HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH?
AS I DRAG MYSELF TO THE EXIT
I FEEL HORROR CRAWL UP MY THROATREALIZING
I HAVE HOARDED MYSELF POOR
I WAS BORN CHARITABLE
AND I LET MY NEED
CONSUME MY SATISFACTION

I made myself pretty today,
as nice as I can be,
in your favorite mask, my dear,
so that you’ll let me leave.
The skin I stretched is dewy fresh
The clips all match my dress
I know you want my back exposed
and that you’ll be impressed
I’ve woven this with warp of flesh
And wefts just like your brother.
His tendons feel like luxury
You’ll never want another. :)

Image description: a digital ink illustration of a feminine humanlike creature viewed from behind as she moves away, glancing over her shoulder. Her skull face has a partial skin mask stretched over it. She’s probably wearing a wig. Her skin is covered in vaguely anatomical patterns, while she wears a slinky dress.
If you vibe with this vibe, consider following me. I’m usually funnier. 1 like = 1 brother-in-law vivisection for fashion’s sake

An angelic face,
Amongst his gang
Foolish you, thinking he’s out of place
He looks your way and you feel a pang
Heart calling out for him to chase
Two souls begin to move without a trace
Finally walking side by side with a mystery man
Guided by the moonlight
Unknowingly playing into his plan
He’s certain you won’t be a fight
Hand in hand under slated boards
Away from the boardwalk’s hoards
he’s simply playing before the hurt,
But you accept his flirt
You’re ready for a kiss,
Moment interrupted by menacing hiss
He sinks his teeth into your neck,
Because he knows
No one can save you under the deck

Beautiful Death
—after Botanica No. 23 by Gail Potocki
Bursting.
I am bursting at the seams. From within me, a rustle of leaves.
My skin severs, there becomes two of me. It stings, this gruesome separation of being.
Cold air floods my open wound, and I begin to bleed.
Blooming.
A buddling, from every last pump of my heart; each beat, a sproutling in the cavity.
Desecration pollinates my bloodstream. Death parrots the stench of beauty.
Begging.
There are roots in me and they are plenty.
I cannot contain them all, who must I beg for mercy?
Even in death, they will beautifully defile me.

CLASS WINDOW༄
By yuriko
I looked through
the class window
Out there, is where
Is where shadows lurk.
In the dark,
All around places
Like the park.
Outside that window
Is where danger is.
That’s why we must
Mind our business.
Go on our ways
Before the shadow
Behind you
Stays.

Writetober, Day 7- Skull
Okay, I was a day late. I was sick. Sorry. Also I wrote more generally about bones. Sorry Xakumi.
**Edit: Aaaaaand I spelled something wrong in it. It should be piles instead of pulls. Damn it.

Tall Handsome Stranger
A tall handsome stranger rode into town
We wish he would have stayed one
I saw his eyes from
Miles
Away
Two stars lower than they should
He had no horse
But the thunder of hooves followed him
Teeth carved from marble
Skin of vellum
He stepped over the inn
And was at Bernard’s farm in
Two
Strides
He stooped under the barn door
To grab a bull
In his palm
“Be not afraid”
A chorus whispered
Nothing left but coals
It stands now for weeks
Outside the parish
Waiting for
Something
Children play in its shade
I heard cicadas buzzing under
The vellum
Shuddering
Skittering
It doesn’t breathe
It
Only
Weeps
Mud pools beneath its feet
God help us if it doesn’t stop

Feminine Urge
A budding rose now wilted with decay
Plucked from the ground and put on display
Adorned with thorns like razor blades
Your filthy skin I must lacerate
Possessed with unquenchable thirst for your unholy ichor
Flourishing while I only get sicker
I’ll decimate the aggregate of everything you hold dear
Screams of agony I can't wait to hear
May bloody rivers flow like the tears I’ve cried
Solace and serenity the day you die
