I'm trying to think of things Bad has said to the islanders, not just to chat, about his characters species or lore:
Dapper knows about Bad's grim reaper lore and has been spoken to about it a lot - Dapper is a grim reaper in training. Baghera and Pomme know Bad is 'Jim Beaver' and Cellbit overheard Bad and Dapper talking about grim reaper stuff (and got advice directly from Bad about the dangers of ressurection), but it seems like none of them realise this isn't a prank or is not canon.
Bad said to Mike that in 200 years they'll all probably be dead, but he'll still be there. Mike said he kept forgetting Bad wasn't human, and Bad responded "Yeah! BadBoyHalo lives forever!" And then talked about how lonely it can get because everyone you loves dies and leaves you alone.
Spoke to Dapper about how their family is very long lived, saying he will live forever, Skeppy will live forever because he's diamonds, and Dapper will live a long life because he's a dragon. (Pomme was nearby but may or may not have heard)
Spoke to Dapper and Pomme about how lonely it can be when you live 1000+ years and how important a friendship with someone who lives as long as you do is.
When Dapper called tik-tac-toe an archaic game Bad said "Just because your father is 11,000 years old...!" (Confirmed this as canon to chat which matched up with previous info he gave)
When talking about Foolish's Capybara portal, he warned him it probably wouldn't be safe to leave it open because he didn't know what could come through. There was reference to a demon coming through and destroying everything. When Foolish asked if this was something that happened before, Bad said he knew of 'another island' with a demon problem. (Another day he vaguely referred to Max about people not knowing what they would get when they did summoning rituals and when Max said he knew what he was going to get, Bad said "Yeah I think people thought they knew what they were getting too...". It doesn't seem like Max picked up on this and it was more for the ghosties)
Dapper wrote on a sign to Baghera that Bad was 1000+ years old, and Pomme corrected he was more like 11,000+. Not sure if Baghera accepted it as a joke or lore since they were talking about the doctor saying he had dementia beforehand.
Richarlyson asked how hired Bad as a grim reaper if he has a rockstar background when he was going to show them Muffin (Not sure if Richas canonically knows Bad is a grim reaper or if this was out of character)

Will there be more disabled cats in your rewrite than canon?
You bet!
I let them come when they will, though. I'm hoping to make even more over time, but when a character is disabled, I try to really consider how that impacts their life and what it looks like for this universe. I even try to design special mobility devices and do a ton of research on compiling treatment guides.
(on that note, because of that, it'll probably work out that someone will get scoliosis just after I create that herb guide in a similar way as to how it happened with Sorreltail)
And the disabled characters that ARE there have greater impacts on the narrative, usually living longer and having fuller stories. Here's a list of every disabled character in the Bonefall Rewrite so far:
Snowkit & Featherkit
Both of them die in a similar way to canon, but Snowkit's death is deeply impactful to Brackenfur, and Graystripe is now the surviving brother of Featherkit which is where Feathertail gets her name from.
Dovewing
After losing her powers, Dovewing goes deaf.
Sorreltail
Now has epilepsy, specifically absence seizures. She is on valerian root as a medicine, following my epilepsy herb guide.
Briarlight
Now has a beefed up mobility device and lives much longer than canon, with a sizeable role in The Broken Code as a rebel.
Wildfur
The paralyzed warrior only referenced when Briarlight gets her injury is now getting real screentime. He does not die in his nest, he makes the entire journey with the first 'model' of Briarlight's mobility device.
Longtail
Has a 'soft' retirement when he's blinded, stepping down from the deputy position to recover at his own pace. Jumps out of retirement to mentor Jayfeather.
Jayfeather
Trains as a full warrior before becoming a medicine cat
Cinderpelt
Not much different from canon, but she works with Littlecloud to create the first mobility device for Wildfur
Crookedstar
Not too different from canon, really. But he is not cruelly renamed; Stormkit becomes Stormpaw and Crookedjaw is an honor title.
Deadfoot
Now has a gauntlet that he bonks people with. Also has an expanded history as an old friend of Bluestar, under the pre-honor title name Hoprunner.
Thunderstar
Born with three legs.
In addition I'm very willing to scar warriors casually. Expect to just randomly see cats with one eye, hearing loss, limps, etc whenever I do designs of background characters.

(Jing Yuan pick-me-up for Honey incoming!!) He sees you tense and he Does Not Like It. He understands we all need our space from time to time, too, but right now you are not looking good, and he wants to help without being overbearing. You've helped him relax before, too! Although in... various different methods. He'll stick to sweetness for now.
So he looms over your shoulder as you work down on your screen, trying to distract your mind from whatever ails you. He knows you've seen him, his shadow is huge, but before you can address the man he just rests his chin over your shoulder, wraps his arms around your middle and presses his lips next to your ear, dropping a kiss. He gives you a squeeze before whispering: "Don't work too hard, okay? Come see me later, we can nap together after I finish with Yanqing and get Fu Xuan off my tail." His chuckle and breath over your skin makes you feel a little better, and then he brushes your hair over your shoulder before dropping another kiss on the nape of your neck and walking away. You turn around and see he's grinning at you as he steps out of the room, giving you a little wave as well befofe disappearing out of the door.
So, you might need a medical appointment now, because you're sure your sugar levels have just skyrocketed.
(take care!! 🧡✨)
AuauuuuuUU 🥲💕 this was so sweet!! U guys are too nice to me,,,, ouuguguouu,,,

Okay. The dreaded Kaname mom post. This has been living in my head for like a whole year. This should probably go without saying, but... shades of parental abuse cw.
This is just... such a complicated topic. Kaname loved his mother intensely and unconditionally. She was quite literally the only thing that mattered to him at all. Whatever interests he may have, we don’t know-- because all he speaks of, all he knows, is the dream she had for him that he strives to make reality. He not only loves her-- he all but worships her.
There are things we know of Kaname, through his own admission, that shed a little more light on this deep adoration. He mentions that he can’t function without someone to guide and love him, and that it was only by clinging to the memory of his mother’s love for him that he was even able to make it out of the orphanage he’d been stuck in after her death. He struggles to make friends, despite desperately longing for connection, and shows a clear struggle with thinking for himself, making decisions, and healthy self validation.
But we have more than just Kaname’s point of view to consider when it comes to painting a picture of the woman who was his mother. What we know of the incident where she lost her life is such a small window, but it speaks magnitudes. It tells a story of an intensely delusional, controlling person, someone who is possibly unable to manage her emotions when they get away from her (if at all.)
And we know this must be normal behaviour for her because we see it with Kaname as well. This is someone who gets embarrassed to the point of overt frustration when he fails to understand something simple. More to the point, this is someone who, in a fit of despair and desperation, actually tried to choke someone to death who he had never met and who had never wronged him. This violent outburst is simply due to his being overwhelmed by his feelings, and seems to be relatively unusual for him, but it’s a chilling parallel.
He is made of the experiences that shaped him. He is brazenly childish, down to the way he speaks, and is always, always, always seeking direction from outside. He loved his mother because he didn’t know better-- he is becoming an idol because she loved idols, because she wanted him to be an idol, and in his own words, because he wanted her to love him even more.
How many times did he stray from the ideal world she was building in her fantasies, and how many times was he punished for it? Just how severely was he punished for it? How twisted was the love that he so steadfastly clings to as a lifeline? How much of his own world was an illusion, shaped by gaslighting? He claimed to never have friends-- did he have any contact with the outside world at all?
But I also want to take the time to point out that she, too, was a deeply vulnerable woman, and her husband was a deeply vulnerable man. He married her so soon after his previous wife died that his son ran away in an appalled rage. This may have been a poor attempt at coping on his part, a need to fill a hole rather than truly accepting a new love into his life. We may never know, as HiMERU was a child at the time, and clearly emotionally compromised by the event. And she, as someone who loves idols so dearly, may have been told of (and blinded by) his relation to Godfather. They were simply not destined for anything but tragedy from the beginning.
Also, imagine... was there ever a point he’d been told Subaru’s father was his father, or would be? Is this something he’s ever had to shake off? Did he understand that his mother was delusional, did he recognize that this could not possibly be true and never would be?
