You always had that one plan in your life: meet a nice guy, date for 2 years, marry him with the most extravagant wedding dress someone could imagine, and after that, you get three fat babies whom you will love and dote on.

The only problem was, as a nurse on a military base, you didn't meet guys capable of this lifestyle. You hated to see all these men trying to get in your pants while they were married.

"Why are you in the med again, Johnny?" You scolded him. Of course, you found the Scotsman funny and liked his daily visits, but still, having him here all the time felt like a lost puppy when you had work to do.

"Look, Bonnie, have a mean scratch, need stitches from ya."

"Is that so, Mr. MacTavish?"

"Yes, Bonnie, look." He showed you a scar on his biceps, and you sighed. You knew he was only coming for something else; no soldier went to the medical just because of a scratch. He started to flex his biceps.

"Johnny, that's barely anything."

"But ya always fix me good, lassie." He looked at you with puppy eyes, and you sighed, disinfecting his nonexistent wound. "Such a good caretaker, lass. Need to put a ring on ya before someone else does." You blushed at the thought of marrying someone like Johnny. He was handsome, funny, and super strong, but he was a flirt, probably flirting with every other nurse. Besides, you had a date today.

"Johnny, stop flirting. I have a date today."

"Just a date, lass. It's not like you'll marry him."

You stared at him with a dead glare. "For some people, dates are important, Johnny!"

"Who is it?"

"None of your business, and now leave," you scolded him, annoyed by his noisy behavior.

"We agreed that no one can have her since she doesn’t want to share, so who of you tossers broke the agreement and goes on a date with her?"

"How do you even know that mate, if you didn’t break the agreement too?"

"I just needed her to take care of my injuries, Kyle."

"Bullshit, you barely got a scratch. Admit that you wanted to break off the agreement too. Admit it." Gaz barked, walking towards Soap to pick him up by his shirt.

"Enough of you, Muppets!"

"You broke the agreement, Captain, didn't ya? Telling us all about the agreement and then taking out my future wife."

"I didn't, and even if, she'd be more happy to become Mrs. Price than Mrs. MacTavish."

They were so close to fighting; everyone accused the other of taking you on that date. They remembered the first day they saw you; all of them were smitten. You were just too precious, full of love and excitement. Perfect hair, perfect body, everything about you was perfect for them. You could walk with your greasy messy bun, and they’d kneel for you, promising you’re the most beautiful woman on earth. After a while, they noticed how every one of them was smitten, how Johnny spent every minute in the infirmary, Ghost becoming your shadow, protecting you from every danger of the world without you even knowing, the Captain always treated you better than every other staff member, you had more off days, better shifts, and even better pay, and Kyle bringing you always your favorite coffee and a bunch of pastries when you overworked yourself again.

Johnny was the first one to ask the rest if they’d be open to a poly relationship. He was the most open about his sexuality, and having Simon and you was the perfect thing for him. Whether the reasons why they agreed to try to court you in this relationship, every one of them thought you only deserved the best, and that included being worshiped by four muscular men.

Unfortunately, your best friend, who noticed their goal while you still stayed in your naive bubble, popped their bubble, telling them to sod off. You weren’t made for this kind of relationship; you were jealous and liked the idea of monogamy way too much. You only wanted to have one husband. That's how the agreement started none of them will pursue you, and they will only start something with you if you approach them, no more flirting, favoritism, or looming over you.

Nonetheless, they gave a fuck about their agreement, behind closed doors still trying to court you in various different ways, but how could they not? You were perfect, and they were obsessed and way too much in love with you to let someone else have you.

"Where the fuck is Ghost?" Kyle asked, looking around for the scary man with the skull face mask.

"Fucking hell, he is her date."

"Sick bastard."

Soap walked into Ghost's barracks, eager to scream at his best friend. He was the first to love you, so Ghost should not have gone on a date with you without telling him. The betrayal felt immaculate, his best friend with the love of his life.

"Aye, Lieutenant, heard you're going on a date with the lassie."

"Johnny, it just happened."

"No hard feelings, LT. Where are you taking her?"

"Alfredo's."

"Oh, okay."

Simon looked confused at Johnny. "What's wrong?"

"Take her to a better place a steakhouse or a fish restaurant. Give her a real meal, not something cheap. Lassies love this fancy shit."

"Thanks, mate."

Your date with Ghost was okay. He was brooding over something, and as he insisted on ordering something for you as a surprise, despite you telling him no, he did it, wanting to be a posh bloke who knows what his lady wants. Soap said you liked this fancy shit and heavy meat and fish.

As you looked disgusted at the filet steak, trying not to be rude by saying you're a vegetarian, he lost it mentally, not with you but with his best friend, who betrayed him just for you. He'd do the same, of course, but it's still different, right?

The date went on way too cringy, Simon spent most of the time apologizing to you for the messed-up date, and you tried to reassure him that it was okay. When he brought you back home, he asked if he could stay the night, and you politely declined.

"Johnny, I'm going to rip your fucking head off."

"Aye, shit," Johnny screamed as he began to run.

"The date went shit, I guess?" Kyle asked, unfazed by all the screaming from the two men fighting. He acted as if he didn't let slip the information that she is vegetarian next to Johnny or told Price she liked roses after she told him for 20 minutes straight how they are overrated. The best part was no one even suspected him; he was calm about the situation, not trying to solve it with violence like Johnny and Simon. While the others played checkers, he played chess to get you.

"Yes, it was."

"I told you muppets, I'm the one who deserves her."

"Shut up, Price," Ghost scoffed.

"I think so too, Captain should have her. At least he treats her well," Kyle said with a boyish grin.

So the Captain asked you out on a date, and after some convincing, you agreed, making yourself ready and waiting for him in desperation. You looked great, hair curled, mascara applied, and in a dress that was classy but a bit sexy. You knew Price could be a guy for this, maybe a bit too old, but still, you could grow old with him, and maybe he would give you everything your innocent heart desires.

After waiting for an hour, you were sure he wouldn’t come. If only you had known that Ghost was faking an accident and Soap's promise to tell you about it, not to let the sweet angel wait for the Captain. Soap was already on the way to play the knight in shining armor, fully confident to finally sweep you off your feet and make you the future Mrs. MacTavish, his sweet little angel. Oh, how the boys would look to know that he got the heart of their sweetheart finally.

Too late.

"Hey, lovely, why are you sobbing? Do I need to punch someone for you?"

"It's embarrassing, Kyle."

"Tell me about it."

"Just had a bunch of weird dates. One wanted to only bed me, I guess, and the other stood me up," you sobbed, looking into Kyle's pretty face.

"Oh, love, you know that all these guys around the boys are head over heels fighting over you like wild animals."

"Never."

"They are, how couldn't they? You're perfect."

"You're a flirt, you know that."

I’ve been contemplating serial killer!Eddie. I love him soooo much (even tho he be a murder bby) and would most likely fall for whatever he says cuz I be naive, don’t get me wrong, but I just can’t imagine being completely blind to what he’s up to. Like…I don’t mean knowing exactly what he’s doing, but there’s gotta be some little tells that just makes you go “hm…that’s weird” or “that doesn’t add up, did he just lie?”. And maybe sometimes instead of shrugging it off, those little worries just nag too much in the back of your head that you feel you need to have a talk with Eddie. I mean, the kind of conversation where you come home early, probably a bit unannounced (you usually give him a call when you’re about to clock off work) —maybe even when he has a victim guest over, yikes—and just worried out of your mind because these feelings have really been bothering you for a while. They keep you up at night wondering what Eddie is doing…is he seeing someone else? Are drugs or other illegal things involved(😏 there is but ya don’t know that)? Why has he been so secretive lately?

And could you just…imagine Eddie actually comforting you. He feels bad that you’re actually upset so he starts saying all the right things you need to hear and doing all the right things you need him to do (while his guest is just chilling out, mind you). Just trying to make things right because he loves you so much and doesn’t want you to be upset (but especially doesn’t want to expose you to what he’s really been up to—he knows that would be “the end” to the relationship and that would kill him). What would an actual argument be like with serial killer!Eddie? Normally, I’d say pretty terrifying cuz serial killer + anger = not too good ending, right? But, would it be different since it’s Eddie?

*You finally ask Eddie the question you’ve been dreading*

You feel like your heart is going to beat out of your chest as you hear the front door open and close letting you know Eddie is home. Eddie smiles as he walks into the house and sees you sitting on the couch in the living room, he drops his keys on the table by the front door and hangs his jacket up on the coatrack. You stand up so you can turn and face him and the look you give him makes the smile instantly drop from his face.

“What’s wrong baby?” Eddie feels his heart sink to his stomach as the possibility that you found out his dark secret begins to creep into his mind. You take a step closer to him and his eyes go wide as he sees a shirt in your hands, a very specific shirt he was wearing while doing not so nice things to a man named Jeffery about a few days ago.

“How long have you been cheating on me?” Eddie wants to let out a sigh of relief but he knows better so he just takes a small step towards you with his hands reaching out for you. “And please don’t fucking lie to me Edward.” It’s the way you say his name with almost a hint of hatred that makes his heart want to break.

“I’m not cheating on you sweetheart.” You just shake your head as you toss the shirt at him making it land at his feet.

“Then explain why there’s a mysterious red stain on the collar of your shirt that looks an awful lot like a tacky shade of red lipstick.” Eddie bends down and grabs the shirt so he can look at the collar and when he sees the few smeared drops of red he can’t help but roll his eyes because how the hell did blood manage to get on his collar he could’ve sworn he was careful. “Don’t roll your eyes at me like I’m crazy.” Your voice is dripping with hurt making Eddie instantly regret his actions.

“It’s just blood baby.” You take a step backwards when Eddie takes a step towards you with the shirt still in his hand. “I swear I’m not cheating on you.” Eddie hears you sniffle letting him know you’re close to crying so he takes a few more steps and grabs your arms before you can move further away from him.

“It’s just blood? How did blood get on the collar of your shirt Eddie? Please explain that to me.” You pull your arms out of Eddie’s hold and cross them over your chest as he lets out a sigh and runs a hand over his face.

“I work at a plant baby and things happen, I must’ve cut myself or something.” Eddie knows by the way you roll your eyes that you’re not buying his excuse. “It’s not lipstick.” He snaps making you jump a bit since it’s very rare Eddie ever speaks to you in a harsh tone. “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to-” You turn and head into the kitchen making him take a few calming breaths before he rushes after you.

“I’d know if you cut yourself.” You begin washing the dishes in the sink as a way to busy your mind and keep yourself from crying. “Just tell me the truth Eddie.” He watches you grip the edge of the sink as your shoulders drop. Eddie slowly crossed the length of the kitchen so he’s standing right behind you.

“I’m not cheating on you Princess.” Eddie reaches out and gently places a hand on your shoulder so he can turn you around so you’re facing him. “It’s just blood.” Eddie feels his heart drop when he sees a few tears roll down your cheeks. “I don’t know how it got there but I swear that’s all it is.” He explains as he reaches up with both hands to cup your face so he can wipe away the tears from under your eyes with his thumbs. “I love you so much.” You reach up and place your hands over his that are still on your face.

“I love you too.” Your voice is low as Eddie leans down and places a kiss to your forehead. “I’m sorry for jumping to conclusions.” Eddie just shakes his head as you look down at your feet now embarrassed that you even accused him of doing anything bad in the first place.

“Don’t do that.” Eddie drops his hands from your face so he can place them on your shoulders as he bends down so you’re now looking him right in the eyes. “You had every reason to be upset okay? I’m the one who’s sorry I should’ve explained the stain to you the moment I got home and needed it cleaned.” You let out a sniffle as you rest your head on Eddie’s chest making him wrap his arms around you.

“I love you.” Eddie smiles at you when he looks down and sees you looking up at him.

“I love you too baby.” He responds before placing a kiss to your lips. Eddie feels the guilt begin to sink in as you wrap your arms around him in an attempt to pull him closer to you, he tries to shake it off as he gives you a squeeze and places a kiss to the top of your head. He knows one day you’re going to accuse him of doing something horrible and he’s not going to be able to lie his way out of it because it’s actually going to be the truth.

-He gave you back your cane and apologized, and asked why you use it. So when you explained that you had her because you were blind, he felt like a piece of trash for having treated you that way

-You got another scare when he said he was Hanako-San from the bathroom and got defensive again (It took him half an hour to convince you that he really was Hanako-San and not some pervert)

-You made your wish for him in exchange for being his assistant, now the two of you have created a special bond! Yay!

-A VERY special bond…so special that you created a loving relationship

-He's a sweetheart boyfriend, who doesn't stop teasing you and pulling your buttons to see you flushed in his hands

-Hanako helps you clean the bathroom sometimes and takes you to boundaries with him, but relax as he is protecting you at all times

-When he goes to meetings with the mysteries, he orders the mokkes to keep you company

-Then he steals their candy to give it to you because you deserve it 💕

-He's always hugging you and likes to give you naughty kisses all over your face, but he also likes to pull you into one of the bathroom stalls to kiss and hold you properly. He's also a bit messy but kind

-Hanako loves you very much and doesn't like the moments when he has to be away from you

re parent regret article.... recently got my mom to admit she and my dad are deeply unhappy and the only reason they got married and had kids (in their early 20s, and it has dictated every moment of their lives since) is because it was what was expected of them and they felt like it was just the thing to do ... its very upsetting to think of how unhappy and unfulfilled my parents are but at the same time its kind of freeing because I understand a lot of their actions better now and their inability to raise us and give me the care I needed. this year I am older than my parents were when they had my oldest sibling and I kind of feel like im older than them now because theyve never fully grown past that point at least not as individuals. ya I suppose everyone has their paths in life and it all fits together and works and means something but it is very sad to realize your childhood was painful because your parents were really just not suited to be parents and couldn't have done any better. im trying to not be weighed down by their lack of self actualization and to be an example for them by manifesting my life in the way I want despite them being upset by it, and to encourage them to become real people now that theyre 60.. umm ya sorry your inbox has become my therapy sessions recently it just feels so much better to confess these things anonymously and write it all out to someone instead of trying to explain to someone face to face and have it deal with their responses. plus i think u understand a lot of my issues although objectively our lives are quite different! anyway yeah hope you have a nice day!!!! xoxo 2012 :3

it is really crazy to think about the pressure ppl face to start families , seems to be less prevalent now but yeah even 20-30 yrs ago it was just, What You Do.. for my parents, they were in love, and i think they rly did want kids, they were together for 5 years before doing it they planned it out, i DO believe they were soulmates. but then once the reality set in idrk there was just this disconnect. my dad was the more nurturing parent, and he had kids from a prior marriage so he knew wat he was in for, i think he missed my brothers a lot so he had perspective. i assume anyway. but he was also major alcoholic which i thought was normal for so long (in england it is i spose). that took up a lot of his time. i know so little about him or his inner workings its quite torturous to me lol.

and my mom is still alive but i know so little about her too, other than stuff i learned thru drunken outbursts. when i try to ask her anything remotely personal or emotional now she stonewalls me so hard :/ she's always just been closed. her childhood was Horrific tho like both her parents were still minors when she was born, her mom is a WW2 orphan and her dad was a delinquent forced to enlist in the navy instead of being sent to juvie. all the stuff she HAS revealed to me abt her life is absolutely bats**t. its awful like i genuinely can not feel a single morsel of bitterness towards my mom knowing wat she's been thru.

that being said i WAS extremely angry at her for a big portion of my life its been a journey to unravel. but at this point i feel so much forgiveness idek how i got here or when. but i love her unconditionally! i also feel that my moms self actualization was rly stunted, not even by having kids but by my dads death, and being left with these kids she has to care for alone, oh god if i try to imagine how she felt it turns my insides to stone. like it really fractured her soul and made existing problems spiral out of control. although that being said she is doing WAY better now in comparison to the past, im rly proud of her. when we talk i try to always encourage her like u say..

really the best medicine is being able to zoom out and view the big picture of Life, not just your life but how all our lives fit together, when you zoom out you can spot the patterns find the order in the chaos. for ages n ages i cldnt understand the reason everything in my life was hell while all these other ppl i knew seemed to have it so normal. Nowadays i can understand how it lead me here, the trajectory and timing of everything, it brought me a lot of EXPerience i can use to help others..Even just by having this blog where i can talk about vulnerable topics , ppl tell me it helps them, i begin to see a new sense of value in my endured sufferings. if i feel like im healing someone that heals me ..

Hello! Hope you’re doing well!! I’m not sure you’d like followers to respond to/ interact with your posts w your thoughts in the tags but I just wanted to say that I totally agree w your thoughts on Coryo and Sejanus LOL. Im v surprised (tho I guess I shouldn’t be given how old I am at this point + the no. of fandoms I’ve been in) that people can read them so differently from the novel. Coryo is an unreliable narrator and that makes it kind of fun to read because his pov shouldn’t always be taken as the truth. In fact I think it’s fun to read how differently his peers view him/ his r/s w other people vs what he himself perceives. Sejanus is such a nice, sweet boy and it’s kinda sad that other people don’t read him that way just because the book is filtered through coryo’s thoughts haha. He’s kind and dares to stand up for what he believes in… I think the saddest thing abt his story is that he was genuinely trying to help others directly but unfortunately the people he spoke to weren’t the most honest/ dependable (I don’t think the stuff with the rebels would have gone down well) and he also trusted Coryo (I don’t blame him cause Coryo was the only “nice” person in the Capitol) 😭 I suppose that’s also how difficult it is to deal w people sometimes IRL (in extreme situations). Anyway ya just wanted to share my thoughts :x feel free to ignore if this isn’t something you’re ok with!!

hi nonie! i'm absolutely okay with followers interacting with my tags and posts/coming to talk about this stuff with me! as you can probably tell i've got a lot to say about this stuff - i'm just a chronic in the tag poster lol.

because suzanne collins wrote the ballad of songbirds and snakes in a third person point of view, i think that readers have taken to assuming that what they're getting is an unbiased narrator, when in fact we are still very much getting a biased point of view from coriolanus. sure, we are distanced from his thoughts--not exactly seeing things through his eyes as we did with katniss--but that doesn't mean we don't have access to him and that his thoughts aren't distorting what we are seeing. i've thought a lot about the reasons suzanne collins might've chosen to use third person pov when she used a first person pov for the rest of the novels, and i don't think there was one definite reason. some of the brilliance of suzanne collins' writing lies in the fact that you do have derive these meanings for yourself at times. personally, i like to think that she chose to use third person pov because this story, while very much coriolanus-centric, belonged to characters like sejanus plinth and lucy gray, too.

the fact that this book came out during the trump's presidency isn't at all lost on me. i think what suzanne collins was saying was: look how badly this system failed this once privileged white boy. for all intents and purposes this should make him angry, and here are these district kids who have suffered just as he has. he can relate more to them than he can to any of his capital peers. he knows what it is to hunger and suffer and fight for your life every day, to be made to perform. when coriolanus turns his back on sejanus plinth and lucy gray baird, it is so tragic because he was meant to side with them and yet at the end of the day he turned his back on them because he wanted to be with 'his people.' he upheld this system that had so failed him because he thought people like lucy gray and sejanus plinth were primitive and less than because that's the mindless shit he had been fed his entire life. this is exactly what happened during that election. i've seen countless white people, who are every bit as poor and destitute as the immigrants that seek to come to this country for help -- if not more -- turn their back on them and support trump. even the poorest of whites think they are better than the richest of latinos or black people because this what their systems teach them, and it makes them feel good to think that.

i think that's why sejanus was district 2 turned capital. i believe that this was commentary on how, no matter how far poc and/or immigrants come, these white people will always view them as less than and that the system will never be forgiving of them. i do genuinely believe that coriolanus thought that sejanus' parents would save him in the end, and the fact that they couldn't was so shocking because he had, up until that point, seen the ways wealth had benefited plinth. he could not conceptualize a world where wealth wouldn't get a person what they wanted because he did not know what it was to be district. they did not see sejanus plinth, heir to the plinth fortune. they saw a district rat, a nameless, faceless traitor to kill. it is no surprise that coriolanus snow climbed to the top on the back of sejanus plinth tragic ending, because that's simply what happens every day.

i do understand and don't absolutely hate the conversations people have surrounding sejanus' privilege and what he chose to do with it/ what he chose not to do, but i think to consider sejanus an annoying, selfish character is erroneous. he was a boy who knew that this system would never favor him and was trying his best to envision a world where it might, and yes he did make stupid rash decisions, but at the end of the day what killed him was coriolanus snow and snow's desire for power. sejanus plinth was not stupid for trusting coriolanus snow, either; coriolanus snow was evil for betraying the boy's trust for his own self-serving agenda.

it is hard to live in a world like this. even as a white woman with a mexican father, i have have had to experience the kind of things sejanus did with people talking poorly about him and his family behind his back, and openly to his face. i am not accepted by either side and never will be, just as he wasn't. i will say i do experience immense privilege because of the color of my skin, and i won't ever pretend that i don't know that, but that's what i'm talking about: no matter how much i look like them, and act like them, i will always be a mexican's daughter and i am happy about that fact. i am mexican as much as i am white but it doesn't make the fight i have to struggle because of it any more fun.

Ok so first of all. My main man you do understand you can’t claim you actually made the “art” you “made” right? It’s AI generated.

That’s law dude. You didn’t make any of the “art” your showing off. Anyone can come post it anywhere and claim it with no repercussions because quite literally. NO ONE MADE IT. It was made by AI. A robot. Not even the company can claim it because it was their bot that made it. Not them.

Lastly 👀💦 and this is no like jab to you at all but. Why not just draw or write this stuff yourself? It’ll always come out 1000% better than AI no matter what level you’re starting at. I mean dude. Ai can hardly render hands or complexity 90% of the time. Not to say I can either but like 👀 bro. Plus it always looks… the same. Like you can pose things however you want but it’ll always have that ai sheen to it ya know. No real heart or soul to it. You’re literally feeding a bot when there are so many artists out there that can be benefiting from this that would be willing to put everything they had into it (shading, dynamic posing, lighting, backgrounds,) for a few dollars or experience if you know them and ask nicely enough.

yes, you are totally right. it's wrong for someone to claim rights over something an AI did, specially if it's supposed to look like art or a drawing.

however, i never did that. you probably saw my pinned post or the watermarks i started adding to the images, and I suppose that's why you sent me this, but just to clarify things, i do not care at all if people repost those ai images. like, I really don't. I've seen them being reposted countless times, specially on pinterest and i don't claim to have "created" them. all i said I did was write a prompt and the ai generator did all on its own. I made that very clear more than once.

I had an issue with that one specific creator I talked about on my pinned post because they were doing exactly what you're saying, they were claiming to have spent HOURS working on those "edits". they even said that I STOLE them. and when I confronted them, I made it clear that those were made in seconds.

and that's exactly why I started adding the watermarks. I didn't wanna do it in first place as I've said before, but it really pisses me off, you know? when someone tries to get clout for something that they didn't do. the watermarks prevent that from happening again, since they make it clear that it's ai generated. I mean, it literally says "made by ai".

also, i understand the issue regarding all that ai art thing, i really do. but those images are not made off art tho... you can tell they are realistic, since (as long as I know) the ai used real images (of real people, taken by cameras) that are available on internet. I'm also very against those ai arts too, that's why I never post any art looking images (or even if they're slightly artsy) that the ai generates from time to time, because I'm very aware that they steal from artists. I mean, i'm an artist myself. I'm not "feeding" a bot because... it feeds itself.

when I started posting the images, i was just trying to have some fun and share it with the fandom, I don't benefit from this at all. i mean no harm, and honestly, it's not that serious. if you don't like how it looks, well, you can block the hashtag "ai" (I always tag my ai images posts with it) and you won't see it again. you can even block me if it's not the type of content you're interested in, no hard feelings at all. anyways here's a screenshot that shows that I never took any credit for any of the images:
