#how are you gonna look at polnareff and avdol asking each other out

Can I ask for a story in which Jotaro wants to confess but he just doesn’t know how to since the reader is just a kind and gentle soul and he’s the total opposite, and the crusaders, especially Kakyoin and Polnareff, give him advice on how to confess to the reader? 💕
ask and you shall receive anon :>

The night had fallen, blanketing the world in a veil of starlit darkness. Besting 2 enemy Stand users, the Crusaders took solace in a remote island on the Red Sea just before traversing to Egypt.
And sitting around the warmth of a crackling bonfire, the group rested that night, each having their own way of spending the provided spare time- Joseph speaking with a Speedwagon Foundation personnel regarding a method of transportation, Avdol shuffling through the dusty books from a nearby cabin, Kakyoin and Polnareff engaging in a hearty conversation-
And Jotaro listening to you sharing more lighthearted bits of your past to him with a flow akin to a fountain smoothly letting out fresh water to cool his tired and dried-out mind. Though admittedly, he found it harder and harder for him to pay attention.
Was he to blame when all he took in from you was your soft soothing voice calming his ears, the contrasting gleam in your expressive eyes, the genuine smile formed by your pink lips?
All those pieces of you had impacted him in some way or another even at the start when you met at that rooftop. Back then, he found you confusing yet intriguing. Midway in the trip, Jotaro found himself caught in the light of comforting kindness and understanding seeping through your outgoing bravado, one that touched his heart no one could.
And he ended up completely enthralled, compelled to make you happy and safe in ways he could the moment he witnessed you breaking down into complete vulnerability and you opened up to him about your abusive past. You had thanked him wholeheartedly with tearful eyes and it struck him.
For the first time, Jotaro admitted to himself that he wanted to hold you close for a long time, to be with you even after this journey ends and they returned to normalcy.
He… liked you.
But how could he say such thing to someone such as you? You were so different from him; Where you were the warm sunshine in a blossoming spring, he was the chilling wind in a frigid winter. The headstrong angel and the lenient devil. The yin and yang.
The social darling and the reclusive delinquent.
Would she even consider someone like him as hers? It was a hard tell because you got along with everyone so well, but at the same time, you were sensitive to intimate, romantic relationships. This is hard. I can’t see what I can do in this situation.
While all his turmoil boiled within him, someone tapped him on the shoulder, bringing him out of his trance. “I’m gonna speak with Avdol and Mr. Joestar for a moment, alright?”
Blunt as ever, he spoke without looking. “No one’s stopping you.”
You smiled and left to join the older adults as simple as that, leaving him to wallow in his newfound feelings by himself. He watched you skip over to Joseph and Avdol just as the old man finished his call, opening communication while they discussed it elsewhere.
Jotaro sighed a deep exhale, nearly groaning to himself as he hunched over with clasped hands. “This is harder than I thought…”
“Hey Jojo,” he lifted his head by a bit to frown at the ever-intruding Frenchman Polnareff and his fellow batch mate Kakyoin. “You looking a bit worked-out. Everything good?”
“What do you want?” Jotaro asked, short and sharp. He still had to deal with accepting these sappy feelings in him; the least he wanted right now is 2 other people adding to his problems.
He followed the cherry-haired student’s movement as he sat down beside him with a knowing smile. “If I were to guess, I’d think our delinquent friend here is stressing over a certain girl in our group.”
Jotaro clicked his tongue. “You shut--“
Though before the delinquent could curse at him, Polnareff let out a prolonged “ah” of amusement. “Ohoho, is this what I think it is?” He plopped himself on the other side with a giddy demeanor that soured his mood. “Could it be… monsieur Kujo is finally realizing the classic j’ai le béguin towards our mademoiselle?”
“The fuck are you saying?”
“It means you’re finally accepting that you have a crush and much like in your fashion, immediately act on it,” Kakyoin supplemented with a pat on his shoulder, to which the raven-haired shoved off with rapidly warming cheeks.
“It’s not like that--“
“Non non non non~”, Polnareff wagged his finger sideways. “Deny all you want but you can’t fool a man hailing from the City of Love itself. I know and sense what a smitten man looks like from a mile away.”
“Besides, if you refuse to listen to Pol’s words, take it from me,” Kakyoin said. “Ever since our first boat ride, I’ve been keeping tabs on you and Y/N and we really can’t ignore the fact that you consistently… hover around her a lot like a satellite.”
Jotaro looked elsewhere, trying to recall whether he made the conscious decision to do that, but the student continued to his dismay. “And from what I’ve seen when it comes to her, you’re attentive to her needs and complacent to her sudden sparks of joy that would’ve annoyed you if it was someone else.”
“Right!” The Frenchman snapped his fingers. “Don’t forget how his eyes had this certain look of fondness one would give to a lover, and how he smiled more often when she’s around!”
It was one thing to come in terms with what his heart was telling him, it was a whole other thing hearing those words from his friends. As they kept on rambling on and on about all the lovey-dovey details they observed, Jotaro couldn’t stop his cheeks and the tips of his ears from fuming in embarrassment.
Was I really that invested in you Y/N? You made me do all these stuff with you and I somehow didn’t realize?
Visions of you flashed in his mind- a self-made film reel containing numerous moments of your flushed cheeks and radiant smiles directed at him, your confident and determined poise alongside your Stand faced against his enemies, your vulnerable figure pressed against his firm body with his gakuran draped over your shoulders, puffy cheeks, fluttery lashes, kneading hands, pouty lips-
Jotaro buried his face in his hands, thoroughly ashamed of his current state. “Fuck.”
“Called it,” Polnareff said. That smug piece of shit.
“What should I do then?” The delinquent snapped, dropping his hands to face his companions. “How do I make… this go away? I’ve tried everything from ignoring it to rationalizing it, but damnit it’s still here.”
“Have you thought of confessing?” Kakyoin suggested.
Jotaro cocked his head. “Confess?”
“Oh you know, where you approach the person of interest and say how much you--“
“I know what a confession is dumbass,” the raven-haired spat at an unfazed Polnareff who merely shrugged off his insult. “What I meant is how would that help me?”
“Well… you get to express yourself to the love of your life and at the same time release all those pent-up emotions within you instead of bottling it all in,” Polnareff said. “It’s hitting 2 birds with one stone!”
“Knowing you, I’m actually surprised you haven’t confessed earlier,” Kakyoin continued. “You seem like the type to get things done as soon as possible- you know, the directly-saying-I-like-you-and-waiting-for-feedback type.”
They had a point. Jotaro was aware he’s fully capable of saying his mind if he wanted without any filter and he could just say he liked you and your company, but when it came to you, it was more complicated than an average confession.
You’d been through a lot-- living through a toxic childhood, witnessing death, and coping through numerous betrayals- both platonically and romantically. Would that make me selfish if I were to say my feelings for you without considering that perhaps you needed more time? If I were to confess, would that make things awkward between us?
Would you grow distant because you weren’t interested in someone like me-
“Hey Jotaro!” He blinked and faced the Frenchman. “There you are again with the overthinking! Whatever you have in that brain of yours… stop.”
“Think of it like this,” the cherry-haired student crossed his arms. “Just say how you feel and wait; if she’s into you, then great. If not then… you shrug it off and remain friends.”
The delinquent scoffed, unconvinced. “Easy for you to say.” Sure, he hasn’t been in a relationship before and is shit at it to begin with, but at the very least he had some awareness of the side effects resulting from a friend-zoned confession.
“When you think about it, our reserved buddy here needs some tips on how to get-the-girl.” Jotaro side-eyed the adult beside him with clear judgement, to which said adult eyed him in return. “What? It’s better than saying ‘I like you’ as your usual overly crude self.”
“I don’t--“
“Alright listen up.” Polnareff slung his arm over the student’s shoulders with determination plastered on his face. “The way to ensure guarantee in winning a girl’s heart is to find a secluded area that’s scenic to set the vibe.”
“And then…” Jotaro cocked his brow, admittedly waiting for the continuation. “You whip out the flowers, speak your heart out and say- ‘Je n’arréte pas de penser a toi ma chérie!’ And then the fireworks explode, the crowd bursts into applause, and the musicians start playing in the back--“
The whole sentiment of the overly romantic French got cut short with a solid whack behind the head by the most anti-romantic in the group that was Jotaro himself. “Shut the fuck up with that. You’re not helping.” Polnareff pouted, rubbing the smacked area with puppy eyes.
“Since our friend here is too ambitious, perhaps I may pitch in an idea that could work better for you.” The delinquent turned to face his other side, hoping someone with a more gentlemanly attitude could provide actual tips.
“Pol’s right in one thing and that’s heading somewhere private. When you get there, you ease your way into the confession by starting things off with casual dialogue-- you open up a topic, maybe about the surroundings or a hobby, she returns it by talking about said topic, and vice versa.”
“And then-“ Kakyoin pointed a finger up to emphasize a point. “Weave that conversation leading up to the confession once you get into her good spirits. Finally, all you have to do is just say something in the lines of ‘I wanted to tell you something. It's a little hard for me to say, but I think you should know that I have feelings for you.’”
“After all, nothing’s more genuine than a simple statement of truthfully expressing your love without being too direct and sudden.”
The cherry-haired student probably thought he contributed something given how smooth and proud his tone was while addressing his “tip”, but Jotaro simply held the other student’s bicep and said--
“Kakyoin… look me in the eye. Do I look like I’m able to do whatever the hell you just mentioned?”
And his friend took one good look at him—an overly tall and awkward 17-year-old, with a face that screamed ‘I’ll beat you up’ on default, who barely knew how to sustain more than one sentence without involving battle tactics or corny one-liners.
With that assessment in mind, the cherry-haired man read his mind and let out one “ah” and left it as is. The Frenchman let out one short laugh. “Yeah Kakyoin. Clearly my idea was--“
“Same goes for you too dipshit.”
Said Frenchman let his mouth close shut.
“Jotaro! I have something to tell you!” All three men looked up to spot you skipping past stray shrubbery and trees until you paused before the delinquent. “Avdol introduced me somewhere that’s amazing. You have to come with!”
You peeped at the other two sitting beside him and flashed a shy smile. “Excuse us,” You reached to grab Jotaro’s wrist, prompting the latter to stand without question. “But I have to borrow Jotaro for a moment if you don’t mind,” you said, addressing both the raven-haired and his friends.
“No problems with that Y/N! Take your time with him!” Polnareff exclaimed, making hand gestures to shoo the both of you away.
You beamed and turned to your grumpy friend with an excited smile, tugging lightly at his wrist. “You’ll like it. Trust me.”
Jotaro’s cheeks might have warmed yet again as he turned his head elsewhere to cover it up. At least the private place is secured. “Let’s just go.”
Like an obedient overgrown wolf pup, the delinquent allowed your hold to remain around his wrist as you half-dragged him through the numerous tall grass and plant-life, careful to not trip on any protruding root or large stones, until you led him out a line of trees and onto a clearing.
And honestly, he was amazed even if he didn’t look like it.
It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary. A lone, lit lamp hanging on its post stood within the spacious area, providing the tiny hill in the middle of the island’s forest cozy amber lighting underneath the night sky filled with countless tiny stars.
You let go of him and walked over to sit at the middle, patting the ground beside you as you looked at him with expecting eyes. Jotaro huffed and complied, making himself comfortable on the dirt.
“When I said you’d like it, I was actually just making that up in front of the guys to look more confident, but I’m not sure if you actually like it. If anything, I might have just dragged you here for nothing.”
“I like it,” he said in an instant, not giving you a moment of doubt. He glanced at you and offered a small, reassuring smile. “Don’t worry.”
Your cheeks turned pink and sighed a breath of relief. “Here I thought I was being a bit much again.” Both of you sat in comfortable silence, your heads turned up to gaze at the sky, watching the stars twinkle amidst the darkness.
“Avdol said this area’s one of the spots near his cabin where he could meditate or read a book in when he was younger. It was nice of him to suggest a place like this out of the blue.” You reached your hand up, motioning as if it was wading water. “It reminds me of something…”
Jotaro watched you engross yourself in your sightseeing with quiet fondness, letting Star Platinum out to hover before you with wide eyes as he bowed his head.
You gasped for a second and in the next, you giggled in delight letting your fingers comb through the Stand’s flowy hair. “Jotaro, I have the night sky in my palms!”
He didn’t say anything in return, his mouth fixed as an uncharacterized smile of adoration directed at your joy. His cheeks stayed warm and his heart raced in his chest, and it struck him then. Confess. Let your feelings out.
With one wave of goodbye, Star disappeared into his user, leaving both of you alone with the gentle breeze and sounds of crickets faintly chirping in the evening.
“So,” you said with your head leaning on your shoulder to look at him. “Do you have anything to share in a beautiful night like this?”
“Uhm… I…” Shit. Fuck. How should I do this? Kakyoin and Polnareff did approach him about the topic, but none of them provided him a proper flow on how to execute this process. Should he just go for it? Or should he stall for more time?
For the first time in a while, Jotaro fumbled over his words with squinted eyes-- a habit he does whenever he gets flustered. “I… want to… I mean…”
His attempt of making a proper sentence stopped when a hand rested atop his on the grass between them. The delinquent stared at your hand, shifting to the soft smile on your face. “Do you want me to go first?”
He nodded once, gaze never leaving yours despite his embarrassment.
“I don’t know how to put it in a way that won’t cripple me with cheesy cringe and possible regret, but I might as well rip the Band aid off and get it over with.” You took in a deep breath and he felt your hand tighten around his.
Jotaro waited patiently for your words to continue, even as you broke eye contact and stared at your lap. “Ever since we started being friends, I… may or may not be feeling something when it comes to you…”
His breath faltered and his eyes widened at the revelation, a tiny huff of disbelief leaving his throat. You… had feelings for him?
You didn’t seem to catch his change in expression when you laughed nervously, shaking your head in a complete flustered mess. “I-I mean, that’s just my personal feelings or maybe I’m just feeling sentimental, o-or maybe I was too caught up in the vibe of the place I started blurting random shit—”
His lips curled into a knowing smile, his mind and heart syncing into doing what he wanted to do for the longest time. This makes it easier for me then to… “Listen! I completely understand if you’re uncomfortable with this. That’s just so I can let go some brewing emotions in me! You can just treat my blabbering platonically if that makes it better—”
You couldn’t say more as Jotaro took the initiative to lean forward and plant a soft yet firm kiss on your lips.
His way of confessing.
He drew back, slow and careful, gauging your reaction with hooded eyes to see how you responded. You froze on the spot, stunned and fuming pink all over. The delinquent cleared his throat and tipped his hat over his face to hide his own heated cheeks. “You really can’t shut up at all, can you?”
He figured that both parties had expressed what needed to be said, and he made a move to get up and walk away to recoil from his growing embarrassment. However, he let out a surprised sound as a hand yanked on his collar chain, pulling him to sit back on the grass.
At the same time, you threw yourself to him and gave him a firm kiss of your own, wrapping your arms around his neck and causing his hat to fall off his head. With the sudden weight, he held himself up with one arm behind him and used the other to wrap around your waist, holding you close to him as he reciprocated your gesture.
You pulled back an inch to let out a breathless giggle, pressing your forehead with his. “Mm I really can’t. Why don’t you shut me up more often then?”
Jotaro chuckled for once with a small playful smile. “You brat.”
“You ass.” You teased before leaning forward to slot your plush lips with his, gently pushing his head towards you the same time he sat more upright to allow his other arm to secure your body closer to him.
Just then, his heart swelled with unexpected joy underneath the glow of the stars, and all those emotions in him that had been vague and stagnant turned clear and into motion.
He liked you and you liked him back.
As simple as that.

naramis wedding pls ^^
Omg yes yes yes. Okay so.
I don’t think there’d be a traditional proposal. Maybe it doesn’t even really cross their minds to get married until Fugo and Giorno (and probably Bruno and Abbacchio) do. They’re pretty much married in all but name anyhow. But one night, after taking a day trip out to some nice little coastal town and watching the sunset on the beach, they’re sitting together and laughing over some stupid joke, and Mista has a moment where he’s like. Oh my god. I love him so much. And with no pretenses, he just takes Narancia’s hand and asks “hey, you wanna get married?” Narancia obviously says yes and practically tackle-hugs him, and they spend the rest of the night talking about what their wedding’s going to look like. They go pick out rings together the next day.
The wedding itself is pretty casual overall, at an outdoor venue in the countryside (maybe a vineyard Giorno reserved for them?), with all their friends in attendance. Polnareff (who in an everyone lives au is able to return to France imo) and Avdol both attend, and. Okay I’m gonna be vague about this bc I’m planning on writing this fic soon. Hol Horse, who works for the Speedwagon Foundation too, knows that Mista’s his son, and they’re not exactly on perfect terms, but he’s still invited and attends. He’s the only blood family either of them have at the wedding. Trish is their maid of honor, and Fugo is their best man.
They walk down the aisle together, holding hands and giggling out of excitement. Both wear black; Narancia wears a sort of half-suit with a long skirt, and Mista has a tuxedo and one of those lacy veils. Trust me I can picture it in my head. I am very bad at describing clothing. Fugio and Bruabba had very flowery and lengthy vows at their weddings, and Narancia’s and Mista’s are much shorter, kind of silly, but just as impactful, because they fit them so well.
They don’t let their emotions overwhelm them until their first dance. I know I should probably pick a Carpenters song, but I think God Only Knows by The Beach Boys would be a good one. Or something just sorta. Soft and sweet like that. Mista tears up first, and Narancia’s like “dammit, now you’re gonna make me get all sappy” as his hands tremble and they just hold each other close, almost in disbelief that this is happening, that they’re married.
Trish’s maid of honor speech is super sweet, and she recalls how much they’ve all been through together, how glad she is to have met them, and how overjoyed she is that her two best friends have found happiness together. Fugo’s speech is very, very snarky, and there’s plenty of roasting that occurs (“When Mista actually showered before their first date, I knew they were meant to be”), but about halfway through, he switches gears to talk about how much Narancia and Mista mean to him, and it ends on a nice note, wishing the best for both of them.
The music for the entire wedding is top-notch. They definitely put hours upon hours into curating their playlist. They do that thing where the couple shoves cake in each other’s faces. Giorno uses GER to make them a really nice bouquet, and Narancia tosses it. He manages to clock Fugo, who was not paying attention, directly in the face with it. This is the only documented occurrence of one of Giorno’s creations harming Fugo in any way. It’s overall a very laid-back, warm atmosphere – exactly what Narancia and Mista wanted.
Oh and I think they’d either keep their surnames or hyphenate them. Like they’d be Narancia and Guido Mista-Ghirga. Hyphenating sounds cute actually. I think they’d keep referring to each other as Mr. Mista-Ghirga in the days following and get super giddy every time they hear/say it.

Dudebro fans of Jojo’s are so funny to me cause they’ll make all of these “Jojo’s is gay”/ “Watching Jojo’s makes you gay” jokes, but the minute you seriously suggest that any character from Jojo’s is actually gay they pee their pants and they’re all like “no!!!!! You’re wrong!!!!”

Hsiadviqbje2h2k- uh-If you're feeling up to writing,,, May I request a platonic star dust crusaders with a child stand user on dios side-? Maybe the kid is hesitant on actually harming them and more or less trying to convince them to leave-
You don't have to do this aiahskapow
An Odd Enemy (Platonic! Stardust Crusaders + Child! Reader)
Dio forced you to be sent off with Hol Horse to defeat the Crusaders.
Kakyoin isn't here because this is low-key replacing the Boingo and Hol Horse episodes oops-
Warning (?) : Hol Horse being a jackass and mistreating reader
You've been living in Dio's mansion for a while now. Your mother being a servant of the ancient vampire, you had to come with her by default. To make yourself as useful as a 10 year old can be, Dio questioned what can you do to make yourself worthy to stay here. It was then you revealed your stand to him, only taking form of a sketch pad and a pencil. You drew your best interpretation of Dio. With a stick figure body, long hair, and the heart headband, your stand was able to register what you wanted to create and there stood an eerily similar looking Dio standing in front of the real one. Dio was impressed that your stand could replicate his likeness from a simple stick figure, although if you look at his doppelganger's pupils, they were just messy scribbles like in the drawing.
Dio saw potential in you and a lot of your time was spent with one of his servants training you on how you could use and improve your stand's ability. Soon enough with your training, you were able to figure out that the more detailed the drawing was, the better chance your stand had to manifest the drawings physically rather than it becoming an illusion. With the loss after loss of Dio's stand users, he sent you off on the big task to kill Jotaro Kujo and his crusaders.
Though with you, he paired you up with a cowboy named Hol Horse. He had been getting on Dio's nerves lately and thought to get him back by using his hatred of children against him. Hol's task was easy: look after you and if you come back with any physical injuries and/or you both fail in killing any of the Crusaders, Dio would kill him off. It would be the third time Hol Horse would encounter the group. If he couldn't succeed the third time, he would be useless from here on out.
Hol Horse glares at you, grumbling about how he has to "babysit" you while you both walk out of the building. "Hey cowboy, what are you talking about?" You looked up at him. "Nothin' of your concern, let's jus' move on and get this over with." You both walked around Cairo (you were more so dragged, Hol Horse deciding to do so because of your "short chicken legs") until Hol abruptly stopped and shoved you into alleyway to get out of sight of a familiar tower of silver hair.
The man held a tough grip on your shoulder and he kneeled down to your height. "Alright, here's what's gonna happen. You get out there and do whatever the hell you gotta do to get the French idiot with the bad hair back here. I'll take care of the rest. Got it?" He hardened his grip until you nodded, tears gathering around your eyes. There's bound to be a bruise later on your shoulder.
He gave you a smirk and shoved you out of the alleyway, causing you to trip and fall. The Frenchman you were supposed to distract was walking and talking to another man clad in gold jewelry and a red robe. You didn't think much of it and ran towards them, yelling for them to get their attention. Avdol was the one to see you and stopped Polnareff "Is something the matter?" He looked down at you with a smile. "I-I..." You were at a lost for words as your stress caved in into you. What was Lord Dio thinking? These men could crush you under their palm if they wanted to and the thought of how disappointed he would be in you alone could make you cry; the mean cowboy only making you feel worse. "Spit it out kid, we're on a tight schedule here." Polnareff looked down at you too, his features softening greatly when he saw you crying.
The two giants kneeled down next to you "Wait, kid, are you okay? I didn't mean to come off that mean..!" Polnareff panicked and you shook your head. "I-I can't d-do it...I'm so sorry!!" You hiccupped. Avdol and Polnareff looked at each other with confusion before mentally agreeing with each other on something. Avdol gave you a light pat on your shoulder and gave you a comforting smile, "Breathe with me okay? 1, 2, 3 take a deep breath in...1,2,3 take a deep breath out. Do you feel any better?" You nodded, "Y-yeah, thank you." Avdol gave you a little headpat. "What's your name? I'm Jean-Pierre Polnareff and this is my friend Muhammad Avdol." You looked at the both of them "I'm Y/N L/N."
You explained to them that you were paired with a man named Hol Horse to lure them into a trap. Once his name slipped from your lips, Avdol and Polnareff's face grew more serious. Immediately, they asked where he was hiding and you gladly told them. When you were close to the alleyway, Jotaro, Joseph, and Iggy caught up with the other crusaders.
"Okay Y/N, do you mind to tell me what's going on? You said that you 'can't do it.' Is someone making you do something you don't want to do?" Avdol asked. You looked around for any sign of Hol Horse and looked back at the two. They didn't seemed to be mad at all or have some sort of cold exterior. It was different from the people you had to deal with at the mansion, for the first time in a long time you found comfort in somebody. Even if they were the supposed 'enemy.'
Polnareff whispered to Joseph about what's going on and asked for them to take Y/N away from the scene that was going to be fighting grounds. Joseph looked at you and nodded. Before Hol Horse can get close to you to drag you back, Joseph took your hand and walked off to a nearby cafe with Jotaro and Iggy, leaving Polnareff and Avdol with Hol Horse. They both smirked, more than ready to get some revenge on the cowboy.
On the walk to the cafe, you clung to Joseph's arm, shying away from the large teenager everytime he glanced back at you. You've heard a lot about Jotaro Kujo, he was the one that landed a lot of people you hung out with in the hospital. Although Dio claims that he isn't a big deal, you couldn't help but to have that underlying fear that he was going to hurt you.
Almost like sixth sense, Jotaro sighed. "Good grief kid, I'm not going to hurt you. You can stop looking at me like that." Joseph rolled his eyes "Be nice Jotaro! They've been through a lot today. Besides Y/N, you did a good thing today, you fessed up before anyone got hurt. I'm proud of you." The old man gave you a headpat while you all went to get seated. You smiled. Yeah, Dio has told you that he was proud of you when you were able to successfully hit targets during stand practice, but it never held anything behind it. It felt empty and cold compared to the warmth Joseph's voice had, spoken like a truly proud father.
You all sat around the cafe, talking to Joseph and Jotaro and bribing Iggy with food to get a couple of pets. You showed off your stand to them and told them how it works, using a glass of water as an example. Later on, Joseph asked you about Dio's whereabouts and you were able to give the best mock up of a map to them on a small notebook from Joseph's pocket. Your memory wasn't the best, but it made great progress in their journey. When Avdol and Polnareff returned, Polnareff puffed his chest out in pride, announcing that they were able to "burn that cocky cowboy to a crisp" and went to check up on you.
You all talked some more about yourselves and once they decided to leave, you didn't hesitate to run up to each crusader to give them a "Good luck" and a quick hug. Although Jotaro did push you away, it didn't stop Star Platinum from coming out to give you a hug himself, he even gave a little 'Ora' in goodbye when he was forced to retreat back to his user.

I do not like him I do not like him I like him I do not like him I do not--
Pairing: Jotaro Kujo x Reader
There's nothing in the world that you hate more than Jotaro Kujo, the school's bad boy. Every girl (and even boys of course.) fell for the 195cm emo man and you didn't know why. He was quiet and would tell everyone who approach him to go away, not to mention, very intimidating.
All the teachers fear him and the rest of the students, who don't fall head over heels for him, are afraid to even look at him.
Then there's you.
"I fucking hate that Kujo guy."
The only person in the school with a deep loathing for Kujo Jotaro. You avoided the man as if he was a plague or like a cat with water.
You huffed as your redhead companion only laughed awkwardly. "This is the 3rd time this week, Y/N..., What did he even do to you?" Straightening your back, you turn to face Kakyoin with a deep frown. "Well for starters, your friend," making air quotes friend part, you continued. "He's just a fucking asshole and not to mention I hate his grumpy-ass attitude." You huffed and crossed your arms.
"Ah..." Kakyoin only sweat dropped while listening to you rant about Jotaro. "Honestly, I don't even know how you managed to befriend that guy..." Your voice going soft as you relaxed and looked at him. "Kakyoin, we've been best friends ever since we were kids and this guy—" You cut yourself once you saw the all-familiar edgy teen, the scowl on your face returned. Kakyoin, noticing your swift change of expression, turned around to see Jotaro.
"Ah, hello Jotaro." He gives him a small smile while you greeted him back the complete opposite with venom in your voice. "Kujo." He glances at you and looks back at Kakyoin, ignoring you.
"The old man, Avdol, and Polnareff are visiting this week." Kakyoin's smile widens. "Is Iggy with Polnareff?" You watch the two of them interact as if forgetting your existence. Getting ticked off, you stormed away while mumbling. "Fuck him and his hat."
As you storm away, Kakyoin glances at your irritated figure. "Ah... Can we invite Y/N too? I just want my friends to get along..." He frowns while Jotaro grunts. "I know you don't like them- can you two try to get along at least just once?" Jotaro thought for a moment and nodded his head. 'He probably won't stop until I say yes.' Kakyoin beamed at him. He sighs and grabs the tip of his hat and said his line.
"Yare Yare Daze..."
It was the next day. You had forgotten the whole encounter with Jotaro yesterday and to make your day better, you found a new game shop! You could certainly ask Kakyoin to hang out with you and check it out.
Walking in the student-filled corridor, you kept an eye out for a tall redhead. 'Hm... Where could he be? He could be possibly with Jotaro.' As you rounded the corner, you bumped into somebody. Gasping, you stumbled back and bowed with an apology. "Sorry-" You were cut off with a familiar chuckle. "It's okay Y/N." You smiled and looked up at Kakyoin. "I've been looking for you! I wanted to tell you that there's a new game shop and I wanna ask you if you wanted to go with me."
Saying you were excited is an understatement. You and Kakyoin have been gaming buddies ever since you were a child and now there was a new game shop which could mean new games to play and trash talk over.
You could see Kakyoin getting excited to check out the shop as well. "Yeah! I'd love to." He responded.
The bell rang before any of you could talk again. "I'll see you at the school gate later!" Already heading to your classroom, you waved your hand goodbye. Kakyoin waves back and walks in the opposite direction. Fate seems to be on your side since you haven't seen Jotaro once today and you plan on keeping it like that until math class at least.
The day went by quickly, all the lesson was messily scribbled on your notebooks and all assignment were passed. Now you just have to wait for Kakyoin at the school gate.
Once you arrived at the gate, you saw Jotaro leaning on the wall, smoking. You glare at him knowing he was probably waiting for Kakyoin too. "What are you doing here?" He glances at you and covers his face with the edge of the hat. "Why do you care?"
You roll your eyes. 'He's extra edgy today.' "Can't I just ask a question?" You could feel eyes on you. It was probably Jotaro's fan club hiding somewhere and glaring at you.
He huffs the smoke and looks away. "Yare yare... Just leave me alone brat."
"The only brat I see here is your edgy ass." You retorted.
It seems to strike a nerve. His scowl deepens and flicks his cigarette away, grabbing you by your collar. You look at him unfazed but ready to strike anytime. "If you don't sh-"
"Geez... You two fight like an old couple.." Kakyoin breaks you two up before any of you could get hurt. He shook his head, "And here I thought bringing Jotaro was a great idea." You laughed loudly making Jotaro glare at you.
Kakyoin sighs as you two have a glaring challenge. "If-" He spoke up and you both look at the redhead. "If the two of you don't fight for a week then I'll... I'll do whatever you say." You stared at him and grinned. Kakyoin nervously gulps at the expression you're giving him. "Sounds like a deal."
Now Jotaro doesn't care about that but you on the other hand have some great plans for the poor redhead.
"Let's go to the game shop then..." You both start to walk until you realize Jotaro was following too.
"... He's... He's coming with us?" You whisper to Kakyoin. "Ah!" He looks at you apologetically. "I...may have forgotten to tell you that I invited Jotaro to come with us..." You took a deep inhale and walked ahead. Not bothering to comment on what he just did. Since you made an agreement after all.
The entire walk was painfully awkward. You didn't talk and Jotaro doesn't usually talk so that left Kakyoin trying to engage you and Jotaro to talk to each other but you just nodded and hummed. 'Damn... I feel like Jotaro now." You snicker quietly.
The game shop didn't have many customers. There were probably around 3 and a single employee at the cashier.
Feeling giddy, you walked inside while dragging Kakyoin with you. "Holy shit..! They have the best RPG game!" Letting go of Kakyoin you ran towards the RPG section and looked at the huge selection of games.
"Damn... My allowance is gonna be dead by the end of this." You thought while you read the cover of a random game you grabbed.
Out of nowhere, you felt a warm breath hit your nape. Flinching at the feeling, you turned behind ready to hit the person with the game you were holding. "Oh." Looking up, it was just Jotaro looming behind you.
Wait a minute.
"What the fuck are you doing?" You furrowed your brows suspiciously at him. He looks at the game in your hand, bored. "I wanted to look for games too."
"Huh... You don't look like a person who plays games." He steps backward and shrugs then walks away leaving you confused. "I should just look for F-Mega..." Forgotten the weird interaction, you looked for the latest F-mega game they had.
After walking around and getting distracted by other games, you finally found F-Mega! Happy with your decision, you went to the cashier and paid. Then looked around to search for your cherry friend.
You have looked around the shop but you didn't find him, plus the shop was small so it was easy to find someone. Walking outside, hoping to see Kakyoin, you see Jotaro smoking. Waving the smoke away, you approached him. "Have you seen Kak?" He throws the cigarette and steps on it. "There was an emergency so he went home early."
"Oh." You look at him dumbfounded. "Kakyoin left you with Jotaro?! It's an emergency anyway..." You sighed and walked in the direction of your home. Surprisingly, Jotaro followed you. "What do you want?" You didn't mean to sound annoyed but it came out like that. "Making sure you don't get into trouble." Huffing, you started to walk faster but Jotaro was able to keep up since he has longer legs.
Too busy trying to get far from Jotaro, you failed to notice the crack on the pavement, making you trip. Thankfully, Jotaro was able to catch up with you. He grabs you by your waist, preventing you from facepalming the floor. "If I wasn't here, you would be eating dirt right now." He pulls you up. You pouted and mumbled. "You were the reason I ran and tripped." Good thing he didn't hear it or else he would've let you go. You straightened the creases on your clothes and quietly thanked him. He seemed to have heard that one and nodded.
Giving up on trying to outrun Jotaro, you both walk in silence. It was only the leaves rustling and the occasional birds chirping. It was surprisingly peaceful since you both didn't bicker.
When you both arrived at your home, the sun was setting down. You opened the door to your home but stopped and looked back.
Jotaro was already walking away, probably towards his home. "Oi Kujo!" You called out to him. He stops walking, not looking back. "I enjoyed that walk. Thank you." His hands were in his pockets as he looks back at you and nodded then continued his walk.
Maybe  Kujo Jotaro isn't that bad.

kujo jotaro
Tumblr media
♥︎ when he first sat down under the sorting hat, he didn't know what to expect and did not care in which house he would have ended up. everyone in his family, though, always had been one of two precise houses: slytherin or hufflepuff. so, very deep down, he hoped in one of them. but a different one would have been cool with him too, he would have been the first in his family with a different house sorting. he waited for a time that seemed neverending, but earlier than expected, the sorting hat said: "slytherin."
♥︎ the two of you met for the first time during a quidditch tournament. jotaro was a seeker, one of the most precise ones hogwarts had ever had. you caused him an accident, running over him with your broom, causing the two of you to fall to the ground. needless to say, he held a grudge on you for several days, until you had to get along to train for quidditch again.
♥︎ you wouldn't expect it from a wizard like him, but his favourite subjects are care of magical creatures, to study them, protect them, and get on an empathetic level with them, and muggle studies, to get to know more about muggles, in honor of his father, kujo sadao, who's not a wizard.
♥︎ it didn't take long for jotaro to manage to manifest his patronus. he had tried to practice that spell, since before the arrival of the dementors at the school. the two of you used to practice together after quidditch trainings, making you the first person - apart from him, of course - to witness the awaking of his patronus: a beautiful dolphin, a symbol of intelligence and protection.
♥︎ you will probably have to be the one to ask him first out on a date. he's not the best one when it comes to grades, and he spends quite a lot of time with his friends, trying not to think about it. no, he doesn't really care about having the best marks. you should ask one of his best friends, kakyoin noriaki, about what to do to convince him to go out on a date with you. most likely, he'll say yes because he trusts you enough to feel safe.
♥︎ jotaro does not underestimate your powers and doesn't feel the need to constantly protect you, but he must admit that as soon as the teachers of defense against the dark arts start disappearing every year or try to attack the students themselves, he's a little bit worried about you. he starts showing up outside your classroom at the end of every lesson, to check on you and keep you company until you get to you next lesson's classroom.
kakyoin noriaki
Tumblr media
♥︎ when he sat down under the sorting hat, he was really nervous. what if it said that he wasn't even a wizard? what if he ended up in a house that would have disappointed his family? the redhead was shaking like a leaf, even at the point that the sorting hat itself asked him to calm down to allow it to examinate him better. noriaki's terror soon disappeared, as soon as the hat spoke. "okay, okay, my guy. you can calm down. ravenclaw!"
♥︎ the two of you met for the first time in the library of the school. you were looking for a specific book, the one about the fantastic beasts of the wizarding world and where to find them, when a guy who wasn't looking where he was going, hit the ladder you were standing on, making you fall, right... in his arms. ugh, that sounded like a pathetic love story beginning. until you heard a giggle from the corner of the room. the guy that was making fun of that scene was kakyoin.
♥︎ noriaki's favourite subjects are transfiguration, since he always says he has a talent in transforming objects in what he wants, and defence against the dark arts, since he wishes to become a professor one day. why is it related to that? well, since the professors of defence against the dark arts seem to change every year for some reason, his turn will come sooner or later, or not?
♥︎ for kakyoin, it was a little bit more complicated to manifest his patronus. he kept on focusing on the technique and the way he had to move his wand, instead of focusing on his inner power and mind. but after many efforts, it finally showed up: a beautiful fox, symbol of wisdom and guidance. he told you first thing.
♥︎ noriaki will probably be the one to ask you out for a date first. but he would do it through a letter. he's smart enough to write one that will convince you that he's worth it and that he's perfect for you. the redhead can't imagine you already think of him as such. either way, the letter will be very sweer and heartfelt, even if a little bit awkward sometimes. but you'll say yes regardless, he put a lot of effort in it, and has always been respectful towards you.
♥︎ he wouldn't be much worried about you at first, hogwarts is a safe place for the students, after all, right? right? oh, what? in a bathroom the little hermione granger almost got killed by a troll? you know what, nevermind? the guy is gonna be glued to you the whole time, he'll even skip lessons for it, despite how much they mean for him. you're not gonna get attacked by anything, with him by your side.
muhammad avdol
Tumblr media
♥︎ everyone envied him when he sat down under the sorting hat, because despite the young age at the time, he looked absolutely calm and collected. he had no anxiety, and his eyes were closed, in complete relaxation, as if him and the sorting hat had some sort of mental communication going on. his smile was endearing, his fingers intertwined in front of his chest. but the hat seemed to take a lot of time sorting him. "your heart said gryffindor, my dear boy. but your soul spoke hufflepuff to me." the hat declared. but then... "hufflepuff!"
♥︎ the two of you met for the first time on the stairs. yes, the ones that like to change. your books had fallen from your arms on the stairs, and since he was passing by, he decided to lend a helping hand. what you didn't notice, was that you were standing right between the stairs and the floor. when the stairs changed, hadn't it been for muhammad's quick reflex of pulling you on his side, you would have probably fallen down several floors.
♥︎ avdol is naturally gifted, when it comes to subjects like astronomy, or his favourite one, divination. he seems to be the only student who doesn't stare at mrs. trelawney as if she were completely crazy. the majority of the ravenclaws, his friend noriaki included, sometimes don't even listen to her. but avdol does, and he's completely in love with the subject.
♥︎ it hadn't been difficult at all for avdol, to manifest his patronus. almost natural, for him. you weren't there to witness it, but you studied and practiced with him for it several times. the last time he tried, a beautiful and graceful phoenix escaped muhammad's wand, symbol of resurrection and life after death, a patronus that the student took as a symbol of hope.
♥︎ none of you two will ask the other out for a date. the love between you and avdol would bloom spontaneously, without the need of dating. you would find yourselves behaving like a couple just naturally. he likes to give you tarot readings and to stargaze with you. the stargazing sessions are the ones that get the two of you closer to each other.
♥︎ avdol would be protective over you since the very beginning. he can sense something's off in the school, and his tarot readings about hogwarts's future keep getting darker and more mysterious everytime. but every single reading hints at an upcoming source of danger, that most likely would be voldemort, he supposes. he has to keep an eye on you. he's scared.
jean pierre polnareff
Tumblr media
♥︎ oh boy, this guy was mad nervous when he sat down under the sorting hat. everything but slytherin, everything but slytherin. surely, he knew he wouldn't have ended up in ravenclaw. he wasn't that much of a smart guy, but he did his best. either way, everything would have been cool to him, apart from slytherin. it just didn't sit right to him. but luckily, before jean could ask the sorting hat why was it taking so long, it spoke. "okay, okay, i get it. gryffindor, no doubts!" it said, making the young wizard feel relieved.
♥︎ the two of you met for the first time while he was trying so hard to find his way to the next classroom he had to be in. the school was huge, and polnareff couldn't help but to get confused in the corridors. you offered him your help, but he tried to play it cool, running away and dropping a book. well, you would have brought it to him.
♥︎ polnareff's favourite subjects are charms and flying. they're pretty basic, but he finds them the coolest things about being a wizard. he's a huge fan of quidditch too, but he wouldn't see himself playing. flying lessons give him the same feeling of freedom though, and he loves it so much.
♥︎ it took pretty long for jean pierre to manifest his patronus. he just couldn't focus enough. you've been practising with him, and you manifested it first, so it would have been good to try to help him. until he managed to do it. from his wand, a beautiful horse was freed, a symbol of power, independence, freedom, and nobleness. you could tell jean was satisfied, and grateful to you for helping him in manifesting it.
♥︎ he'll definitely be the one to ask you out first, probably not much time after you helped him to manifest his patronus. that event made him so happy and made him grow so fond of you, that he genuinely wants to improve your relationship, and hopefully, get something more from it. hopefully your heart, hopefully a kiss. but he means it genuinely. he's not trying to exploit you to get your help with assignments. for real.
♥︎ as the years go by, polnareff would start noticing hogwarts isn't the same place that it's always been, or that dumbledore claimed it was. he grows more and more protective of you, every year a worse mess happens, and it's always connected to voldemort. he's not liking it at all. not to mention you're worried, since the gryffindors seem to be pretty involved in it. more than you and jean pierre like to admit. he knows something he's not telling.
joseph joestar
Tumblr media
♥︎ in his youth, when he sat down under the sorting hat, he didn't give a shit of what house he would have been sorted in, all he wanted was just start learning magic stuff. joseph was laughing with some handsome boys and pretty girls at the table, and was hoping it wouldn't take long to sort him, his adventure had just started. but the hat actually took really little time to figure out where he was gonna go. "slytherin." it announced, almost immediately.
♥︎ going through the corridors of hogwarts reminds him of many years ago, when you first met. he would never forget the way you told him to go fuck himself, while he was just standing on a chair, reminding everyone that him and his best friend of the time, a young lucius malfoy, were the best kind of wizards because they were purebloods. that was a bunch of bullshit he truly used to believe. luckily, he grew up to understand it wasn't true.
♥︎ now, joseph is a teacher. the last student you would have expected to become one, but he did. a teacher of defense against the dark arts, and he's not planning on leaving anytime soon. he'll keep his eyes open, he heard teachers have been disappearing every year. not to mention a lot of scary stuff is happening at hogwarts. he didn't choose a good time to work.
♥︎ he's always been a quick learner, and he managed to manifest his patronus quicker than many of his classmates. a really cool eagle, a symbol of truth, majesty, strength. despite his attitude, it was clear that joseph was a good wizard, it had to be given to him. and you grew to be into it. to admire it. he secretly liked you, too.
♥︎ joseph took the first step towards you, but he didn't quite ask you out, let's say that to keep his cool, he TOLD you that you and him were gonna date. as if to announce you. you were okay with it, and didn't accept just because you were feeling forced. you accepted because you liked him, and recognized it as a great opportunity to get closer to him. you would have worked on improving the romantic field throughout your relationship.
♥︎ now that he's a teacher, he has to recognize that there's so much going on, that the students do not see. joseph is acknowledged about how dangerous the situation is getting, and more than ever, he reaches out to you, or phones you, no matter the fact that you're working. everyone is talking about voldemort, and he doesn't like the smallest bit of it. he just wants to make sure you're safe.

“So why are we here jiji?” Asked the young male. “Our new member is gonna meet us here, and before you go asking questions, she’s not a stand user.” Said Joseph.
“Hm? Not a stand user? Then way do we need…you said she right. Why do we need this girl if she’s not a stand user?” Said Jotaro. “You know that old Japanese myth, Ryomen Sukuna?” Asked the old man.
“Oh I do, you mean the sorcerer. He was the most talented and the strongest jujutsu sorcerer ever, but that’s just myth some people say that if you have the any cursed energy you can see curses, but there are only a few people that can actually see them.” Kakyoin explained. “But why are we talking out Sukuna?”
“We’re talking about him because his real and his vessel is our new group member and if you don’t believe me then just think back to the reason why we started this trip. By now I could believe anything.” Said Joseph.
“WHEN WILL SHE BE HEEEERE?!!” Screamed Polnareff. “ITS SO HOT OUT HEEERE I WANNA GO IN SIDE!!”
“I’m right here!” Said a female voice. All the men looked her way. She had h/c, stern e/c eyes she also had to markings on her face. The girl wore a black jacket (like maki’s) and black shorts with black thigh high stockings and combat boots. With what looked like a long red pack on her back.
“So you guys are the losers I’m here to help huh? I was expecting a little more, but you guys are ok I guess.” Said the female walking over to them.
She looked at Jotaro and said. “You look like a hunk a junk big boy.” Jotaro growled. “I don’t like your attitude, bitch.” He said to the h/c female.
“Hm, what are you gonna do punch me? I’d like to see you try.” She said with a smirk on her face. Jotaro was just about to say some nasty come back but Kakyoin separated them from each other.
“Come on don’t fight we just met, how bout we introduce our selves. My name is Noriaki Kakyoin, I’m sorry for Jotaro over there were all glad that your here.” Said Kakyoin in a nice voice smiling.
Y/N POV
“My name is Noriaki Kakyoin, I’m sorry for Jotaro over there were all glad that your here.” Said the red haired boy.
‘Hm! He doesn’t seem bad. He’s pretty cute, like really cut…buuuut I bet he had no friends as a kid. Smart in the brain, but in social situations.’
“Jotaro Kujo.” Said the sexy but bitchy dude.
‘Ugh, I’ve never liked high and mighty guys. Only his name? He probably sets sea gulls on fire and watches them burn for fun.’
“Call me Polnareff! It’s a pleasure to meet you!!” Said the man with sliver.
‘He has a nice jaw line. His voice is sexy, and to top it off he has a great rack. I think we’ll get along well.’
“Hello miss, I’m Joseph Joestar! I’m pretty sure you new that already.” Said the old man.
‘No comment, no comment at all.’
“Nice to meet you, my name is Muhammad Avdol. I hope we can get along well.” The man in the red robe said.
‘He seems like he’s a good guy. Like a father figure. I like him!’
“Alright bitch, if you don’t have a stand what’s so special about you huh?” Asked Jotaro getting closer to me about to say he’s next sentence but I stopped him by moving my hand in front of his face and said. “Talk to the hand.”
“Oh your gonna be like that? I’ll beat you to a pulp-”
“𝑾𝒉𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖?” Said a deep voice. Jotaro stoped in his tracks to see and eye and mouth with a weird symbol on its tongue appear on her hand.
“W-what the hell?!” Said Jotaro. “Aren’t you the people were spots to help.…KILL A GUY THAT YOUR FAMILY FAILED TO KILL AGES AGO AND THATS ALSO THE REASON THAT YOUR MOMMY’S ON DEATH’S BED! HAHAHAHA!!” Sukuna laughed.
Jotaro growled and was about to punch me in the face. “How about I introduce myself before we start fighting. My name is Y/n L/n pleaser to meet you boys.” I said putting my hand on my hip.
“And this is Sukuna.” I said now pointing to my face, an eye appeared were one of the markings were on my face and a mouth appearing under the eye.
“Now I guess we can continue this fight now.” I said to the tale male. “I’ll send you too the hospital.” He said.
“HEY! HEY! Lets not fight we just met the young lady! Show her some respect!” Said Joseph. “Hmf!” I smirked at Jotaro, he was just glaring at me.
TIME SKIP
JOTARO POV
‘The stand user were fighting uses illusion as it’s attacks and it’s fast…really fast even for Star platinum…what the hell am I gonna do. I hate being stuck with the chick, all she’s done is swing around that freakin’ Speer..’
We’re currently hiding behind a large vent on top of a billing, one of the illusions that the stand user made on the other side of it. The illusion has to be at least 5-6 meters tall and the with of about 4-5 meters. It’s pretty ugly, it has many mouths and eyes
“Damn it! What the hell are we gonna do now?!” I whisper yelled at her. “I don’t have the energy to hit it right now so…Sukuna, your up.” She said walking around the vent.
The illusion saw her immediately and began charging at her. “WHA-WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?! ARE YOU CRAZY!!” I yelled at the female.
Suddenly the illusion was completely destroyed by one blow coming from her.
‘What…how did…not even Star platinum could hit it, so how the hell could she? Is that even y/n, she doesn’t have a stand, could this be…the power of sukuna?’
“GAHAHAHA! It’s been a while since the brat’s let me out fully!” I way deeper voice said. Then she aggressively ripped her jacket and shirt exposing her muscled body and black bra, also showing the many different markings on her body.
I blushed and looked away from her. ‘That’s definitely not y/n. That’s…sukuna.’ I thought to myself. “HAHA! THAT WAS EASY GIVE ME MORE OPPONENTS!” Yelled Sukuna.
All of a sudden more illusions appeared and ran after Sukuna and were all killed in seconds. “I SEE YOU KUJO! GET YOUR ASS OUT HERE!” Sukuna yelled at me.
“Yare Yare daze.…”

train station kisses
Tumblr media
a sequel to one missed call
Summary: After receiving a phone call from Jotaro after ten years of no contact, you attempt to navigate both your feelings and his. Will a reunion around the holidays be just what you both needed?
Author’s Note: I just wanted to say thank you for all of the positive reactions to one missed call! It really means a lot 🥺💕I hope you guys enjoy the sequel just as much!!
With a shaking hand, you reached out to dial his number, taking each digit slowly as a way to delay the inevitable. The line began to ring and you could almost feel your mouth running dry, the thudding of your heart threatening to burst your chest open. You bit your lip in a futile attempt to keep the water in your eyes from spilling over.
After four rings, you could hear Jotaro answer, “Hello?”
The ringing in your ears, the pounding in your heart, they didn’t stop with the sound of his voice.
“Uh hi, Jotaro? It’s me.”
A relieved exhale could be heard through the phone, followed by a brief moment of silence, “Hi.” If his breath had sounded relieved, then his voice sounded even more so. “I thought you wouldn’t call.”
You brought the phone with you as you traveled across the living room, resting back against the couch. “If I’m being honest, I almost didn’t.”
As much as he had convinced himself that he didn’t deserve a call back, Jotaro’s heart sunk into his stomach with the thought that you very nearly didn’t return his message, keeping him nothing but a distant, painful memory.
“Well,” he finally spoke, fidgeting with the pen resting on his desk, “I’m glad you did.”
You let out a nervous huff, quiet and short, “Yeah, me too.”
Silence overtook the conversation once again, entirely too awkward for your liking. Where were you even supposed to start? The man on the other end had confessed his love to you, through a long, emotional message on your answering machine no less, and now you were confronting him after not hearing from him in literal years. What were you supposed to do?
“Jotaro I-”
“Listen-”
You chuckled as you both attempted to speak at the same time.
“You go-”
“You first-”
You could hear his deep, quiet laugh through the phone.
“We’re off to a great start.” You told him, running a hand through your hair.
“We certainly are.”
“Look, Jotaro,” you struggle to find the right words, “I’m not going to lie to you and tell you that I wasn’t hurt that I didn’t hear from you, from anyone.”
A low “mhm” sounded through the phone as you collected yourself.
“But, Christ, is it nice to hear your voice.”
“It’s nice to hear yours too.”
“What were you going to say before?” You asked, pressing the phone between your shoulder and cheek so you could pick at your nails.
“I just wanted to tell you that I meant everything I said. All of it.”
The familiar, erratic beat of your heart returned in an instant as his confession replayed in your head.
The words spilled from your mouth before you can even think to stop them, “You love me?”
You nearly smacked a hand against your forehead with how stupid, how desperate you sounded. Were you really hearing this right now?
“I do. I figured it was better late than never to tell you, even if it was over the phone. The old man was very convincing.” His voice was dripping with sarcasm as he spoke of his grandfather, clearly not thrilled with his relative’s persistence.
“I-” A shaky breath left your mouth, “I love you too. I always have.”
Jotaro didn’t respond right away. How could he? You’d just told him you love him, even after all of this time, even after he’d left you alone, in the dark. After all of it.
“I miss you.” He knew he sounded pathetic, heart on display for you to hear, but he didn’t care. Jotaro also knew he wasn’t anywhere near as openly emotional as he thought you deserved, but he wanted to be selfish, if only this once, wanted to sink his hands into your heart and never let go. He wouldn’t let you be alone again, not if he could help it.
At his confession, tears pricked at the back of your eyes, stinging as they threatened to fall.
“I miss you too, Jotaro.”
The words hung heavily in the air, years of pent up emotions all laid out for you both to see. You had no idea where to go from here. The previous phone call played through your mind as you searched for the right words. One statement came to the forefront: “You reminded me of everything I felt like I couldn’t have, what I can’t have.”
“Jotaro? Can I ask you something?”
“If you want.”
“Before, you said something about me being something you couldn’t have. What exactly did you mean?”
You heard him sigh into the receiver, sounding dejected as he spoke, “Everyone in my life either leaves or gets hurt, or both. I push people away to keep them out of my bullshit, so they don’t get hurt. I’m not easy to love. You don’t deserve to get wrapped up in the mess I always leave behind.”
Your heart broke.
“Jotaro, you…” A laugh, involuntary and riddled with disbelief, left your throat. “You really are something else, you know that? I’ve already been to Egypt with you, for God’s sake, risked my life for your mom, to defeat DIO. I think you’re kinda stuck with me now. Messes or not.”
His voice was uncharacteristically small as he responded, “You mean that?”
You scoffed. “Of course I do. God, you are such an idiot sometimes. You’re lucky I love you.”
He allowed a tiny smile to work its way onto his face, “Yeah, I am.”
“Ohhh, Jotaro,” you teased, getting a real kick out of Jotaro revealing what was going on in that steel-trap he calls a brain, “I didn’t take you for the cheesy type.”
A groan.
“Good freakin’ grief. I take it back, I don’t miss you anymore.”
“Oh come on. You do. You can admit it.”
The moment of humor was a welcomed break from the downpour of emotions that threatened to flood your mind, a calming reminder of what once was.
“Okay,” Jotaro acquiesced, for once not having the strength to win this fight, “you’re right.”
You ached to see the look on his face on the other side of the phone. You had no doubt his eyebrows were creased in annoyance, a smile reluctantly beginning to form on his lips. What you wouldn’t give to be able to reach over, to poke and prod at his cheeks, to tease and annoy him.
“Ugh, you’re so cute,” you tell him, “What am I ever gonna do with you?”
Cute, Jotaro thought, I’ve never heard that one before.
“Look, enough already I-” Why did you have to make his words catch in his throat so much? It was infuriating. “I wanted to ask if you wanted to meet up. I know it’s the holidays and everything but-”
You cut his rambling off with an immediate answer, “I would love to.”
“Wha- You would?” He hadn’t expected you to agree so quickly, or even at all.
The surprised lilt to his voice is not lost on you. You don’t push it. “Of course, I would.”
“In that case,” he spoke, absently tapping the pen against his desk, “I’ll have the Speedwagon Foundation pay for your travel expenses and you can come visit with my family and I for a few days.”
“Jotaro,” You admonished, “I don’t want to intrude! If you’re spending time with family, we can always wait.”
“I’ve kept you waiting long enough and besides,” you can hear the smile in his voice, “mom would love to cook for someone new.”
“Well, when you put it that way, how could I say no?”
The conversation continued from there, Jotaro telling you he would pass along the information from the Speedwagon Foundation. You spent some time getting caught up, passing information back and forth until Jotaro let out a long, drawn out yawn.
“It’s getting late. I should go.” Jotaro stated, sounding reluctant.
“That’s okay. Goodnight, Jotaro. I’ll see you soon.”
“Night, see you.”
With one final click, the line went dead, sending you reeling back into the quiet hum of your living room. You nearly laughed out loud at the events unfolding before you. The last thing you had expected this holiday season was to go visit Jotaro, all expenses paid.
Before you knew it, you were switching over from the plane to the train that would take you to the station near Jotaro’s childhood home. Even given the time you took to attempt to process all of these new developments, your mind still raced, endlessly whirling and wondering. Jotaro loved you and you were visiting him. He loved you and you were going to get to see him again. It was all relentlessly surreal.
As you boarded the train for the remainder of your journey, you couldn’t help but reflect on that fateful trip to Egypt. Memories flashed behind your eyes, coming and going with the scenery passing you by. Kakyoin’s goofy laugh, Polnareff’s friendly disposition, Avdol’s kind words. Your heart clenched at the thought.
Perhaps your reunion, love confessions aside, could help you process what you’d been dealing with for so long. Maybe it could help you move on, move away from reliving the trauma of those weeks abroad. Just maybe.
Pushing the thoughts from your mind, the voice over the loudspeaker alerted you that you had arrived at the station where you would meet Jotaro. Your heart thudded nervously in your chest, seemingly stealing the air from your lungs.
You grabbed your belongings and stepped out onto the platform, eyes scanning the crowd for Jotaro. He was always so tall, you thought, this should be easy.
At the same time, Jotaro entered the station, hands tucked into his pockets to disguise their slight tremor. He had never felt so nervous in his life, this situation being such uncharted territory that he almost wished he could have Star Platinum fight the feelings off for him. He pulled his hat down to cover the rosiness traveling up his neck.
His eyes scanned the crowd, landing on you across the station. You caught his gaze almost immediately, a small smile overtaking the concerned downturn of your lips. You were here, finally.
You weaved through the crowd as you locked eyes with Jotaro, carefully dragging your suitcase behind you as you moved among the throngs of people. As you reached the other side of the station, you stopped dead in your tracks, staring up at Jotaro.
It was as if a massive weight was lifted from your shoulders, like you had finally let out a sigh of relief after a long day. You wanted to live with this feeling forever.
“Hi.” You finally let out, moving to close the gap between the two of you at long last.
Without even responding, Jotaro bent down to wrap his arms around your waist, lifting your feet off the ground and clutching you against his chest. You smiled as you felt him bury his nose against your neck.
You wrapped your own arms around his neck, one hand resting against the back of his head.
“You’re here.” His voice was muffled by your shirt, but you could hear him clear as day.
“I’m here.”
You remained like that for who knows how long, embracing one another like touch-starved fools, so lost in each other that you didn’t even register the stares from passersby.
After some time, Jotaro took his face away from your neck, returning your feet to the ground. Both hands were quick to cradle your cheeks, looking you over carefully with a cute upturn of his lips.
It was all so uncharacteristically soft that you almost felt as though he was a different person.
He hunched down, bringing his lips to yours in an emotional kiss. His lips moved against yours like a man starved, hand moving to feel your hair between his fingers. As he broke away to catch his breath, he pressed his forehead against your own.
“I love you, he spoke like it was a secret, something so important it was for your ears only, “so much.”
“I love you too, Jotaro.”
He kissed you again, a brief peck to your lips as if to seal your quiet promise, to legitimize it.
Before you could even stop them, tears began flowing down your cheeks only to be swiped away by Jotaro’s thumb.
“Oh, good grief,” he said, but it was nowhere near as biting as it could’ve been, “don’t cry.”
You chuckled at his assertion. This was the Jotaro you knew and loved. “Sorry.”
He pressed a sweet kiss to the crown of your head, hand reaching up to ruffle the hair there.
“Come on, mom’s making dinner.”
He grabbed your suitcase and turned to head towards the door, leaving you in the dust. Typical.
When you fell into step beside him, you laced your fingers with his, running your thumb along the back of his hand.
God, you could get used to this.

Lost in Translation (Polnareff x Reader)
Anonymous asked: Hey! Would you mind writing a little Polnareff fic where the reader tried to learn French pick up lines to finally drop some hints, but messes up/forgets a word and gets embarrassed? 🥺
Now this is just too sweet. I changed the request up a little bit, I hope you don’t mind!! (Also if you spot any mistakes with the French, please let me know!! I’m not sure how much my high school education of French prepared me for writing Polnareff fanfiction lmao)
-----
"(Y/N), what the hell are you doing?"
You jump, tearing your eyes from the book you're scouring. You look at Joseph, who's sitting a few feet away from you on his hotel bed. He frowns. "It's three in the morning. Shouldn't you be sleeping?"
"I... Well..." You laugh nervously, attempting to discreetly slide the book under your pillow as you search for the right words. "Yeah. I probably should be."
Joseph stands up and turns on the lamp that sits between you two, and you wince when the light hits your eyes. "But seriously, what have you been doing?" he asks again as he sits back down. "I've been trying to get some sleep and all I can hear is you muttering nonstop over there."
You can feel yourself start to blush, and you fix your eyes on the fascinating corner of the door behind Joseph. "Ah... I was just reading out loud. It helps me take it in better, y'know?" It's not a very good lie, and though you're not looking at Joseph, you know he's not buying it. "Half of enjoying a good book is visualization, isn't it?" You're audibly anxious.
"Fine. But what exactly are you reading?" You start to sweat; he's ruthless in his interrogation.
"Uh, it's... I mean you're probably not interested in it." Joseph's patience suddenly runs thin, and he leaps up and snatches the book out of your hand. "What the hell?" you shout, forgetting about the thin hotel walls and attempting rather aggressively to grab the book back.
Joseph, thanks to his powerful Joestar genes, is easily able to hold you off. "Hmm, what is... English-to-French dictionary...?" He looks up at you, confused, and you freeze. He rolls his eyes. "(Y/N), I'm failing to see what's so embarrassing about this. You want to learn a new language? More power to you - " Mid-sentence, he seems to come to a revelation, and you wince. You had almost made it out alive.
"...You're learning this for Polnareff, aren't you?"
"Isn't that the million dollar question?" you mumble, gluing your eyes to the floor. "Yes."
You can hear him horribly containing his laughter. "You've - you've got dedication, I'll give you that!" Little giggles are starting to escape him, and as he suddenly begins to howl with laughter, you try again to grab the paperback out of his hands.
Without breaking a sweat, he shoves you back onto your bed and starts leafing through the book. "Oh my God," Joseph wheezes, wiping a tear away with one hand and holding the book close to his face with the other. "I mean I knew you had feelings for the guy, but I had no idea you loved him like this!" The word 'love' hits you viscerally and you cover your face with your hands, trying to push down your unbearable embarrassment. "Oh God, that's so cute."
"Shut up!" you hiss, finally managing to wrestle the book back from Joseph. "I don't have to explain myself to you," you spit with as much rudeness as you can muster.
"You don't have to explain a thing, my friend," Joseph replies without missing a beat. "I can read you like a book right now."
"Oh my God," you groan, turning away and looking down at the bed. Your face is on fire, and you gingerly set the book down next to your pillow and you fold your arms on your lap. "Just... Fine. You got me, okay?"
"I guess I did get you! I really didn't mean to." Joseph's laughter seems to have finally ended, and he watches as you shift uncomfortably under his gaze. "Sorry for laughing, (Y/N). I'm not trying to make fun of you, I promise - it's just so ridiculous that you're going to all these lengths to win Polnareff over when I'm sure it shouldn't be that difficult."
"Shouldn't be that... What do you mean?" You momentarily put aside your anger when you hear Joseph's words.
"Isn't it obvious? You two are perfect for each other. I'm positive that Polnareff shares your feelings."
"That's funny," you respond, huffing out a little laugh. "He's always flirting with girls, isn't he? I know you've seen him do it."
Joseph rolls his eyes. "Of course I have. That's just the way he is. He can be a bit...familiar with the young women he meets, but I'm fully convinced that you're the person he has his eyes on." Before you can interject with another rebuttal, Joseph speaks again. "Don't argue with me on this. I've been alive far longer than you and I've seen lots of people fall in love in this lovely world!"
You don't want to admit it, but Joseph's actually giving you some confidence here. "You, well... You might be right." Joseph grins. "I'm still gonna try to figure out some of this stupid language, though. I think he'll be happy to hear it - I mean, he's been away from home for a long time." You swing your legs up onto the bed and cross them, grabbing the book and flipping it open as you do.
Joseph marvels at the sheer concentration in your eyes as you force your way through the paperback dictionary. He can't believe how in love you are; it's honestly making him a little teary-eyed. "Well, goodnight," he says as he climbs back under the covers. "Want me to leave the light on?"
"If that's okay, yeah." Joseph nods and lays his head down on his pillow. As he shuts his eyes and drifts off to sleep, he listens to you faintly mutter to yourself, "Je t'aime. Je t'aime, je t'aime, je t'aime..."
-----
The next day comes quickly, and unfortunately you haven't really slept enough to prepare for it. You'd stayed up all night after your little encounter with Joseph, so you're left with about an hour and a half of sleep to get through the day. You and Joseph quickly get ready, and you go to meet the rest of the group in the lobby.
You yawn loudly as you step out of the elevator, and Joseph takes a second to laugh at you before following. You elbow him in the arm as you walk up to Jotaro, Avdol, Iggy, and Polnareff. Kakyoin's still resting up in the hospital; you all miss him dearly.
"Good morning!" Avdol calls, watching as you shuffle into the little group. "Did you two sleep well?"
You simply shake your head, and Joseph laughs a little at your severe expression. "(Y/N) stayed up all night reading," he explains, but after you shoot a look his way he shuts his mouth.
"Oh, really?" Polnareff asks brightly, raising his eyebrows. You look up at him and feel your heart start pounding; if he asks what you were reading you think you might drop dead on the spot. "Didn't take you for the reading type."
You nearly laugh at that, looking incredulously up at Polnareff. "What the hell does that mean - are you calling me dumb?"
"No!" he says hastily, eyes wide. "I mean - maybe." You both start laughing now, and Joseph leaves to return the hotel keys and check out. "In all seriousness," Polnareff starts with a little smile on his face, "I just didn't think you could sit still long enough to enjoy a novel. You seem like a more active person, I guess."
You honestly can't - your little French study sessions have been nothing short of torture. Still, you just shrug. "Everyone enjoys a good story, don't they?"
"Yeah." Polnareff turns to Jotaro and Avdol, who have been chatting to each other. "So, what's on the agenda today?" he asks, leaning against the wall behind him.
"Well..." Avdol thinks to himself for a moment. "We're a few hours away from Cairo. I think we should stay here for a while longer and then start heading there at around midday - so we can arrive under the cover of night."
"You're a good strategist, Avdol," you comment. "I would've just had us all drive into the city and parade around to find a hotel."
Avdol huffs out a laugh. "As much as I'd like to do that, our lives are in danger. We'll have to be really careful once we get to Cairo. I'm sure Dio has eyes everywhere."
"Yeah." You turn to Jotaro, who's been silent so far. Iggy's on the ground next to him, looking as pissed off as a dog possibly can. "How did you sleep last night?"
He just shrugs. "Same old. It was nice having the room to myself, save for this little asshole." He jabs his thumb in Iggy's direction, and you snort. "But yeah, it was fine. I just wanna get this over with. I've been..." He glances down at his shoes. "I've been thinking about my mom."
You'd almost forgotten about the original reason Joseph and his grandson set out on this mission. You had heard from the Foundation a few days ago that Holly Kujo's condition was only worsening. "You're gonna see her soon, huh? When we get to Cairo we'll practically be in Dio's backyard."
Jotaro nods. "Yep. Can't wait to beat the shit out of him."
You grin and nod vigorously. "I'm with you there."
Joseph returns to your little group, and the five of you all huddle together. "So," he starts, taking a deep breath. "Are you thinking we should wait, Avdol?"
"Yes. I was just saying that we should give it a few hours before we get on the road."
Joseph seems satisfied with that answer. "Perfect. So until then... I guess we can do a bit of sightseeing! We should pair up and try to stay at least a little close by. I'll stick with Avdol, and Jotaro - would you mind going with Iggy? If anything happens, both of your stands would be more than capable of taking care of things." Jotaro rolls his eyes and hums in agreement. "Okay. That leaves you two."
The sheer glee in Joseph's shit-eating grin as he looks at you and Polnareff honestly astounds you. Polnareff doesn't seem to notice, and he looks down at you. "Well this'll be fun! I haven't gotten to spend much time with you in the past couple days, (Y/N)." There's a pure affection in Polnareff's voice as he speaks to you, and you feel yourself fall even deeper in love. "We'll see you guys here in three hours, alright?" Joseph nods, waving goodbye with a sickly sweet smile, and Polnareff takes your hand and drags you through the revolving door.
The sun feels great on your skin. You follow Polnareff out, looking at your hand clasped in his as he leads you down the street a ways. He makes you feel so, so happy, and you're overcome by the desire to tell him that. "Where are you going?" you call, laughing a little when you realize you've been following him without having a clue where he's taking you.
He halts suddenly, and you run right into his back. "Oh, shit! Sorry." He spins around and rights you, peering down at your face. "That didn't hurt, did it?"
"N-no." You wince and feel your nose, which had rammed right into one of his shoulder blades. "I'm all good." After a thumbs-up for confirmation, Polnareff is satisfied. "So we're here?"
"Yep!" Polnareff gestures to the shop you're standing in front of. It's a café by the looks of it, and it seems pretty nice. "We passed it while we were driving in yesterday."
"Oh, cool!" Polnareff heads inside and you follow him. At the counter, Polnareff orders a couple pastries and two espressos for both of you. Once he gets his order, he hands you your espresso and walks out the door. He's really intent on getting the most out of these few hours of respite, it seems.
"Now that we have some food," he says, gesturing to the little bag of desserts, "we can have a picnic!" He starts walking briskly down the street, and you nearly have to jog to keep up with him.
"Did you spot this on the way in too?" you ask. He nods. "Damn, I missed so much. I was sleeping." He laughs, and you join in. After a few more minutes, you reach your destination.
It's a little park that overlooks a small, tranquil pond. "Oh, this is neat!" you say. "It's really pretty."
"Yeah." You look up at Polnareff as he gazes out at the scenery. You haven't seen him this relaxed in a long time; he's usually being pestered by Iggy or attacked by some enemy stand user. You're really grateful that you get to share a calm, sweet moment with him before you have to head out to battle in Cairo.
You decide to take a seat on the grass a few feet away from the pond. Polnareff sits down beside you and carefully sets his espresso down on the grass, making sure it doesn't spill, and you do the same. You cross your legs as Polnareff reaches into the bag and pulls out a pastry.
"For you," he says, bowing his head as he hands you a croissant.
You laugh as you take it from him. "I'm honored," you reply, dipping your head in mock gratitude to Polnareff. He smirks a little and takes out a croissant for himself, leaning back and taking a big bite. You try yours, and it tastes amazing. "You're got a good eye," you tell Polnareff, your voice a little muffled as you eat. "This is really good."
"Well it's only natural that I would have an eye for cuisine," he replies with a smug grin. You reach over and slug him in the arm, and he lets out a startled laugh when you hit him. "Hey! It's true." You sigh and turn towards the pond, watching the little ripples in the water as the breeze gently brushes over it. Polnareff's still laughing a little beside you, and the whole scene suddenly feels completely and utterly romantic. You realize with a start that this is the perfect moment to try out your newly acquired language skills!
You pick up your espresso and take a sip; it's just as good as the food had been. Tentatively, you look over at Polnareff and find him staring out at the pond. "C'est un bon café," you say as nonchalantly as you can.
Polnareff nods and smiles faintly. "Oui, je suis d'accord," he replies, but the second the words leave his mouth he whips his head around, staring at you with wide eyes. "What did - did you just - was that French?" he sputters, starting to grin like an idiot.
You return the smile, nodding. "Oui. I'm glad you could understand me."
"Glad I could - God, (Y/N), you're so - " Polnareff suddenly reaches out and wraps you in a huge hug, knocking the wind from you as he practically pulls you into his lap.
"H-hey!" you yelp, laughing loudly as he rests his chin on your shoulder. He sighs, placing his hand at the base of your neck, and you feel a shiver run through you. After a moment, he pulls away and beams at you.
"I didn't know you knew French!" he says brightly; he looks ecstatic. "Why didn't you tell me?"
"I didn't know it until a few days ago," you tell him with a little smile. "I've been picking it up little by little. I still barely know anything."
"You've been...learning it?" he asks softly, raising his eyebrows.
"Yeah! I found a little dictionary at a shop about a week ago, and that's actually what I stayed up all last night reading. Can't say that I'm grasping it very well, but I'm giving it a shot just for you!" The smile drops from your face a bit when you notice that Polnareff's expression has grown somber.
"(Y/N)..." Your eyes widen when you notice tears welling up in Polnareff's eyes. "You've been such a good friend to me. You're always there to make me smile, and well, you've saved my life a few times too. But this, I - you don't know what it means to me."
You reach out and take his hands in yours, a little clumsily. "You're the one who makes me smile. You're my best friend." You're suddenly made acutely aware of the butterflies in your stomach, and you suck in a deep breath. It feels like it's now or never. "Polnareff, there's something I want to tell you." He blinks the tears from his eyes, and you hold his hands a little tighter. "I really - "
Before you can finish, you're punched in the jaw by an impossibly powerful fist. You fly back, landing hard in the grass a few feet away. As you stumble to your feet, swearing and clutching your face, you summon your stand. It fucking figures there's a stand user here. Sometimes you wonder if you're some sort of stand magnet.
Polnareff frantically pulls himself up and dashes over to you. "(Y/N)!" he shouts, holding you by the shoulders and looking at your jaw. "Shit, are you alright?!"
You wince when Polnareff ghosts his fingers over the spot. "Probably not," you mutter, breathing in sharply through your nose. Polnareff freezes, and you shrug his other hand off of you. "We've gotta beat this guy, okay?"
"Y-yeah." Polnareff summons Silver Chariot and stands against your back, scanning the area for the stand or its user. You do the same, trying to push the pain out of your mind. "There!" Polnareff suddenly shouts, and you twist your head around.
It's a man; he's standing on the other side of the pond. He stalks up to the two of you, and as he walks, his stand slowly materializes behind him. It's extremely threatening, with a build that could rival Star Platinum and deep-set, bright red eyes. You force yourself to approach him and Polnareff follows you. Your stand is an archer, suited for long-range battle, and Polnareff's works better at a closer range, so you're usually able to cover each other's blind spots. Your stand pulls out an arrow and nocks it, aiming for the head of your enemy. "(Y/N), right?" he calls, a lax smirk on his face. "And Jean Pierre Polnareff." He and his stand take another step forward, and you tense. Polnareff's Silver Chariot is ready to strike at any moment. "Easy, easy!" he says, raising his hands on either side of his head. "I'm a fair man. Allow me to explain my stand to you."
You glance at Polnareff, and after a moment of hesitation he nods his head. Your stand lowers its bow while Silver Chariot points its rapier to the ground. The man slowly and surely approaches the two of you, and his stand waits beside him. "Thank you. Truce for now?" You grit your teeth and will yourself to nod. "I'm glad. Well, my stand is the Seven of Swords. Essentially, it's extremely powerful. I doubt you'll be able to get a single hit in, if I'm being honest." You can feel rage bubbling up inside you, and as hard as you try to fight it, you just can't kick the feeling. Your gaze flits to Polnareff; he looks just as angry as you.
Grimacing, you look back to the user. "My stand specializes in strength. Every punch it deals leaves a lasting effect - as I'm sure you've noticed, (Y/N)."
You want to scream. The smug look he's wearing and the searing pain in your face is all too much, and before he can continue, you have your stand quickly nock an arrow and fire. You hit him in his right shoulder - he had punched you with that arm - and he falls back, grasping at the wound. "Shit!" he shouts, leaning against his giant stand. With its left arm, Seven of Swords reaches out and yanks the arrow from its user's body.
You start to grin; it looks like you've knocked this guy down a notch. However, just when Polnareff moves to strike and you ready another arrow, he and his stand vanish. "What the hell?" Polnareff mutters, scanning the area. "Where could they have - "
"(Y/N), I'm disappointed!" You scream when the stand wraps its left arm around your neck, squeezing painfully but just lightly enough to let you remain conscious. The man leans in far too close and speaks. "You broke our truce. I suppose I can't be too angry... I wasn't exactly being completely truthful either." The stand's grip on you tightens, and you choke out a cough. Polnareff goes to slice through the arm around your neck, but before you even know what's happened, you're on the other side of the pond. Polnareff, now a great distance away, gapes at you before running over as quickly as he can.
"My Seven of Swords is a master of teleportation," the man announces. "Everything else is just a plus." His stand abruptly releases you, and as you gasp for air, the man grins. "I'm surprised by how easy it was to take care of you, (Y/N). Lord Dio had made you sound a lot tougher." You try to swear at him, but your voice is hoarse and barely understandable.
"(Y/N)!" You turn your head when Polnareff cries your name, and suddenly you're punched hard in the abdomen. You're knocked to the ground and your head smacks into the dirt, and the last thing you see before you lose consciousness is Polnareff's face, equal parts anguished and enraged.
-----
The first thing you note when you fade back into consciousness is a strong pain in your midsection. You groan, forcing your eyes open; looks like you were rescued. You're in your hotel room, and it seems like you're alone. You glance over at the window, gritting your teeth as you shift your aching neck, and you nearly laugh out loud when you see that stupid little dictionary sitting on your bed.
You hear the door open, and you turn to find Polnareff stepping through the doorway. "Hey," you say, your voice quieter than you'd intended.
He looks down at the sound of your voice and grins. "Glad to have you back," he replies softly. "I'm so relieved that you're alright." He carefully sits down beside you on the bed.
"Of course I'm alright." You crack a smile. "I wasn't gonna let that asshole kill me."
Polnareff laughs a little and nods. "Yeah, he was a real piece of shit. After he - after he knocked you out, I held him off for a little while until reinforcements arrived in the forms of Star Platinum and The Fool. The three of us had him crying like a baby."
"Thank God," you sigh. "He deserved it." You both fall into a little silence, neither of you quite sure of what to say. You remember exactly what you had been about to tell Polnareff when you were attacked, but you can't muster up the courage to try again now. "Even if it got fucked up at the end, thank you for the lovely afternoon," you finally say. "I really enjoyed our little picnic."
"So did I." Polnareff starts to speak more, but something catches his eye. You watch as he reaches over you and grabs something; it's the French dictionary. He peers down at it and starts flipping through the pages. Almost instantly he looks completely affronted, and you feel a laugh rise in your chest.
"What is it?" you ask him as he scoffs, shutting the book definitively and setting it back down.
"They made that thing so difficult to understand! It's so much simpler than that makes it out to be, really!" He shakes his head, clearly disappointed with the publication, and you let a little laughter escape. "How about this." He leans in towards you. "Instead of learning out of that stupid book, I can teach you! It'll be a lot more fun."
He's just so...charming. He's always so sincere, especially with you, and the pure kindness in his eyes as he speaks nearly takes your breath away. "That - that would be fun," you reply, too taken with him to think of anything else to say.
He grins. "Good. We can have your first lesson right now."
You laugh at that, making Polnareff jump a bit. "Already? What, am I gonna get homework too?"
He joins in on your laughter and shakes his head. "No, no, it'll be quick." Something in his expression softens, and you blink as he reaches out and places his hand gently over yours. He suddenly looks a lot more serious. "Tell me what I'm saying. Je suis amoureux de toi."
You open your mouth, softly whispering the words. Your mind's nearly a total blank; it seems you really didn't learn much from that dictionary. You're at least determined to get the beginning. "Ah... Je is 'I', so je suis would be 'I am',  right?"
Polnareff nods. He wraps his hand around yours and holds it, just as he had earlier today. "Yes. Je is 'I', suis is 'am'..." He lifts his other hand and entwines it with yours. You're not sure what he's saying but you allow yourself to hope, just a little.
Polnareff's voice is hardly above a whisper as he says, "Je suis amoureux de toi - I'm in love with you."
A huge smile breaks across your face and you feel like you're floating. When Polnareff sees your reaction, his smile widens as well, and he leans down and wraps you up in a careful hug. "I love you too," you murmur in his ear; you think you might burst into tears if you try to speak any louder. "I have for a while now. I'm so happy you - " Despite your best efforts, you feel yourself start to cry. Polnareff leans back a bit, and you're almost amused to see that he's crying too. You probably look like a couple of lovesick fools, and you're so, so, happy.
"I'll never be able to show you how much you mean to me, (Y/N)," Polnareff murmurs before pressing a tender kiss to your cheek. "How much it means to me that you care."
"Of course I care," you whisper back, reaching up and running your fingers through his hair. "I care because you mean the world to me."
Polnareff looks down into your eyes, and you both take in each other's expressions. "You know, I think we're perfect for each other," he breathes, and as you start to agree, he moves forward and captures your lips in a kiss.
Nothing has ever felt more right than Polnareff's lips on yours. You wrap your arms around his back, pulling him as close as you possibly can. He parts from you for just a moment to help you sit up a bit, so that he doesn't cause the injury to your midsection any pain. You wince when a particularly sharp pang of pain hits you, and Polnareff softly runs his hand over your hair. After a moment, the feeling dissipates, and you kiss him again.
"Je t'aime," you breathe against his lips, and he smiles. You gently kiss the corner of his mouth and then rest your head on his shoulder. As he presses a kiss to the crown of your head, you whisper, "Je t'aime, je t'aime, je t'aime..."
-----
It's pitch black out as Joseph drives the group's large car down the winding roads to Cairo, with only the faint radio and Avdol's occasional snores to keep him company. He isn't exactly happy about driving in these conditions, but you had needed a few extra hours of bedrest before you could start this little road trip. Every once in a while, he glances at the back seat, and he finds you, Jotaro, and Polnareff all fast asleep.
After a couple hours of driving, Joseph hears someone stir behind him. He glances up at the rearview mirror and watches as Polnareff rubs his eyes and groggily looks to his left. You're sleeping against him, with your head on his shoulder and one arm loosely wrapped around his midsection. Polnareff's mouth turns up in a little smile, and he carefully wraps his arm around your shoulder.
"So I see everything worked out for (Y/N)," Joseph comments. Polnareff looks up at him, surprised and a little embarrassed to find he was being watched, and Joseph just laughs shortly. "I've always known you two were going to end up together. You really are a perfect fit."
Polnareff's face goes red and he looks back at you. "...Yeah. I'm really lucky."
"Oh, I know!" Joseph laughs again, startling Polnareff. "You should've seen (Y/N) last night, pouring over the French language like their life depended on it. They wanted so badly to make you happy after this hell we've been through."
Polnareff almost feels like crying again. He can't believe how truly lucky he is to have found you. "Still," Joseph says, "it's not quite over yet." Polnareff watches Joseph's expression turn somber through the rear-view mirror. "We've still got to kill Dio."
"Yeah." As he gazes down at you, so peaceful in sleep, he feels a fire light in his mind. He'd do anything to keep you alive, and while killing Dio will surely be extremely difficult, he knows he's going to do it - for Joseph, for Jotaro, for Holly Kujo, and for you. "We'll do it. We'll kill him and we'll all be fine."
"You're quite the optimist," Joseph mutters, sighing. "I try to be as well, but I'm worried that our luck so far will finally catch up to us in this final battle."
Polnareff isn't quite sure what to say, but now there's no doubt in his mind that they'll succeed in the fight against Dio. He just sighs, careful not to disturb you, and rests his head against the car window. "Do you want me to stay awake with you?" he asks Joseph.
"No, I'm fine. We'll be there pretty soon." Polnareff nods and shuts his eyes, and Joseph quickly turns his eyes back to the road.
As Polnareff begins to doze off, he gently clasps your hand in his. He hasn't had a home for a long time; ever since he lost his sister, he hasn't known that feeling of having somewhere - or someone - you truly belong with. Now, next to you, he dares to hope he's feeling it again. He's always loved you, he's realizing - you've always made him feel this way, whenever you joked around together or fought side-by-side in battle. Knowing that you feel the same was the best thing that's ever happened to him.
Just before he falls asleep, he whispers a gentle, "I love you." He holds your hand a little tighter and finally drifts off.
Joseph casts one final glance at the two of you in the back seat. Unlike Polnareff, he's a little more worried about the potential outcome of the face-off with Dio. Maybe, though, just maybe - the endless love you two possess for one another will be what wins the fight.

hail 2 u! ||polnareff x fem! reader
HEY HI so im just kinda dumping stuff from google docs onto here to kind of establish myself so anyway heres my french bb wjhged;; also minor spoilers if you haven’t finished stardust crusaders!!
word count: 2449
summary: you and polnareff were teamed by dio himself and saved by jotaro in hong kong. polnareff is hit with a wave of guilt as you and the crusaders reach what joseph has said to be avdol’s father’s island. you follow him out onto the beach to try and comfort him, and while it seems to work, the enemy stand hiding nearby inside an old middle-eastern kerosene lamp has no intention of giving you both time alone. that is, until the frenchman makes a certain wish.
trigger warnings: none :)

He sat down on the chopped stump of a palm tree, his head in the palm of his hand. She had followed after him when he walked away, she knew he wouldn’t stop blaming himself for the death of Avdol. She approached him from behind with a worried look on her face. “Polnareff…” She said, softly. He turned around. “Oh, [y,n].” He said. “What are you doing here? Shouldn’t you be with Mr Joestar and the others?” She stayed silent. She calmly walked toward the Frenchman and rested on a large rock to his right. “I couldn’t just let you go on your own.” She muttered, her face growing warm. “You know what happens when you’re left by yourself, anyway.” She smiled somberly, trying to lighten the mood.
He chuckled dryly. “Yeah, yeah.” He turned toward her a bit. Thankfully her weak attempt at humor had worked, as his expression seemed less dull. The wind picked up a bit, causing the afternoon sun to beam down a bit more harshly on the beach. He turned his head, and she followed suit. He squinted his eyes. “Hey, is that…?” She tilted her head. “It looks like…” He stood up and approached the shiny object, a dull gold hue peppering through a barnacle clad shell. She raised herself off of the rock and took a few steps forward, glancing around his side. “It’s pretty.” He said, his eyebrows raised.
He picked it up and examined it. “I wonder if it came from a shipwreck. Look at all of those barnacles.” She added, moving around and picking at it with her fingernails. “Hey, hey! Careful! You might scratch the gold underneath!” He said, holding it above his head and significantly out of her reach. “H-Hey! No fair, Pol!” She cried with furrowed eyebrows. He laughed at her futile attempts. “Yeah, right!” The two of them went through a solid minute of teasing, insulting, jumping, and punching (Three of those four were brought upon by [y,n], that is), it seemed that the strange object had been rubbing around in his hand quite a bit.
A sudden burst of blinding light beamed out through what was left of the barnacles and caused Polnareff and [y,n] both to panic, and him to drop it. They both stepped back, [y,n] opposite to him. An odd smoke rose out of the tip of what was now seen to be a kerosene lamp of sorts; similar to the one from Aladdin. Though, the smoke disappeared just as quickly as it had come, causing the two of them to look around confused. The light and smoke both were gone, but the lamp remained. Polnareff sighed after a moment. “Man! That was weird. Must’ve been pressurized air from inside.” He said, a hand on his forehead. [y,n] nodded looking to the left. “Would’ve been cooler if there were a genie, but, you’re right. Probably just gas.”
When she looked back, however, she panicked and pointed behind him. “P-Polnareff, look out! A Stand!” He jumped, his eyes widening. He took long strides toward her and whipped his head around. “What the hell?!” A peculiar looking Stand, one which appeared to be more industrial than some of the previous that the group had encountered. “Three wishes!” The Stand called, holding up an arm-like appendage; though it had only three fingers on each hand. “I will grant you three wishes! Whatever you wish is my command, master!” The Stand was gigantic, standing a solid 10 feet tall. “My name is Cameo. Thank you for letting me out of my lamp.” [y,n] glanced around, sweat sliding down her cheek. “Uhh, n-no problem.”
Though, it didn’t seem that Polnareff was ready to initiate conversation with the entity. “Another Stand user! [y,n], back me up!” She looked at him and nodded her head. Blossom Samurai and Silver Chariot, both sword wielding Stands, got into a sort of formation, with Samurai behind Chariot. They battered Cameo with their swords, but they barely did any damage. Chariots rapier was too weak, and Blossom’s attacks were only a mere second too slow causing Cameo to dodge with ease. “Son of a…” Breathed them both in unison. “You’re pretty strong!” Said Polnareff. “Your user must be close. Where is he?” Cameo crossed its arms. “Again, I’m here only to grant wishes. Do you want your first wish to be a lame one like that?” He groaned.
Polnareff granted. “Yeah, yeah, what is it with you and wishes, huh? Are you saying you can make me rich right now?” Cameo’s voice was unwavering. “Is that your first wish?” Polnareff relaxed a small bit, but was still on edge. “You know what? Sure, dumbo. Let’s see you put your money where your mouth is.” Cameo’s arms uncrossed. [y,n] squinted. “Fine, then. Your wish shall be granted.” The two of them raised their eyebrows. “Huh?” Mumbled [y,n]. Cameo put its arms in an odd position, like a puppeteer would do, and raised its voice. “Hail 2 U!”
It immediately disappeared, causing them to blink a few times and watch the leftover smoke dissipate. Polnareff reached down and pulled the half buried lamp from the sand. Night had nearly fallen by now, but it was still visible. “What was all that about?” Polnareff asked in a confused tone. He sighed. “So…” she muttered. “What was that thing? Was it a Stand, or wasn’t it?” He shrugged. “If it is, what a weird Stand to send after someone.” He noted with a chuckle. She nodded her head. Damn these Stand users; she just wanted a chance to be with Polnareff. She excused the thought from her head with a bite of her lip. “Do you think maybe it’s got something to do with Avdol’s dad?” He shrugged his shoulders, the sunlight caressing his face in a way that would make anyone melt.
Her face got hot again. This stupid Frenchman has no idea what he’s doing, sending soft gazes her way. Every time he laughed, she felt like melting butter. She couldn’t help but look away from him with a coy grin. Polnareff chuckled. “Hey, what’s that look for? Come on, you don’t have to force yourself to look away. I know you think I’m hot.” He teased nonchalantly. She rolled her eyes and laughed. “Hah! As if, stupid.” She sent him a playful grin and stuck her tongue out. She was really hoping he didn’t actually know.
It was then in that moment, both of them smiling goofily at each other, that a noise was heard. “Hey, what was that?” He asked, turning around. “Sounded like metal.” She said, walking in the direction of the noise. It was near; maybe just in the grass 6 feet away. Polnareff followed suit, and lo and behold. “W-Whoa!” She cried, leaning in. “No way!” He yelled afterward. The two of them crowded around what appeared to be a half buried chest of doubloons, jewelry, and bejeweled goldware. “T-That’s real buried treasure!” He called, scooping a few coins out. “But how?” She asked, tuning her fingers through it. “Hell if I know! But this is all mine!” He laughed chaotically.
“You little—! I helped you find this, I get half! 50/50!” He snorted. “As if, stupid!” He retorted, mocking her previous statement. “Ooooh, I’m gonna kick your--!” Directly before she went for his money, Cameo’s booming voice echoed from above. “Now, what is your second wish? I shall grant it.” The two of them shot their gazes up to the Stand. Polnareff freaked and dropped the coins, to which [y,n] then picked up and stuffed in her pocket. “Y-You! Why are you doing this?! Whatever you have up your sleeve, I’m not falling for it!” He yelled up at the genie, perched in a palm tree. “I am keeping the gold though.” He added shortly after.
Cameo stayed silent for a moment. The only sound that could be heard was the wind blowing and the ocean rocking. “Is the answer to that question your second wish? As thanks for my freedom, I’ll give you anything,  including such a stupid answer.” [y,n] huffed and nudged Polnareff. He looked down at her and his expression softened. “F-Fine, then.” He closed his eyes and sighed. “I want to be a comic artist!” He exclaimed. The answer threw [y,n] for a loop completely. A comic artist? She had never known he was interested in art. In fact, the only interest he’d shown was when he’d watch her draw.
“I’ve always wanted to be one! And not just some starving artist, either! I want to be more popular than Walt Disney!” She furrowed her eyebrows with a stunned expression. “Huh?” She whispered. “Pol, I don’t think—“ he cut her off. “I want to create Polnareff Land!” He stood with his arms out in a comically dramatic stance, [y,n] in a stunned (and slightly embarrassed) silence at his side. “... Is this your wish?” Polnareff lowered his arms. “Actually, no, wait,” Oh thank God. She wiped metaphorical sweat from her forehead. Maybe he’d think of something more rational.
          “I want a girlfriend!”
The phrase made her freeze in place. Her eyes were wide and her throat closed. He wanted a girlfriend, did he? He really must have just thought of her as a friend, then. She kept her mouth shut and kept her eyes on Cameo. What was she supposed to say to that? The words echoed in her mind. She wanted to love him like that so badly, but Polnareff seemed to feel otherwise. “Love is better than money or fame.” He said with a grin. At least he was sincere about that, she could tell. “She’s got to be really cute. I want a girl who’s my perfect match! Our pinkies entwined with the red string of love!” He held up his right pinkie finger for emphasis.
Polnareff had never made her feel so conflicted before. Her insecurities began to softly gnaw at her. Was she not cute enough? She felt like they were perfect for each other. She’d liked him since Hong Kong. Was this really happening? She simply kept her gaze on Cameo. She stared at it. What was it going to do? She thought genies couldn’t make people fall in love. “You want me to find the perfect match for you?” It asked him. “Yeah! Try that, bastard!” Cameo sat still for a moment. As she was staring, she noticed it turn its head slightly in her direction. It was looking at her.
She inhaled sharply. What was it doing? Cameo was completely silent for several seconds until it finally decided to pipe up. “Very well.” It turned its head back to Polnareff slowly. “Hail 2 U!” The Stand once again dissolved into smoke. Polnareff looked at his finger expectantly, and sure enough, there it was. She saw it too. The red string of fate. He grinned. “Oh, wow! I finally get to have my perfect girl!” He beamed. She stayed silent. He looked down at her curiously. “Hey, you okay? You’d usually have made fun of me or something by now.” She looked ahead and nodded. “Yeah! Yeah, I’m good. I’m happy for you, man.” Though she never once looked at him. Polnareff sighed. “Thanks, I’m glad too! Let’s see, where does it lead?” He held the string and noticed it went to his right. He looked in growing surprise to see [y,n] standing there, staring into the ocean with the most flat look he’d seen her sport, and a growing lump in her throat. Was she about to cry?
He wasn’t really sure what prompted him to do it. What made him want to look down first before pressing her on how she felt. Though he was sure glad he did; in fact, it was arguably the best decision he made during that 50 day trip. If he hadn’t taken a mere half second to glance down below her waist, Polnareff wouldn’t have caught the crimson string tied around her finger until a much later, possibly much more awkward time during their interaction. He felt his heart swell inside of his chest, sheer ecstasy causing blood to rush to his cheeks and make his face burn as if he himself were a bonfire of sheer emotion.
“H-Hey…” he began, reaching out with a shaky left hand. “Hm?” She looked over. She hoped the darkness of night would hide the tear that had dropped from her right eye and down her cheek. “[y,n], you, uh… your hand.” She slowly held up her left hand and stared in shock at the string around her pinkie. “That’s— that’s the-“ she quickly turned to look at his hand. Sure enough, the two were bound. Polnareff soon grew a stupid grin. “Well, well. Look at that.” The utter euphoria she experienced in that moment went unmatched with anything else she’d ever felt. “We-“ she choked back another sob as more tears fell. She covered her mouth and shut her eyes.
Polnareff freaked out. “H-Hey!! You okay? [y,n], c’mon! I’m not that bad!” He joked. “You idiot!” She called, throwing her arms around him. “You scared me!” She heaved into his shoulder. “I thought- I thought you didn’t—“ she shakily said. He chuckled. “Hey, hey! Calm down! If you’re wondering if I didn’t like you, you’re not just wrong. You’re stupid.” He grinned softly. She giggled like a little kid on Christmas. “I was so afraid when you said you wanted a girlfriend.” She said, pulling away. Polnareff put his arms around her waist.
“I thought I wasn’t good enough.” She laughed awkwardly. “I only said it because I thought you didn’t like me.” She noticed a glimmer in Polnareff’s eye; he was crying too. “O-Oh, Pol, you-“ before she could say another word he pressed his full lips against hers in a brief kiss. “Shut up.” He laughed, tears smeared on her face. She snorted and wiped his cheek. “I’ve liked you for so long. Ever since Hong Kong.” He scoffed playfully. “Ever since Dio paired us, you little snail. Did you just ignore all my little attempts to go on dates with you?” She giggled. “I didn’t wanna take it the wrong way. You never actually asked, idiot.”
“Well, how about this.” He cleared his throat and laughed again. “Do you want to go on a date with me?” She nodded with a dumb grin. “Yes, yes, of course, dumbass.” She leaned up for a kiss and he returned the gesture. “Let’s beat the hell outta this guy and regroup, okay?” He smiled. “My pleasure.”

Valentine’s Event: Happy Valentine’s Day!
Prompt: Kakyoin + Tattoos
Ao3 Link
Author’s Note: Hey guys! Happy Valentine’s Day! I hope you’ve enjoyed my little fic collection over this past week, it was so much fun to write! I’d like to thank @magthemage for beta reading all these stories! Go read her stuff, she’s awesome!
This story in particular is an everyone lives! au, where you are a former Stardust Crusader, and you, Kakyoin, and Jotaro are all college students who enroll in an American University and share an apartment. Also, while the reader is gender-neutral, I did say they were smaller than the rest of the crusaders... sorry if you’re a beefcake! There’s also the tiniest bit of suggestiveness, but no actual nsfw. Everyone in this fic is aged up to be over 21, and please drink responsibly! Enjoy!
Tumblr media
“Kakyoin!” You exclaimed, wrapping your arm around your sober friend’s shoulder, “C’mon, it’ll be so cool!”
“Yeah, we can all get ‘em in the same spot too! It’ll be so rad! C’mon, even Jotaro is down!” Polnareff slurred from the other side of the table, motioning to Jotaro who only gave a solemn thumbs up.
“We are not getting matching tattoos,” Kakyoin deadpanned, getting tired of all his companion’s drunk antics. It’s funny- after defeating Dio, he thought all his troubles were over. But, because the injuries he got in Egypt rendered him unable to drink, he was forever doomed to be the designated driver.
Unluckily for him, this was a rowdy group to handle.
“Kakyoin,” Mr.Joestar placed a hand on his shoulder, brushing you off of him, “We’ll even let you pick. It’s not as cool if we don’t all get one.”
“You’re all wasted,” he chuckled, looking at how all of his friends swayed, red in the face, letting the conversation wander aimlessly after way too many shots. After you all defeated Dio, you made it a tradition to meet up and celebrate the bastard’s death by getting as plastered as possible. While you still saw the others fairly regularly, seeing as you, Jotaro, and Kakyoin became roommates after high school, it was nice to have the others fly in to see everyone again.
Kakyoin watched as Jotaro and Avdol sat in silence, the former’s signature cap pulled over his eyes. They were subdued drunks, getting all quiet when under the influence. Kakyoin noticed how Avdol would turn a tad introspective after a few shots, abruptly bringing up thought-provoking questions like “Do Stands Dream?” or “Where do the clouds go after they roll by?” Jotaro, on the other hand, tended to mellow out. His short fuse stretched out a bit when he was drunk, and for once, he could take a joke.
Polnareff and Joseph, on the other hand, embodied pure chaos. Joseph would always try to instigate things: karaoke, bar fights, getting matching tattoos, and Polnareff would sing his praises and go along with all of his crazy schemes. Somehow, the Frenchman would get even louder, barking for the bartender to bring him more shots so he could out-drink everyone in the building.
Then, there was you. While you could certainly hold your booze better than others of your stature, you were no match for the hulking giants that were your fellow crusaders. So, while you kept pace with them while you were drinking, you would get shit-faced before they were feeling the slightest bit buzzed. While you were usually pretty fun and adventurous, the alcohol in your system turned that up to eleven, making you down for anything and everything.
“Wouldn’t it be so cool to get something together?” You grinned to Kakyoin, eyes wide with excitement, “To show how close we are after everything that happened, Jotaro?”
“You’re talking to Kakyoin, (Y/n),” he sighed, calling the bartender over for the bill. You had all had more than enough for the night.
“Then why are you wearing that funny hat, hm?” You said, flicking Kakyoin’s pronounced bang with a giggle. You were trashed. Kakyoin thought about your impending wrath tomorrow, and having to deal with a hangover for the ages.
“What would we get for a tattoo? Dio’s name?” Polnareff asked the group, sitting back in the booth seat. Jotaro, with surprisingly little bite in his voice, grumbled and shook his head.
“I’m not getting that asshole’s name anywhere on my body.”
“Y’know that picture we took? When we first got to Egypt?” Joseph spoke up, “We could all get that across our backs!”
“That’s way too complex!” Polnareff protested with a smile. You got everyone’s attention when you slapped your hands down on the table with a thundering ‘boom.’
“Guys,” you beamed, pure excitement in your voice, “Iggy. Tramp. Stamps.”
The table fell silent as everybody stared at you blankly. For a moment, Kakyoin thought everyone would laugh at your silly idea. That was the tackiest tattoo anyone has ever thought up!
Polnareff, with a look as serious as death, gave a resounding “Hell yeah!”
After that, all hell broke loose, as even the more subdued members of the group went along with the idea. It was agreed that Iggy, who Polnareff took in after everything went down, would get a collar with his own face on it in solidarity. Despite the risqué location, everyone seemed pumped to get matching tramp stamps of the world’s grumpiest Boston Terrier. Even Jotaro was nodding along as the more vocal members rambled on and on.
“Okay, it’s time to go,” Kakyoin shouted over the group, causing the uproar to die down for a moment, “I’m driving, let’s get in the car.”
“Oh my gosh, he’s doing it,” you cheered, wrapping Kakyoin in a tight, powerful hug, “Kakyoin’s gonna drive us to the tattoo parlor!”
The others broke out in celebration, high-fiving each other as they readied themselves to get all inked-up. The bartender gave Kakyoin a sorry look as he herded everyone into his car, having to walk you there the whole way as you stumbled through the parking lot.
It seemed that everyone felt dizzy as they stood up from their seats, and while Polnareff and Joseph were still a little talkative, the car’s atmosphere was a lot more relaxed than the bar’s. Kakyoin had done this drive a few times before, having to calm down his former travel companions after a hearty night of drinking, so he had it down to a science. Putting a CD labeled “Joseph had a Crazy Idea -Mix” into the player, Kakyoin drove around the block a few times, waiting patiently for the conversation to die down.
Soon enough, the car fell silent as everyone stooped into a drunken haze, bodies limp in their seats as they nearly dozed off to sleep. However, you were buckled into the passenger’s seat, lightly snoring as you drifted into dreamland. Just as expected.
As Kakyoin slowly dropped off the various men at their hotels, who had forgotten about their planned misadventure in their intoxicated stupor, he found himself smiling at your sleeping form as you wormed around in your seat. He’d be lying if he said he didn’t have feelings for you- he knew he did all the way back when you two were teenagers, when you saved him from certain death at Dio’s hand- and seeing you like this always warmed his heart. You were a battle-hardened badass like the rest of them, having seen Dio’s horrors at an age that was simply too young for comfort; but here you were, sleeping peacefully with the giddiest look on your face imaginable.
Sometimes, being your roommate was hard. He knew you were so close, that he could just walk over to your room and confess his ever-growing feelings for you whenever he wanted, that one day he could share a bed with this sleeping angel right next to him. It was on days like this that he realized why he liked you so much: you were kind, cute, and a lot more fun then he was.
Pulling up to your apartment, Jotaro slowly made his way out of the backseat, not even giving Kakyoin a passing glance as he went into the apartment. Leaving Kakyoin to deal with your passed out form, the red-head sighed, unbuckling your seatbelt as he pulled your from the car. He carried you up a flight of stairs, careful not to let you stir, using Hierophant to open the apartment’s door.
Jotaro looked dead, passed out face-down on the couch. Kakyoin rolled his eyes as Hierophant pulled a blanket over his friend- he’d be a pleasure to deal with in the morning.
“Jotaro,” you giggled out, taking Kakyoin by surprise as you lightly flicked his bang around, “Are we at the tattoo parlor yet?”
Kakyoin quickly tried to shush you, rushing into your room so as to not wake your more aggressive roommate, “No, (Y/n), I’m Kakyoin.”
“Jotaro,” you repeated, much to Kakyoin’s sober displeasure, “Do you think Kakyoin is gonna get the tattoo?”
“I don’t think so, you should try and get some rest,” he whispered to you, setting you down on your bed. He helped you take off your shoes, and despite being in full dress, you make yourself cozy under the covers.
“That’s too bad,” you sighed dramatically, looking up at him through blurry vision, “I was hoping I could see his ass while he got his tattoo. You know how much I like his butt!”
Taken back by your comment, Kakyoin couldn’t stop the hearty laugh that slipped through his lips. He knew he shouldn’t press this topic further, but he was so amused he couldn’t help himself.
“You like Kakyoin’s ass, huh?”
“Duh!” you laughed along with the man, despite not knowing what ‘Jotaro’ found so funny, “Have you seen him in that one pair of skinny jeans he owns? Hot Damn!”
Kakyoin started laughing even harder, wishing he could record this conversation and show it to you later. You’d probably kill him, but this was a nice treat after a long night of dealing with a hollering group of drunken idiots. However, he couldn’t help but feel all warm and fuzzy at your words- did you really find him attractive? It felt really nice to be thought of that way, especially by you.
“I think that ass is made of pure boyfriend material, if you ask me,” you snorted, taking Kakyoin completely by surprise, “Jojo, I know you tell me to just man-up and ask him out, but I don’t wanna scare him away. If he doesn’t like me anymore, he won’t take me to get tattoos!”
Kakyoin froze, trying to process everything he just heard. While cheesy, he never wanted to forget that ‘boyfriend material’ line, or the way your voice softened while you spoke about him. He was in awe of the fact that you had feelings for him- feelings so strong that they had to be confided in Jotaro- and how you feared that he wouldn’t be interested. The red-head was puzzled by your doubts. How could someone as wonderful as you ever not be enough? How could you ever think he didn’t return your feelings? Sometimes, he felt like his feelings were obvious- but, here he was, standing before you as you wearily blinked up at him, eyelids becoming heavy.
“Shhhhh, don’t tell him!” You yawned, weakly dragging your finger over his lips, “Wake me when we get to the tattoo parlor...”
Kakyoin watched your head clunk down onto the pillow, and you were out like a light. After tucking you in, he left the room feeling a little guilty; that was obviously a secret you didn’t want him to hear. However, at the same time, he was over the moon. The person he had admired for years was suddenly in his grasp, finally attainable after years and years of silent pining.
Before he went to bed, Kakyoin made a point to pull his skinny jeans from his closet, laying them out on top of his dresser. He’d be needing them for tomorrow- he wanted his ass to look good while he asked you out, is all.

Hmmmmm... JotaKak headcanons? If you want to, of course, just thought some p3 would be nice. It can be platonic or romantic, whichever you like best!
Yo! I’m such shit at writing shippy stuff so I went down the platonic bro route :)
You can tell I have insane brain rot right now because I went a bit too hard on all of these oops-
I’m so sorry about the last one its too cursed drghkjfhg
◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇
Kakyoin is a very active sleeper.
-You can always catch him moving around, twitching, mumbling, etc…he’s a nightmare to share a bed with
-He can’t control it at all, so Jotaro would pay no mind to it when they had to share rooms and tried to ignore it—until it got progressively worse
-He started to notice when Kakyoin would get nightmares, he wouldn’t be able to wake up from them, he would just keep on thrashing around until someone would shake him awake (which he ends up doing more times that Kak would like to admit)
-He never talks about what they're about but judging on what he says in his sleep, Jotaro has a pretty good idea
-He absolutely cannot be touched when he’s finally awake, so stand hugs become a recurring thing :)
- It gets to a point where Star ends up sitting at the end of Kakyoin’s bed all night just watches him to make him feel safer
-Jotaro claims that he doesn’t have control over Star Platinum’s overprotective nature but that’s not entirely true
Since they’re the only two who speak fluent Japanese, they crack jokes with each other all the time and have little conversations with each other way more than they do with the others.
-Kakyoin spent a pretty long period of time studying English (having no friends will do shit to you,) but Jotaro isn’t as confident with his
-Kakyoin is the only one in the group who knows that Joot isn’t just soft spoken, but instead mega self-conscious about his English
-Does he make Kakyoin order food for him? Yes. Does he make him ask for directions? Yes. Does Kakyoin always tease him about it? Yes.
-Kakyoin makes Jotaro speak only in English an hour before they go to bed to help him learn and he feels so fucking stupid because his pronunciation is awful and he can barely say any shit without his face turning red but he does it anyway because he knows it'll help :)
Jotaro is not emotionless.
-I read in the back of my Stardust manga that Jotaro just bottles up his feelings for the sake of the importance of the mission to defeat DIO and I just- dfkjghsdahfd
-Although Kakyoin just cries freely whenever he feels like it, our boy Joot Doot has alternative outlets
-Shit like crying in the shower, while everyone’s asleep, or outside are stuff he’ll do but only if he’s positive that he’ll be alone
-After a particularly rough fight, they checked into their hotel rooms and while Kakyoin left to go get something to eat, Jotaro just collapses onto his bed and fuckin bawls
-Star is squeezing him so hard and he’s so out of it that he doesn’t even notice Kakyoin walk back into the room and jesus is our boy shocked
-Jotaro braces himself for a round of taunts but instead he just sits down next to him and asks him if he wants to talk about it :’)
-He doesn’t but its always good to have a bro to sit and cry with
After the Death 13 fight, Kakyoin refuses to sleep.
-Fairly enough, he’s worried that he might not wake up again
-He knows he should talk to someone about it, but if he brings up anything that happened in the desert that day, they‘ll just assume he’s lost his mind again
-So he refuses to sleep, instead
-Jotaro starts to notice things when Kakyoin starts looking rough—our boy had the eyebags, the exhausted expression, on-edge demeanor, the whole-ass package— but Kakyoin just dismisses it as nothing
-He decides to wait to go to sleep until Kakyoin closes his eyes first, and when he just doesn’t, he starts to get concerned
-Jotaro finally confronts him about it and Kakyoin gets ready to deny any of his questions, but something inside him snaps and he tells him everything and Jotaro believes him
-Death 13 was the only tarot card they hadn’t fought yet, so why would he lie about that?
-Although he offhandedly refuses to sleep, the next night Jotaro busts in with this giant mug of sleepy tea and makes him drink every last drop in front of him
-Jotaro thought that would convince him to finally close his eyes, but once he feels too tired to keep them open, he starts freaking the fuck out
-The night ends with Star Plat holding him until he’s able to get to sleep (because who wouldn’t feel safe in the warm arms of a purple punch ghost?) and Jotaro making sure that he stayed that way
-His insomnia never fully went away, but he’s got his best homie to help him out whenever sleep ails him :)
Jotaro is actually really insecure about his height.
-It was pretty typical to poke Joot about his height because, well, he’s a 17 year old that already reaches 6’5”
-It was also pretty typical for Joot to pull down his hat and say nothing because that’s how he reacts to everything
-It wasn’t until the two of them were chilling in their hotel rooms one night when Jotaro quietly popped the question: “Do you think I’m too tall?”
-Kak almost laughs at that but when he sees the concerned look on his face, he realizes, oh my god, he’s actually serious
-His mind immediately goes back to all the times that he’s seen Jotaro staring at himself in the mirror, preferring to sit in the back of the car and never walking side-by-side with any of them
-And he suddenly feels really, really bad
-Jotaro doesn’t talk about it much, but Kakyoin knows he feels the worst when Joseph talks about it even though he knows Joseph is probably just proud of the Joestar trait being passed on
-He stops making comments on his height and always makes sure that he’s not seen as some kind of “freak” for something as stupid as his height :)))
They tried to dye Jotaro’s hair once.
-YES this is total crack but here me out
-Kakyoin finds some cheap-ass hair dye in some store or market
-He busts in and before Jotaro can even speak, Kakyoin is already planning how he’s gonna do this
-Joot is completely opposed to the idea, but Kakyoin says he’ll tell Avdol and Polnareff that Jotaro ate the rest of their chocolate (which he did in fact do)
-They grab some bleach, lock their door, and get ready to screw themselves over
-The process goes a little something like this:
“Okay...the bleach is supposed to sting pretty badly...think you’ll be okay?”
“Just shut up and get it over with.”
*starts spreading bleach*
“ORAAAAA—”
-Turns out that despite punching the shit out of people being his job description, Jotaro has the most sensitive scalp on the planet
-Star Platinum is freaking out, grabbing his hair with one hand and trying to find shit to throw with the other, and Jotaro is sitting there with this blank, lifeless stare
“I’m guessing it hurts?”
“...”
“...”
“...yeah.”
-Is Jotaro starting to freak out a bit? Maybe. Do they stop now...?
-They don’t really have a choice because Star just demolished the hotel alarm clock
-They started right in the middle of his head, and when Jotaro looks in the mirror he sees this patch of blond right in the dead centre of his scalp and lets out this bewildered and devastating yelp
-Kakyoin get’s this awful feeling in his stomach they had just royally fucked up, and when it still stays there after they try to wash it out he knows they did an oopsie
-Joot is just standing there in shock and Star starts trying to rip out his own hair and Kakyoin is praying to god that they don’t wake up the others
-They end up just saying fuck it and putting in the dye anyway because he can’t just have a blond spot for the rest of the trip
-The stuff Kakyoin picked out was actually a shade of purple so dark that it almost looks black and it actually works out almost perfectly
-Most of it is covered up by his hat but there’s a little streak that pokes out into the open and it glows in the sun :)
-No one knows about this and no one even NOTICES until they get back from Egypt and Holly is like “YOU DYED YOUR HAIR?! IT LOOKS SO CUTE!” and at this point Jotaro has just completely stopped caring about it because it was weeks ago and gives them this deadass “yep” and walks out of the room
◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇◆◇

Apart from Jotaro and Kakyoin (unfortunately) what are your other favourite jojo ships? I’d love to know
OHHHH POST YOUVE OPENED A CAN OF FUCKING WORMS LET ME GO OFF
i have a disease that makes me invested in the joestars’ happiness to an absurd level so bc of that a lot of ships i enjoy involve,,,one joestar,,,but there r others i swear let me just start rantingi
jonaeriwagon is soooooo so so cute it involves the most wholesome and purehearted jojo characters and it makes me smile so wide. erina and jonathan r childhood sweethearts and erina helped jonathan back on his feet after he lost EVERYTHING in the first fight against dio at the mansion. jonathan and speedwagon are best FRIENDS OKAY!! SPEEDWAGON LITERALLY CHANGES HIS ENTIRE WALK OF LIFE BECAUSE OF JONATHAN AND THE KINDNESS HE SHOWED HIM. i know erina and speedwagon didn't interact a whole lot in part 1 but like they're BEST. FRIENDS. in part 2, so much so joseph thought something was going on between them. i bring this up bc then it’s proof that this ship is full of ppl who just care for each other so much. they just adore each other and love each other and I'm crying
caejoseq is my FAVVV OKAY they're so stupid and in love. i love love love love imagining caesar and suziq falling in love slowly when he’s first training as lisalisa’s student and like they never do anything about it cause they're both so shy (yes caesar is shy bc these feelings r more genuine romance rather than sexual, unlike his other flings) but it’s obvious enough they both understand to a degree the other knows they like them sjkd;dn cuties. but then JOSEPH BARGES IN with his stupid hamon-breathing mask and his stupid blue-green eyes and his stupid lax personality combined with the moments he takes thing seriously during which is works hard as fuck/smart as fuck. he just completely sweeps them off their feet they had no fuckin warning whatsoever. so after a bunch of messy and intense pining from the both of them they eventually sit down and are like okay. we should do smth about feelings actually. so they Do and it ends with the polycule and I'm (”: smiling so wide they loved each other do u understand
AVPOL!! DO NOT GET ME STARTED OKAY it’s the survivor’s guilt and cherishing and longing for me sis!!!!!! I'm just saying both have pasts (araki said avdol’s backstory was so sad he didn't wanna put it into sdc so that’s where I'm drawing this from) that leave them focused on things other than their direct happiness/their own futures but then they connect and even though they're so fucking different they are SOOO different they're still the same on this level and i think!!! that would be everything for them finally someone who understands...listen I'm ging to go insane do you hear me. avdol loves this stupid fucking Frenchman so much because said stupid fucking Frenchman just cares so much about everything. meanwhile polnareff is in love with this fuckin god of a man who’s patient and kind and funny and a skilled enough fighter it’s stated explicitly in canon “oh avdol’s the one we need to worry about most not jotaro” like fuck polnareff is ENAMOURED WITH HIM!! AND I DONT FUCKING BLAME HIM!! and just dude. when pol thinks avdol came back to life and he starts crying tears of joy and hugs him so tightly and avdol just laughs but hugs him back imfmfjfj help. help. help. help. help. POLNAREFF LITERALLY ASKS HIM OUT ON A DATE THIS IS FUCKIN!!! CANON!!! i cant do this stupid fuckign idiots i love them
JOSUYASU!!!!!! TWO GUYS BEIGN DUDES WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT??? like listen we have such a SLEW of wholesome moments between these two the opening to the tonio episode is literally just them going on a date OKUYASU WAS GONNA FEED JOSUKE AND JOSUKE DIDNT EVEN FUCKING QUESTION IT OKAY THAT’S KINDA GAY THAT HAS ROMANTIC FUCKING UNDERTONES!! and them fighting against shigechi idk man i just love their dynamic it’s such a pleasant bro relationship and i love them. but even beyond the wholesome moments when okuyasu fucking dies josuke loses his SHIT!!! DO YOU HEAR ME HE GOES FUCKIGN INSANE!!!!! HE’S SCREAMING AND CRYING AND BEGGING OKUYASU TO WAKE UP AT THE EXPENSE OF HIS LIFE FUCKIGN HAYATO HAD TO SHRIEK AT HIM TO MOVE HIS ASS OUT OF THE WAY OF KIRA’S BOMB LIKE!! listen the recklessness and furiousness of josuke’s tactics after okuyasu “”died”” haunts me. he didn't want to live in a world without him and meanwhile okuyaus LITERALLY TRIUMPHS OVER DEATH BECAUSE HE DOESNT WANT TO LEAVE JOSUKE’S SIDE HELP ME GIRL FJKF;NDJN FUCK. fuck. so yeah i lvoe them
fugionara... any combination of this ship makes me go nuts okay okay. the dynamics in the bucci gang will forever leave me in tatters but THE ONES BETWEEN THESE THREE IN PARTICULAR. FUCK ME UP. it’s the healing it’s the animosity it’s the regret it’s the trying to figure out your own mentally ill self while also the world ur in with these ppl u love so much and I'm going crazy okay okay okay. idk how to quite put my feelings for them in worlds i just have a lot of them and they are fuckin. overhwelming. just narancia for example meant EVERYTHING to fugo as evidence by purple haze feedback (literally every other paragraph is a flashback) and the only time giorno cries in the anime is when narancia dies. meanwhile fugo saved narancia’s life and giorno knew when to take narancia seriously as opposed to a joke. and then THE WHOLE DISCUSSION ABOUT GRIEF FUGO AND GIORNO HAVE IN PURPLE HAZE FEEDBACK? listen something about these three make me go insane and feral
foolymes like okay. okay. I'm shaking like a dog trying not to go overboard on this justification just listen to me. hermes and jolyne first find someone to trust in prison in each other. jolyne cares abt her enough that she first learns how to use stone free’s string-on-a-telephone ability bc she wanted to watch over hermes. hermes loves nd respects jolyne that after she wakes up from getting a stand shes like “hm. wonder where jolyne is” and goes to find her before all that bullshit happened just hey okay LISTEN TO ME!! and then they get foo they save her it’s just like fucking kakyoin they give her another chance and they show her what relationships are supposed to be like (fulfilling) they enjoy her company and make her laugh and she makes them laugh in return ohmy god EVERYTHING FOO FIGHTERS DID WAS FOR JOLYNE AND HERMES DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME!!! the marilyn mansion debt collector arc. the kiss of love and revenge arc. foo fighter’s death. I'm going to eat rocks in an attempt to stop feeling oh my god JOLYNE DIDNT EVEN BELEIVE FOO FIGHTERS WAS DYING AND THEN SHE GOT HYSTERICAL LIKE “BUT WE CAN JUST REMAKE YOU RIGHT WE HAVE YOUR STAND DISC??” SHE DOESNT WANT HER TO GOOO HELP ME HELP ME. I'm in tatters these three girls loved each other so fucking much they just wanted each other safe and they DESERVED to be safe and happy together but araki is fucking evil
jotaweather I KNOW THIS IS A CRACK SHIP I KNOW I KNOW I KNOW DONT FUCKIGN LOOK AT ME JUST HEAR ME OUT. jotaro and weather r both of similar demeanor that is quiet soft-speaking intimidating strong big aura of sadness coming from them. both have powerful stands and both had real fucked up luck in the love department. i also hc both to be autistic so that’d be another similarity. i jus think them settling down together after everything went down in a stone ocean au would be very soft and sweet yknow? they wouldn't even necessarily start it off in a romantic sense but they just take the time to try and heal with each other and eventually it just kinda veers that way. yeah
gyjo for OBVIOUS reasons like are you serious? gyro changed johnny’s fucking lfie from the SECOND they first interact johnny begins to push himself and tries to reach further/go further. and in turn johnny shows gyro you cant always be a wet blanket you need to take a stand this both helps his resolve to save the kid AND helps him to take the measures necessary to get to his goal. like gyro would not have been able to find johnny in the “who shot johnny joestar?” arc if he hadn't gone through, say, the ring roadagain arc with johnny first. listen man their relationship is literally the catalyst for this whole part it’s the driving force i just. they love each other they love each other thank you goodnight I'm emo
yasugap is just so so so so sweet it makes me so happy,,like okay josuk8 literally has a daydream where all that happens is he gives yasuho some candy and she eats it and is like “aw josuke this is so good thanks!” and she smiles at him and that’s IT THAT’S THE DAYDREAM 😭 listen they just love each other so much and i am emo. they literally SAVED EACH OTHER OKAY LIKE yasuho pulls him from the dirt and like she mentioned during the flashback chapter with the hairpin and her dad, it was also the other way around....saving josuke also saved herself and just LISTEN TO ME. THEY LOVE EACH OTHER. it’s a very sweet and healthy relationship and i hope to god araki makes it canon please sir ill bite you
anyway yeah these are the main main ones ? that i ship ship. like you'll get me excited if u mention them. anyway this post has gone on long enough so I'm gonna end it here by saying i really do have a thing where the relationship focuses on healing/helping one or both parties to save/improve themselves

anonymous asked:  Hey! Would you mind doing headcanons for the SDC boys when readers ex won't leave them alone, so reader asks if they could "pretend" to be dating "for safety" (or at least knock the ex around a little bit 😜)
Oooh BOY this is a good concept
Jotaro Kujo:
He would grunt and look at you strangely, "You're joking." You shook your head
"Quick! Put your arm around me!" you clung to his side as your ex approached
You laid it on quite thick that you and Jotaro were very much so in love
Asking him to unexpectedly kiss him would be too much so you just kept up with the PDA until they were out of sight
"Never do that again." Jotaro glared at you and walked away. He was gonna need a cigarette after this
Noriaki Kakyoin:
Kakyoin was a very good actor, so you had no doubts that things would go smoothly
Once your ex approached Kakyoin would start with the pet names
We're talkin' names like "darling" and "my little cherry"
It was so sickly sweet that the ex didn't last too long, leaving you and Kakyoin in each other's company
Thank you "my little cherry" you teased, "No problem, darling" he teased back, and the two of you had a good laugh
Muhammad Avdol:
He would honestly be so flustered that you even brought up the idea to him in the first place
"You want me to be your pretend boyfriend for the day? If it makes you happy."
He's a people-pleaser at heart, so he's sure to make sure that your ex (and everyone else) are under the assumption that he's one half of the world's greatest couple
Even after everything is said and done, he'll miss being able to hold you close
Who knows, maybe he'll get the courage to properly ask you out one day?
Joseph Joestar:
Joseph is 100% for this concept, it really makes him feel young again
He's just gotta utilize a little of that Joestar charm, and you'll be set
From the moment that you being "dating", he'll throw an arm around you and start going off about past dates and moments in your relationship that never actually happened
Like your ex will be right in front of you and Joseph will blurt out something along the lines of, "Hey baby, remember that one time when one of my detachable fingers clogged the toilet and we spent hours trying to fish it out HAHA."
You just have to laugh so loud and be like "Yeah! What a time!" *insert borderline makeout session here*
He'll ask frequently about how well he did, insisting that you "try out dating for real" sometime
Jean Pierre Polnareff:
When you add Polnareff (the king of flirtation) plus your consent (telling him to actually flirt with you), he's gonna go crazy nuts
You're getting called every pet name in the book, no questions asked
He's also never going to let you go, always wanting to be near you
Being so lovey dovey turns people off, and that was the desired outcome in all honesty
If this was what actually dating Polnareff involved, maybe you wouldn't mind?

I’m... I’m...
Body swap scenario! I absolutely love these, and thought it would be fun to try out my own. I made a short fic for each of the Crusaders, but I would love to do these for other characters, and probably will. I would also like to point out that these interactions will be completely platonic. Okay, enough explanation! Enjoy!
The Stand’s attack sent you flying back, and it wasn’t until you hit a pole that you stopped.
“Ugh...” you grunted. You looked up from the pole that you had hit, and saw your body on the ground, still unmoving. No. You didn’t just die, did you? You looked down at your hands. Nope. Still normal. But they looked familiar. Not yours, but familiar. You gasped, frantically checking the clothes, face, and top of the head of the body you were in. This wasn’t you. “I’m... I’m...” You clamped your mouth shut. That was the voice of...
“Jotaro!”
You couldn't help but notice how bulky it felt in Jotaro's body. In a good way, of course. His arms and legs were toned to perfection, and you could feel the squeeze of his abs on your stomach. Or rather, his stomach.
Your body, which you could only assume had Jotaro’s soul trapped inside it, started to gradually get up. You quickly ran towards him, and tried helping him up. Or, was it her?
“Thanks, but I can get up myself.” It was extremely disassociating hearing your voice when you weren’t speaking. It seemed like Jotaro noticed something off, too, as his eyes (your eyes?) widened and he looked up, way up, to lock eyes with you.
“You’re not dead,” you reassured him. “You’re in my body.”
“I’m in your what?” Jotaro was showing small signs of panic, something you’d never seen before, as he started turning round and round, slapping his hands on his cheeks, and grabbing his arms and legs. After a while, he looked back at you. “Good grief, (Y/N), it wouldn’t hurt for you to hit the gym every once in a while. Your limbs are like twigs.”
You could feel heat rising to your cheeks, but you didn’t know if it was from embarrassment or anger. You didn’t even know how to respond to that. “Shut up! My physique is fine as it is!” Ooh. Those words sounded much more intimidating in Jotaro’s voice.
“Okay, but if you snap your arm handshaking someone, don’t say I didn’t warn you.”
“It only feels like that to you because you’re stronger than me,” you huffed. “In fact, I can probably pick you up with ease in this new body.”
“Don’t. You. Dare.” Jotaro glared you down, but in your body, it was far less intimidating. In fact, you had to hold back laughter from how silly it looked.
“What are you gonna do? I know my body’s limits, and I know it can do nothing to yours.”
“Because I have Star Platinum by my side,” Jotaro said. However, in attempt to show his Stand off, he summoned Ace of Pentacles instead. That could only mean one thing...
“Oh, ho, ho!” You looked Star Platinum in the eyes, then looked down at Jotaro smugly. “Looks like I have the almighty Stand now!”
Both Ace and Star looked a little confused and defensive at their user's body, as if they knew it was someone else.
"Don't worry, Star," you smiled. "It's me, (Y/N). And Ace, that's just Jotaro."
Both Stands seemed to accept that answer, and lowered their defenses. You crossed your arms, and smirked. "I can even calm Star Platinum better than you," you said to Jotaro. "What does that say about you as a Stand user?"
“Can you wipe that stupid grin off your face?” Jotaro asked. “It looks good on you, but not on me. Also, we need to find who did this, and fast.”
“Yeah, I agree,” you replied. “Although it’s nice being tough and strong, it’s weird feeling something between my thighs.”
This time, it was Jotaro’s turn to clench his teeth and blush. “I’m going to kill you once I have Star Platinum again,” he murmured.
“Oh, don’t act like you can’t feel a difference in your chest.”
“Anyway,” Jotaro quickly changed the subject, “we have to find the others and explain this situation. Let’s go.”
“Fine,” you laughed. Woah. You’ve never heard Jotaro’s voice laugh like you just did. It sounded nice, actually. “I can’t wait to see what Star Platinum feels like in action.”
“It’s super cool.”
“Guess I’ll find out when we get to our enemy.” You grabbed Jotaro and hoisted him up, which made him give out a small yelp, and immediately clamp his mouth.
“Yeah,” he said. “I’m not dealing with this body forever.”
Once you got to the hotel that everyone was staying in, it took a couple of protests to convince Joseph that you were really in each other’s bodies.
“You’re kidding,” Joseph laughed. “You’ve got to be kidding!”
“Mr. Joestar, I promise you, this is serious!” you told him.
“You’re doing pretty good, Jotaro,” Joseph replied. “I can’t believe you’d call me anything other than old man.”
“That’s because I didn’t, old man!” Jotaro growled. “We’re telling the truth! We had an encounter with an enemy!”
“Mr. Joestar,” Kakyoin said, “I think they’re serious. Look at the way they stand. The look in their eyes. The subtle stuff that they wouldn’t be able to catch if they were pranking us.”
Joseph looked up and down both of them, then muttered, “You're right. They do kinda look like their bodies have swapped.”
"Well," Avdol added, "there's only one way to reverse this, you know."
"Killing the user," you sighed.
"But it's getting late," Joseph told you. "We'll deal with it tomorrow."
"No!" Jotaro protested. "I'm not going to sleep in a girl's body!"
"I'd take your place, Jotaro," Polnareff snickered. He didn't realize that you had summoned Star Platinum and sent a punch straight to his face.
"Don't you EVER say something like that again!" you yelled. "I'm lucky I swapped bodies with Jotaro and not you!"
"Anyway," Kakyoin glared at Polnareff, who was rubbing his cheek, "how does it feel in a boy's body, (Y/N)? Just out of curiosity."
"Strange," you answered. "Really strange."
"What feels different?" Polnareff asked, a smug smile spread across his face.
"I don't really know how to answer that," you laughed. "I mean, how do you describe being in a body that's not yours? Surreal?"
"Old man, please, we have to find this guy tonight! I'm not sleeping in (Y/N)'s body." Jotaro begged Joseph. "Do you realize how awkward this is for both of us?"
“My mind has been made,” Joseph said. “We’re going to wake up tomorrow feeling refreshed and ready to catch our Stand user!”
“Hey, I’m sure it won’t be that bad,” you consoled Jotaro, although you were unsure who you were trying to convince. “As long as you keep yourself fully clothed, it’ll be fine... I think.”
“Same goes for you,” Jotaro added. “I mean, I guess I don’t mind the shirt coming off, but the pants stay on.”
“That’s fair,” you said. “Well, goodnight, Jotaro.”
“Night.”
The two of you went to your hotel rooms, and when you closed the door, you sighed heavily. Being in another person’s body was exhausting. You turned to your bed, and saw Iggy, head tilted.
“Relax, Iggy, it’s me, (Y/N),” you chuckled. “Jotaro and I had an encounter with a Stand that swapped our bodies.”
You went to the bathroom to brush your teeth, which was really weird, since you were staring into the mirror at someone else’s reflection. When you were done, you jumped into your bed, which Iggy kept warm for you. Yawning, you curled up into your favorite sleeping position, and closed your eyes. The problem was, in Jotaro's body, you were far from comfortable in that position. You tried another one. Still uncomfortable. You kept trying all sorts of different positions that you hoped would work in this body, but no prevail. Eventually, you had tossed and turned so much Iggy decided it would be better to sleep on the floor. Groaning, you got up from bed, left your room, and knocked on Jotaro's door.
"What do you want?" you heard your voice from the other side.
"What sleeping position is the most comfortable for you?" you asked.
"I could ask you the same thing." Jotaro went to open the door, but didn't realize you were leaning on it. As soon as he opened it, you stumbled over and fell down right next to him.
"Hey, try to be a little more careful in my body," Jotaro said. "I don't want to come back to bruises and scars that were from something stupid like leaning on an opening door and falling over. Anyway, I usually sleep straight up, legs spread apart, arms to my sides."
After exchanging sleeping positions, you headed back to your room, where Iggy had fallen asleep on the floor. You tried the position that Jotaro told you, and noticed how comfortable it was in his body. Finally, you were able to go to sleep. Hopefully, this whole thing would be sorted out in the morning.
“Kakyoin!”
You had to be honest, even if he wasn’t as buff as the other men in the group, you could definitely feel a difference from your body and his. After all, he did carry some beef with him, and it was noticeable to you.
“Ugh, I think I hit my head too hard,” you heard your voice say. “My voice sounds all weird, and I feel really strange.”
Right. If you were in Kakyoin’s body, then Kakyoin was bound to be in your body. You kind of wanted to tell him the situation, but another part of you wanted to see him figure it out himself.
“Wait a minute,” he muttered. “This voice sounds familiar. And these hands look familiar.” He looked down at his (your) shirt, and gasped. “This is... (Y/N)’s body!” He looked up at you (him) in horror. “Tha-that’s... my... body...”
You nodded.
“And I’m... not in it...”
Again, you nodded.
“Why don’t you say something, (Y/N)?” Kakyoin shuddered. “You’re creeping me out.”
“There hasn’t been a need,” you answered.
“Fair,” he nodded. “Still! Aren’t you freaked out by this, too?” He got up and started moving his limbs back and forth. “It’s so...” he shivered in disgust. “I feel like a pervert in this body.”
“Don’t say it like that!” you exclaimed. “You’re making me imagine things that you’d do in my body I don’t want to imagine.”
“Sorry, sorry,” Kakyoin quickly apologized. “I didn’t mean it like that.”
“It’s okay,” you told him. “We should probably tell the others before we go off and try to find the Stand user ourselves.”
Kakyoin nodded in agreement, but before you headed off to the hotel, you heard him say, “Wait. Do we have each other’s Stands? Or do we keep the same Stand?”
“Well, only one way to find out,” you shrugged. Both of you summoned your Stands. Or, rather, each other’s Stands, because, sure enough, the Stands didn’t travel with you. You were able to harness Hierophant Green, and Kakyoin could wield Ace of Pentacles. And the Stands seemed to realize that whoever was in this body was not their user, but they were hesitant to do anything that would kill the intruder.
"Don't worry, Hierophant, I'm (Y/N)," you told him. "Kakyoin and I got into a little bit of trouble, and now our bodies are swapped." Luckily, Hierophant seemed to understand, and calmed down.
"Okay, now that we know the Stand situation," Kakyoin said, "let's go tell everyone else what happened." He started walking to the hotel, and you quickly followed.
"So," Jotaro leaned against the wall and crossed his arms, "my two best friends have been attacked by an enemy Stand while going to buy some things, and now they're trapped in each other's bodies."
"Sounds about right," you nodded.
"Yeah, that's what happened," Kakyoin replied.
Jotaro lowered his hat and sighed. "Good grief," he muttered. "This isn't going to end well."
"Anyway," Kakyoin said, "we should probably find this user as soon as possible. It won't be good if we're forever in each other's bodies."
"I wholeheartedly agree," Joseph answered, "but it's getting really late. How about we get a good night's sleep and wake up completely ready to take on the user?"
"No!" you both exclaimed at the same time.
"This feels weird! I don't wanna sleep in Kakyoin's body!" You squirmed just thinking about it. "No offense, Kakyoin."
"None taken, because I feel the exact same way," Kakyoin replied.
"Well, the rest of us are tired," Polnareff said, "so unless you plan on going out in the streets of Cairo alone, you better get some rest."
"Fine," both of you sighed. Before you headed off to your rooms, though, Kakyoin shared something with you.
"In case you didn't know, my most comfortable sleeping position is on my side, curled up. It would probably be the most comfortable to sleep in that position."
You told Kakyoin your usual sleeping position, too, then both of you headed off to your hotel rooms.
"Oh, and one more thing."
You turned your head. "Yeah?"
"I have PJs if you want to use those."
You thought about it for a little bit, then said, "You sure trust me a lot if you'd let me undress in your body. Unless it's not about trust..." you wiggled your eyebrows.
Well, now you knew what you looked like when you blushed. "Um, uh, no, that's not what I meant, at all, I promise," Kakyoin stuttered. "I mean, my school uniform isn't the comfiest thing to sleep in, so, heh, y'know, PJs are, are much comfier. It really is about trust, honest!"
"I know what you meant," you laughed as you went down to pat his head. Er, your head. This was so confusing. "And trust me, I'll change as quickly as possible."
Kakyoin sighed with relief. "Okay, I'll go get them from my room."
While you patiently waited for Kakyoin to come back, you started playing with his hair, pulling his long strand down, then letting go and watching it bounce back up again. It was actually pretty entertaining. At least, more entertaining than it should be.
"Okay, here's the PJs," Kakyoin tossed them up to you. "Good night, (Y/N)."
"Good night," you replied.
This time, you truly parted ways. When you got to your room, Iggy stood on all fours defensively.
"Don't worry, Iggy," you chuckled. "Kakyoin and I got into a fight with an enemy Stand, but I'm still (Y/N)."
Iggy laid back down, and yawned as he fell asleep. Quickly, you changed out of Kakyoin's uniform and slipped into his much comfier pajamas, and turned off the light, snuggling up next to Iggy. This would all be sorted out in the morning, you knew it. For now, you needed to rest. And rest you did.
“Joseph!”
You were always surprised on how fit Joseph was, especially with his old age, but this was beyond what you thought it would feel like. You expected at least a few creaky bones, but he was still in tip top shape, and you couldn’t help but flex his arms and feel his strength coursing through your veins.
“OH MY GO-“ your voice shouted, but cut off for some odd reason. You whipped your head around to see your body suddenly reanimated, spinning around in circles and darting its eyes all across the surface. “What happened? Why am I in (Y/N)’s body?”
“Mr. Joestar, please calm down!” you begged. “I don’t want people thinking I’m crazy!”
“Ah!” Joseph exclaimed. “You’re in my body, too? What’s going on?”
“Do you really think I have any more of a clue than you do?” you asked, still not used to his voice. “Look, I’m a high school girl in a grown man’s body! Do you think this is any easier for me?”
“We have to get back and tell the others about all of this!” Joseph said. “Come on, (Y/N), let’s go!”
As Joseph started running, you joined him, boosted by his incredible strength, and scooped him up along the way.
“Mr. Joestar,” Avdol said, “don’t you think a prank like this is a little too much for our current situation? And how did you get (Y/N) to agree to this?”
“Avdol, I am (Y/N),” you replied. “This isn’t a joke! I have Ace of Pentacles and everything!” You tried to summon her, but you were met with purple thorns. Uh oh. That could only mean that Joseph had Ace.
“This isn’t helping our argument,” Joseph muttered as he summoned Ace of Pentacles. “Look, we’re telling the truth, you have to believe us,” he pleaded.
“Favorite colors,” Jotaro said. “Go.”
“(Color),” you stated.
“Yellow,” Joseph answered.
“Favorite foods.”
“(Food).”
“Squid ink spaghetti.”
“My favorite food.”
You stayed silent, since you had no idea.
“Your mom’s cooking,” Joseph stated. “You used to be such a momma’s boy.”
“Yup, they’re in the wrong bodies,” Jotaro concluded. “There’s no way (Y/N) would have known that.”
“Finally!” you sighed. “I was beginning to worry you’d never believe us and we’d have to go find this guy on our own.”
“That would be pretty bad,” Kakyoin chuckled. “Neither of you have fighting Stands.”
“At least I have a fighting body,” Joseph beamed, putting his hands on his hips. “Well, I did.”
“That fighting body is mine now,” you smirked, flexing his muscles.
“Cut that out!” Joseph tried shoving you, but in your body, it did next to nothing. He tried harder. Still almost nothing. He pushed his back against you. He ran and jumped. He attacked you from above. Everything he tried was useless as you stood, as strong as a pillar, in the exact same place.
“You’re no fun,” he pouted. “You could at least act like I did something.”
You looked down at him, gave him a tiny push, and watched as he toppled over. “Nice acting, Mr. Joestar,” you chuckled.
“That hurt,” Joseph mumbled. “That hurt a lot.”
“What’s that?” You held up a hand to an ear. “I can’t hear you since you’re so much closer to the ground than I am.”
“I’ll pay you back when this is over, you know,” Joseph warned, “so I’d stop now if I were you.”
“Then why don’t you stop?” you asked him. “After all, you are me.”
“You know what I mean,” he grumbled.
“I know, I know,” you laughed. “I’ll stop.”
“Anyway, I’m getting a little tired,” Joseph yawned. “How about we hit the hay for tonight? We can go after this Stand user tomorrow when we’re refreshed.”
“Oh, you’re delusional if you think I’m spending a night in your body!” you exclaimed.
“And you’re delusional if you think I’m going after a Stand user in the middle of the night!” Joseph retorted. “No way, no how! An old man needs his sleep, you know.”
“But you’re not an old man right now, are you?” you countered. “You’re a high school girl. We stay up late. You should be raring to go, excited to explore the wonders of Egypt late at night.”
“If that were true,” Joseph said, “Then you should be exhausted and begging me to go to bed, yet here you are.”
“Good point,” you muttered. “Fine. We’ll go to bed.”
When you got to your room, Iggy was already asleep, so he couldn’t be bothered by your arrival. Thank goodness. He probably wouldn’t take too kindly to your new, hopefully temporary form. Unfortunately, you had to toss and turn so much that you ended up awakening him, anyway. And, of course, Iggy wouldn’t allow anyone but you to sleep in your bed.
“Iggy! It’s me!” you cried as you held the growling dog as far away from Joseph’s hair as possible. “It’s (Y/N)! Mr. Joestar and I got into some trouble with an enemy, and our bodies are swapped!” Iggy seemed to believe you, thankfully, and stopped attacking you.
A knock on the door made you jump, but you quickly asked, “Who is it?”
“It’s Joseph,” came your voice from the other side. “How do you sleep in this body? I can’t find a comfortable position.”
You sighed, realizing you were suffering the same problem. “I’ll tell you mine if you tell me yours,” you answered, opening the door.
“I usually sleep with my arms and legs extended off the bed, face up,” Joseph answered.
“How do you sleep like that?” you asked.
“How do you not?”
“That’s fair.”
You told Joseph your preferred sleeping position, and then he left back to go to his room. Sinking down in your bed, you realized how comfortable it was to sleep belly down in this body. You yawned, and slowly drifted off to sleep. You would swap back to your body in the morning, and that’s all you needed to know to feel at peace.
“Polnareff!”
Having your hair in a tower felt really strange, considering you’ve never had it up like that before. It felt weirder than having all of the bulk from his muscles on your skin. Although, you were less worried about how you felt, and more worried about how Polnareff would feel. He’s the one you trusted the least in your body.
The sound of not so distant screams caught your attention, and you knew Polnareff was awake.
“This is bad, this is really bad!” he panicked. “I shouldn’t be in a girl’s body!”
Well, that was a relief. He didn’t seem to be immediately overjoyed. Maybe he would be trustworthy after all.
“Look, let’s just get back to the hotel,” you suggested, “and we can figure this out with the help of everyone else.”
“That sounds good,” Polnareff answered, still a little shaken. It wasn’t until you two had been walking for a while when you heard Polnareff giggle a little.
“You know, I was a bit freaked out at first, but feeling this light and delicate is a nice change.”
“I’m not light and delicate!” you shot back. “I’m just as strong as everyone else!”
“Relax, madame,” Polnareff held up his hands in defense. “All I’m saying is that you feel light and delicate. You’re far from that.”
“Thanks,” you answered. You could feel a light blush coming up to your cheeks. “That means you won’t be touchy-feely when you’re alone if we don’t get this sorted out by nightfall, right?”
“No promises,” Polnareff smirked.
“No, there has to be a promise,” you insisted. “I won’t let you get a moment alone if there’s no promise.”
“I’m kidding,” Polnareff laughed nervously. “I’ll keep my hands, er, your hands, away from your body.”
“Good,” you finished, making sure not to break your seriousness. “Thank you.”
After a few minutes of walking, Polnareff started to get a little jumpy. “Um, I don’t know if this is okay, but I really have to use the restroom. May I? I know it might not be comfortable with you, but I’m about to-“
“Just go,” you interrupted. “We all need to.”
“Thank you,” Polnareff sighed, and ran into the men’s restroom, quickly coming out and running to the woman’s.
“What do you mean there’s no urinals?! You pee SITTING DOWN?!”
You turned beet red as you heard your voice yell out, and covered your face in your hands. That was your voice, in your body, shouting those very words.
“I’m going to kill you,” you hissed when Polnareff left the restroom.
“You can’t kill me, you only have Ace of Pentacles,” Polnareff gloated. However, once he summoned Ace, he was taken aback. “Uh oh.”
“You’re lucky I don’t want to kill my body, or I’d have Silver Chariot slice you to bits right now,” you growled, summoning Polnareff’s Stand. “Girls pee sitting down. That’s why there’s no urinals. Don’t ever, EVER, say those words in that order again, especially to other women who don’t know the situation we’re in right now. Got it?” You had the tone of a mother who quietly scolded her child in public, the angry whisper when she can’t cause a scene.
“Yup, I got it,” Polnareff nodded quickly and quietly.
Once you got to the hotel, you and Polnareff explained, as best as you could, what happened to the two of you.
“So, you’re (Y/N), and you’re Polnareff?” Kakyoin pointed to the opposite bodies as he said your names, which were, at the time, the correct bodies. This was confusing. You both nodded, and Kakyoin sighed. “This is bound to make at least one of you mad.”
“Already happened,” Polnareff replied sheepishly.
“Anyway,” you interrupted, “we need to find the user, or else we’ll be stuck in these bodies forever.”
“Not tonight,” was Joseph’s answer. “We aren’t going tonight. I doubt he’ll get too far before the sun rises.”
“What?” you exclaimed. “No! I don’t trust Polnareff for a whole night!”
“Sleep in the same room I don’t care,” Joseph answered, “but I’m getting my rest, no matter what.”
“Look, I promise,” Polnareff told you. “I absolutely, positively promise nothing will happen to this body while I’m in it.”
“Doesn’t matter, you’re sleeping in my room tonight,” you replied. However, after some consideration, you remembered that Iggy was in your room, and that he loathed Polnareff more than anyone else. He would most likely rip all of your hair out before you could tell him that you were (Y/N). “Actually, your room. Your room tonight.”
“You’re sleeping on the floor, then, got it?” Polnareff asked. “My room, my rules.”
“It’s better than getting attacked by Iggy,” you sighed.
“You’re going to make a woman sleep on the floor?” Joseph asked. “What kind of man does that?”
“But I’m the woman now,” Polnareff countered. “Therefore, I get the bed.”
“Well, I’d rather wake up with back problems instead of going the rest of the day with back problems, so the bed’s all yours.”
“Huh,” Kakyoin said. “That was fast. I would at least expect (Y/N) to insist that Polnareff get her mattress from her room, since he’s in the body that Iggy hates the least.”
“That’s a good idea,” you complimented. “Polnareff, if you could be so kind and-“
“Already ahead of you,” he answered, leaving his room.
“I wonder how long it’ll take Iggy to realize that the person in your body is, in fact, not you,” Kakyoin chuckled.
“My bet is thirty seconds.”
“I’ll bet less than thirty.”
“Iggy! Iggy, stop! No!”
You heard a loud thud and barks from the tiny dog.
“Looks like I was right,” Kakyoin smirked.
“I’ll go calm Iggy down,” you laughed, and walked to your room. Hopefully Iggy connected the dots before you were attacked, as well. You entered the room, and he reared up and charged towards you.
“Iggy, wait!” you exclaimed, but it was too late. Iggy had pulled out a good amount of your hair, and you could smell an awful stench.
“Iggy,” you sighed, “it’s (Y/N). Polnareff and I swapped bodies.”
“I probably shouldn’t have called that dog a dumb mutt,” Polnareff muttered. “I think that’s what gave it away to him.”
“You think?” you groaned. “Come on, let’s get this mattress to your room.”
After some hard work (mostly put in by you), the mattress was successfully in Polnareff’s room, and you immediately curled up, and Polnareff landed face down on his bed. After a while, both of you were tossing and turning. Something about the way you two were sleeping did not settle well with the bodies you were in.
“Are you really going to sleep that way in that body?” Polnareff snorted. “(Y/N), that body is made to sleep face down. No other position is comfortable.”
“Maybe that’s why you can’t sleep in my body, either,” you suggested. “You’re sleeping in it wrong.”
“Perhaps that is what’s wrong,” Polnareff said to himself. He changed positions to how you were sleeping, and sighed happily. “My, my, this is so much more comfy!”
“Same here,” you replied. “Well, I’m going to go to sleep now. Goodnight, Polnareff.”
“Night.”
“Avdol!”
Woah. How many layers of clothing did this guy have? All of his coats and everything weighed you down much more than your clothing. However, all of that weight paid off for Avdol, because his arms were stronger than you could even imagine yours being.
“So, you’re awake, as well.”
You turned your head, and saw your body, fully reanimated. You concluded that the one speaking must have been Avdol.
“It seems that Stand has the ability to swap bodies,” he muttered, “and we happened to be the two he came into contact with.”
“Great,” you mumbled. “How do we reverse it?”
“Killing the user seems to be the only solution,” Avdol sighed. “Of course, he ran away as soon as his Stand landed an attack on us, so it’ll take a while for us to find him. But when we do, I’m prepared to use Magician’s Red, no matter what.” He summoned his Stand, but soon realized that it wasn’t who he thought it would be. Instead of summoning the fiery bird, he summoned Ace of Pentacles.
“Nice,” you said as you summoned Avdol’s former sidekick. “So I get to use him when the time comes.”
“I guess so,” Avdol chuckled. “Just remember, use those flames responsibly. We don’t want a bystander to get hurt.”
“I understand,” you nodded. “Plus, we should probably update the others on our situation before we go and fight this guy alone. For all we know, we could be swapped into a bystander’s body before we have the chance to fight him.”
“Good thinking,” Avdol replied. “Then it’s settled. We’ll go tell the others about this, first.”
When you got back to the hotel, Jotaro was already standing outside the doorway, leaning on the brick wall.
“There’s something different about you two,” he eyed you and Avdol suspiciously. “What did the enemy Stand do to you this time?”
“Swapped our bodies,” Avdol answered.
“So it was Avdol who answered me, then?” Jotaro asked. You both nodded.
“Ah, Avdol and (Y/N) are back,” Polnareff said as he emerged from the hotel’s entrance. “What supplies did you get?”
“Actually, we didn’t have time to get supplies,” you admitted. “We were attacked by an enemy.”
“Well, you got out fine,” Polnareff replied accusingly, “so why didn’t you get supplies after the attack?”
“Because we didn’t get out fine,” Avdol answered. “We’re in the wrong bodies.”
Polnareff playful grin suddenly vanished. “Oh,” he muttered.
“Anyway, we came here because it would be easier to take on this enemy with all five of us attacking,” you explained. “Where’s Mr. Joestar?”
“He already fell asleep,” Polnareff answered. “It is getting late, after all.”
“Then we’ll go without him.”
“No, that doesn’t seem like a good idea,” Avdol told you. “I mean, think about it. Leaving a member of our team alone while he’s out like a light? That could easily put him in danger. Plus, it would be bad if we all felt tired while trying to fight against someone else. We should sleep.”
“Fine,” you groaned. “Let’s go to bed.”
When you got to your bedroom, Iggy didn’t do much but give you a slight head tilt.
“It’s me, Iggy,” you consoled the worried dog. “It’s (Y/N). Avdol and I got put in the wrong bodies from an enemy.”
Iggy laid back down, accepting the answer. As you brushed your teeth, you kept staring at the reflection that wasn’t yours. It was strange to be in another body. As you laid in your bed, you noticed how comfortable it was. Even in different sleeping positions, you felt like you could sleep for hours. Avdol’s body was a blessing right now, since you probably couldn’t have possibly fallen asleep in any other body from the gravity of this situation. However, right as you were about to be out for the night, you heard a knock on your door. “Who is it?”
“Avdol,” your voice said from the other side. “Pardon my interruption, but I could really use some sleep, and for that, I need your sleeping position.”
You opened the door, and looked down to meet eyes with Avdol. After you told him your usual sleeping position, he nodded, and went back to his hotel room. Now, you went back to your bed, and almost instantly fell asleep. Tomorrow, everything would be solved. Now, you needed to rest up for the day ahead.

I saw request are open! Could I request pt 3 Jotaro x reader where, instead of pol and joot facing Alessi, Jotaro and reader end up running into Mariah and become stuck together~~
hmmm, should i make this nsfw? yeah i should, lol, also i’m gonna have reader/jotaro in a pre-established relationship.
in which grinding is a lot more effort than you all thought
rated: nsfw/18+
This all started when you touched that god damn power outlet.
It shocked you, sending you flying at least five feet back. Jotaro then took notice, made sure you were okay, and then proceeded to do the same thing. That was a big fucking mistake. For both of you.
Now, you were both magnetized to each other. Jotaro was pressed to your front, your face practically squished in his chest. To say that this was the closest you’ve been to the man, well, it would be a lie. But that didn’t help anything, now did it?
It also didn’t help that the other Crusaders were freaking out about it. Especially Mr. Joestar.
“We need to find a way to separate the two of you immediately!”  He practically shouted, his face was just as red as yours. You understood how he felt, but there wasn’t much you could do about it right now.
“Polnareff, grab one and pull. I’ll take the other.” Joseph ordered, and the French man did as he was told. He grabbed your sides, despite Jotaro’s scowl, and motioned for the other man.
Joseph gripped Jotaro’s shoulders, and nodded. “On the count of three.”
“One. Two. Three!”
They both pulled you apart by a few feet, and you honestly felt the slightest bit of relief. Maybe you just needed to stay a certain distance away to keep the magnetization at bay.
You were wrong.
Within seconds, your body collided with your boyfriend’s, successfully attaching you to him again. But this time, Jotaro’s front was pressed against your backside. This was bad.
Very bad.
Joseph almost screamed. You could tell by the way his face got red, and the inhale of breath. Jotaro stopped him.
“Old man. You need to find out who the Stand user is, and then defeat them. We can’t fight in this state.” His eyes were hidden behind the shadow of his hat, so you couldn’t tell what emotion he was feeling.
Mr. Joestar grumbled, but eventually agreed.
“We’re going to go back to the hotel to stay out of the public eye. I’m going to trust that you’ll take care of this.” He stated, sending his Grandpa, as well as Polnareff and Avdol and stern glare.
They all nodded quickly, deciding that they should probably get a move on. As soon as they left, Jotaro looked down at you.
“Do you think you can turn back around?” He asked, his hands going down to hold your sides. “Uh, I think. Give me a sec.”
It probably took a lot longer than it should have, but you managed to turn around, your face pressed into Jotaro’s chest once more. “Alright, I’m going to carry you back to the hotel. It won’t be as suspicious that way.”
You nodded, before being practically dragged up your boyfriend’s body. Your face was now pressed into his neck, with one hand on your back. “Hook your legs around me.”
Doing as your told, you looped your legs around Jotaro’s hips. Finally getting into position, he sighed, before walking in the direction of the hotel. It didn’t take long, considering that your breath was hot on Jotaro’s ear, and it was causing some unnecessary problems to arise.
Quickly entering the building, he made a beeline to the room you both shared. It startled you, how much he had picked up the pace. Feeling a little worried, you tried to ask him about it.
“Jotaro?” You whispered, almost directly into his ear.
He stopped in the middle of the hallway, a shiver running down his back. You then felt the sweat that had developed along his brow.
Oh.
Oh.
Well this was going to be interesting.
After getting into your hotel room, Jotaro all but slammed the door, and pushing you up against the wall. “How did we get ourselves into this?” He asked, his hands now roaming your sides, sliding up your shirt.
Shuddering at his advances, you gasped. “I-I don’t know. I’m not complaining.” He chuckled at that, before his hands tried to unbutton your shorts. Jotaro tried several times, to no avail. They weren’t coming off until the both of you were separated.
That led to one thing.
Jotaro had pushed you down to the bed, his lips on yours in a hot kiss. His hips were grinding against yours in an erratic rhythm. You met each movement of his with your own, trying to gain more friction.
It was undeniably hot, your hands clenching hard on Jotaro’s jacket, trying your hardest to keep your lips sealed together as orgasm was approaching you. But Jotaro pulled back slightly, your lips only a hair apart.
“G-Gonna cum.”
“Fuck, m-me too.”
Within seconds, the pleasure became too much, sending you over the edge. Jotaro followed shortly, and you felt wetness spread across the front of his pants. You both just laid there, exhausted, reminded of how much work it took to get off from grinding alone.
You soon pressed a kiss to your boyfriend’s cheek, smiling at him. “I didn’t know your ears were that sensitive, babe.” He glared at you in response, before getting up from on top of you.
As soon as he did, you both just stared at each other.
“How long have we been separated?” You asked.
There was a knock at the door. Polnareff’s voice rang through the wood.
“About 30 minutes!”
