It's been hot here and I've been running the AC a lot, which Miss Urist finds Too Cold. Naturally the solution to the problem is cuddles.

She also had her claws trimmed today and was a very good girl about it!

Happy Year of the Rabbit, or Year of the Cat if you use the Vietnamese calendar!

In light of this upcoming dual animal citizenship for the year, I have dressed up as a bunny and enlisted Miss Urist's enthusiastic assistance. Funnily enough, I'm a Cat/Rabbit, having been born in 1987. I don't put any stock in zodiacs, but it's an interesting piece of trivia to know. I've actually known about being a Cat before I knew about being a Rabbit - how my Lithuanian-American mother knew about this relatively obscure-to-Westerners variance in the lunar zodiac's cycle back in the early 1990's is something of a mystery to me.

Regarding the movie, I just had the mental picture of Luigi in your AU using the mini shroom on Bowser so he can get to carry his kooky Koopa boyfriend around for once XD

Huh. This might end up being Luigi's pet turtle instead of Peach's.

Now I just have the mental picture of Luigi taking Bowser out of the castle to sort of 'rehabilitate' him (aka: teach him how to be somewhat normal, lmao!), and he just sits on Luigi's shoulder and hisses like a snapping turtle at anyone who gets too close.
