My Lord of the Rings Art is
Now that I have enough art to actually do this I decided to hop on the trend. Of course I am a few months late but if I weren’t would it really be me?

I’ve been a Lord of the Rings fan since I was 8 and my dad read it aloud to me and my brother. We had the graphic novel version of The Hobbit and the book is one of my favorites to this day. I know the documentaries of the making of the movies so well, I’ve probably seen them more times than the actual movies.
And yet I’ve only done one other fanart! It was time!
Prints available in my Etsy shop!

Tried practicing drawing something other than people in two art styles. I feel like both need more work 😂

I saw a hobbit door wreath idea on Pinterest a while back and made my own version of it. I got the wood circle from Joann. It had a cord attached for hanging but the slats were going the wrong way so I cut that off and screwed a picture hanger thing on instead. I got the paint, flowers, and button from Hobby Lobby. I also had some extra flowers from other projects as well as the butterfly.
Here's the finished product. I'm very happy with how it turned out 😊. As you can guess, it's the door to Bag End. It's hanging in my upstairs hallway across from a framed map of Middle Earth jigsaw puzzle I did a year or so ago.
