A compilation of all of the queerbaiting (as far as I was made aware)

Thiel and Boerne lost, but I wanted to honour the pain the fans have gone through and compile everything that was sent in.

we got things like episodes in which they

shared an apartment

are jealous of other partners

have 'dates' together

have a 'brotherly' kiss

share sexuel comments and looks (for example one looks at the butt of the other one and says "nice pants" or one of them recommends food which helps with potency problems)

shared a shower

had a fake marriage

other characters calls them 'old marriage couple'

At the same times the actors and the tv studio gave us things like

pictures of them with a rainbow background

them hugging

on the DVD box they are wearing tuxedos and one of them has a flower bouquet in his hand

in the behind the scenes they call each other "Schatz" (Sweatheart)

the actors gave us a video in which they kissed

And these are not even all things that the characters and actors did. It became so frustrating that I stopped watching the show.

I know peope who aren't german have most likely never heard of them, but several milion germans watch this show when it airs, and this team is the most popular one. most people watching the show are over 50, so they don't want to scare them away, but they also need a younger audience, so they resort to (more or less) obvious queerbaiting.

in the episode itself several characters ship them, and make jokes about them needing couple therapy even after the marriage is revealed to be fake. And then everything that happened in that episode is forgotten about and never brought up in any other episode.
