Halflings rest in Tom Bombadil’s forest.
I literally want to live in this art piece. Like I wasn’t sure if I liked it when I was making it, then I finished and was like: “this is it, I’ve peaked”. Anyway, I’ve been listening to TFOTR narrated by Andy serkis and boy does he have such a soothing voice. It really just delves me into the world and now I’ve returned to the LOTR brain rot. (And you will all be subjected to my art because of this)

I’ve been a Lord of the Rings fan since I was 8 and my dad read it aloud to me and my brother. We had the graphic novel version of The Hobbit and the book is one of my favorites to this day. I know the documentaries of the making of the movies so well, I’ve probably seen them more times than the actual movies.
And yet I’ve only done one other fanart! It was time!

I made this cloak a couple of years back. It's felt handsewn to the outer wool layer (I couldn't find wool thick enough) with a space patterned cotton lining. It took me about six months to make, and I made the pattern as well.
It's gathered to have more space in the back so I can fit my backpack underneath, and has armholes that button closed. It's so incredibly warm that it's become one of my most worn winter garments.
