NEVE CAMPBELL has announced that she will not be returning for the next movie in the SCREAM franchise, making the sixth installment the first one without Sidney Prescott. Campbell cited a pay dispute as the reason, which prompted former costars MATTHEW LILLARD and JAMIE KENNEDY to express their opinions on the matter. Lillard compared Campbell to TOM CRUISE returning for the recent TOP GUN sequel, while Kennedy pointed to the fact that the franchise has changed hands: "It's crazy that the people behind the scenes are not paying the money to literally the face of the franchise. It's people who weren't involved from the get-go. This is everything that's wrong with the business." Kennedy added: "Neve is the final girl".

Livescreamers was featured in today's Genreblast coverage from Bloody Disgusting! Also featuring a new still of Chris Trindade and Evan Michael Pearce covered in uh...pancake syrup. You think I'm joking but that's what it is.
Just 8 more days til the world festival premiere in Winchester, Virginia!

But they have delayed the Saw sequel because Saw X was too good.
Now the viewers have expectations of quality films.
The Saw producers did not expect this.

Based on a true story
The Shadow in the Mirror
In a quaint, old house nestled on the outskirts of a small town, lived Sarah, a young woman who had always been fascinated by the supernatural. Despite the warnings from her neighbors about the house's dark history, Sarah couldn't resist the allure of its eerie atmosphere.
One stormy night, as the rain battered against the windows, Sarah found herself drawn to an antique mirror in the attic. Its ornate frame seemed to beckon her, and she couldn't tear her gaze away from it. As she stared into the mirror, a chill ran down her spine, and she felt an inexplicable sense of dread wash over her.
Suddenly, a shadowy figure appeared behind her reflection, its eyes gleaming with malice. Sarah's heart pounded in her chest as she tried to turn away, but she found herself frozen in place, unable to escape the gaze of the sinister entity.

Hellraiser 2022 Is Good But Not Without It's Faults
Hellraiser just dropped on Hulu and it's a remake of the 1987 classic horror.
The film was distributed by Hulu and it's available to stream right now.
Jamie Clayton, Odessa A'zion, and Brandon Flynn star in this new take.
This update is more closely related to the original source material than the first Hellraiser film and they did a great job with the androgynous nature of the cenobites and the Priest character.
The designs of the cenobites were some of our favorite parts of this.
Technically speaking, there's not much wrong with this. The CG effects are fine. The practical effects are great. The acting was fine. Jamie Clayton did a great job as The Priest.
There isn't much substance regarding the story. It's pretty straight forward and it seems like they planned it that way. This is a great film to show people who are hesitant to get into deeper horror lore but want to get into it without it being to intense for them.
Hellraiser 2022 isn't pushing the limits on the gory side. It's enough for those horror lovers like us but it's not too overbearing so someone who may be new to this side of cinema could definitely get into and enjoy!
Check it out on Hulu to decide for yourself! If you have seen this already let us know what you think!
