Can Doc explode? I am asking since Creeper biology has a literal block of tnt in it and Doc clearly has stuff in his body that could possibly block whatever allows a Creeper to light the block of tnt. And if he can does his cybernetics cause shrapnel when he explodes?

If Doc chose to produce more gunpowder he could! But deaths by explosions are already annoying as is, so it’s best to limit the chances happening as a creeper moblin.

But creepers, moblins and the mobs themselves, don’t actually have a whole thing of tnt in them, it’s like those medical diagrams for kids where they show a loveheart in place of what an actual heart looks like. Just gives a simpler understanding of what’s going on. Because they more so just produce the needed components for tnt within themselves that, upon needing so, they are able to detonate.

To make my creeper lore ides real quick here, because they were originally made in the desert, their bones were more or less made of sandstone (that was centuries ago, they evolve and gain life in nature bla bla bla, creepers develop stronger bones but they still share compounds with sand that’s what’s important here, I’m keeping the lore short for now). The reason they produce gunpowder/sulphurs is part in them eating rocks/coals/charcoals/ really anything, and part in how their body processes it. They will grind down rocks and all that for the sake of needed intake, and because it helps grind down their teeth so they don’t get too sharp. So creepers will just have all the explosive buildup needed for when they explode!

Doc, and a lot of older creeper moblins, just doesn’t have the same habit to munch on the stuff that’s needed to produce gunpowder(they’ll still grind their teeth on rocks every now and then don’t get me wrong, those things will get Sharp if one didn’t). But because a lot of older creeper moblins produce less gunpowder they are more likely to grow flowers on themselves! It’s a symbol of peacefulness to some and maturity to others, a lot of times it’s a show of safety. The symbolism behind it is a bit of a lost thing though, it’s not much of a important thing in more modern area’s with the moblins. Doc used to just pluck off a lot of the flowers he’d grow partly to keep up a ‘bad guy’ persona, expecily during the hippies vs area77 era. Nowadays he just kinda leaves em, Gem, Ren and Grian found em cute and he got lazy having to pluck em all off (it’s just a lot like shaving, a constant struggle really)

prank war - grian and mumbo on the same side but scar was neutral party benefiting from the war

area77 - the hippies vs scar and doc, mumbo wasn’t involved

season 7:

mayoral race - grian was mumbo’s campaign manager and scar was running for mayor

mycelium resistance - grian vs scar, who recruited mumbo to help find the resistance base

season 8 had the boatem vs big eye crew prank war but I don’t recall the three of them ever working on a prank together… so that one’s kind of a technicality thing???

and now we have the buttercups vs doc and the three of them are all on the same side and 🥺🥺🥺 theY BUILT A CAMP TOGETHER. SCAR PUT A HOTGUY POSTER IN GRIAN’S TENT. THEY WERE COMPLIMENTING MUMBO’S TENT!!!

I was really hoping mumbo was going to get pulled in and I am SO happy grian and scar got him 🥺 this is definitely going to spawn some drabbles from me because rn all I can think about is the three of them spending time together at their camp and maybe even laying under the stars and !!!!!!!!!

did you receive it? I put in a couple paragraphs about S6 Civil War, Hippies vs. Area77, S7 Mycelium Resistance, S8 Boatem vs Octagon, and S9 Renking vs Soup Group, Perimeter’s independence, Grian’s Resistance Assistance, and the prank war between the Buttercups and Doc & Ren

I don’t know if the form sent all of my propaganda because it said there was an ‘updated version’ which was very much NOT updated.

I checked the form and it does not seem to be in there!

Do you have any idea what time you submitted it, so I can just double check?

Hello Internet, welcome to GAME THEORY!

As you all may know, Grian recently started one giant EVO Reference: Let's make an unsuspecting victim mayor for no reason other than my own amusement.

However, Mumbo isn't actually mayor yet. So that begs the question, if Mumbo doesn't become mayor, who will be?

We can do this pretty easily through process of elimination.

Immediately, we can get rid of Grian as he's the one setting it off. That leaves us with 22 hermits. Next, as much as it pains me to do it. I reckon we can also take anyone with under 300K out. Although I love my smaller-subbed squad, they usually don't end up taking main roles in the server. If anything, I'd say the people who end up taking main roles in the server are DocM, Ren, the Architechs, the Convex and sometimes but not always Tango, Xisuma, Impulse, False, Keralis and Bdubs. So the hermits with under 300K at the time of me writing this and are out are Stress, TFC, XBCrafted, Zedaph and Zombie Cleo. Joe Hills is also in this club but he's got such a good case I have to make an exception for him.

You see, Joe Hills goes about Hermitcraft pretty uniquely. As you may know, Joe Hills has sworn off diamonds for the season due to his belief, 'whenever he carries diamonds, something goes wrong.' This means he can't be bribed with them. It also means he'll probably burn all the diamonds on the podium while I'd personally love to see because it will be funny. Not only this, but he's been trying to keep infrastructure since the very start. He was the first to try and establish roads, so if Joe becomes mayor, the 'places with inconsistent or sometimes no roads,' will hopefully become consistent with their roads. Also, Joe always naturally puts the community before himself. So many of his builds in season 6, (the ministry of truth, the community brewing stand, ect) were community focussed and not personal use only. This pattern continues into season 7 where the first thing he did was set up boats and basic, early game starter loot on the spawn island. A few episodes later and he makes sure the nether portal there is safe from ghasts. Personally, Joe would be my pick. Yes, he's anti-diamonds. But I highly doubt he'll force that economic system on the whole district, right?

But let's backtrack a second. What about that list from earlier? "I'd say the people who end up taking main roles in the server are DocM, Ren, the Architechs, the Convex-" perhaps this could help us find an idea of whom it may be? We can already substitute 'the Architechs' with Mumbo and Iskall as Grian is confirmed to not be doing it. I feel like we may also be able to knock the Convex out too. Scar because he's helping to build the Town Hall and, I mean come on, who would vote for a wizard who sells coloured glass and claims it to give you magic powers? He doesn't even wear pants! I feel like we can also knock Cubfan out too as he's more or less settled into the roll of a newspaper boy with Cleo. That's a big job so his hands are pretty full.

So this leaves us with Mumbo, Iskall, DocM and Ren. As much as I'd love to see DocM become mayor, I feel like the Goatfather may already have his hands full. But Ren on the other hand, would be an interesting case. Remember when he took to doping before a wrestling match? What if that comes back to bite him whole he's mayor and everyone has a revolution? That seems like a Rendog plot to do. Not only that, but he's also used to working in a leadership setting. (Ahem, Bob the accountant.) Speaking of Bob the accountant, perhaps he could get all his alts to 'help him with his mayor duties.' However, he may also have his hands full with dead cow and necromantic magic.

However, I feel like Iskall would also be a good candidate for mayor. Perhaps a 'El Mayore Iskall' plot mark 2? Hermitcraft is no stranger to referencing past seasons, whether it be the return of Concorp, NHO Reunions, Xisuma referencing Logfellas at one point, Tag 2 electric boogaloo, ect. Not only this, but Iskall is also within Grian's inner circle.

'But TomPat! What is 'Grian's inner circle?'" I hear you ask. Grian's inner circle is an unwritten pattern that played out throughout season 6.

Here's what it stated:

"All server wide events have to either be started or won by Grian or someone within his inner circle."

I first saw it noticed by ZloyXP so I give him the credit for this.

Each server wide event in season 6 was either started or won by Grian or a close friend of Grian.

Tag? Started by Grian.

Grian head hunt? Started by Grian.

Prank war? Arguably started by Grian.

Civil War? Won by Grian's team.

Jangler Mystery? Solved by Grian.

Sahara VS Concorp? Won by Architects.

Buildoff? All tied with Grian.

Hermitland? Started by Grian.

Area77 Vs Hippies? Won by Grian and Co.

Demise? Started by Grian, won by someone in the inner circle.

(This is why if you only have time to watch one hermit for season 6, Grian is the safest option. You don't really miss anything.) Thankfully, this seems to be changing for season 7 with The Goatfather arc, Ren's Star Wars arc, The Hermit Wrestling arc, ect.

But who's in the inner circle? It can vary between person to person. But personally, I'd say the people in the inner circle are Grian, (obviously,) Mumbo and Iskall for Season 6 with Scar joining for Season 7. And this is why I'd say Mumbo or Iskall have the best chance of winning.

I'd say Iskall has the better chance of winning. I have no evidence why, it's just a hunch.

But that's just a theory, a GAME THEORY.

A thing I like about Hermitcraft is that in a way it’s its own story. In a REALLY unconventional way, it is.

At the beginning Grian started out as this new guy trying to figure the whole SMP-in-an-updated-version thing out, and then he got more confident and became a chicken-themed anti hero, started shops and then went from broke to entrepreneur.

Iskall went from the ragtag hitman dude who was scary with a sword to a clever businessman and discovering how to do more redstone than the side stuff he had done before.

Ren was kind of a grindy player with Big Logz and Big Rocks but he found how to do these crazy big projects and channel his infinite patience to beautiful projects and storytelling.

Even the new guys with Bdubs and Keralis, Bdubs started what I felt was a little bit of a (joking) bully but quickly got himself figured out with the softhearted Keralis, who in turn picked up a mischievous side in RUN and small pranks.

Yes there are the big stories such as the Civil War or ConCorp or Area77 vs the hippies. I know that most of these “character developments” and passive storytellings are just evolutions of how the Let’s Plays go and none (well, almost) of it is intentional from the hermits themselves. But as a fanfic writer and thinking from the perspective of being in the story universe instead of outside it, to see how they were at the beginning compared to now is not only a HUGE nostalgia trip, but serious development as well. Kinda like looking back at some big epic Lord of the Rings kind of feel with the scope of it all.
