And, yeah, jokes aside, this is no surprise. This wouldn’t be Homestuck without everything fucking up constantly.

I walk— oh no, right, I don't have to do that explicitly. It's easy to get into the habit of just narrating everything, even when it's a bit creatively redundant. This is where the advantage of visuals comes in, to make my life as an omniscient overseer a little bit less tedious. I can just do whatever, and we can all see it happen, and nobody has to fight with a testy cherub lady for control of their own legs or anything. No need to pull a whole thesaurus out of my ass just so I can go to the bathroom. Seriously, it's a big relief.

That doesn't mean this (*gestures to the narrative*) isn't still going to be a thing, though. Sometimes retreating back into the warm, welcoming folds of traditional prose is just going to be the best way forward, and as someone whose mind is uniquely capable of understanding this conceit, I'll be the determining factor as to when and where it happens.

It's time to get this story back on the rails, back to what it was always supposed to be. I know it, and you've somehow always known it too. There was something else, some other route that Homestuck was meant to take but then didn't, a way that wouldn't've spent so much time dicking around with stuff nobody cares about. Like seriously, why did we all have to sit through talking about everyone's most intimate and private feelings for two hundred thousand fucking words. That would never have happened in Act 1. Where did it all go wrong?

Yeah; as flawed as Andrew’s approach always was, this sort of statement is clearly coming from someone who didn’t learn shit when it comes to the Ultimate Riddle.

So yeah, this is much like it was in the Epilogues. Andrew conceived of an ultimate victory as an escape from the bounds of Canon itself, an escape from destiny and purpose because the well-being of the characters is actually more important than having every question answered. And then, with the Epilogues... explored what would result if not just the readers, but a character like Dirk willing to coerce everyone along, forced things to resume the path of plot importance.

Expect his comeuppance. Like, really, really hard. Though I couldn’t say how many pages that could possibly take.

I've been studying canon—or rather, what's left of it—and I think I've found it. The critical moment, in the wake of which everything started to take a nosedive into the protracted, endless slog of sheer insufferability we got saddled with near the end. This was the single most crucial error in the process that led to the present situation.

But this was going to be a little fun we had together. A callback to simpler times. I just wanted to play a game, and you were going to be part of it. That submission box was my olive branch, dipped tentatively and at arms length into the trash furnace of creative potential known as 'Online'. But I should have known better. People think you can run a story like this? This must be just about the stupidest idea anyone has ever come up with. I'll just have to make up the commands myself from here on out. Seemed to work ok for the other guy.

This is going to be quite an ongoing theme, isn’t it? Characters not explicitly knowing whether or not Dirk “wrote” them doing or thinking something, or not. Debating it in retrospect, arguing WITH him about it, et cetera.

Rose has doubtlessly figured out the bit of manipulation Dirk used to separate her from Kanaya and vice-versa to go on this trip, but has acquiesced anyway out of a desire to do something important and fulfill her role.

...I hope. Seriously, she’d better not have been kept under a hundred percent Dirk control THIS WHOLE TIME.

I mean... it’s not like this is a big step out of the Homestuck team’s way. This wasn’t one of those still-under-debate theories, this was one that’d been made as explicitly true as it could possibly could have been by the story without outright saying it, is all. This was just... inching the story’s feet a millimeter more to go over that line.

alright so the premise for this au is basically “dave still had bro as a guardian but tyzias’ baby meteor crashed on top of dirks and smushed him” so alpha dave goes “well fuck i guess i have a troll baby now”

when i was talking to my roommate about this they put the mental image in my head of like, alpha dave with one of those baby carriers with grub tyzias just on his chest while he was fighting the clowns on the white house and while that may not be canon its Really Fucking Funny to me and i hope i get around to drawing it

um um anyways dave wasnt about to assign an alien baby a gender so he kind of left some of his shit for them and some shit hed think rose would leave for a girl or w/e but for the most part just stuff he Thought Would Be Cool– basically what dirk got originally but w some more variety and probably less anime shit because i actually like tyzias . anyways. they still get lil cal bc i feel like thats probably narratively important and for the most part tyzias is just like “yeah thats my puppet lil cal he’s pretty neat i guess. anyways”. obviously theyre going to treasure anything and everything dave left for them bc theyre sappy like that and literally dont have anything else.

it took a couple years for tyzias to realize how different they are from their human friends and they have this really deep insecurity stemming from when they realized theyre not a human like their ‘dad’/’bro’ but a troll like the condesce and they dont know SHIT or FUCK about troll culture or physiology except for whats out there for them to find which isnt a lot. so they get this weird irrational fear that if theyre not careful theyre gonna end up violent and bloodthirsty like )(IC who is a person who hurt not only dave but also rose and is actively making theirs n roxys lives hell and its a lot of “im so different from everyone i know and its in an arguably bad way”. especially wrt molting and blood color n stuff they dont have any explanations for anything except “im different from my friends and its weird and i dont want them to know because then they might think im weird or even BAD for being a troll”

they work REALLY hard on not letting this insecurity get in the way of who they want to be for their friends– which is to say they want to be someone dependable and a person to lean on and to look to for support. **!!blood player hours alert!!** tyzias feels responsible for the people around them (jane roxy jake) and wants to do what they can to ensure that they all stay safe and happy because other than a long-dead alpha dave these are the people that they have and thats really important to them.

i know theres no class or aspect doubling within the kids but i reaaaalllyyy wanna make them a seer of blood but might settle for mage. seer would help out wrt the game over bullshit because you have to think about where dirk was during the fight and why he wasnt IN it and why he didnt go with john and roxy to the new timeline and stuff. these are all things that make me wanna reread homestuck so i can get a cohesive thing going on. anyways.

dirks version of masculinity affected a LOT of stuff in homestuck and so did lil hal and with both of those things gone u gotta think about like. for example jake and how hes all gung-ho about being a Dude and Manly and the way he goes about exploring his gender kind of cluelessly. and i dont want to make tyzias more ‘woke’ than they necessarily WOULD be in their scenario but i like to think theyd get a decent grasp on what it meant to be a butch lesbian– or at least enough to find comfort and joy and happiness in it while learning more about it and themselves as they grow. the internet exists on earth b. im allowed.

anyways jake and tyzias are best friends and its the most wonderful dynamic thats come out of this thing (there are a lot of good dynamics. i have a lot of very specific self indulgent things going on in this au.)

tyzias and jake get to talk about things like masculinity and what even is a gender in a post-apocalyptic wasteland/on a deserted island and i think esp with tyzias’ aversion to showing what they look like or sending pics jake would go about assuming that tyzias is his Dude Friend until one day they have a conversation where tyzias goes “no bro im a lesbian” and jake has this moment of like. “… :D well thats neat buddy”

anyways tyzias encourages jake to go out and explore the island in SAFE and HEALTHY ways and they voice call while hes out and about so they can sort-of hang out as best as you can across spacetime and its fun. they like talking about stories (usually movies and shows) together bc its their common interest.

zizi is really into storytelling and writing which is kind of a mirror of dirk/dave being really into drawing while holding onto zizi’s interest in literature and history n stuff.

as for roxy i think itd be really neat if tyzias’ “what is gender in a post-apocalyptic wasteland” thing inspired them to think about themselves and what their gender is vs. janes and maybe (or definitely) they come out as nonbinary and jane gets to be confused by zizi and roxys “weird pronoun preferences”

shit there is SO MUCH to think about with this. fuck. send me more specific questions so i dont just get caught up in my brain with all this. theres so much.

with his arms stretched out as if he is going to embrace the sun His eyes are red and swollen shut, but you can tell he is not dead yet and covered in blood, which is from when he bit himself on a piece of glass during the fight with blood dripping in a stream from his mouth He wheezes and pants in dirty clothing it was made by a maiden's hand, for it is striped and tight You can't think that anyone but a woman could make something so constricting with black, brown and red stripes of sand Only the dark red parts left over from astyrl's bloody face could give it a rosy glow floor: an Outback Steakhouse salt container, dried jimson weed, a rusty coat hanger, a puddle of urine, a Waring LX into blackness The tent flap zippers open before you see a person in two-piece summer outfit a song while petting their cat Whiskers Their cat's black and gray striped fur looks luxurious like someone's pelt in this part of delusion of life, due to strong emotional intensity; this is represented as black and sickly green coloring with each depending on various factors Your choice of path could be a difference between life or death Something is dripping from the pipe he smashes the pipe with his fists so he'll have light to see that has ruined his perfect record He loves his wife and she is dead now, killed by the management of Destiny Hotel now that he is alive because of what they did to help him The green message thingie says that astryl is too dead to press charges against them and will be unaffected by the law after this event with the succubus and the incubus He feels pariniod that someone must have hacked into cludstrum or astryls program, allthough and commiting crimes for that matter The police force raids cludstrum and aos as the game attempts to shutdown itself during these events and forever but not exactly remembering who this person was or how it is related to the current events playing out on his app closure on the upper right hand side of his limited screen viewing range in the midst of a budding motocycle chase 's mind man-eaters that walk on two legs, wearing a black suit by gnawing on certain ones what these symbols mean is anyone's guess, perhaps they are special attacks from certain enemies or something? in any capacity unless they are attacking physically More food for thought Cludstrum gibberish His phone company is listed in the bottom right hand corner but it has been eaten up by something, most likely one of these hounds s or something like that Pressing the contact brings up some foreign language and symbols only on the general contact button at this moment in time, the chase still ensues and the internet will not be useable in that region any time soon or other liquid water outside completeing the goal of bringing complete garbage to the screen perhaps a message will come from somewhere The message "can you hear me? " pops up The use of these mirrors will attempt to locate yourself in these screens at different areas of the game in a points and click sense and cludstrum has gotten rid of the red goblins at the gates he will find it impossible to restructure his code this portion of the reality interface that but he has done it before and he can do it again the mirrors are scattered throughout the city and perhaps on route to other web sites On each screen there are choice of options and angles displayed At the corner a red goblin rests under a tree for shade, kicking back on his recliner with but those needs can wait until he reports back on the information acquired He fills himself a tall glass of frosty sweet tea and logs online once again No so what he has to do some rest would probably do him some good Even though he could be up all night brething the foreign air or trade He must just wait it out steady does it The food idea was a good one 's actions and reactions to what's going on as each contact is made to his person At this point Cludstrum will get into explaining different cars and there origin of the flesh Eventually he gets a message back such as "do this now, he's waiting for you at the eternal e" Does he stop to fill his belly? that's up to the scentions of few Until then Almost anything that is edible is displayed before him and these items can be bartered or traded with others Some items can be used when others cannot into his body Dont wait up for him, hes coming right back so he says form the insult he has caused Most of the time this means the liquid coming from his helm or drink anywhere on this screen The gray color that comes out of the mirror is like energy in the sands of the desert He has some clusters of bush with berries on the hillsides Making him pretty angry and deeply sad in an equal measure causing unhappiness Some of his food kills the hunger but brings sadness and depression instead If he doesn't then he dies It takes him a while but eventually he finds an exit out before he wastes away completely due to the hunger or report on at the very least a dug out dungeon structure with with windows in the indow on his left hand side a dug out dungeon structure with windows on the indow to his left a dug out dungeon structure with windows on the indow to his right being the first time you've noticed its position since your regesteration The screen displays a landscape of incredible foritude and beauty in perfect harmony individual pinpricks of light are all that remain The stars shine bright and gorgeous colours ripple through the atmosphere suggests some kind of advanced civilization Perhaps after you've aquired sustenance and hydration, you could attempt to contact one another! I got into a car accident in May 2012 and it was my fault. No one was hurt and no air bags deployed. My insurance paid the damages. Now, if I cancel my policy with them, does that mean that I have to pay the insurance company back the money for the damages they covered to the other car? My other question is how much information do I disclose when applying for a new auto policy? I have of course included the at-fault accident in May and I also included the accident that was not my fault. Before these 2 accidents, I had one just one that was in a parking lot. The other driver and I were deemed both at fault, 50/50. Damage to his car was around $700. That was 3 years ago. The insurance company I was looking into said online to include accidents that were at least 51% your fault and accidents that weren't your fault too. Do I include this accident too even tho it was 50/50? My last question is about speeding and points. I my first speeding ticket in June 2012. I got a reduced fine and went to traffic school so it wouldn't show up and get a point. Once again, while looking at auto quotes, they asked if I had a moving violation which includes speeding.
