disappearing posts fix:

seen a few people ask about disappearing posts that appear on your blog but seem invisible on the dash, its happened to me twice too and i THINK i’ve found the culprit: 

when i edited out a png icon from my ‘invisible’ reply, the post appeared on the dash, and when i tried to edit it back in, it disappeared again. this might be tumblr trying to check posts for spam before letting them go public, and i may have triggered the filter by posting several posts with png icons in them in a row.

i re-added my icon later but this time in jpg format, and the post is still on the dash, so this might be the solution! posting this as a heads-up for yall.

Somewhere around 1 in 100 people living in the Gaza Strip prior to October 7th are dead. Even after a ceasefire, people are going to continue dying because of the destroyed infrastructure and because of perfectly treatable injuries that won’t be attended to in time or with the resources necessary. Israel doesn’t “provide” resources to Palestine. No colonial settler state “provides” anything to the indigenous populations it commits genocide against. It deprives them because that is what is necessary to maintain the colonial settler state.

Anyway, what annoyed me just now in the first place was seeing the comment section of a musakhan recipe where some smug zionist said, “cooked on electric or gas stovetop with energy provided by Israel!” Aside from the obvious assholery, it made me fume because Israel isn’t fucking providing energy to Gaza right now. This is exactly why Israel has control of the energy resources to begin with, so that they can enact this kind of collective punishment on the people of Gaza. What kind of cruel, ignorant cunt do you have to be to tout the state of Israel’s “generosity” right now?

Anyway, here’s the response from the person who filmed the musakhan video (chefjjskitchen on instagram) to that Zionist:

Whenever i draw SB lab art, if he's got short sleeves and Dark eyes its chuuya and short sleeves with crazy contracted eyes it's cloneboy! If chuuya's wearing a. longsleeved nightgown it's Chuuya from schoolkoku au!

So the mechanics of Corruption are a little strange because N wants chuuya to say the trigger phrase presumably to "factory reset his mind" but in order to actually activate Corruption he needs to wear the ability proof anti-mindcontrol hat BEFORE he says the trigger so that his mind doesnt get wiped in the process.

To continue on Corruption, if N was intending to get Chuuya to actually activate it, then there COULD be a way for Chuuya to stop it himself. I don't buy the idea that Chuuya's been literally coded to respond a certain way to the words, but maybe it's true that he's been conditioned/brainwashed in a way. In any case it's not lile Verlaine's Brutalization.

The point at which somthing reaches an infinite value is essentially a singularity, for black holes i think its when the center becomes infinitely dense bc the gravitational pull becomes infinte. My loose memory of physics concepts aside, If chuuya's base ability was enhancement, then Corruption is triggered when the enhancement gets activated on himself, and he's get closer to death when the gravity of his ability gets closer to infinity. I think if Chuuya ever dies, his ability would like. Explode out of him into a giant black smoke hound thing. A massive BEAST emerges in the wake of his death. Gwahh so edgy.

Like ghhh i think if he never managed to leave the lab he WOULD see N as a caring father figure to look up to. From what we know about N he isn't clinically detached, he's very hands on and manipulative. And we also know that chuuya WILL latch onto any form of kindness and devote his LIFE to uphold that. He'd think of N as his parent.

Most of my skk aus involve Chuuya experiencing the Horrors and Dazai is the pov character who goes through comparitively more realistic trials. I follow Asagiri's formula 👍

More abt hallucinations. That scene was definitely supposed to draw a parallel with him and Atsushi i think btw. So i hc he has issues with night terrors and audiovisual hallucinations, no matter how much he ignores his trauma he wont escape these till he faces it head on. Anyways i think he encounters "ghosts" a lot. The Flags, people he may have killed. Murase really frequently, and N when he gets stuck with sleep paralysis fhh. One he minds the least is Rimbaud actually. Rimbaud's "ghost" is never unhelpful but not one he regrets too much either. Rimbaud's last words to him DID fundementally impact the course of Chuuya's life

Either way he gets bad insomnia. Perpetually has reddish under eyes. He uses makeup lately. The edgy red eyeliner to fit his vibe. Bro is so tired.

Chuuya gets injured easily and a lot but he walks it off like A Champ. Perks of an inhumanly good pain tolerance. Also he gets chronic migranes and pain in general.

He actually smiles a lot. He tries to be really expressive when he talks to people, and if he isn't annoyed or half zoned out he'll try to appear friendly. This doesn't apply to School au or Analog au chuuya, those two girlies are still learning the muscle movements for smiling.

I headcanon Chuuya to be singularly the coolest character in bsd ever and no one can compete. Chuuya won an Oscar.

To say today wasn't a good day would be an understatement. 

The second you woke up you could tell how the day was going to be. You had decided to take your pants off during the night due to how hot the apartment had gotten, which was a bad idea. 

The sight of your legs made you want to turn inside out. You couldn't even keep the lights on in the bathroom when you decided to finally take a shower. Even slightly looking down made you want to throw up. Everything just felt wrong, and strange, as if you were wearing skin that didn't belong to you. 

Making your way out of the bathroom you see your boyfriend happily asleep. His stupid American flag boxers made you giggle slightly as you looked at him. 

You should not be jealous of him, you know that. It makes you feel horrible when you look at him, but it's all you can think about. You should look like that, you should have been born like that, but you weren't. 

The heat in the apartment is lost on you as you throw on a sweater and sweatpants, making your way into the living room to hopefully focus on something other than your running thoughts. 

Sweat begins building up on your neck as you sit on the couch, searching for something to watch ov tv. 

Bucky walking into the room doesn't even register to you until he flops down on the couch. 

“Morning baby.” You smile a bit as you finally find something to watch. “Morning.” 

Bucky's hand is suddenly covering your forehead as you attempt to get comfortable on the couch. “Baby you're sweating a lot, are you feeling ok.” You nod with a smile, praying he doesnt see through it. “I feel fine, babe.” Bucky's face tells you everything you need to know. “Why don't you take that sweater off, it's supposed to get really hot today.” Your attempt at coming off nonchalant is ruined as you move around uncomfortably. “Really babe I'm fine.” Bucky is clearly not happy with that answer. 

“Baby, you're sweating. You're gonna give yourself a heat stroke or something.” Rational thinking isn't something you care to listen to as you finally look at Bucky. “Buck, I'm fine.” “No, you're not.” Silence fills the air between the two of you before Bucky finds his words. “Why are you wearing a sweater in the middle of summer?” His voice is soft, almost worried as he attempts to get closer. You try to keep the tears forming in your eyes down as you take a deep breath. “I just don't want to see myself right now.” Bucky nods as he finally seems to understand the choice behind your outfit. 

Instead of leaving you to sweat all day like you hoped, Bucky takes your cheek in his hand. “Listen baby.” You can already tell whatever he's going to say is going to make you cry. “I know it's really hard for you, and that I can't understand what you're going through. But maybe we can find something better for you to wear, just so that you're not sweating.” You can feel a single tear fall down your cheek that Bucky quickly wipes away with his thumb. “You don't need to wear all this just to feel better, just talk to me so we can work through it.” Instead of talking you nod, knowing that if you tried to talk you would end up sobbing on Bucky's lap. 

Bucky follows you to the bedroom as you look for something to wear. “Here! Wear one of my shirts.” He smiles, handing you a large black band shirt. Bucky probably didn't even know what the band was, he just thought it looked nice. 

You throw your sweater off, happy to finally have it off you. The second Bucky's shirt is on you, you feel him wrap his arms around you, leaving small kisses on your neck. “I'm not really sure what to say to make you feel better, but I hope you know you're really handsome.” You smile slightly to yourself as you mess with Bucky's hair. “Thanks Buck.” Bucky smiles at you through the mirror as he drags you back to the open apartment. “Now lets make some breakfast, im fucking starving.” You laugh at him as you follow, feeling at least a little better than you did before.
