Tbf i think Guerrilla has been wanting to do that with aloy for some time now, Talanah was def going to be a initial choice for romance, Aloy MOST DEF had something with Ikrie in Frozen wilds, very alike what we got with burning shores tbh, and thats not to mention the flirty scenes with characters like Vanasha and Petra, Seyka was the culmination of all that, cant wait to see the many choices of love interest Aloy will for sure have in the next game lmao, bring all the ladies

I completed Horizon Zero Dawn, and it was probably the most beautifully well written piece of media I've ever consumed. The story had me in its clutches the entire time, and Ashly Burch was fantastic in giving Aloy her voice. The way Aloy is written is going to be a constant thing sitting in the back of my brain because she was SUCH a beautiful character. I can't wait to explore more of this universe in the Frozen Wilds expansion and, of course, in Horizon Forbidden West.

When the vast majority of people meet Aloy, they either see her prowess or have heard of her before. Erend meets her at the Proving. Varl meets her after she survives her wounds. Sylens hears through HADES. Talanah sponsors her as a hunter. Zo meets her after Varl talks about her. Kotallo fights with her against rebels. Alva sees her kill a bunch of soldiers. Beta watches her get away from the Zeniths.

To most people, she is something beyond Aloy. Annoited, Savior, Champion, Ancestor, Elisabet. Their first impressions are ideas of greatness.

But Seyka? The first thing she sees Aloy do is tumble out of the sky. It's cool that she's riding a machine and all, but come on. That was not a graceful glide down. Aloy rolls her ass out of the sky and falls face first into a bunch of sand. And then proceeds to be the worst at flirting throughout the main questline.

This is a long way of saying that I love Seyloy so damn much

So my father - who is, unfortunately, a Trumper - approached me, and began talking about this 'new woke video game' that was apparently terrible and how I wasn't allowed to get it (never mind the fact that I'm an adult with my own income) so I wouldn't support the leftists that made it.

I looked at him for a moment before raising my arm. "You know the tattoo I've had for two years?" I asked, pointing at it. He scoffed and nodded (he doesn't believe women should get tattoos but that's a whole other can of worms). "Yeah, it is literally based on that video game. The quote looks this way because it's the game's font. It's that game that I was ridiculously excited for last February, the one I talked about for two weeks straight. So, idk, but I think we're well beyond me not supporting it."

He pressed his lips together before muttering 'fine' and playing casino games on his phone.
