My personal favorites are Coven Day and Flyer Derby <3 I really liked doing this because I was able to figure out some of the poses on my own with the use of references and also feeling a bit more comfortable with coloring, i really had a big improvement this year and i'm so proud of it 😭 so surprised i didn't draw huntlow lol.

Day 5 of Hootober!

Short story again!

Bard Coven

Luz looks at her device with confusion.

"What's up kiddo?"

She looks up to see Eda standing there. It's been a few months since they've defeated the Collector. Luz is living in the Isles and her mother comes and visit every weekend or so.

"Amity just texted me all excited about tomorrow."

"Tomorrow is Tuesday right? What can be special about a Tuesday?"

Luz ponders the question. "It's Taco Tuesday in the human realm." Eda rolls her eyes at her apprentice.

"You guys don't have any special dates coming up?"

"No, we celebrated one year together a few weeks ago, but that's it. I'm really confused."

Eda shrugs. "Well, nothing you can do about it now. What I suggest is you go to bed so your brain can shut off."

Luz laughs. "Yes mom."

"Darn right!" She ruffles Luz's hair and wishes her good night.

Luz is getting nervous.

"Amity is normally here by now. Oh no, maybe something happened to her? No, no Luz. Don't panic. Panicking always makes it worse." She thinks to herself as she paces up and down the hallway of Hexside.

Suddenly, Amity appears out of the corner. All Luz sees is her cotton candy colored hair and sprints towards her. She grabs her by the waist and twirls her around.

"Woah, batata. What are you doing?" Amity asks.

"I thought something happened to you!"

"Nothing happened to me. I'm okay. But you didn't even look at my outfit."

Luz looks at her and notices that her girlfriend is wearing her normal abomination leggings, but she's also wearing bard color undershirt.

*Gasp* "YOU JOINED THE BARD COVEN?!"

"Yep. I thought about it and I want to stay on the abomination track, but I really, really wanted to join another track. I talked with my dad and he thought that the bard coven was a perfect fit, you know, with us writing fanfiction and me working at the library and all." She smiles at Luz.

"I'm so happy for you and I know you'll do well." She plants a soft kiss on Amity's lips.

"Now, how well can you play an instrument?"

"Do I have to?" Amity questions.

"Yes."

"Now I'm rethinking my decision."

Luz laughs at Amity's misfortune, but promises to help her learn some sort of instrument.

Darius: if we've secured the safety of everyone we can, we should start looking for a place to hideout from the collecter.
