If Crach was to be here, so was Hjalmar. Although I never put him on the Skellige throne in my plays, I still like this character. He's a brash but lovable guy, and I absolutely love his interactions with Cerys which are painfully siblings coded.

Steam filled the stone room under Kaer Trolde. It was more of a cavern really, one that had been carved and molded by the hands of men to suit their needs. The walls had been chipped straight, supported by sturdy resin cured beams here and there. And in the center of it all swirled a pool of clear water, pale gray steam clinging to the surface.

Eskel was still a bit unclear on how he’d ended up down here, with nothing but a bath sheet wrapped around his hips and Hjalmar an Craite’ quickly losing clothes in front of him.

Cerys was the first character who made me break the “canon only” rule. I can’t help it, she’s a very interesting character, and honestly could be canon. Given I intended to draw Hjalmar and Crach anyway, I figured that she could join too. Plus, I’m always putting her on the Skellige throne in my TW3 runs. 

Given her nickname is the sparrow hawk, I’ve decided to draw one perched on her hand too. If I took a lot of liberties with some other women’s outfits, I decided to stick to her game one.
