#honestly i went with the flow so i don't really have any specific scenario for those

can you do a scenario where omega reader that is also a member of itzy asks to one of the girls to take care of her because she wants to have her first heat with an alpha and it just has to be them... pretty please? 👀 (sorry this got so long)
Tumblr media
An : no worries for the long requests!! It helps me out more if anything!! And again... I'm not great with 6th member au's so... Just be aware 😖 also I decided to do this as a short reaction for each member. If you want a full blown scenario for a member send back another request for a specific member and I'll gladly make one 😊
Side-note : I'm going to write this as if the members secretly have a crush on you and that's why they accept.. It'd feel weird for me to write them just accepting for no reason... This is actually a really cute plot for a full blown storyline here.... 🤔 AND this could combine with the 'confessing feelings' reaction I've already done......... Thoughts and feelings are flowing through me......

6th member O!reader asking A!Itzy to take care of them during their very first heat

Requested : ✔️
Reader : Gn
Tw : implications of smut, nothing actually happens but it's implied throughout, some of this is straight dirty talk though

*in this you and Ryujin are roomies*

Yeji
Yeji knew your fears. While she couldn't fully understand them as an alpha, she could at least appreciate and listen to your fears which she did on many occasions. You'd heard so much about how painful heats can be, how stressful they are, how people dread them and the fact you have to live with them practically your whole life... You'd never even had one before and they already scared you. As the eldest, you felt comfortable talking to Yeji about these things.
So when your first heat finally hit, you dragged Yeji back to your room and locked the door while Ryujin was out. Yeji knew from your scent immediately what was wrong and her eyes went wide. She didn't know how to help you. That was until you finally broke. "I want you to fuck me through this." Yeji's eyes went even wider. Her eyes darted round the room for an escape and finding none. You weren't even looking up at her, too shy to.
"I should explain..." Yeji's eyes landed back on you as you spoke. "I don't want to take suppressants cuz I'm scared they'll fuck up my hormones. You could masterbate but, honestly, I tried that just and it didn't help. The last option is an alpha...." Yeji swallowed on her dry throat. Her brain going in 2 different directions. Half of it thinking 'so why me?' and half of it still stuck on the thought of you masterbating....
"Please Yeji..." You beg, finally looking up at her. She really wanted to care for you. She really wanted to be there for you. She really wanted you. She knew she might regret this in the morning but she saw this as her one and only chance with you. Yeji remembers her last thoughts simply being 'fuck it.' before pulling your face straight into hers.

Lia
This isn't exactly how you'd imagined it. First heat suddenly rising while you were all watching a movie in the living room. In a panic you'd run back to your room (hopefully) before any of the other members realised or smelt you. You'd slammed the door shut and stood panicking for a few seconds with your back against the door but it was too much to handle.
So now here you were, lying on your bed, having ripped all of your clothes off, trying to relieve the symptoms yourself through your own touch. Its helping a little but isn't doing a whole bunch so you end up rolling round in bed a few times, knocking things as you go. A few more knocks as you move about before the door opens... The door opens?
"Hey, Y/n? Is everything ok? I tried knoc-" Lia's sweet, concerned voice broke through your ears as she steps into the room. Both frozen in shock of each other. Just staring before she spins, nearly headbutts the wall and apologises. "Oh.my.god.oh.my.god I'm so sorry. I should've knocked more or waited or someth-" "Lia?" You cut off her adorable ramblings.
"Close the door, please." You request. Too embarrassed, Lia just nods with her back still turned and goes to leave. "No! Lia...... Stay inside and close the door..." Her head snaps back to you in shock before she remembers what position you're in right now and looks away again. She just follows what you say.
"I'm in heat..." You admit. "I know...." She awkwardly responds. You pause, thinking up of a way to ask for what you want. "....I wanna know what it's like to have a dick in me........ and I can already see your buldge." Wide eyed, Lia looks down and confirms what you say. Her hands cover herself up as she, one again, begins apologising. You tell her "It's ok but... ermm.... Can I have it in me?"
Still not looking up, Lia thinks it over. Surely there's no harm in just helping a member out... It's not like she likes you at all... With her decision made, she reaches up and makes sure that (this time) the door is locked.
Tumblr media
Ryujin
"Ryujin..." You tried stirring her. "RYujin..." A failed second attempt. "RYUJin!" This time you crawled into her bed with her and gripped onto her shirt. It was 3am and you were woken up by your own discomfort. Boiling hot. Fidgety legs. Dripping wet. Everything made worse by the fact you shared a room with an alpha that had her dark chocolate scent everywhere. You didn't realise how difficult it would be to resist her during heat. I mean you'd never had one before how would you of known? Instead of denying yourself though, you'd made the decision to just go with it and try wake Ryujin up so she can take care of you.
Tugging at her shirt and shaking it slightly, you whine out again. "Ryuujiinnn..." "Uuggmmm... What's the matter?" Finally, she stirs slightly. She doesn't have her eyes open and she doesn't move bar a little head shake but she's responding at least. "I..... need you..." You admit weakly. Ryujin rolls her head till its tilted your direction and tiredly opens one eye. "You... Need me?"
Feeling too embarrassed to explain, you just yank on the shirt still in your grasp until your lips are together. It becomes heated pretty quickly (as Ryujin wakes up and realises what the issue is) and you're sitting up together as she guides one of your legs over hers so you can straddle her. You wrap your arms around her shoulders and grind into her, unable to hold back. You want more but Ryujin's hands are on your chest pushing you away slightly.
Leaning back to look you in the eyes, she makes sure you want this. However, Ryujin's too tsundere to admit she cares that much so she disguises it as a cocky statement. "You n e e d me, huh?" Still grinding into her, you nod (yes) frantically.
Tumblr media
Chaeryeong
Chaeryeong cared for you, she always did. Ever since you joined the group, it was like she found a puppy she had to take care of. Constantly asking if you're hungry, you need a drink, a massage, anything and she'll do it for you. It's to the point where one yell of her name will send her flying towards you at lighting speed ready to get you everything you need.
It happened again today. "Chaeryeong!?" You called out, one second later she's at your door. She steps in to find you pacing about clearly stressed out and the smell she's walked into tells her why. As always, she's ready. "Right. What do you need? How can I help you? I can go get anything you need and you can just stay he-"
She's halfway out the door already but you walk over, pull her back in and shut her inside with you. Gently, placing her against the door but having a death grip on her forearms, you talk. "You always help me, right?" Nervous, Chaeryeong nods (yes). "Can you help me now?" Soothingly, she answers in an instant. "Of course! You know I'm always here to help you! Just tell me what you want me to do and I'll do it."
Looking her in the eyes, you whisper. "What do you think I want you to do?" Seeing the emotion in your eyes, Chaeryeong knows what you want. She doesn't quite know how to respond but, before she really knows it, she slowly leaning in to leave a soft kiss on your lips. A kiss that's bound to get rougher as the night goes on.

Yuna
Being the 2 youngest members, it was inevitable that you and Yuna got along. Always sat next to each other. Always messing about. Always bickering. You both preferred to annoy each other rather than be lovey-dovey. That stayed the same whenever your heat was brought up in topic. Yuna making sarcastic jokes and lightly poking fun at you to make you feel better about them.
So, when you and Yuna were alone in the dorm because everyone had gone to visit family, and your first heat hit you, Yuna was right there with you. Right there with you, to tease you all the way through it.
You were sat gossiping in her bed when it hit and your wide eyes and scent told her everything. "Ahahaha!! It's happening~" Yuna taunts while pointing a finger at you. "Be quiet, Yuna." You snap, trying to get yourself comfortable. "Not when you're all~ grown~ up~ now~"
The rest of the day Yuna sits closer, smirks at you, whispers seductively instead of just talking normally, openly trying to get you even more worked up than you already were. The final straw was when you were stood at the kitchen sink getting yourself a glass of cold water and Yuna walks up behind you, reaches round to lean against the sink and pushes all of her front into your back.
Being so fed up and horny you just blurt your imagination out. "Yuna, for fucks sake! If you're gonna turn me on this much why don't we just have sex!" Shocked, she relaxes and moves slightly, not enough to free you completely but enough to let you turn round and face her. Now front-to-front, you stare into her wide eyes completely serious. "I know you're just teasing me to make this worse so why don't we just get this over with?"
"......You think I'm teasing you this much just to annoy you?" She leans in, lips gracing only. "Ever think about me doing this because I like seeing you all hot and bothered because of me?"

Maybe a feverish and delirious whumpee waking up with a nightmare and a caretaker soothes them afterwards? I don’t have specific characters so that’s up to your discretion! ^^
Tumblr media
Soooooooooooooooooooo. I kind of overdid it I think. But there’s so much to do with that single trope that I ended up drawing a few ideas that poped in my mind when I red the request !

What do you see happening after Josh is being rescued? Does he meet everyone of his friend eventually or some of them keep their distance? I read one of your answers about them abandoning him and honestly I don't think they didn't care at all about him, but the events were so traumatic and scary that they probably had a hard time taking into consideration that small possibility of him being alive. Plus I guess it's also part of the smooth flow of the game if it makes sense, Mike doesn't go after Jess either after he sees her falling into the mines and accuses Josh of killing her without being 100% sure that she is dead and without seeing Josh around when shit happened to her. But if I were Josh maybe I would be upset knowing they didn't come for me at all. So how would a reunion go?
That’s valid! You can interpret the lack of an interest in rescuing Josh to multiple things—that they are very sure he’s dead, if you want to be as generous as possible to them. That they think he’s probably dead and are afraid of dying too more than willing to save him, that they’re (sans Chris) too mad about the prank he pulled, etc. And I can see why people would go for any number of them. I think to me it has always read like they think he is probably dead, and the whatever he has, 30%, 20% chance? Of still being alive just isn’t enough for them to feel motivated to face very likely death to go hunting for him, especially with flamethrower dude just dead doing the same. Which makes /me/ angry, because Mike went batshit after seeing Jess wounded and dragged through a window and more trying to save her, multiple characters can kill themselves trying to save the others in the finale, etc, and I just think if you /can/ save someone who is your friend—or like, you have a shot anyway—you don’t know it is too late. You should. (& true Jess can still be alive and Mike will assume she is dead, but in his defense, so do basically all blind playthroughs she looks like she falls four stories or something while already almost dead I can’t fault Mike for assuming that was a 100% death there. Boy really tried. Whereas Josh’s vanishing from the shed is much less confirmed. There is no ‘I watched him fall’ here. Just a neither he nor his dead body were still in the shed so /something/ happened). Like I do get it, that’s a terrifying situation and not helping doesn’t = not caring, but I will hold it against characters if they don’t risk themselves to save their friends and I will be unhappy with them. Loyalty is very important to me. But it is a truly terrifying situation.
But I also get why they’d be terrified to go out there. I don’t think it makes them evil to not want to risk it till they have to, it just makes me disappointed in them. I don’t think I said I think they didn’t care about him—typo if I did, because I certainly don’t think that at all! I think Chris was traumatized and felt very sure he was dead, Ashley didn’t care (she explicitly says she thinks he deserves it and tries to stop Chris from saving him the first time), Emily doesn’t care a lot one way or another and is mostly on her own trauma right now and thinking about Matt and the awful shit she saw, that Sam does care but thinks he is probably dead and is in team mom mode and cares more about trying to keep as many friends alive as possible right now than anything else and doesn’t want to lose the others, and Mike is still pissed but also feels very bad and would prefer for Josh to make it but is also more focused on group survival and not losing anyone else since he just lost someone he loves horribly (based largely on how his reaction to the safe room scenario is either to kill Emily and feel awful but do it because he very vocally and visibly doesn’t want the others to be killed and she won’t go peacefully, and he’s terrified of losing them, or to try but not be able to because he loves Emily, and instead give the gun to the others to try to save themselves with in the event she /does/ turn). And although he’s a right coward bastard for leaving Josh if Josh gets grabbed instead of killed, down in the mines, I do think he cared about Josh. He seems truly sorry to some extent when he finds him, and does /try/ to lead him out of the mines. At the point they make the decision to go for the cable car key, I don’t think they don’t care at all, except Ashley. I just think they should care more. Although I tend to give Chris a pass because he just watched a man get beheaded, has strong reason to think Josh is dead, is injured, and spends the entire rest of the game more or less in traumatized mode quiet in the corner.
But that said I can also see why people would interpret the reactions to mean they all believe he is very dead, and mean they’re going after his corpse! I can see lots of basis in-game to interpret in quite a number of ways. And be generous to the fool kids if you want to! I /super/ hold abandoning Josh in the mines wildly against Mike, but Mike is still one of my favorite characters in the whole game. I love how flawed the cast is and that you go in hating most of them and only slowly grow to care because you don’t want them dead-dead, which keeps you there long enough to see some of their good sides. *cheff’s kiss* the great ability of the horror genre. The bar to initially invest is so low, it lets you have such a multi-faceted cast.
Okay anyway, original question! What do I see happening after Josh gets rescued and exorcised.
I think he meets up with all of them again eventually. Interesting to think from Josh’s pov how he’s going to feel. I expect to some degree he does feel abandoned, and fairly, and in RoB it is very clear he is afraid to some extent of Mike and Chris after being dragged off and tied up and left in the shed, and the things they said to him. He also /definitely/ feels massively guilty and self-blaming about all of it. He’s telling himself through Hill that no one will come for him and it’s his own fault by the final chapter. And mostly he’s just afraid of Mike and in ptsd dissociating mode by the time Sam and Mike find him. So, mixed feelings on his part I expect. Lots of fear and pain and hurt at being abandoned and so universally believed capable of murder, hurt, left to die alone in the mines. Pretty damn betrayed, and that on top of the hurt from what happened to his sisters and the inherent paranoia of paranoid schizophrenia. Hurt that they just left him. Hurt they didn’t believe him. Hurt nobody came for him until it was too late. Hurt he got betrayed again. Probably pretty miserable overall. But with that, also feels really bad about going too far and hates and blames himself intensely for everything, and I expect is also kind of not just traumatized but ashamed of what happens to him, and everyone knowing about the possession and the cannibalism. Probably he wants to lock himself in a room in the corner of a big house and never come out. But also is intensely and miserably and hopelessly lonely. Probably feels all of his friendships are likely broken beyond repair.
I don’t think they are though. Chris “I’m not your bro” six seconds later “bro are you for real?” Hartley almost dies trying to save him and wouldn’t care about the possession stuff except to be worried about him. Sam is angry and harboring some resentment, but clearly reacts to Mike reporting he is gone with regret. Mike would probably feel very guilty for leaving him and be hesitant to reconnect and then defensive doing it, but I think he cares. Jess wasn’t even there for this shit so probably she does. Same for Matt maybe? Ashley and Emily are harder to guess for. I think Ashley would be incredibly angry and resentful—I mean she wants him dead in-game, but might eventually join the others if the others got over stuff? Bc she’s also kinda a joiner? Really it’s hard to say she is a very...hair-trigger character. Volatile and intensely and massively changeable. Probably the least predictable of all. That kind of person scares me deeply in real life because I have been very backstabbed by them before. >.> But anyway hard to say. Also a lot of this depends on what ending, even assuming they all live. But I usually assume that like, Mike almost shot Em, didn’t, Matt tried to save her, Sam saw the workshop, etc ending. Emily I really don’t know. She’s a very self-reliant and hard person. She didn’t have anything very specifically for or against Josh with her experience, but wasn’t that close to him before, so I think she just kinda falls wherever she falls.
I think mostly though that they’d reconnect. Definitely Chris would jump to it, and I think Sam would too—she’s a well educated, empathetic and understanding person. She’d know he needs her. And Chris is his childhood best friend and cares the whole game. I think Mike would try to go too because of guilt, and because he’s a decent guy. Probably so would after not much time those least effected by what Josh did. I think Josh would be alone while being exorcised and probably reocvering in a hospital some after, and Chris would be the first, or Chris and Sam possibly. I think he’d be afraid to see them, and it would be complicated and messy and painful for them all, but it would be okay and sort itself out and they’d find old ground quickly. And having them there would be /incredibly/ vital to helping him recover. I think eventually he’d get back on his feet, and a lot of his old friends would be around and stay in his life. I think things would get better. I’d say the OG ExorJosh comic writer I think did a good job of guessing about what a lot of it would be like. Hard, and slow, and messy. But a lot of them care for him, and I think that would matter enough to help things get okay between them again.

your post about the trolley problem made me reconsider how i always dismissed the baby hitler dilemma based on: 1) it doesn't address the outside factors such as already existing antisemitism 2) there are more hypothetical scenarios that don't involve freaking time travel 3) whoever created the question /really/ wanted an scenario where killing a baby is the correct thing to do. now that i'm reconsidering my dismissal based on the last point, but how do you feel about that ethical problem?
okay I did have to google this one because I read a lot of weird ethics papers when I went through my minor requirements and “baby hitler dilemma” was not one of them lol. so to clarify: the dilemma here being “if you could go back in time and kill baby hitler, would you?”
I mean, to be honest, as far as hypothetical moral dilemmas go I just don’t think this is a very good one, partly for the reasons you outlined. at the very least it needs significant clarification or else it’s possible to justify pretty much any answer on any grounds; it’s just so vague! is it one of those situations where it’s like, you alter the course of history in some massive (possibly worse) way and the whole thing is a trap? are your efforts futile because, like you said, antisemitism was already at a fairly menacing simmer (and antisemitism itself is... not a new concept, unfortunately. we jews have fled many a land in our time)?
if you simplified it into something along the lines of “is it ethical to kill a baby that will grow up and commit great atrocities that would not otherwise be committed if they were not alive, and killing this baby is the only way to prevent said atrocities from being carried out with no possibility of pacifistic intervention or otherwise rehabilitating the baby before it could commit said atrocities?” then that’s a much more crystal-clear question and lets you get right into the matter of tackling the philosophical concepts you’re trying to get at. (and honestly in that case, I think my answer might be yes--or at least I could make a strong case for “yes.” though if I’m still thinking of this as a hitler-flavored baby due to the context of this whole conversation, then that answer is already biased by things like my own jewish ancestry.)
I think that does actually raise a good point as to why the trolley problem is so enduring in the philosophy of ethics: it gets right down to the point. no context, no setup, no temporal-historical implications. think fast!--do you let five people die by inaction, or actively cause one to die? that’s a lot punchier, a lot easier to pare down to its abstract frameworks (since it’s already so simple), and not wrapped up in other elements that are confusing or elicit a strong emotional response that could affect your answer. there’s a reason the trolley problem isn’t like, you can either steer the trolley towards your grandma or you can steer it towards five oil barons.
so I think when people get all up in arms that the trolley problem is too reductive and doesn’t take into account for all the things that led to a runaway trolley with six potential victims laying in its path, they’re sort of missing the point of the exercise. it’s supposed to be very literal and detached from the flow of reality because it exists to zero in on an uber-specific choice, faced in a single moment in time. the trolley functions in the same way that the frictionless plane and the perfectly round sphere exist when you’re learning physics--it’s not that you’ll encounter these things in real life, but that they’re useful tools to demonstrate concepts. the baby hitler dilemma (in its basic state) is more akin to a question you ask your friends at the bar and you all get into an argument about the implications of time travel. maybe it’s fun to discuss, but there’s no real process to it and you’re not uncovering (or demonstrating) more broadly-applicable philosophical frameworks unless you really shave it down a more simple question.
though as far as your third point goes (and as a side note, I think it’s funny you say that the question is supposed to lead you into saying that it would be ethical to kill the hitler baby--I have no idea what the intent was of the person who posed the question, so you may be right, but I feel like I could just as easily imagine it was born of the opposite intent! anyway...), I should assure you that far weirder scenarios get tossed around by ethicists without a second thought. sometimes a truly bizarre thought experiment gets the old thinker going. or if you’re the geriatric philosophy professor whose virtue ethics courses I suffered through in the course of my bioethics minor (for the two terrible required courses for which he was the only instructor), you spend a lot of time drawing inscrutable diagrams demonstrating the way two assassins administer poison to their target through a series of ventilation tubes.
