Saw this post and got inspired. These two dorks are on their way to decorate their tree but as if they could do that in any other way than this. Lovia makes for one yassified tree.
Thinking about a society with mixed sizes most likely also means a fair amount of trees with mixed decorations, little trinkets of all kinds of sizes, a lovely display of embraced differences.
Breath is fleeting; inhale and it’s life is almost complete
Hold as long as you may to that liminal, limited supply
Grow swollen, red, sweet apple of my eye
As tender stuffed and full of such so sweet
If you must exhale then slowly blow sweet words to me
Sigh them or lie them gently in a row to I might count
Each. Punctuated. Gift. Given. To. Account.
Even something done so simply, freely
Hold me like your breath, in tender pursed lips
Chapped from winter's caress and gales
Turn red, purple, forgo all candid thoughts that pale
When the mind, asphyxiated, is as fixated - take sips
Part those tight-pursed lips, spend freely and loosely oh, lover mine
Many a breath in the world are had, and too is your love without limit
Were I to fit them in luggage it would not fit
Measured in twine
–it would go unending
Our lives are fleeting
But our love, and our meeting
May always be pending. . .
To me; better that, than an ending.
