In Digimon Tamers, entering into the Digital World is different from Digimon Adventure series. The portal leads to the dimension full of numbers and mathematical symbols. The math dimension is too bright for any human that they have to use their goggles or sunglasses to protect their eyes. Since the dimension is too bright for Juri/Jeri, Hirokazu/Kazu and Kenta, the two tamers - Ruki/Rika and Takato help their friends to move through the math dimension.

Full confession: It's okay to not enjoy Kenta and Kazu, but you cannot say they were worthless. They saved the day several times. Kazu gave Takato the training grips that defeated Gorilliamon. Kazu drew the blue card that Takato used - True we find out later that they have the power to get blue cards, but we don't know that yet, and Takato might not have realized it without it. They both helped hide Guilmon on the school trip, and Kenta's Marineangimon saved Takato in the D-Reaper bubble with D-Reaper Juri, AND in the last episode they all lost their forms in the bubble (Not to meantion Terriermon who was semi stuck) and Marineangimon helped them all get out! It's okay to not like them, but they absolutely did things.

Here is part two of the au, Which for now I am calling Digimon tamers: purple edition.

Jeri and Marineangemon

- Adorable character plus adorable Digimon, why not.

-Unfortunately Marineangemon gets the death treatment, sorry marineangemon fans.

- They bond a lot faster then her and Leomon do so the episode where she first meets him is just them playing around with one another.

-I think keeping them at marine angemon is fine but if we want to, we could make them Dolphmon or Dracmon or any fitting champion level to match Leomon.

Kazu and Leomon

-First appears as Grapleomon replacing Andromon in try to fight Orochimon but turns to Leomon later on

-Leomon gets to live in this, good for him.

-Often tried of Kazu’s antics but roles with it anyway cause if he doesn’t Kazu is likely going to get himself killed.

-Kazu believes he has the most badass Digimon out there and won’t shut up about it.

- If Kazu biomerged with Leomon, They would become bancholeomon

Kenta and Guardromon

- Appears as a banchomamemon as it fits the whole cute but strong angle

- When he first meets the Jeri clone he automatically strikes her like a baseball

-Kenta tries to lift him up but fails.

Ai/Mako and Guilmon

- In this au they are the ones to design Guilmon in this

- In this au they’re takato’s cousins that are staying with him, so they get tangled up in the whole Digimon debacle a lot sooner.

- They get frustrated at him in a similar way Takato does at Guilmon in the earlier episodes which causes a wedge between them. They kinda babysit him and get frustrated when he gets too far away and got injured in a fight. Guilmon then takes Zuqhiaomon’s power to prove he can a very strong boi.

- Guilmon in this universe becomes Megidramon but a bit more controllable then before, devours marineangemon because that’s a frightening image. He’s very sorry about it tho and at the end of the fight, kinda just allows takato to try and slaughter him. Why? Because angst that’s why.

- Becomes Chaosgallantmon later on, basically serving the role as Beelzemon blast mode.

Susie and Renamon

- In this au, Renamon is basically lopmon’s replacement

-Appears as a Doumon in this universe, she also shows up in the human world for a while as she takes an interest in humans.

- After finding Susie, she basically takes her to study human behavior, accidentally becoming a second mom for Susie. Becomes very worried as Susie seems to somehow disappear every time she takes her eyes off of her.

- When they get back, sometimes Renamon will wear extravagant dresses for Susie’s tea parties. Monodramon also is forced to wear suits, he hates it but Renamon would beat his ass if he dare refused.

- Oh what about Alice, just swap her with Manami, Alice gets Seasermon and Minami gets Dobermon. Their fate is the same regardless.

Kenta and Kazu are very underrated characters.

I always liked these two. I hate how much the fandom dumps on them. It’s okay to not like them, but a lot of people act like they were completely useless and shouldn’t have been there at all. I’m here to dispute that, and this is only things off the top of my head:

In episode 4, Kazu gives Takato a ‘useless card’, training grips. Later in the episode, it was used to help defeat Gorilliamon.

In episode 16 they both helped sneak Guilmon on the bus, and covered for Takato while he and Henry were off with Guilmon.

In ep 20, Takato used the blue card Kazu drew, and it worked! Without that, they had been lost at how to win against indramon.

In ep 31, Kazu helped Guardramon heal, and they wouldn’t have been able to save Jeri if not for them.

If the list so far hasn’t been enough, the last couple are huge:

In ep 46, Kenta used Marineangemon to get into the D-Reaper zone and saved Takato and Guilmon from D-Reaper Juri, AND restored Sakuyamon who was also feeling faint. MEANWHILE, outside, Guardramon and Justimon were taking down D-Reaper agents. Henry even said that Kazu and Ryo were the big heroes of the day! (....Poor Kenta....)

And in ep 51, as they were defeating the D-Reaper, Marineangemon and Kenta showed up to save everyone, who had lost their forms.

It’s okay if you don’t like them. I love them as comic releif. But you can’t say they didn’t do anything.

And neexxt... This is fourth digimon and Tokyo mew mew projects.. Its Hirokazu shiota as Mew purin/pudding/purin with monkey!guardromon🐒

Hirokazu as purin, because they both a noisy type and a comedic pair. Purin is hyperactive girl while hirokazu is a joker of the team. Thats why i rather chooses Hirokazu over Jenrya even he was a only child and have a parents, different from orphaned purin 🤹‍♀️🤹‍♀️ 😢 (and purin is chinese, while hirokazu is japanese) as i can't find youngest digimon tamer beside mako and shizue. (because nobody these two fit at all. As mako would be berry shirayuki ) and also Tomoki himi (its out of universe.. He's from frontier :')) thats why i chooses him

I apologize, monkey!guardromon is little tricky to drew fast...🙊.. As he based from golden lion tamarin monkey, the rarest monkey in asia

Hirokazu's mew mew costume is rather hilarious and funny 😁😁.. But its so cute on him.. Even he only shows his navel, not much his midriff as well. As you can see, its also eases how he moves in acrobatic as well. 🤸‍♂️🤸‍♂️ And yeay! 2022's purin wearing a civilian outfit more modern and fashionable rather in 2002's boring chinese attire..!

I always found it strange that Jenrya and Shiuchon's mom, Lee Mayumi, has an official maiden name yet the other Tamers' moms only has their husbands' surname:

Takato: Matsuda Takehiro and Matsuda Yoshie

Ruki: Makino Rumiko (Ruki's grandma's surname is Hata)

Juri: Katou Hajime and Katou Shizue

Hirokazu: Shiota Hirofumi and Shiota Takako

Kenta: Kitagawa Shunsuke and Kitagawa Akemi

Jenrya: Lee Jan'yuu and Lee (Yanase) Mayumi

No other moms in Tamers are provided a maiden name except Mayumi, which is strange if you think about it.

But then I learned something awhile back about Chinese and maiden names. Chinese women don't take their husbands' surnames, they keep theirs and only their children inherit their fathers' name.

I felt stupid because of course naming culture is different across the world, I grew up in a culture that doesn't even make use of surnames, why was I surprised xp

But anywho, Mayumi ia Japanese. As such it's only natural she'd still take her husband's surname, Lee, but due to cross-cultural reasons, she still has the option to keep her maiden name which she may or may not do had she and the rest of her family lived in China

Tl;dr

Cross-cultural marriage leads to a fictional Japanese woman having an official maiden name while the rest of her fellow moms don't

But seriously tho, if Ruki's mom and dad are divorced, then why is her name still Makino Rumiko? In this essay I will-
