So, I was checking out Rin’s page in the Ultra Analysis book

And I came across THIS:

I am absolutely reeling at how cute this interaction is??? 🥺🥺🥺🥺

I can just imagine the context of how it might have happened…

Rin is in line at a hero meet and greet, tightly clutching an autograph book and wearing his best piece of hero merch, trembling with anticipation as he waits to meet his favorite hero, Ryukyu

On the outside, he keeps his usual composure (or most of it, anyway) but on the inside, his heart pounds harder with every step he takes towards the front of the line

And finally, he comes face to face with Ryukyu

They exchange greetings, Rin muttering a quiet “ni hao” as he processes that oh my gosh I’m talking to my favorite hero right now-

And after Ryukyu has signed Rin’s autograph book and returned it to him, Rin tries to muster up the words to tell her how much he admires her, how much she’s inspired him in his own journey to become a hero, inspired him to wholeheartedly embrace his quirk and push it to its limits…

But all that comes out is:

“Your… your quirk is so cool, ma’am…”

Aiyah! What am I, five? That sounded so lame!

He quickly perks up when Ryukyu smiles warmly and thanks him, then asks him about his own quirk

Rin’s eyes light up like a Christmas tree, and he quickly goes into detail explaining how his quirk works and his special moves inspired by her, barely able to contain his excitement

“You can shoot your own scales? Incredible!”

Rin’s heart nearly stops- did he hear that right?

This hero that he admires so much

This powerful hero in the top 10

With the coolest quirk he’s ever seen in his life

Thinks HIS quirk is incredible??

HIS???

QUIRK????

It takes every last bit of restraint Rin has not to break down in happy tears right then and there

Instead, he sincerely thanks her, his voice a bit wobbly in spite of himself, and when they pose for a picture together, Rin’s smile is bright enough to blind a room

He leaves the meet and greet walking on air and still smiling brightly, hugging his autograph book close to his chest

Today was a treasured memory that he won’t be forgetting any time soon

Summary: As Hiryu Rin and his friend Tsuburaba watch (F/n) (L/n) go against their class during Joint Training, he can’t help but wonder what he did to deserve her.

“Man, she is so hot,” Tsuburaba practically drooled from beside Rin as they both watched her fight with Mina Ashido against Kodai and Yanagi from their class. Rin could feel his eye start to twitch from annoyance.

“Honestly, how did you bag her? What’s your secret?” The brunette questioned, looking at him in disbelief.

“Uh,” Rin felt sweat drip down his forehead as he smiled awkwardly. “I-”

“Crap, we lost!” Tsuburaba suddenly interrupted as he looked at the screen in disappointment.

Rin didn’t bother to hide his grin as he saw his girl’s excitement. He was proud of her. He then looked down at the ground, face softening.

What had he done to deserve her?

Soon after all the students moved into the dorms, Rin met (F/n) (L/n). He had already known she was a beauty whenever he had faced her in the Cavalry Battle in the Sports Festival, but had never really seen her up close until then. And then she started to show interest in him of all people.

It started with random compliments in passing. She’d compliment his hero costume, tell him his quirk was really cool, say his hair was pretty, his fighting style was cool, etc.

And then by some chance of fate, he was paired with her during an activity with class 1A. He couldn’t help but notice the way she blushed around him, or would stutter over her words, or her inability to hold eye contact. It made him wonder if he was seeing things. Either way, somehow he worked up the courage to ask her out on a date, fully expecting her to decline like she had done with most of the guys in their grade…

But she said yes.

Which brings us to now.

Rin watched in irritation as Hitoshi Shinso walked up to her with a slight blush.

“Hey, would you like to get some dinner with me?”

(F/n) looked over at Rin as he huffed.

“I’m already dating someone,” she gave a small sympathetic smile.

“Who?” He questioned in disbelief.

“Hiryu,” (F/n) pointed over to the long-haired male as he waved awkwardly.

Shinso’s eyes widened in disbelief as he looked away, muttering, “Whatever,” and walking off.

She shrugged and practically skipped over to her boyfriend.

“Hi, love,” she grinned brightly.

“Hey,” he blushed. “You were great out there.”

“Thanks,” her cheeks turned a pinkish color.

“Hey, (F/n)!”

She looked over in question before smiling, “Hi, Tsuburaba.”

Said boy’s face reddened. “You were awesome out there… like always,” he chuckled.

“Thank you!”

Rin could only purse his lips as he looked at his friend incredulously.

(F/n)’s (e/c) eyes met his as he felt his face heat up once more. She took his hands in her own.

“You wanna grab something to eat?” She asked sweetly.

“Sure,” he smiled.

What he had done to deserve this, he wasn’t sure. But he’d hold onto her for as long as he could.

Class 1b Dorm Headcanons :DD

- Since Shihai and Juzo are kinda right across from each other, they hang out a lot. Mainly Shihai going to Juzo’s room. Sometimes they just chill in there, don’t speak, just chill. Watch a movie or play a board game. Y’know, it’s just chill and pretty quiet LMAO

- Setsuna and Togaru hang out a lottt since they’re right next to each other

- Yui and Reiko hang out a lot too since they’re kinda right next to each other

- You will hear Neito singing. When he’s singing, he really goes all out and gives it his all

- Togaru loves to blast his music. He’s also very very loud. It kinda sucks being next to him LMAO

- Yosetsu also gets loud cuz he rages at his games a lot. You’ll just be sitting there and hear “FUCK” “GODDAMN YOU” “FUCK YOU FUCK YOU YOU PIECE OF SHIT” and other shit like that lmaoo

- Kosei sometimes blasts songs to get people’s reactions. He’ll blast Baby by Justin Bieber or fucking Globglogabgalab

- Tetsutetsu is LOUD AS HELL, this man does not know how to be quiet

- Jurota thinks it’s absolute HELL being next to Yosetsu, Togaru, and Setsuna

- One time, Sen felt like he heard something outside of his room and when he walked out, he saw the word sizzle floating around the floor. It was Manga practicing his quirk. The sizzle escaped

- You go in Togaru’s room or walk past it while his door is open, you smell pot. His room smells like straight up pot

- Yes, some of their pets have escaped their rooms before

- Speaking on that, you best believe Neito’s ferrets have ran out of the room before with Neito chasing them down the hall LMFAO

- One time, Nirengeki was just chilling in his room when all of a sudden, a ferret crawled out from under his bed. He was definitely startled at first but knew it was Neito’s and gave it back to him haha

- Shihai’s cats are good at staying in his room, they love it in there but his youngest kitty has definitely ran out before. The little rascal just raaan away from Shihai LMAO it was so cute to see

- Togaru has pet bugs. There have been crickets that run around the dorm before. It freaks a lot of people out. When Togaru found out that Yosetsu got spooked and stepped on one, he threatened to squash Yosetsu’s food to see how he likes it

- Togaru and Jurota do not have a good relationship, they do not get along. They have argued many many times outside of Setsuna and Yosetsu’s dorms

- Shihai’s room is fucking cold as helll, dude ALWAYS has a fan going

- Sometimes, Manga likes to, right before he goes to bed, open his door and yell goodnight to Yui, Sen, Reiko, and Tetsutetsu. Tetsutetsu always responds, Sen sometimes responds, and Yui and Reiko just text him goodnight or a smiley face

- Kinoko likes to slide little notes into Hiryu, Kojiro, Itsuka, and Ibara’s rooms. Just words of motivation, little drawings, and shit like that

- The common sense kings study together, mainly in Hiryu’s room

New Quirk Name: Shed Self

This Emitter type Quirk allows the user to make a dark green, lizard-like entity from their body. The entity has decent physical abilities without much else of note. This entity is covered in harsh, jagged scales that can be fired out over medium ranges. This lets the user spawn parts of the entity outward, expanding their range and influence over it. For example, firing out a scale on a wall could make the entity's head to bite someone. Scales close to each other can bind and grow together, like a bunch of chest pieces becoming a wall of scales to protect something. The user can apply this to the entity itself, causing the scales to grow around to alter it's size and shape, like growing a bunch of scales around the arm to make it bigger. This gives the user a versatile ability, able to spread their entity wherever it is needed. They can bind foes in a series of arms, form cover around people or objects to protect them, turn the battlefield into a mess of parts, set them down as traps to attack someone, or simply shoot the scales at people. Though spreading out the entity too much can make it harder to control, making it prone to lash at whatever may be around it. The individual scales can be destroyed, and spreading out the entity too much can leave the main body weaker. Harming the main body can force it back into the user to recover.

y'know how some people in 1a have costumes designed by the same people? like Bakugo and Uraraka or Kaminari and Jiro? bc i was wondering whether some 1b characters could also share costume designers.

for example i think that Kendo's and Rin's costumes could be designed by the same person! they both take inspiration from chinese clothing and have similar slanted collars, maybe it's a thing the designer includes in all of their costumes, similar to how the Kami&Jiro designer always uses black leather jackets in theirs

Honenuki's costume looks very similar to Sero's costume so i think that they also share the same designer, along with Kirishima. on the other hand i wouldnt be surprised if it was the Iida designer instead (though i still think the resemblance to Sero is a bit stronger with the visor helmet and black + warm color palette which is also shared with Kirishima)

Mina's, Tsuyu's, Momo's and Mineta's costumes are also made by the same designer and from the 1b costumes i think Setsuna's is the most likely to be also made by them, because it's skin-tight, like all the mentioned costumes, and made of DNA-infused fabric which i believe is a trait shared by Mineta's suit (otherwise it would stick to the balls). it also features a mask similar to the ones Mineta and Mina wear
