honestly, almost every instance of Yoongi and Namjoon that i write. i have so much care and respect for them as people, that while making them into fictional characters, i just want to pour all of my feelings into them. especially Yoongi in Lips Like Honey, Sun Seeker and Entanglement. Especially Namjoon in This Sordid Place and Collateral, tbh.

i don't always mean for the boundary & anxiety chats to be so prevalent, but every time i am writing new characters, i just naturally make them have those conversations. there are a lot of things i choose to leave out for the sake of it just being fiction (condoms and things like that) but idk, i just like making people talk about their limits and desires.

also squirting. 💀💀💀 i don't mean to have so many mcs squirt but idk fuck it, we're having fun, let's make a mess!!!!

here is a little snippet of an upcoming fic called truth or dare! we explore some sensory depravation, and in this bit, mc is naked and on their knees, wearing a blindfold.

Taehyung takes a step back, removing all touch from you, and you lean forward, searching for him, listening for where he may have gone. Outside, the city is alive with blaring car horns and the occasional blip of a song played loudly from someone's car as they drive by. You find yourself tilting your head this way and that, listening for Taehyung—for anything that sounds like it is coming from this room. Suddenly, outside, a car alarm begins to blast and chime, causing you to jump and mutter, "Fuck," under your breath. Having your vision taken away has you on edge, especially when in here is so quiet and out there is so distracting. But then, things shift. You hear footsteps quietly retreat and then the scrape of a wooden window being closed, drowning out most of the outside noises. And then, you hear a switch being flipped, followed by the whirring of what sounds like a fan, but also like television static, covering all outside noise. As glad as you are to have the outside distractions drowned out, you suddenly feel more suspended in darkness alone, with no sense of any noise inside the room. Is Taehyung approaching? You are not sure you would be able to hear him if he did.

i hope that snip is enticing enough to make everyone want to see where that scene goes!!!!!!!! i am very excited to finish that one up once i have the energy too lolol.

Warnings: This is an ANTI VISERYS drabble, if you have any sympathy for that crusty old leper DO NOT ENTER.

He cuts a sorry figure seated upon the Iron throne. That is the first thought that crosses her mind and perhaps the first real one she remembers upon being summoned to King's landing. Not the stench and the overcrowding, nor the lack of fresh air or the rats scurrying about at night, but the picture of the wilting royal occupying the highest honor of the realm. It seems almost disgraceful that the might and power of the dragon lords has come to this. He wears the crown of his predecessor with an air of importance, fruitlessly trying to hide the rotting flesh peeking out from underneath. She almost pities the man above her before she's graced by his patronizing smile. Some of the ladies back home had remarked on his agreeableness, easy demeanor and manner of welcoming even the humblest of subjects, however the sight in front of her could turn a healthy eye sore.

He wears his geniality worse than the mask that covers half of his face. Over the years the veneer seems to have faded, due to sickness, the maesters say and she wonders what could a man of two and fifty have done to beget such a malady.

She finds her answer soon enough. It lies in bloodied fingernails, in torn eyelids and wounded sockets, in wrung hands and bloodshot eyes, in tireless sermons and ramrod spines. She feels strained, stifled, angry and spent as the days go by, with no way to let it out. The Sept offers her little comfort, surrounded by the same incense that shrouds his very chambers and she wonders how the lady she's come to know finds peace in such a place. It is the only time she sees her lips straighten and her brows unknit, so she holds her tongue, clasping her own hands in inquisition before the Crone. Her obedience is soon rewarded by companionship. She trails behind skirts of green from dawn to dusk, silently observing, responding only when asked, eyes forever on the lookout. The Queen lives up to her reputation which seems to pierce her even more. Her lady in armor, as green as the flame of her maiden place, faces the years with a stiff lip yet a kind gaze, all while the dragon slumbers and withers like the skull beneath, waiting for a candle to be lit yet again at his altar. She wonders whether her lady prays for him, for death or mercy, or perhaps to find each in both.

Her invitation soon extends to dinners. She's a faithful servant of the crown attending feasts as well as intimate gatherings, still observing but not without a subtle jape passed at an opportune moment. Her children, albeit withdrawn and cold to an onlooker, burn just as brightly and she finds herself warmed by flames of gold, blue and green.

As the dishes in front of her vary in their decadence and texture her thoughts are often drawn to the grandiose salves and bandages changed soon after, varieties of both from all across the realm. His flesh peels like the breast she'd dig into, coated with honey, thick and juicy while he rots away in comparison. As the maesters advise caution, the yellows and blacks oozing out of his back do nothing to placate the morbid curiosity and satisfaction that runs through her and she realizes at last, just as the feasts she'd come to earn, the man before her wholly deserves his due.

@seungly x seungmin (kaichou wa maid sama - misaki x takumi) : one of my favorites, i love how takumi would do everything for misaki. i bet seungmin would do the same for sunny because he's a sucker for her! and have you seen how he kissed her before jumping from the rooftop?

@comet-falls x minho (the wallflower - sunako x kyohei) : i can consider this as an enemies to lovers trope, a slow burn kinda type of anime. imagine living under the same roof with four hot men and honey will lose her mind over it. since the sunako loves horror too, honey is perfect for the role. and minho would be that rebellious male lead. this anime is so old, i need to rewatch it.

@lix-ables x felix (kimi ni todoke - sawako x shota) : okay this is anothe slow burn trope but even if they don't have feelings at first yet, just look at the bond and how thoughtful felix can be even if not everyone is warming up to kriss just yet.

THE BUTTER SITUATION

I’m making a new post because the comments on that last are mayhem and also this is a common theme amongst many of my posts so I feel like I should explain once and for all

How did I start making butter?

As a weird kid™, I went to history camp as summer camp and learned about 18th century living. Which of course includes churning butter (except they’re lame and only ever made it to salty whipped cream and as usual I thought I can do better)

So I got my first churn and it was one of those mason jar kinds with the crank. But the problem here is that I can only crank with my right hand and I hate hate hate it because I need to feel things on both sides or I want to throw myself in a volcano,,, also because i could only make very limited quantities

Anyway, then I asked for what any normal 16 year old asks their Grandpa for, which is a full churn, like the ceramic standing kind with the wooden stick. So the second time I used it was for thanksgiving and that was gonna be my contribution but then my stick broke and I churned it by hand instead. Which just means I stuck my hand in and started whacking it around… it worked well enough if you ignore the bruises that lasted till christmas

What kinds of butter do you make?

whipped honey butter, lavender honey butter, roasted garlic butter, and I also keep experimenting so there’s always new butters

What do you do with this butter?

I give it to people, especially people I care for. My favorite teachers, my friends, my family, the people I work with.

What does this have to do with flirting?

Whelll, before christmas break it seems i’ve developed a crush a little 🤏 tiny teeny weeny crush……..THATS A LIE, it was in like, March and it’s massive

So before christmas I was talking about butter and blah blah blah i was like “Do you, want me… to make you butter” and duh the answer was yes

So she had it and she loved it and so i gave her more and it’s just uuuughhhhgghghg such a thing

But now she asked me to be lab partners and we don’t understand any of it but she keeps making butter jokes and i’m like breathless trying to model an enzyme, getting swept off my feet

How often do you get asked if you have a cow?

More often that I thought I’d be but I still wish the answer was yes 🥺

Hi, nonnie! A bit of a late start for me today. I try to be logged in for work by 7:30am at the latest. Today was 7:45am. How is your day going?

My birthday is coming up! Not too excited about it. 😂 I may try to post a fic or do a small sleepover for you lovelies. Hopefully something fun!

I stumbled on a post from almost 2 years ago. A group of us were thirsting and having fun. A portion of those blogs, gone. A couple of others, possibly leaving. The ones still here and not going anywhere from what I know, not much interaction anymore. It was bittersweet to say the least.

I've had conversations with a few about Tumblr recently. I think we've accepted that it won't be like how it was during the pandemic when there was more time or a bigger sense of community. There is still good here and not saying that there isn't a sense of community, but negativity, gatekeeping, hate, demands, etc., are continuing to push blogs to either distance themselves from the site or leave completely. I think within the last day I've seen a moot deactivate and a couple more back off the site for now. It's sad.

Something I wish people would remember is life is tough and many come here for an escape. We want to share our creations, hoe out with others and just forget about things dragging us down. I know a couple of people are trying to find ways to boost positivity here. I hope I can find a way, too.
