Currently thinking of an Angel AU where Sanji is one of Cupid's angels for the past 800 years. He makes people fall in love. And for angels of love to ascend, reincarnate or reborn they're given specific clients that he needs to fall in love.

But he has a problem. A mold problem. He only has one client left that he needs to fall in love. And it's the lone wandering swordsman with an odd memorable green hair. And no matter what Sanji does. No matter who he matches the swordsman with as every new lifetime pass, the man just never falls.

And so, as Sanji begrudgingly stands on the swordsman's grave alone, he swore that on the man's next life (11th) he will make him fall in love by hook or by crook.

Sanji's sin was Zoro fell in love him and sanji was starting to love him back #to save sanji. zoro was willing to rip & offer his heart up. but doing would remove his feelings but also he can never feel love #or fall in love ever again. zoro says its okay. he didn't want to fall in love with someone that isn't sanji #sanji still doesn't want to bc its the first time zoro felt love in centuries he'd known him. he didn't want to take it away from him. #sanji “dies” but since he was able to make zoro fall in love he passed his rebirth. cupid was moved by their love #so sanji was reborn in the current lifetime with his memories with zoro intact. they met each other after 2 years he “died” #they reunited. zoro met the strawhats during the 2 years. #the end #omg that was pretty long

Honestly they could have gone the "pair the spares" route with Danyin and Changheng but I'm so glad they didn't. Also the fact they didn't ever lessen Changheng's feelings was nice too, like he really does love Xiao Lanhua very, very much and he was going to fight for her, up until the moment he realized she'd never really be happy with him, so he did the actual kind and decent thing and let her go... it's a really nice way to end a love triangle without diminishing any of the relationships. And Danyin training to become the new goddess of war and accepting that the feelings she had for Changheng weren't reciprocated but still having a strong and genuine friendship with him in the end?!?!?! A secondary female character that was introduced in a romance being in love with the guy who was destined to lose his part of the love triangle and yet she isn't just married off with him in the end as a supposed happily ever after?? Amazing.

Just binged this delightful little 2019 coming-of-age series from Japan thanks to the recommendation from @lurkingshan. It's a short and sweet five episode story of teenagers coming to grips with love. The surfing setting took me back to beach summers in Santa Cruz so this also hit my nostalgia button. Sweet, funny and enjoyed the main characters' voyages into maturity.

Also, great hug to end the show.

One day I'm literally gonna snap and make a whole post addressing why what's wrong bc I'm tired of the inaccuracy and tired of ppl not understanding the Point TM of IDW and its version of the Matrix/Primacy and even more tired of people putting down Optimus in favor of Rodimus by essentially arguing that being unworthy means you deserve to be punished/put in pain bc you just weren't good enough to hold the Symbol of Ultimate Authority

i know hoyo is setting up rhine to have good intent and whatever in her trying to 'save' khaneri'ah or whatever; but i REALLY hope they stay with the cruel persona thats been built up for her. because it would be so wonderful to see a character who had good intent in the beginning just get absolutely corrupted; with the inability to ever go back to that prior state purely because of what had happened. also because there is NO way in her turning back after all that shit
