Not Sterek related buuut:

I promised myself that if I ever saw a ship that was so popular in fandom but wasn’t canon in the show, like how sterek was, that I wouldn’t watch it unless one them was actually made queer in the show.

I just couldn’t do that after what happened with Sterek and in turn Hobrien and how all that was handled prior to season 3 and thereafter.

This being said, I saw sooo much about Buddie (Buck/Eddie) on 9-1-1, and I would always refer to it as the gay firefighter show to my friend - which she hated because for all intents and purposes, Buck and Eddie were straight. Well, today Buck has officially started his bi journey and has kissed a man! I’ve never felt so happy for a fandom of a show that I haven’t yet watched to get this small win. I love this for the Buddie/bi!buck fandom 🤍
