i told y’all they didn’t do anything with the investigation. over a whole year and they’re JUST now doing it 😖 but at least it’s finally being talked about! i hope it’s a process we get to see because i don’t understand. if they’re still trying to make andy captain in the end then what is all this for in regards to maya? just say fuck the investigation and move on because she didn’t do anything worth demotion. and what is the investigation anyway? are they going to interview her peers? what are they looking for? this should’ve been dealt with in the first 3-5 episodes. i don’t like the way she’s just been so nonchalant about it

this season could’ve centered around the fact that they’re married and carina is scared for maya. now that she’s not captain and is right dead smack in the fire. then the death of dean and how that makes them feel. plus maya working towards captain again and whatever they want to do with carina at this point 🥴it’s crazy how they can work ingrid into the story so seamlessly but can’t for carina. everyone but not carina. this is why you don’t watch shows for 3 people whose names are so far down on the cast list. nothing but pain.

honestly, i don’t remember what else happened because i just wanted the hour to finish. i think i’m going to start watching this show through the maya/carina/vic tags because i hate every other character. it’s honestly not worth it to me.

Happy Valentine’s Day everybody! If you’ll look above, you’ll see the most self indulgent thing I’ve ever created, and may ever create, again! 😌🙏

I put 12 hours of work into this bad boy (which isn’t even including the supplementary research I did into DC lore to find any crumbs on Themysciran and Kryptonian wedding traditions) so you know it’s chock full of love!! It’s what my kiddos deserve tbh

I was kind of stretching my style muscles on this one, because I wanted them to look a bit older (maybe mid 20’s?), though I’m honestly not sure if I succeeded Akshsj Still pretty happy with how it all came out though!

I have literally so many ideas for this au y’all, it’s not even funny 😂 and I want to do them all in this kind of style where it looks like a wedding photo, like the kind you’d keep in a wedding album? So a mix of rehearsal, ceremony, reception, posed photos of the spouses, candid pics from the party, etc. At this point, I have enough ideas to actually fill a wedding album I think (someone pls stop me if you see me trying to do this, cause at this point I just might Akshsj)

Besides the finished illustration, I’ve also included the original sketch, as well as the outfit designs since I couldn’t really show them off in this piece!

Walker 2.07

Walker is back from winter hiatus and we're just gonna jump right into it....

Things are still tense between Walker and Liam due to what Liam did of filing a false police report against Dan, and after Walker snaps at him in front of the family over a broken bowl the kids wonder what happened so Liam fesses up and tells them what he did before walking out the door. Three weeks have passed. Liam is off in the woods and hasn’t returned home, is ignoring his brother, barely communicating with the rest of the family and things are about to get worse because Serano’s legal team is looking to use his filing of a false report while doing an investigation linked to the case to benefit their client and have gotten a continuance. Captain James is not happy about that and he calls him to pretty much tell him to get his shit together, go to HQ and give his statement.

To which he replies that he needs to think about it because there’s nothing that legally forces him to give them a statement. But there is someone who can get him back to civilization: Bret! Worried about her uncle, Stella had called Bret so he traveled to Austin to check up on him. They’re at the Side Step when Liam gets a call from Serano’s legal team and at first he tells them to back off but when they ask if he’s officially recusing himself he says no which is good cause later on while talking to Bret he realizes what’s going on, he has to give a statement because otherwise Serano’s legal team is going to use Walker’s past misconduct to throw into question their clients arrest and claim Walker was lying which could get the whole case thrown out.

He wants to go to HQ and give his statement, the problem is that he is drunk af. Which, while funny, is very bad when facing a group of cutthroat lawyers. Things turn into an argument, and later in his office Captain James scolds Liam for showing up in the state he’s in but he also tries to give him a bit of a wake up call regarding his behavior and how he hasn’t been well since he lost the DA race.

Later on we not only finally get Liam and Walker talking honestly to each other but also get Walker opening his eyes and realizing his brother is not okay and that he needs to be there for him. I’m glad they’re finally patching things up, I just hope it’s not undone the next time Liam tries to warn Walker about the Davidsons.

Sidenote: Y’all remember how the Davidsons won the chili competition and got their dish added to the Side Step menu? They named it the Barn Burner which is messed up considering what they’re been through but at the same time that is peak dark humor 😂

While all this was going on we also got Stella starting to feel the pressure about going to college and leaving her family who she feels responsible for but Trey helps her realize her job isn’t to fix her family’s problems and that she’s allowed to think of her own future.

Colton and August are continuing to build upon the friendship they started in the last episode which I’m happy to see. August needs friends and Colton needs some stability, I think they’ll be good for each other.

And my personal favorite, we got some Captain James and Trey bonding! I need more of that; Captain James had went to check up on Trey to make sure he was safe cause Micki had mentioned in her report that he went to visit her while she was undercover. Spoiler alert he was not safe, one of Serano’s men was spying on the house.

A security detail was set up for him but while waiting for it Serano’s man attacks and Captain James….gets shot. Dun, dun, dun! Yeah, I didn’t find that surprising in the slightest because I had read the press release for episode 8 which gave this happening away; why they decided to include what was intended as a shocking episode ending cliffhanger in an official episode press release that came out months before I do not know.

Anyways all in all it was an okay episode. This was the first ep without Micki and I’m so glad that they’re not ignoring her absence or acting as if she never existed but instead showing how much she meant to them all, through the whole episode there’s little mentions of her and it’s noticeable how missed she is by everyone.

The highlights in this episode for me are the character interactions. I really liked seeing Captain James and Trey bonding, and Colton being friends with August but also interacting with Abeline, and there’s a scene near the end with Stella, Walker, Liam and Bret playing cards which I loved cause we had never seen that dynamic before; it’s fun to see new dynamics being explored.

like i understand that today is the ttb premiere, but i don't think ashley did it on purpose? i mean, they released the elvis teaser today, pure coincidence, if they had released it yesterday she would have posted it yesterday, if it had released it tomorrow she would have posted it tomorrow

It’s funny that Ashley is in New York right now chilling when she could’ve went to her “best friend” premiere tonight but posted asstin movie trailer and praised him. To me it’s loud and clear on who she’s truly loyal too which is sad because Ashley and Vanessa had been friends for years even before asstin came into the picture.

I don’t understand why everyone is crazy about Ashley and what she posts. Who cares? She’s friends with Austin. She’s friends with Zac. She’s friends with Vanessa. She can be friends with all 3 regardless of everyone’s personal feelings about her. Maybe she’s not as close to Vanessa. Maybe she is. Maybe they speak behind closed doors.

I agree. They aren’t close. Which is fine. The thing is, Ashley keeps calling her “my best friend.” When it’s convenient, she takes ownership of Vanessa. Not really surprise,tho. Honestly, Vanessa gives her 100% support and doesn’t ask for much/return. Shady friends, why keep them. Just let time go by and wish them the best. 🤘🏽✌🏽

I didn't care about her Austin post but I thought she would also go to the premiere. After all she can support both friends.
