Our Own Happily Ever After

Where the vicious slayer planned something romantic for him and his beloved significant other

"Hoaqin…"

White sighed for the umpteenth time today, realizing the possible outcome of today's schedule. Not when he was completely covered in blood, pure white robes splattered with a crimson liquid, which spread a metallic taste in the air. In front of him, stood a regular who looked extremely displeased, it was clear from how they frowned upon seeing him.

"I can explain—"

"Can you now?"

White stared at them, somehow feeling suffocated by the cold treatment he had received from his own partner.  His hand reached out to their face, trying to caress their cheek. But, they dodge to the side, not planning to have some blood on their skin. 

"Hah… You're unbelievable." They shook their heads, causing White's shoulders to droop, sulking. Y/n look up ahead, toward the taller form of a slayer. They wouldn't mind in what conditions he comes home to, but can he at the very least avoid any killing in one day?

The enemies that keep on piling up, seeking out their revenge. Singing the hymns of hatred and desire to put an end to his heartless path. Plus, they couldn't blame White for the kind of destiny he had lived, given the past he had to go through. His own father's abandonment led to his current condition.

"Go clean up, I'll wait for you in the bedroom." White heads perk up, looking at them with a pair of brightened eyes. "And I might give you a few cuddles while at it."

Y/n hate to admit, but there are times when White, himself could be immature. They didn't dislike it, rather they liked it a lot. How White seems to be at ease by their presence alone, acting like how he truly desires. It feels as if they have created a worthy advancement that no one could ever make. 

Y/n watched how White disappeared away from a corner, hurrying to clean up to receive the fulfilling promise they had made. That alone, curled up a smile by the edge of their lips. How loveable, how precious and how adorable it was. Everything about him, there never was a single thing that she ever hated. Even when his personality overwhelms all of his senses and immorality. 

Call them lovestruck or so on, nothing will change Y/n mind and how they view White as if he's the one who painted the galaxy and hung the star. He became their one and only beloved childhood friend. The one who lifted their spirits up when everything went downhill. Their problems become his problems, sharing the same burden so they won't ever stray off the path of eternal sleep. 

Y/n shake their mind off, disregarding the reminiscent of the past. Turning around entirely to head off toward their shared bedrooms. It has been quite some time, ever since the two shared a moment of solitude, basking in each other's warmth and thinking of nothing more but being in each other's embrace. Well, it could've been a daily thing if it weren't for White being such a nuisance and waging a war. 

That is what makes him who he is either way. They're even more than surprised by the fact alone, they could still tell the difference between White and Hoaqin appearance. The two are the same kind of person, but the other one pretty much mixed up with other people coming from his family.

Frankly speaking, it did bother them. As long as they could see small fragments of Hoaqin inside of him, they didn't need the feel of detachment. Everything will proceed the way the two desire, their life, their relationship and many more. It was such a selfish and egoistic ideal, but at the end of time, Y/n alone is still a human. 

An arm wraps itself around their waist, pulling them back into their senses, as Y/n felt herself falling into a sturdy chest. Muscular arms, protectively held her close. The familiar warmth that envelops all of her senses and mind, clearing up her cloudy mind and put an everlasting peace with his presence alone. White gives fleeting and soft kisses by Y/n shoulder, resulting in them to sigh in content.

"Have you washed up? That was quite quick." Y/n feels the end of White pony, tickling their shoulder, letting him lay his forehead against there. "If it is for you, I'm willing to finish everything in a second." Y/n do not know what to feel of it, whether they must be flattered or not, they could only crack up a smile. 

"You didn't wash up properly then."

"I did." White feigns a scowl, peppering kisses around their shoulder blade, one hand slowly reaches out to caress their forearm, thumbs brushing against their skin delicately. 

It didn't take long for his hand to meet with theirs, intertwining together, filing in the empty gap of each other's hands. His other hand stops more securely on their abdomen, bringing them closer to him. White kept on pressing slow kisses from left to right, never once did he stop as if Y/n is the only one thing that could ever fulfill his greed. 

"I love you…" White presses a kiss on their shoulder. 

"And I love you." He confessed again, pressing a soft kiss right beside their neck. 

"And I love you always." This time, he gave a kiss by the back of their ear, hot breath fanning the ear, to the point their skin flushed up in a vermilion red. 

White continues to pepper the small kisses across their skin, all soft and loving, sometimes stopping to trail his nose lightly across their neck and chuckle when he can feel their skin heating up.

"And…" Y/n was in daze, completely drunk off the feeling of White love itself. What caught their attention is when they feel something around their palm. The palm where the two intertwined their hands together. 

"Loving you only and no one else." There lies a ring, a quartz, a pure one. And it reminds them of White eyes, the one that always looks at Y/n in such adoration and love. 

Realization comes into their mind, Y/n smile tenderly, tears welling up at the corner of their eyes. White keeps on playing with the ring, before sliding it into their finger. 

"I want you only, forever and ever."
