A super old comic I drew years and years ago (but I’m still kinda proud of *shrugs*)
For the record: Claire and Jack aren’t supposed to be laughing at their exhausted horses at the end. They’re meant to be laughing at themselves for getting so carried away that they both lost the race.
Also, yes, I called Pete “Jack” throughout this comic. Whoops.

“Fool” -- April 2023 Drabble Prompts
April Fools, everyone! I fooled you all into thinking I’d write my Day 1 prompt on Day 1, but I’ve actually written it on Day 2! Got you good.
😅😅😅
(April 2023 Drabble Prompts) -- prompts created by @durotoswrites and moi :)
DAY 1 -- Fool
Maintaining a farm was hard yet fulfilling work. The chickens often pecked at Claire’s legs, the cows were stubborn and disobedient, and the crops sometimes grew misshapen or not at all. But in the end, the “fruits of her labor”, so to speak, remained consistent—bountiful harvests, fresh produce, and happy and healthy animals made all the hard work worth her efforts.
Fishing, however, was a different tale. Hours upon hours of sitting by the lake with her old wooden fishing rod often returned very little, aside from some small fish that would occasionally take pity on her. Unfortunately, upgrading her fishing rod required mining, an even less fruitful task, especially for all that backbreaking physical labor. And at 2:35 PM that afternoon, all Claire had received in return was a few stray black herbs and a shooting pain in her left temple.
But when she reached the fifteenth floor of the mines and cracked the first rock, she found it—gold! Endless gold, one after the other. Her hard work had finally paid off, and with a new bounce to her step, she scampered up the stairs and sprinted over to the smithy, minutes before closing.
“Wait!” Claire called out breathlessly as she barged into the store at 3:59 PM. She tossed her rucksack onto the wooden table with a heavy thonk! and unbuttoned the cover, unveiling the precious ores. “I’d like to upgrade to the gold fishing rod, please.”
Saibara’s stony-faced expression remained fixed on the bounty before him, but he did not inspect them. After a moment’s pause, he finally stated, “Young lady, I’m afraid I can’t do that.”
“Wh—what?” Anger and confusion coursed through her veins. She’d never taken Saibara to be the humorous sort, but surely this had to be some sort of practical joke. “Why not?”
“Because,” he began with a chuckle, picking up the ore closest to him and raising it up to eye level. “This is fool’s gold.”

Dancing night✨
I don't usually post at night but I'm way too happy with this one ;u; My sweethearts being all cute and adorable aaa, I love them💖 this makes it too obvious how I'm more used to come up with dress ideas than suits though, I tried my best :')
Not relevant, but I must thank the "Honeymoon un deux trois" song for inspiring me to do this, specifically a spanish cover with Kasane Teto, it's really good!
