Okay been working on this for a while. I’ve been looking at the actors and trying to pick out who’s who so here is a mostly completed Seating plan of Keating’s Classroom based on pure guess work.

I’m pretty sure this is correct based of the images of the entire classroom

And then I’ve tried my best to get the names for all the boys. There is 19 out of the total 20 boys’ names on the imbd so somebody was forgotten and I’ve just made a guess.

Here’s the names. Red is a name I’ve headcanonned because there was a name missing, blue is ones I’ve guessed at from actors appearances and names in the credits and Black is ones I know for definite. Spencer has a different name in the movie but I changed it for obvious reasons. He also has been called Allen I believe which is also a cool name.

From what I know, Shroom is the darts guy that I think has been given the fan name Daniel Ham Stanley and “ace” was the boy playing the recorder during the scene where Neil stole Cameron’s work and runs around the room. The other boys watch while “Dewey” claps along.

Edit: the boys that stand on their desks at the end are Jonus, Shroom, Russell, Hopkins, Stick, Spencer, Meeks, Pitts, Knox, Todd.

Hopkins Birthday Special 2024

Belated Happy Birthday to Hopkins! 🥳🐰🎂🎉

Hopkins the blue rabbit is the star in my little animated video, he's a character from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, a popular social simulation game for Nintendo Switch. He's one of my favorite villagers from the Animal Crossing franchise and what's the best way to show my love and appreciation than to create a cute and sugary-themed animated music video dedicated for him.

Finally finished this within 3 weeks. I know Hopkins' birthday was last March 11 and I'm more than a week late to post this. I was overcome by the deadlines of work that I barely got time to complete this personal animation right away. But better late than never, March is still his birth month so at least I was able to finish this before it ended.

I hope you enjoy this short music video! Storyboard, rigging, roughs, animation and effects done by yours truly. It was an enjoyable experience. 😊

Ringing in the New Year on Strike

After labor negotiations broke down between Minneapolis-Moline and the workers at its Hopkins plant in late December 1938, the workers staged a sit-down strike. They brought in food, cots, and necessities and vowed not to leave the factory. The problem was that by New Year's Eve an agreement had still not been reached. What were the striking workers to do? Have a New Year's Eve party in the machine shop, of course!

Talented workers provided entertainment, including a one-man band and a small orchestra. Strikers competed in wrestling and boxing matches, while a play-by-play was broadcast by microphone to revelers in the plant and the Hopkins neighborhood outside. For dinner, the workers shared a sausage and sauerkraut feast. At midnight, the coming of 1939 was marked on the factory clock.

The strike continued well into the new year. With arbitration in progress, the strikers returned to work on February 8.
