I am going to record what the Blessed Virgin told me in this year 1962. I kept it inside for a long time without daring to write it down. It is a petition of the Blessed Virgin:

MARY “When you pray the prayer that honors me, include the following petition, ‘Spread the effect of grace of thy Flame of Love over all of humanity.’”

JESUS "it is exclusively thanks to the efficacious pleas of the Most Holy Virgin the the Most Holy Trinity granted the effusion of the Flame of Love. By it, ask in the prayer with which you greet My Most Holy Mother: 'spread the effect of grace of Thy Flame of Love over all of humanity, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.' So that, by it's effect, HUMANITY IS CONVERTED.

The Most Holy Virgin added:

MARY “ I do not want to change the prayer by which you honor me, by this petition, i want rather to SHAKE HUMANITY. This is not a new formula but a constant supplication.”

Reflection: LOSING TO WIN

The feast of the Holy Rosary began with the victory of Christian forces against the Ottoman Turks in the Battle of Lepanto Bay in 1571. The first Dominican Pope, St. Pius V, attributed that victory to the recitation of the Holy Rosary. The devotion to the Rosary eventually grew and spread when subsequent other victories in various parts of the world, including the Philippines’ La Naval, were attributed to Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary.

Today’s Gospel shows us the key behind every victory attributed to the Holy Rosary: it is when we “lose” that we actually “win”! After God’s plan was explained to her, Mary said, “Behold, I am the handmaid of the Lord. May it be done to me according to your word” (Luke 1:38). In a sense, Mary was a loser—she “lost” herself to God and became an instrument for our salvation through her Son Jesus Christ. Jesus Himself was crucified, another “loser” in a sense but truly a victor, because in dying on the cross, He resurrected on the third day and won over death and sin.

Three years ago, our Gilas Pilipinas team experienced in China how “losing” is a victory in reality when poor officiating and home-court bullying cost us a berth into the semifinals. Though we have lost the game, we have won the hearts even of the Chinese people. That is how life is. To be like Mary means to submit ourselves to the will and plans of God, to endure many sufferings and hardships in life that sometimes make us feel that we are losers. When we are patient, understanding, forgiving, and when we bear all the pains because of love, we win as we lose ourselves and become filled with Christ Jesus like Mary. We often lose many battles for what is true and good. In the end, we actually win the war against evil. This is Christ’s greatest victory with Mother Mary—salvation. To be saved from hell and be brought to her Son Jesus Christ in eternity—that’s the final victory we all hope and pray for as we live out the Holy Rosary with Mary. But first, lose yourself to Jesus.
