in a surprising turn of events, tonight i realised that olly ( @frvckles ) and milo’s sun signs have been my rising and moon signs respectively for all this time without me even knowing

Oh so Milo really is an asshole huh...

first  and  foremost  .  .  .  yes .  i've  never  claimed  otherwise .  he  has  layers ,  yes ,  and  can  be  soft  under  certain  circumstances  (  or�� if  it  helps  him  get  his  own  way  ),  but  milo  is  not  nice . 

milo  is  a  narcissist .  and  not  in  the  glittery  " i  love  myself "  kind  of  narrative .  milo  stands  firm  that  everything  is  about  him .  he  is  entitled  and  rude ,  and  while  these  things  do  all  stem  from  very  deeply  hidden  insecurities ,  that  does  NOT  excuse  his  behaviour .  i  really  disagree  with  milo's  attitude  and  treatment  of  people  who  he  comes  into  contact  with ,  but  he  is  driven .  he  gets  what  he  wants ,  then  moves  on .  because  as  soon  as  people  get  to  know  him ,  he  runs  the  risk  of  faltering .  nothing  frightens  him  more  than  people  seeing  what's  underneath  the  pretty  and  perfectly  poised  persona  and  hating  what  they  find . 

deep  down  milo  is  just  terrified  of  people  leaving  him ,  so  he  leaves  them  first ,  because  at  least  then  he  is  the  one  in  control .  since  his  father's  relocation  to  france ,  his  mother's  absence  of  nurture ,  and  his  first  boyfriend  and  love  of  his  life  cheating  on  him ,  abandonment  has  been  an  integral  part  of  milo's  life ,  twisting  his  development  out  of  shape .  he  was  a  good  kid .  bright  and  full  of  potential .  and  sometimes  that  shines  through  but  not  nearly  often  enough  to  redeem  him . 

tldr ;  yes  milo  is  an  asshole .  no  he  doesn't  pretend  to  be .  but  god  do  i  love  him  nonetheless .

ok my laptop charger broke on thursday and i’ve been stuck on mobile since, and i hate tumblr mobile so i haven’t really been checking in much ._. but i’m trying to source a new one so hopefully i’ll be back soon ??
