We zouden net gaan eten toen Piep en haar vriendinnetje Anne kwamen aanlopen. Ik dacht nog, die zijn mooi op tijd voor het eten, toen Piep wild gebarend voor het raam ging staan, met haar handen een vloeiende beweging naar buiten makend alsof ze een steeds grotere vis had gevangen. We moesten meekomen, want er was iets open, begreep ik.
Ik gebaarde haar naar binnen te komen, want we gingen eerst…
