Just wanted to say I came across Alaris two nights ago and literally stayed up all night to complete the demo. I am obsessed. I have work tomorrow, and it’s almost 1am, and my first thought is “maybe I should try another route of Alaris, I don’t have to get into work ‘til 6(pm) anyways”. I literally played so long I had issues seeing because my eyes were so dry. I am low on funds rn (had to take a few weeks off work for a health issue) but the second I get my next paycheck I plan to drop by your patreon. I have not been this taken by a game in eons. The writing is phenomenal. The characters are so intriguing and real. The art is absolutely stunning. The soundtrack is so pleasing - so calming. Thank you so much for making this. I know it’s just a demo right now, but honestly, even if you never finished it, I’d be in your debt forever. I’ve been having a really rough time in my life lately with waiting on a potentially terrifying diagnosis, and was kind of at my breaking point before I found your Alaris. It probably sounds really silly, but when I played it, I felt like a weight was off my chest - it was the first thing in months to not just truly distract me, but to really bring me out of that sort of hazy out of body feeling. Sorry if that’s kinda heavy, I just wanted you to know that your “silly” (as you described it on the website I think? Or somewhere I saw you say that) game has had a huge impact on my life, at least, and I’m really grateful for that. Thank you, truly. Anyways, I’d write more, but to be honest, I’m about to spend another all nighter playing Alaris. I hope you have a wonderful night (or day. Or the like). 💕

okay first, i love love loved the way you wrote yoona’s relationship with her parents! honestly felt like i was experiencing that journey with them & the little moments they had!

honorable mentions i REALLY enjoyed:

all of j-line’s kids resembling their parents was so cute, i would love to see more of that. the sex talk, oh my god, the sex talk. it was so perfect! exactly how i imagined it to go down. also sakura being all smug with her already having condoms, i just cannot help but love her. mina getting angry and fighting for yoona 😮‍💨 that was one of my favourite scenes! and minayeon getting down and dirty?? even with mina’s bruised hand?? girl will let NOTHING stop her from pleasing nayeon. the pool scene, i literally squealed!! SQUEALED. sakura and haewon being completely oblivious to their own feelings, the light touches here and there, the tension?? it was all so beautiful🥺 and yoona going through the most with chaewon :(( i can’t believe she had to go through that heartbreak alone gosh i really wanted to hug her!! i hope we get to see more of her and jinsol though ;) very excited to see how you elaborate on that and how their relationship(?) plays out. also cannot wait to see how nayeon and mina deal with yoona’s sexuality!

side note, i was trying to figure out why sakura and haewon meant so much to me and then i realized they are exactly like my parents! literally the exact same: their parents being friends, meeting at a young age, growing up together, dating and eventually getting married (pls let sakura/haewon be endgame 🙁)

Gorou pays extreme attention to detail, as expected of him given his occupation and as required in baking, and as a result, he’s actually very good at it.

it was quiet and awkward at first, making sure the measurements were right and everything was in order.

then he knocked something over with his tail when he turned and that set off the laughter.

he is in charge of measuring out ingredients and the actual baking while he leaves you to do the mixing and decorating. or vice versa depending on how handy you are in the kitchen

shy, lingering touches when you both pass by each other. e.g. hand on the small of your back or tucking hair behind ears or out of the face and little tickle wars to get you to smile.

the look on his face when you threw a handful of flour at him was priceless - mouth ajar, eyes wide open and the ‘kiss the cook’ apron you made him wear now stained with the flour and whatever else he spilled over himself.

“here, taste this for me would you?” he would ask with a soft smile when he notices you’ve gone a little quiet again.

he pretended that frosting had gotten on your face once, only to swipe more on your cheek when you leaned in to let him wipe it away.

he tries to ‘discreetly’ eat a handful of chocolate chips when you’re immersed in your own task, but jokes on him, you do it too.

he lets you lick the spatula, even if he wanted to do it. he knowingly hands it to you when he sees your longing eyes.

not to forget the ever iconic, ever lovely image of him slow dancing with you around the kitchen while the pastries bake in the oven. he leaned in to kiss you at the end of the 3rd song only to almost jump out of his skin when the timer sounded.

either stands behind you and puts his hands over yours while you roll out dough and mix or allows you to stand behind him while he does, whichever fits.

he tells you to wait a little before tasting the cookies to let them cool, but if you looked behind you both you can see his tail wagging excitedly and looking at his expression - scrunched eyebrows and eyes sparkling with excitement - you can almost hear the conflict going on in his head.

bites into the sweet treat and hums before looking at you and offering you a high five, interlocking your fingers before they dropped and not letting go until you’ve finished the piece in your hands. or maybe 2 more.

“it’s delicious! good job love,” he smiles at you, kissing your temple, “let’s make something else next,”

he takes pictures of you, very focused on making sure the cupcakes swirls were perfect because of how adorable you looked, squinted eyes and tongue peeking out a little.

honorable mentions:

he also bakes quite a lot for you, creating new recipes to fit whatever diet you had to follow or whatever dietary restrictions you had. his only goal was to make you happy.

your family trusts him enough to share family pastry recipes with him, and it’s his dream to make it alongside you for your family one day.

the first time he tried writing happy birthday on a cake, it was a little askew, so he drew on flowers and swirls to mask it. the recipient still loved it.

But I think you're right!!! Shoto is so delicate, a real simple guy... and out of everyone, the most... prone to just being gentle and sweet in his affections. I can see him being attached to hand holding in any form, including just linking single fingers together and swinging them back and fourth... as well as those kisses where he like, holds your face, looks into your eyes, and just barely presses his lips to yours.

I also agree with Shinso, tho! He 100% gives the best hugs, and for some reason, I think, is really great to lean on. I imagine he does that thing, where, if you're standing around looking at something, he'll just come up beside you and wrap his arms around you so he can look, too. You know those couples you sometimes see, who aren't even gross but they'll just be standing really close together and/or holding each other? Like that!!! He really likes it when your faces are close together, too, so cheek/nose kisses type stuff is included, as well.

Weirdly though, I think... Dabi also belongs on this list, too. Obviously, it's less inherent than some other characters, but I think this is really how his intimacy manifests. He won't like, grab you or anything... but I think he'll put an arm behind you if you're sitting together, and/or his hand on the small of your back or wast if you're doing something close by to him. I mostly just see him as being someone who likes to keep a hand on you at all times... as well as likes when you wrap your arms around his neck. Gives temple/hair kisses :(

And similarly, even though this is less about intimacy, Bakugo... because I think a lot about how he probably really enjoys doing really mundane stuff with you, like laying in bed together, or watching a show/the computer with you. Little things that can be separate, but are just better with someone🥺

(...I also think he does the hand-on-you-thigh-squeeze in the car skldufjasjd)

Some honorable mentions, though: Kiri, who I think is a back rubber and a cheek kisser... and idk, Twice, too... because he just can't think of being anything other but gentle with you. Crying.
