either
If you have sensory issues they will always take them in consideration, and if you ever go non-verbal or semi-verbal they will find other ways for you to communicate, you can write it down or they could learn sign language (at least one of them)
if you like hugs (maybe for preassure stim) they will always be up for a hug, Usagi is pretty clingy so she will hug you every chance she have, while Amy and Rei will be more shy about it, but they don't mind too much. In the other hand, if you don't like to be touched they will respect it and don't touch you without asking for permition first (even small touches like holding hands)
If you like to pet Luna and/or Artemis for comfort, stim or even just because they are cute they will feel honor and let you do it whenever you want, even laying in your lap to have all your attention (one of the girls will have to remember them that they have work to do or else they will just forgot about everything else)
With time they ended up telling you their secret about being Magical Girls since sometimes they have to run to atent their work out of the blue or the danger they have to encounter, and they don't want you to think something like they don't like you
There are a lot of autistic people who try to act normal for different reasons, either to avoid being made fun of or for not being a nuisance (what actually is not true) so if you ever do that they will be mixed feelings between saddnes and anger (against whoever makes you thing that you have to do that), and, in the moment they realice you are doing it they are quickly to comfort you, saying that you are perfectly fine the way you are and you don't have to try to be someone/something else
And it come the same if you ever feel like you aren't a good friend either for your autism or shyness, they won't let you continue thinking like that because is not true (is heartbreaking knowing that you thing that)

How would the Shishigumi react to meeting thier significant others family for the holidays? Well might as well write a headcanon about it! ( I also included Louis) Enjoy!
Meeting your family for the holidays
Ibuki
Just thinking about meeting your family makes him nervous.
He'll probably bring a gift for your parents as to make a good first impression.
Hell definitely dress nicely for the occasion and will clip his nails as short as possible.
When you get their he's very tense and nervous and trys to hide it.
Once he starts talking with your family he becomes much more calm and happy.
You're family will be all over him and ask many questions that you might have to help Ibuki with.
You might have to remind him of everyone's names and who people are too.
Free
He's very nervous, and trys his hardest to avoid going entirely.
Hell try making excuses like, "I'm not feeling great babe" or "I've got a work thing tonight".
Once you convince him to go he'll try to dress nicely but you might have to help him out a bit.
When you arrive Free's much more nervous than before but your family will be very welcoming of him.
He'll be very talkative and your family will love him almost as much as you do.
He quickly becomes the star of the show.
Dolph
He isn't nervous about meeting your family but he definitely is thinking about it a lot.
He doesn't want to mess this up because your so important to him.
He'll probably bring a bottle of wine for the dinner (preferably red wine).
Some of his family may ask about his scar wh ih can make him feel a bit self conscious.
You might have to help him deflect there questions.
Agata
He's nervous with out a doubt and has a hard time hiding it from you.
He'll over think a lot so you'll definitely have to reassure him He'll be okay.
Once you get their he's still very nervous and when he starts talking to your family he's still a bit nervous.
You might have to do a little more talking for him than when your family asks questions.
Miguel
He tries to not stress himself or you out when getting ready to meet your family by not thinking about it too much.
Like most lions he prides himself on his mane and makes it very nice for the dinner
When you get their Miguel introduces himself to everyone.
The more he talks to your family the more he gets nervous but is very good at hiding it.
During th dinner he might be shaking his foot due to his nerves.
You might have to take him out for a bit of a break here and there.
Sabu
He's quite nervous about meeting g your family mainly due to his bandana.
He tries his best to remember everyone's names before getting to your family's place.
When you do arrive you Sabu tries to talk a lot with your family to get to know them.
He does get a few questions from your family about his bandana to which he tries his best to avoid.
If your family member is a bit pushy about the bandana you might have to step in.
Jinma
He's more excited than nervous when thinking about meeting your family.
He decides to bring gifts for your family as to show that he cares about this very much.
He doesn't really have any reason to be nervous.
When you get their Jinma tries to at least talk to everyone their once or twice.
He also helps set up the table.
Dope
He tries to keep his feelings of nervousness under control and is pretty successful.
He does talk to you about these feelings and confronts them head on with you.
When you arrive at your family's place Dope tries to help your family with the dinner
Whether its cooking, cleaning, setting up the table, he would help with anything.
Like Sabu He does get a lot of questions about his scar but is able to easily deflect them.
Hino
Unlike most of the Shishigumi hes not nervous at all.
He makes himself as presentable as possible which doesn't take him very long due to his already great looks.
When you get their your family will be astonished by his looks.
Because he uses his social skills so much for work your family will love him instantly.
Your family will definitely want to take as many photos of him as they can.
They'll definitely compare Hinos looks to celebritys.
Louis
He be a bit nervous but he'll be able to deal with it much better than others.
Like Ibuki he'll bring a gift for your family and expect it to be quite fancy.
Because of his well known status your family will be all over him and ask many questions.
He'll be very polite and courteous when talking with your family.
He'll really enjoy meeting your family and even tell you so.

Note
Do you have any headcanons on the Shishigumi's reactions to their S/O resting their head on the lion's chest while they relax/sleep?
Bonus: Chief Lion
-Maeve
Ibuki
Just smiles to himself, and takes the opportunity to savor the moment
He may gently run his claws through your fur/hair
Ibuki is flattered you trust him enough to fall asleep on him
Free
Doesn't notice at first
When he does, he silently promises not to move and wake you up
You're so cute...if his phone is close he'll take a picture of you
He enjoys enjoys having you so close to his heart
Dolph
"Asleep, huh?"
He summarizes that he must be comfortable, and just relaxes.
He will probably fall asleep too, but tries to stay up a bit just to look at your sleeping face
Agata
Is secretly thrilled
It's such a domestic and loving thing to do, he cant help but feel lucky to have you
He probably falls asleep quickly after
Miguel
Smiles
If you're not already in bed, he'll carry you there so you're more comfortable and he can hold you easier
He's just happy that you're relaxed enough to fall asleep
Dope
Stays where he is, so he doesn't wake you
Whatever project he may have can wait in favor of being with you
As a feline, he easily can sleep most places, so he probably naps with you
Jinma
Doesn't realize at first, and most likely finishes saying whatever he was saying before he notices you
He just smiles
Jinma is really happy that you're comfortable, and if laying on him helps relax you, he should do it more often
Sabu
He's rather thin, so he's a bit surprised you fell asleep
Knowing you're okay to sleep on him is so soothing in itself, that he's at peace.
He doesn't want the moment to end
Hino
Isn't surprised you're asleep on him. He uses expensive products to make sure he's as soft and well kept at possible.
He snuggles you as close as possible, and falls asleep with you
Chief Lion
One of the rare times that he softens up and relaxes
He just strokes your head, and holds you closer
You might be his weakness, just don't tell his subordinates.

Shishigumi + Chief Lion with a friendly Sheep S/O
In general, all the lions are gonna be very protective over you. You’re a beautiful small animal that’s friendly to almost everybody. They know the danger that lurks out there and they’re not letting anyone or thing hurt you or take advantage of you.
Chief lion
• Always armed when he’s with you, doesn’t wanna risk anything happening, but let's be honest, he doesn’t need a weapon to get the point across
• If he’s not present with you, he sends one of the other members to watch you
• Loves leaving his scent, knowing you won’t stop your kind tendencies, he might as well let them smell the danger that lurks if anyone gets any ideas with you
Ibuki
• Always worried about you getting yourself into trouble with the wrong animal, so whenever he has time he spends it with you (but when he’s away he sends someone to watch you too)
• Tries to convince you to move to a place closer to the hideout in case an emergency comes up
• Very gentle with you and loves your kindness, he appreciates how you can see the good in people even though he’s exposed you to many dark things he deals with at work
Free
• Jealous and protective king here. He only wants your attention, but your kindness to everyone makes him a little more jealous than he likes to admit.
• Loves how warm your coat gets, he’s always touching it somehow or tries to style it for you
• Won’t hesitate to rip some poor animal's throat if he feels that your kindness is being taken advantage of
Dolph
• Confused as to why you wanted him. You two look like polar opposites. Big serious lion and small friendly sheep. It works out though, he’s very grateful for being looked at in a different light
• Cuddle monster. He loves feeling your coat up against him and the warmth you give. It’s also a great excuse for him to mark you.
• He always sends Agata to watch you if he can’t be near you, he would like for the two of you to get along so you can be at the hideout more often to hang with either him or Agata
Agata
• Sweetheart loves holding your tiny hands, it adds more that behind that hand there’s a sweet animal that he was able to score
• Since he’s still young and a bit naive, your kindness is a breath of fresh air for him, he’s much more relaxed around you. But he does worry that you might get taken advantage of by others
• Loves to lay his head on your thighs, apart from being warm, your soft coat adds a little more umph to it. Wear shorts and he’ll be all over you and your legs.
Miguel
• Was a little scared that you even liked him, he’s arguably the biggest and strongest of the gang. Being with a sheep wasn’t exactly what he pictured, but he loves you very much.
• Both of you are heat radiators in your own way, sleeping might be a little complicated. But Miguel likes pulling you on top of him so that both of you are chest to chest, he loves falling asleep looking at your face
• You can bet no one's gonna mess with you once they see who your dating, and Miguel makes it very clear to everyone that stares
Sabu
• Mini mohawk with your coat, he likes styling it in funny ways or just to match with him. The rest of the Shishigumi were in awe when they walked in on him doing your hair
• When he gets sleepy, he starts doing biscuits on your stomach or wherever he has his hands on. He’s tired and he just wants to relax after a long day.
• He’s skinny, so he loves when you two cuddle and he gets to be near your warm coat. Jokes he’ll make a jacket out of your sheddings (he would)
Jinma
• If your coat gets a little long or if you shed a lot, he puts all of that on his head to pretend he has a mane to be silly
• Often likes to place his hands on the top of your head, it's fluffy and near the face he loves. He might even start making biscuits if he’s distracted
• He appreciates how kind you can be and is one of the many aspects he really loves about you. But he’s not scared to pull a few strings to destroy someone's life if anyone chooses to take advantage of your kindness
Dope
• He appreciates your kindness and sympathizes with you a lot. As the expert of negotiations he often has to be nice to even the most horrible people
• Swoons you pretty quickly, he couldn’t pass up your genuineness. He keeps you around the hideout a lot
Hino
• Might try to get your help with certain things he does, it's an excuse to keep you around more and sometimes he does need the extra help when talking with others
• Does not care when, who or what happens. He’s gonna lay on you in some way when you're together and hope he gets some sleep. All of the Shishigumi have found you crushed under your sleepy lion
• Likes going out and choosing things to go with your coat (like Sheila and Peach) spoils you a bunch b/c your coat matches a lot of things
• He’s gonna make a blanket out of you, so you better start saving your sheds

Hello. Since you're writing about Sailor Moon, how Rei, Ami, Minako and Makoto would react on the fact that their S/O is actually a monster (youma or something like that), who prefer to coexist with humans and study them instead of following their masters orders?
Warnings: Angst, Lying to a Partner, Implied Betrayal, Angst with a Happy Ending, Canon Typical Violence
Rei Hino:
It’s going to take a lot for Rei to forgive you. She’s furious that you would hide something this big from her and is half convinced you’ve been dating her just to get close to the other scouts. You assure her that it’s not the case and if you beg a little she’s more likely to take pity on you.
After she gets time to cool down and think, there’s going to be a lot of words exchanged. Rei doesn’t want to break up but she’s nervous about letting things progress. Assure her that you still care about her and bring some treats as a bribe and it’ll end on a positive note.
Things move slowly after you tell Rei that you’re a youma. The two of you still go on dates but it takes a couple of months for things to go back to normal 100%. Rei does her best to not make a big deal out of it but sometimes it’s hard. Be patient with her but also make sure to stand up for yourself; sometimes she needs to be reminded that you do care for her.
Ami Mizuno:
Ami is the one to take reveling that you’re a youma the best. She’s not happy, don’t get her wrong, but she understands why you hadn’t been willing to talk to her about it. She still feels the sting of betrayal but she’s more willing to hear your side of the story.
She finds it endearing that you want to coexist with humans. She likes the idea that you just want to live in harmony with everyone; that’s what she wants too. Ami wants to have a serious discussion about your relationship and what you want out of it but mostly she’s happy that you’re not evil.
Nothing changes except that she worries sometimes about you being found out. Right now you’re considered a rouge agent and she never wants you to get hurt by associating with her. Ami does her best to keep you away from the fighting and you support her as much as you can.
Minako Aino:
Minako is the one who takes the news best after Ami. She believes that you would never hurt her but she is worried about the other scouts. It’s a tougher battle to get her to acknowledge that you aren’t going to put anyone at risk by being together. Communication between the two of you is spotty, with Minako trying to figure out her emotions.
Things are rocky until the scouts get attacked and you save them. The blatant way that you defend them and ignore the direct orders you’re given convince everyone that you’re serious about Minako and your words. You get hurt saving them and no one can try to say you’re not on their side.
Minako is taking care of you as you recover, showering you with affection and love. There are private conversations that happen when no one else is there but her public persona is on when you have company. She feels guilty that she didn’t believe you, even if you understand. Just let her pamper you a little bit and all will be well.
Makoto Kino:
She torn between being furious and taken advantage of, settling for somewhere in the middle with a wounded puppy dog look. It’s not great to upset Makoto, mostly because she tends to internalize it. Not that anyone would guess but after dating her for so long, you’ve been able to figure out the signs.
She won’t know what to do if you approach her so let her process things in her own time. Makoto has complicated feelings about you hiding yourself but she also understands on some level. You know that everything is going to be ok when she bursts into your house a week later, panting as if she’s just run a marathon. She’ll declare that she forgives you and then everything is pretty much back to normal.
Makoto will defend you if people try to bring up that you tried to betray her. She gets annoyed that people want to bring it up, the past is the past. You never betrayed her and she knows that you’re not going to.  It’s flattering to have her in your corner and you could watch her defend you forever.
