Fire at Osterley Cricket Club sports pavilion
Eight fire engines and around 60 firefighters from Southall and Heston Fire Stations were called at 2:37 this morning to tackle a blaze at a sports pavilion at Osterley Cricket Club in Tentelow Lane. Station Commander Brett Loft, who was at the scene, said: “Crews worked hard to bring this fire under control. Due to the weather conditions the fire has created a lot of smoke in all directions and nearby residents are advised keep their doors and windows shut.” The fire was under control by 6:57 this morning. Firefighters are likely to remain at the scene throughout the day damping down any remaining hotspots. Super lecture !
Je ne connaissais pas du tout cet auteur et pour le coup c’est une bonne surprise !
On ne retrouve aucun cliché du genre le bon et le mauvais flic, le flic un peu ripou ou le vieux flic aigri. Rien de tout ça, on as droit à un super groupe d’enquêteurs dont aucun ne prend le dessus sur l’autre. Cet aspect donne une tournure assez réaliste à ce livre.
Ce fameux groupe est à la recherche d’un tueur sanguinaire (et c’est le cas de le dire !) et très méticuleux qui ne laisse aucune trace derrière lui.
L’histoire est très bien écrite, un peu prévisible mais c’est pardonné vu la qualité globale du livre) et surtout très rythmé !
Bref j’ai adoré ! Vraiment un auteur que je relirais sans hésitation.

Mr Noisy was right on time last night and was quiet when he ate his almonds! Jenny seemingly had a good night! I didn’t sleep well and didn’t notice her being restless! We left later for a walk planning it so we could get to the oval when Jessie and Harry were ready to walk home! It worked well as she was happy to see her friends although a bit confused that there was no off lead play! It’s a bit sensitive but she’s taking her tablets and she allowed me to rub the cream into the hotspot without growling! Different story last night! Today we distracted her by letting her clean out what was left in El Gato’s bowl with GK at her head while I did the deed! One to me!💊🧴✔️ Good girl Jenny! She’s outside sleeping next to her feline friend Toscanini! I’ll invite her inside later when she’s ready!
