I love the dream smp and love the fan content even more, but sometimes its easy to tell that its not anyones real passion project, especially now that people are losing interest in it.

The crafting dead is a minecraft roleplay series made By SgcBarbarian and TheGhettoGamer during 2014 October.

It was left unfinished after 13 seasons and multiple collabs with other minecraft youtubers such as Aphmau, NewScapePro, YourPalRoss, Mithzan, RedVacktor, SkyDidMinecraft, Shubble and others.

The series had a simple story that usually involved the characters winning at the end but despite that it still had amazing plot twists and at the end of the day always yanked on your heart strings.

Alot of my opinion on the series IS nostalgic and biased but it still holds up well for a 2014 minecraft roleplay that had no actual story at the start.

Theres not alot of fan content but the little thats there is good for something that was 70% made by 10 year olds 6 years ago.

Sometimes the story feels slow and like its not moving at all but the big episodes always make up for the little ones.

Since it's Halloween I decided I'm gonna bring up a series that I've hyperfixated on so intensely that I added some changes, replaced some bad people (Jinbop and Sky/Adam) and just won't let go

Redstoner is a old roleplay/series made by Yourpalross/House_Owner

It starts off as a simple series where Ross is making redstone machines in a sandstone flat world with a red sun in the sky

But then things start getting weird..

It's revealed that the sun never sets, Ross never sleeps and how lonely he is, soon friends start to visit him one by one but they never end up leaving the flat land, Ross, so desperate and sleep deprived, locks them away so they stay forever, even if they die

He starts eating redstone, something is talking to him, and in one video a demon creature thing spawns and takes him to a hallway that leads to a demon and 2 doors

One takes Ross back to the sandstone, the other sets him free

Ross chooses the wrong door and the cycle repeats

A never ending story of insanity, possession and madness..

before i move forward, if ANYONE even REMOTELY close to any of the people impacted by SkyDoesMinecraft ever saw something I said defending them, I am sorry. I had no fucking clue. I defended him for shit that wasn't fully out. I was prepared for the day where shit came forward and it turns out the situation was worse than I thought. but I didn't expect it to be this fucking awful. I respect everyone so fucking much for speaking up, something Adam is to much of a fucking coward to do.

I didn't know he verbally abused their employees. i didn't know how much Sky covered up about Jinbop. I didn't realize they pressured other content creators to stick with them.

i am sorry to Alesa, Ross, and Max for looking past what I knew about their case the most. The receipts weren't out there even if Max and Ross did speak about their experience before. Alesa i'm just. flabbergasted at my ignorance for. and im so fucking sorry, even if i dont know any of these people and they'll never know me.

Fuck Sky. They are an abuser. they're a manipulator. and with this many people against them, there's no hole they can dig their way out of.

A recent decision moving forward

I forgot to talk mention it on here, but I need to. If anyone cares to know/cares to read what I have to say then keep reading. 

If you follow me, you might have noticed that my profile picture is skydoesminecrafts old channel icon. It pains me to say this as I used and still do greatly enjoy their videos, but I will be changing it. Now, this may not seem like a huge deal, and you may have already scrolled away because I’m rambling. But with this change also comes the change in content that I’m going to write. I will not write for skydoesminecraft, team crafted, or any involved with them such as sky media offices or whatever it was called. This is a late post, as everything came out a while ago but I feel this necessary to say because it’s important to acknowledge. 

Adam was a huge pillar of the community back in the day, and I bet that more than half of the people who watched minecraft videos watched theirs. They were outed as an abuser, a rapist (not sure if that’s the right word but it’s the one I’m going with), and a manipulative person who uses those around them for “help” while continuing to perpetuate the bad habits that they needed help with in the first place. And this is all coming from their old friends, people they’ve made videos with and even their ex wife and ex girlfriend. 

While I know that no one is going to care, it’s important that I say here that I don’t condone their actions, I do not support their actions, and I will not allow anything connected to them to exist on my account or any accounts on any other platforms. I will be working on getting mention of them completely erased from my account, save for this post. If you’ve read this far, then thank you. It might not matter to anyone but me, but it matters a lot to me.

the redstoner series by yourpalross is literally the scariest i have ever seen someone manage to make a minecraft role play like literally go watch it right now, it’s horrifying. shame that most of the original episodes have been lost, but there are some wonderful people out there that tried their best to archive them!

what is redstoner and should i watch it

Redstoner is an og minecraft series! It's by YourPalRoss, formally known as house_owner. Previous employee to both Aphmau and SkyDoesMinecraft. also former voice actor in uhh Mystreet (before aphmau did what she did best and replace/drop him without warning)

It started off as a parody of bad minecraft redstone tutorials, but slowly it built up into a more comprehensible and dark storyline.

The influence of it still is in the modern mcyt fandom, what with The Red Sun Never Sets being one of the biggest hermitcraft fics/aus, and many comparisons being drawn between Redstoner and the Egg Arc on dsmp.

I personally recommend it, a lot. It's nothing to graphic or disturbing but it does get a bit out there and be upsetting to some. But its oddly one of my comfort series and one i watch frequently.
