I am begging people to understand how this sentiment of "WELL MONOSEXUALS AREN'T FLUID" (gay/lesbian/straight/whatever) is SO GOD DAMN harmful to sexual wellness (how we feel about all aspects of our sexuality - kink, fetish, BDSM, sexual orientation, poly vs mono for partners, etc.).

EVERYONE ON THIS GOD DAMN EARTH has the POTENTIAL to have some "wiggle room" or fluidity when it comes to what we find attractive in other human beings. We are social by nature. Even Aros and/or aces have the potential to experience brief instances of attraction towards someone, this doesn't magically cancel out their own identity. If a lesbian finds a man "hey, you got a nice looking body" or a gay man "hey that girl looks physically attractive" or a straight person "hey, I can see the aesthetic beauty in this person" DOES NOT MAGICALLY CANCEL OUT THEIR IDENTITY. Holy mother of God and burritos.

He felt so guilty about being attracted to someone else’s looks, he immediately told Annabeth, freaking out and not knowing what to do, but she put a hand on his shoulder and said “Percy.. hun.. Boreagay- Being gay normally, but having exceptions to being gay. Usually revolves around a single person. Ex: You're normally attracted to one gender, but this one specific person, who's a gender you're not normally attracted to, is attractive to you.

Said exceptions typically are "different", such as them being GNC or the lines between platonic and/or sexual/romantic attraction, with this person, beinh blurred. One may be reciprosexual/romantic and thus one may feel attraction towards this person if they feel attraction towards one.

One may not feel attraction to this gender otherwise, but the exception to their identity may be relating to how the identity of the person or their relationship with the person is strange/unusual/"different."

I found this on Pinterest and I just, have a bad taste in my mouth about it

I know it’s a joke, it’s something that isn’t meant to be taken seriously. But I, I beg. Don’t put flexible terms under bi, don’t put neptunic and Uranic under bi. Those idenities are mspec, not bi, bi isn’t the umbrella people think it is.

I am neptunic-flexible, I am not a bi person. I never accounted myself as bi. Of course I’m not everyone’s stories, I’m not everyone’s tales. But to a point it makes me upset to see people to just, lump all those identities together. Not to mention that post likes this could encourage people who want to generalize and just, mesh identities together.

may i request homoflexible terms, but instead of it being flexible with the straight flag/opposite gender implications, its like.. the opposite mono orientation? Like lesbiflexible with the flexible part being gay/vincian/ect, and the other way around for vincianflexible

Homoflexible or anisosexual is used to describe an individual who is generally gay/homosexual/homoromantic/equaric/simul- (vincian/veldian, enbian/cenelian, or lesbian/sapphic) and primarily experiences attraction to the same gender/similar genders, but has very occasionally rare tendencies to be attracted to other genders.
