I could’ve sworn I saw you agree with someone who said they don’t make sense

But nvm I adore them

JSKDSK I do ship hizzie. And I did say they wouldn't make sense in one of my posts but just because Hope was clearly in love with Landon to a point it was kinda obsessive - in my own opinion, handon was not as toxic as fans make it out to be. And I don't think Lizzie actually realizes how important she is to Hope and viceversa.

But I think it's quite easy to see the chemistry and actual feelings between Hope and Lizzie, and they were clearly closer than hosie and I believe Hope liked Lizzie a lot more (but this is perhaps influenced by the fact that I dislike Josie so I don't know.)

They're both immortal, and now that Landon is out of the picture (his ending was completely unfair tho) I can definitely see their romantic feelings for each other just increase more and more until it blows in their faces and they get married and have a thousand of kids.

The moment Lizzie both healed Hope and gave Hope a level up with god magic.

When Lizzie closed her eyes was the moment when she wasn't just healing Hope, but giving Hope a fraction of Ken's god powers.

Lizzie reaffirmed this to Hope twice in this episode when Ken tried to throw it in Hope's face that she was alone but she was the first one to stand beside Hope and remind her from this moment onwards, Hope Mikaelson will never be alone. By Lizzie's own choosing and free will.

This confidence and the powers that Lizzie bestowed on Hope have helped Hope level up in the power levels of a god. (I AM VINDICATED).

(Imagine if we had a whole season to this god plotline instead of speedrunning it because the writers know they might not get a renewal).

Plus, we all know to a Mikaelson a vow of being bonded with them for their immortal life practically means they're Mikaelson Married Now. Sorry, I don't make the rules.

And then can we admire Cleo Sowande, Queen, coming in clutch with her beautiful coat?

Look at the yellow of Hope's eyes, it's similar to the yellow of Cleo's Fury magic and Ken | Zeus's lightning magic. And look at how Cleo stabbed the spear through Ken, in an almost mirror image of how Ken | Zeus impaled Lizzie on the gates of Salvatore school.
