A CRESCENT LOVE, AN EPHEMERAL PASSION | joão félix sequeira.
summary: you and joão spent all the summer together. you even met his friends and brother. could this be the beginning of a crescent love or just an ephemeral passion? his friendship with his ex would ruin everything between the two of you?
author's notes: after the win against luxemburgo, where portugal national team set the record of goals, his ex just posted "mysterious" pics with floki, his dog. joão was also there, almost hidden, actually. we all know she always does it, never assuming anything maturely, but instigating the frustration of the fans who care about him and to make every gossip website and tv show talk about it, just like a teenager who wants attention would act. basically, this inspired me. i really don't hate anyone, by the way. even thought influencers who don't spread any impactful content and nepobabies with no talent and only standard beauty annoys me, i can't lie.
warnings: bad language (of course it's joão saying the words), chaotically humorous almost all the time, but also involving sadness and angst. implicit sex reference, i guess? maybe?
Tumblr media
what do you feel when you hear my name? shame? embarrassment?
does your brain even bring you any sign or memory involving me?
do you ever think about me?
are your moments with her comparable to ours?
can we talk? can we communicate?
is it my fault? do you miss me?
your head was drunk for the whirlwinds of questions that piled up and get bigger, like waves. they seemed to be drowning you. the glowing light and peace of your woody brown gaze gives you triggers. his smile remains embedded, in your heart, an eternal home. the numbness and wrapping of his lips, every inch of his tanned skin and firm muscles being appreciated and admired by you. his hair was shiny, soft and full by the salty waters of the european beaches: always caressed for you. his laughs at you giving him the most silly and lazy hairstyles, with you pretending to be a professional who was filming your customer to tiktok.
“do that pose! yes, your hand against your face! now, give me that playboy eye. just like that! you’re doing amazing, sweetie!”
when you get carried away in the game ‘who am i?’ and tried so hard doing the mimes, jumping excitedly and demonstrating your animation in a loud tone, before covering your own mouth and feigning naturalness, just to repeat the same instant acts.
when you made joão watch your random dances as soon as you won at uno and he’d tell how hilarious you were. when you cooked your regional foods and desserts for félix, his brother who’s hugo, alex — the photographer — diogo from the movemind channel and all of his friends. when he used to hold your face, rest his touch on your waist and thighs. tracing his fingerprints across your scalp, reveling in the ethereal smell of your hair, laying his lips against your entire face and stature, exalting you completely: from your ears, neck, collarbone, belly, legs and even your feet. being a gentleman, joão opened the car door for you, he intertwined the hands of you both in every single opportunity and helped you eat: having the cutlery for you to open your mouth and giving you support with the napkin. when you did his goal celebration. when the two of you invented a handshake, along with various inside jokes. for example, when joão posted many videos of him swimming and playing in the ocean.
“hey, flounder! ‘the little mermaid’? i loved it!”
“why am i not your ariel, tho?”
“why you didn’t say you’d prefer to be eric of the real life?”
“give me some respect, i’m the protagonist of this shit!”
“slay, king!”
you remember singing the songs that played in his car in the most chaotic way, using his hand as a microphone and taking the opportunity to kiss all over it and his fancy bracelets. you offered him affection biting his skin and enjoyed acting like his personal masseuse. you called him ‘my prince of portugal’.
“please, don’t become a stranger.” your last words, face to face. the intensity of the summer weeks of vacation, which were already ending, consuming you.
“you know i’d never do that. look, you’re such a unique person, and even though we’re gonna go back to our busy routines, i still wanna keep you in my life. i still wanna be that close to you.” joão declared and they both found comfort in each other’s arms. his perfume granted the beg leave and penetrated your lungs, giving you life. you felt like you shouldn’t let it go, but there was nothing else to accomplish. you were single, so was he. you ask yourself if everything would be different. maybe if you had tried your lips once again: asking him to give a chance to them, to have more. to not leave what you went through, together, in the box of forgotten memories. would that really suffice, though?
"it's obvious that you’d choose the blonde influencer with light eyes, slender body and member of a rich family. the one who was with a formula 1 racer days before she went to meet you. before you just disappear from my life, without saying anything. the one that doesn't show an ounce of authenticity and, of course, affective responsibility. who am i in comparison to her?! right, joão?" your voice flashed the disparity of fragility and indignation, trembling hands clutching the phone.
“y/n, listen to me. you’d never understand it, okay? you’re not inside this relationship, me and her are. you’re seeing it from the outside, just like everyone else. yeah, she was hanging out and making out with other people. so was i with you. but then, some things changed.” john seemed to be busy. echoes of other people's voices ran through the call.
“nothing has happened between us since the vacation, joão. what doesn’t make sense because i thought you were liking me. i only think about you!” you vented out and received silence. his answers tried to become existent and complete. he stammered, the audible sound of his familiar backwards cap being pulled off and his honey-colored hair being rubbed against his own fingerprints.
“do you think i don’t like you? holy shit, y/n. i even thought we could have so much more. a future together and everything. i think about you and i swear in the name of my family, and i already said that they mean the fucking world to me. the thing is: there’s something that still keep me going back to her. i don’t know if it’s because i’m with her since i was younger, but…”
“joão, this is emotional dependence. i’m sorry to tell you this, however, it’s necessary. i care about you. you’re so internally and externally beautiful, precious, successful and talented. you deserve better!” you interrupted him, stepping back and forth.
“y/n, i love her. when i looked at you…”
“she’s all that you see, right?”
“hm… yeah…” félix found himself in a bind. paralyzed, he remained without an answer for a while. the coldness of the material of his gold necklace touches his tongue: a way to combat the nervousness that generates the gnawed nails.
“my toxic behavior wants to help and fix you so badly, but i know i can’t get more involved than that. i’m not the one for you.” the words reproduced by yourself reinforced the fragmentation of your heart.
“j, baby… are you coming or not? i’m waiting for you, floki is waiting for his dad!” you heard that female voice call to him and realized the way that just this factor made his breathing destabilize.
“i think this is officially the end of whatever we had, joão. goodbye!” your voice was unstable and he realized it: sharp as deep, transparent and suffocating waters.
“i wish you the best, y/n. i apologize for not being what you expected, what you needed, and…”
“caralho, joão! que merda! (holy fuck, joão! what the hell?). come on, give me your phone!” the girl began to rant. her heels against the floor were exclamatory. she was running out of patience.
the call is over. again, you were superimposed on the ocean of blazing tears. you tried to convince yourself that everything went the way it was supposed to be.
but was it for real?

Hands to Hold
YAHOO, gonna try to knock out these asks !! So sorry for not writing yesterday, I got caught up in stuff!!
I may also open doodle requests! Been a while since ive drawn and u gotta get my brain juices flowing (if I open them they'll have their own post!)
Also breaking my usual format for this ask, the standard bullet points didnt feel like they fit; not quite fanfic style but like. Pseudo
Kinda got. Whacky with it and carried away
Without further ado
Not proof read we die like uncle aaron
Tumblr media
If Spot had anything about his body that he still liked, it would be his hands
Long, spindly, large...
Good for all the tinkering he does with machines, great for precision
Great tools for throwing punches.. though their owner can't fight to save his own life
But best for holding their lovers
Spots hands were your favorite for similar reasons
You loved all of him, of course, but there was something about how his hands worked away at his latest little invention; one that was sure to fail him in his next attempt at crime. Or how his fingers flex when he's gripping a pen, deep in thought as he pondered his next move in a word puzzle. You loved them most when he intertwined his fingers in yours.
Some nights, long after your boyfriend has fallen asleep; you'd lace your hand into his, and his fingers would twitch and curl around yours.
On other days, you'd grasp his wrists and put his palms flat against your face. A smile would creep through when he began to rub his thumbs against your cheeks; though on some days he'd receive an amused huff after he decided to squish those same cheeks.
Everyday you would hold his hands, counting on each finger every reason you love him.
One for how endearing he is, as goofy as he is.
Two for his intelligence, as a scientist.
Three for his ramblings, for his interests.
Four for his passion, in his work.
Five for his humor, although accidental.
Six for persistence, to keep going.
Seven for his kindness, reserved for you.
Eight for thoughtfulness, for the gifts he showers you with.
Nine for his protectiveness, for always wanting you safe and near.
Ten for the shared and simple love you share for one another; one that grew every day.
You never said these things outloud, merely sitting in silence as you held his hands; while he watched in silence.
The inevitable will happen, you know this. Spot still wants to be seen by spiderman, to be his nemesis. Protest was futile, but at least for now, you could hold his hand for just a little while longer.
Perhaps your favorite part of him

My thoughts on Flight of Icarus (so far!)
I finally got my hands on the book yesterday and also had time to read which hasn’t happened in a very hot minute.
These are just my first impressions, commentary, and takeaways from chapters 1-9.
More will come, but I am realizing that I have so much to say that I need to break it up ✨
I will start off by saying that I was skeptical, as all of us were, when this book was announced. Prior to reading it, I had been steering clear of spoilers and others’ reactions just so that I could go in completely unbiased and with an open mind and heart.
Within the first 10 pages, I was crying. Like, openly weeping. Something about Eddie talking first person about his childhood experiences and confirming what so many of us suspected hit me so suddenly. I was not prepared for the swell of emotions that bubbled over as a result of not only that, but reading his name printed on a real, hard bound book when I've only ever read it from a screen was something else as well. Something about it being officially licensed by ST and providing us with some concrete backstory (if we choose to take it) for so many things that we've been only speculating on for the last year and a half.
These are a few snippets that really had me going:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyway, I'm broken.
Onto the writing --
I genuinely think what I've read so far has been incredibly well-written. The first person narration sounds so much like Eddie, as does the dialogue. The insights and ways he describes things cleverly but also with that touch of dark humor that he deflects with so often is very present. I do feel like I'm stepping into his curly noggin and viewing the world through his bambi eyes. It's such a treat.
Also, I have noticed her using many words that he frequently uses in his limited dialogue on the show in her narration, the main one I can think of right now being "not exactly". It's touches like these that let me know how closely she's paying attention.
I am also impressed with the general quality of prose, how she seamlessly integrates setting and character description into the scene. Also clever and creative ways to describe objects that still stay very in character. This one stands out:
Tumblr media
Also this. This hyper-awareness that his home life is different than his peers, something I try to illustrate in my own writing and appreciate that this author did as well:
Tumblr media
As a writer, I learn so much from reading. I can honestly say that I am learning from this experience as well, and dare I say it, am inspired.
The chapter I am working on now for DSSCTM deals heavily with similar themes and questions that FOI covers, such as Eddie's motivations for staying in school, his relationship to his dad, and how he views himself. So I feel a lucky sense of coincidence that this book was released during the time I am writing it. I, like everyone else, invented my own backstory for his parents that suited the story I was trying to tell and will keep it for consistency going forward.
Characters that stuck out to me --
Gareth -- OH. MY GOD. BABY GARETH. Little fluffy ball of rage. I cannot. My heart is going to explode fr. Also the tenderness with which Eddie handles him is just too much for me.
Ronnie -- Stan her. You know, this character really makes me wonder how much of our fics the author has read because I feel like it is one of the most common and earliest tropes for our Reader characters to be best friends of his that grew up in the trailer park along side him. Maybe it's just an obvious trope? But interesting she included it. Also making her the book-smart one who's got a golden ticket out is another very common thing I see in our stories.
Chrissy -- I love the bit of backstory I've read so far and how sympathetic she writes her. I love that we get the whole scene of them before the talent show and them bonding for a short moment.
Al -- There aren't enough words for how big a piece of shit this man is. When he said this to Wayne I almost yeeted my book across the room. Nobody talks to Wayne Munson like this in my house. 😤
Tumblr media
Paige -- Eh. Not sold tbh. Although I do appreciate reading through Eddie's first person narration about him having a crush on someone though. It's cute. Just the crush part, not Paige specifically. She's mid so far.
Principal Higgins -- I had to suspend my disbelief a bit for how strong he came on tbh. I mean, I think she made a somewhat believable case for his absolutely unhinged behavior but it still struck me as borderline unbelievable how Higgins spoke to Eddie like that. What it did confirm for me was something I had suspected from the beginning, which is that Eddie's dad never graduated high school. Also, I appreciate the question being asked about why he is still in school BUT my issue is that this question isn't as applicable in his first senior year as it is in his third. I think the author was trying to find a reason for Higgins to be asking it and had to dig a little to try and make it believable. It's a question I have asked myself, one that I had Teach ask him in the first chapter of DSSCTM, and one I will be exploring in ch. 16.
One final theme-related thing I noticed and appreciate:
How chapter 4 ends with his dad telling him to sleep on the idea of pulling off a heist with him and chapter 5 begins with "The question is pretty simple. At the end of the day, who do you want to be?" and proceeds to a scene of him building a character with Gareth. Likewise in real life, Eddie is figuring out who he wants to be, and I think using this as a metaphor is really clever and beautiful.
ALSO. A theory. Illian died right? Illian wasn't Gareth's he was Jeff's. What if this is alluding to the possibility of another character we all know and love who supposedly died in canon to be able to come back and re-invent themselves? 👀
Could just be my delusional ass reading into this way too much but it was just a thought I had.
Anyway, onward. ✨

Robot and Monster Appreciation Post because I said so...
For an upcoming project that I'm working on, I *had* to rewatch Robot and Monster, and I have too many feelings in my heart and too many thoughts in my head to function, so this is a bigass love letter to one of the most underrated Nicktoons shows.
[TL;DR: the show is funny, give it a chance.] Before I get into the meat of it all, I want to say that the show features a lot of physical humor (characters being crushed and blown up etc etc) as well as dry humor and japes. I like both nuance and point-and-laugh humor so this was made for me (or I was made for it), though I do want to warn you, the first 5/7 episodes are very corny, just like any other beginning to a cartoon. I do ask that you give the show a chance despite those moments, the lore doesn't get too deep until later in the series so it's all pretty straightforward if you don't pay close attention to the beginning episodes.
Anyway, I wanna talk about the characters now 'cause I love 'em to death.
💜MONSTER:
-Monster is my favorite because. The best.
-Whether explicitly stated or not, Monster is a himbo. Sweet towards others-literally everybody loves this big lug,-buddy gets hugs by complete strangers and so much love and and more hugs; though not too much, Monster is shown to be fairly strong and physically inclined; and we know Monster ain't that smart.... but that does lead me to my next part, and a personal headcannon that I feel very strongly about.
-OH MY GOODNES OKAY so we know that Monster's character is meant to be the dumb sweet dude that completely contrasts Robot and provided character balance and all that, but I swear man, the guy is just leading everyone on with that idea. So, when Robot messes up on an invention (which happens often,) Monster will try to say something supportive that ends up being a blunder that insults Robot, and we just chalk that up to it being nothing more than a blunder. I BELIEVE WITH MY WHOLE HEART that Monster is actually very cunning and witty and will get occasionally angry at Robot that this dude will actually use the misconception of his intelligence to strike Robot right in the heart. Monster is just too good at bullishitting that nobody can tell the insult was meant to happen. Good lord ❤‍🔥
-Gardener. Understands that love helps grow plants. Too good for this world.
-Has a security blanket from childhood. You're telling me this grown-ass adult STILL has the heart and understanding of sentimental value to hold onto a comfort item regardless of societal pressure to suck it up and forgo childlike tendencies? A whole character.
🧡Robot
-Robot strives to be a great inventor, wants the fame and all that, but I'll be honest with you, only Monster sees the best in Robot's abilities, and there is nothing more relatable than a character who has the entire universe against them.
-If there was ever one thing that bothered me about the inventing, it was the fact that this dude was making MACHINES. Would this classify as regular handcrafting that we humans do, or is Robot actually creating children? If Monster could bring the organic bacon tree to life, you cannot tell me that Robot Default was not creating fetuses of the mechanical variety. And this is where I burden you with a headcannon: I think that this is based on Robot's own upbringing: Robot wants to put all of the attention and love into the little machines and projects because this guy won't let his ruined and near-loveless childhood get in the way of a healthy and happy future generation. Wants to heal the inner child while making sure the newest generation gets all the love and support they need. Anyways great character 🙏
-Sorry, the inventing this has me hooked to an unreasonable degree... does this mean Robot has a huge understanding in mechanical biology, or does Robot just understand how things are made? Look, this show was built on the bases of wanting to incorporate all the fun ideas that come to mind without giving any rhyme and reason, and I truly think that this is beneficial to the imaginations and mental stimulation of young'uns. But regardless, if that's the case, Robot would probably be regarded as a medicinal herbalist in our society (or maybe a chiropractor.)
-Arch-rivals with another scientist named Lucy, and this dude cannot catch a break on civilians that hate him. However, these meetings show us the depths of Robot's morality, and in the end (though pushed to do the right thing by Monster,) the well-being of another person is always chosen. Lawful-evil critter :D
-Already established that the Defaults are horrible to the baby of the family, but guess who Robot works for? That's right, Robot and Monster work for the Default Family Business, and I am near POSITIVE that they only receive minimum wage.
-Robot takes a lot of damage, and I assume if the heart is still beating in his chest, then everything is A-okay. Love a character that can take fall damage like a bug 💕
-Oh yeah, and despite the ego and sarcasm, Robot could have ended up being a snob and stuck-up just like the rest of the fam, but tries not to be. Robot keeps it real 99%, and I can respect that.
-One last thing that probably goes against all the good things I just talked about, I'm pretty sure that when Robot couldn't seem to make Monster feel happy again, he was literally going to kill a dude. Robot was going to make Perry disappear so Monster could be happy again. I shouldn't be this happy about the situation, but Robot's a true homie omg.
🤍Ogo
-Mentioning this Mofo at all will either be the catalyst to get you to watch the show, or deter you from it. Regardless, I am giving you the straight up facts, and if you think you won't like this kind of character, then I promise you won't. However, if you appreciate a little spice in a cartoon, then Ogo's got PLENTY to offer.
-Mega ultra horrible creep. Neighbor that knows everything about Robot and Monster. Slimy. You could consider him a yandere. Had the show been more popular, probably would be the fan favorite. Has that creeplord rizz.
-The first ever gaslight gatekeep girlboss. This SOB is manipulative. Will keep the darkest of secrets. But radiates the purest of girlboss energy. I can't explain it. It's just Ogo.
-Apparently accidentally leaves stains on their stuff, you know, when Ogo is breaking and entering into their home. What kind of stains is never mentioned, but even Ogo thinks it's gross.
-Has a dream journal filled with trips and delusions. I actually ache to be able to read what this dementoid's head can create.
-Speaking of delusions, this girlboss also invented the word delulu. Again, can't explain how.
-Knows how many bumps are on Robot and Monster's tongues. This show molded me into what I am today, send help and watch the show.
🩷❤JD + Spitfire
-Look, this show made 2 great, badass female characters. That's all. But, I was debating on whether to make their own separate lines, but you can't separate these two... I mean they tried to in an episode so you understand why I can't do it now. They are a team.
-Biker girlies. They beat up gangs and keep the streets safe at night. Fight dudes bigger than them and win. Wonderful.
-I love that they were able to make JD have everything going for her, but also have flaws as well. I mean, she's extremely strong, she's very pretty, she's got a sweet personality, and she's academically gifted. However, she's also a slob and doesn't really read people's emotions all that well. I don't know, I just feel like that's a great character.
-Spitfire is the complete foil to JD (and vice-versa, of course.) Spitfire is grounded and down-to-earth, cynical towards life and people, organized and calculating, and uncaring about the norm and societal standards. Seriously, sarcastic and badass. That's a great character.
-Despite their differences, they still have the same level of calmness. They work together so well from a fundamental standpoint. Dynamics similar to Robot and Monster, just... different vibe.
-JD has a very feminine air about her, and Spitfire has a very butch air about her. They very much level each other out.
🤖👾Final note💕🌚
-I would not be surprised if they have explored each other's bodies/hj. Very nonchalant as well.
-No lie, I don't know how to describe Robot and Monster's dynamic. "-And they were roommates." If you watch the Christmas episode, it seems like they were trying to make a nicktoon-friendly family splitting up a non-hetero situationship [which, hey, they find happiness with each other, wouldn't be surprised.]
-The show is weird, funny, sweet, comforting, the best. It is what it is, and for better or for worse, it will always hold a special place in the core of my soul.

my own personal opinion on the rottmnt turtles in hogwarts houses:
Miguel: Ravenclaw. Mikey is SUPER creative, it's kind of his thing. Ravenclaws also value wit, and all of Mikey's jokes are well-timed, he's got a mental sharpness and has an inventive way to make a joke. He's also really smart - the episode with the mystic metal? he says to raph "we're not saying you never have good ideas, we're just saying that sometimes we do to!" he's got street smarts and creative smarts, and strategic smarts. (he could really be any house, i think
Ravenclaw would be the best fit tho) he's the ravenclaw who you think doesn't belong there, but once you get to know the house you'd never be able to imagine him anywhere else.
Big Red: Hufflepuff! Raph is like ... the definition of Hufflepuff. Loyalty, patience, trust, strong sense of justice, hard-working. Literally Raph. I think he could be in Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, but Hufflepuff would suit him best (in my opinion.) Plus, he's always trying to better the team by doing team building exercises (at least i think he does that often, seems like something he'd do) and teamwork is a big part of the hufflepuff house. he's the stereotype of the house - looks open and friendly, who's hugs are warm and safe.
Von Ryan: Slytherin. Before anyone yells, I'm both a donnie kinnie and a slytherin. Donnie belongs here lmao. The way he always tries to improve himself and is extremely goal-oriented. Slytherins value resourcefulness, and Donnie has had to learn to be resourceful when living in the sewers. He gets all of his stuff from a junkyard. Plus, dry humor? perfectionist? big on cost/benefit analysis? donnie fr. he seems like the stereotypical slytherin, the one who's quiet and everyone thinks is evil. (he'd also excel at potions.)
Leon: Tbh, he's pretty hard. I think he could either be gryffindor or slytherin, but also ravenclaw and fit almost perfectly in those houses, but I think he belongs in slytherin. im also a leo kinnie (heh) and honestly? Sarcastic humor, confident (or pretends to be,) competitive and charismatic? literally both signs of gryffindor and slytherin? it's so hard but he has a practical eye and the ability to quickly adapt when needed. he also has a lot of common sense, instead of taking on things he knows he can't do he results in something achievable (paper theives) and he's incredibly persuasive, a trait valued by slytherins. he seems like the slytherin who thinks they're better than everyone else, and once you get to know them you realize they actually are.
April: Hard one! She's so spunky and full pf personality (i love her so much) but i think she belongs in gryffindor. The first episode alone shows me that. Gryffindor traits are bravery, honor, loyalty, boldness and have strong moral centers. I think this is mostly shown in her interactions with the boys. (which is like the only interactions she has ok i know) She's willing to dive head-first into a conflict if it meant she could help her family somehow. There's no doubt that she would go to the ends of the earth for them, and if you think she'd turn her back her boys, you're crazy.
Cassandra: Gryffindor. Don't argue. When reading her wiki (it describes the characters way more in depth than i could) it talks about how much she values being loyal to the foot clan and how energetic/enthusiastic she is. She's courageous and stands up for what she believes is right, just like a gryffindor. She's always wanting to better herself and is quite stubborn.
Casey Jr: I know what house he's in, but i almost didn't want to sort him because it meant someone would be alone...he's a hufflepuff, through and through (i feel bad for leaving mikey alone, but he'll make friends soon enough.) Casey is hard-working and loyal, as we can see in the movie - taking on the mission leo told him to, and not once complaining, just worried about how he could complete it. He has honest the whole way through, not sugar coating anything to beating around the bush. and unafraid of being direct. He's also very polite and kind (i love him guys) and listens to other's input and ideas.

Jen Tortures Herself With Every Dreamworks Animated Movie Ever: Shrek 2
Tumblr media
So I haven't seen this movie in years and having just rewatched it, I can safely say, this movie invented comedy. Hands down.
Seriously though, what can be said about Shrek 2 that hasn't already been said? It's iconic, in every sense of the word, maybe even more of a meme factory than the original Shrek was. And yet even aside from being one of the funniest animated movies ever made (more on that in a bit), it's also just a really good and compelling story that hits all the right spots and really continues building on this world and these characters in an excellent way.
We kick off right after the first movie, with Shrek and Fiona freshly married and heading to Far Far Away to meet Fiona's parents. Throw in some family tension, the deviously delighful (milf) that is Fairy Godmother and her little bitch boy of a son Prince Charming, the ever debonaire Puss in Boots, and you have a movie that's an all time hood classic.
Tumblr media
The jokes in this are so raw and so damn funny. Like the union bit and the police brutality joke? This damn movie was ahead of its time oh my god. Even outside of the humor though, the story itself is really good and does a great job helping you connect even more with the characters than the first movie did. Shrek especially, I feel like this one develops him even more, and you get to see just what lengths he'd go to for Fiona. It's honestly really sweet (and human Shrek is jacked wtf).
Tumblr media
The rest of the cast is also great. Fiona may not get as much screentime here, but she's still a lot of fun. Donkey is a bit less annoying here than he was in the first movie, and the new additions like Puss in Boots are superb, there's a reason they gave that crazy lil cat his own franchise ya'll.
Tumblr media
You also get a pretty interesting redemption arc for Fiona's dad, King Harold, who I just realized is the frog prince??? Like am I stupid or something for never knowing that before now??? Damn. Fairy Godmother is a FANTASTIC villain who gets to headline what may be one of the most epic climaxes in any animated ever (seriously, the I Need a Hero scene is pure HYPE). Speaking of music, the soundtrack is great just like the last movie's, with I Need a Hero being the highlight because oh my god ya'll, she slays it.
Tumblr media
The animation definately got a bit more tuned up for this one too. The character models are much stronger and less... plasticy, I suppose is the right word, and the way they move is much more natural and fluid. The world itself is also given a lot more personality. I love how Far Far Away is basically just LA. That's such a fun little inside joke I never got as a kid.
Tumblr media
As a whole, Shrek 2 is a fantastic movie. There's this trend we're gonna notice with Dreamworks trilogies where the first movie is great, the second movie is the best thing ever, and the third movie is either still really great (HTTYD3 and Kung Fu Panda 3) or the most confusing, what the fuck happened here thing ever (Shrek the Third). But we'll get to those when we get to those. Just... pray for me ya'll. Cause I gotta watch Shark Tale next. Lord have mercy on my soul.
Overall Rating: 9/10
Verdict: Get some dental insurance

oblivious - FedEx week day 6 oneshot
Fitz is walking with a purpose towards the door frame. He is walking, and walking, and walking with a purpose, and so when he stops with a purpose, it is rather abrupt.
“Good morning.”
Unleashing a string of near-unintelligible curses, Dex flails for the nearest thing he can throw, which is, frankly, stupid, because there are plenty of fragile looking prototype things there, he could just channel an intruders body, and any normal throw would pale in comparison to one with telekinesis.
Thankfully(?), he throws his circlet instead of an invention, chucking it directly at Fitz’s chest. He catches it, of course, but he’s a bit irked by the fact he had to.
“How does it feel to have a higher title than me?” Fitz jokes, only a tad bitterly. He was trying for easy, cool humor, but it probably didn’t come through, judging by the fleeting look of surprise on Dex’s face.
“Pretty great, actually.”
Okay, Dex’s smirk is fanning the flames of Fitz’s jealousy. Among other things. Sublime.
“And people are . . . treating you well?”
“When have they not,” he deadpans.
“Ah, um-”
“Fitz, please don’t take this the wrong way, but why are you asking questions you don’t want answers to? Seriously.”
Flustered, Fitz clears his throat in a sad attempt for time to think of an appropriate answer.
“That’s not- I do want to know. It just happened to be, ah, a question I was using to ease conversation before I brought up the true subject.”
“The true subject, huh?”
This is so stressful. He’s grinning and showing off his stupidly cute dimple, and he’s making a significant amount of eye contact. Why can’t he just let Fitz warm up to the subject? Get used to the conversation? He’d had exactly one real, beyond surface-level conversation with Dex before, and it had been about him almost dying. He didn’t exactly have a foundation here.
“Yes.”
“Care to share, Wonderboy?”
“You don’t need a moment to wake up?”
Dex shakes his head, smoothing out the crumpled blueprint that had been acting as a pillow. He gives Fitz a sleepy, half-lidded smile, which pretty much acts as a shot to the heart.
“Will you show me around Mysterium? We could, um, check out the food stalls, and vendor carts, and get gifts for the midterms party?”
“So, go on errands together?”
Together, yes. Errands? Not the most accurate description of what Fitz was getting at.
“More like a date?”
“Stars, finally!”
“Finally?”
“I’ve been dropping hints for weeks! Biana told me to just wait it out, because you're flirted with so often that you don’t take it seriously anymore, and it would eventually sink in.”
“It’s the Keefe effect,” Fitz grumbles.
“Right. This happens on one condition.”
Fitz stiffens.
“We avoid Slurp and Burps, okay? We don’t need my dad or siblings scaring you away.”
Cracking a smile, Fitz agrees.
His mind circled back to what Dex had said about dropping hints.
Had he really? How did Fitz not notice?

Our Ghost Best Friend
Rottmnt + gn! Reader
Time is funny. Time doesn’t wait for anyone nor does it spare anyone. Sometimes you don’t realize what you have till it’s gone.
You sat with Donnie listening as he rambles about his work. He talked about his newer invention as he worked on it. You snicker as he accidentally zaps himself with the wires.
“Not funny, L/n.”
“I disagree. It’s kinda funny.”
You knew that he wasn’t angry with you. The look in his eyes didn’t even show a bit of annoyance. He laughs and shakes his head.
“Maybe I should zap you. See how funny that is!”
“DONNIE NO-“
———
You were in the kitchen with Mikey helping him learn how to cook. You taught him how to bake a cake and then taught him how to cook a meal.
“You need to let that sit for longer. It needs to look a little darker before we put it o the skillet.”
“But it looks fine like this!” Mikey held the bowl of meat up to your face. The scent of sauces and seasonings hit your nose instantly.
“Yes it does, however the meat needs to sit for longer so it can be just as juicy when we cook it. You trust me don’t you?” Mikey nodded as he put the bowl back into the fridge.
“Yeah.” Mikey seemed a little saddened. You put hand on his shoulder and gave him a thumbs up.
“Then let me work my wonderful magic. I promise it’ll taste awesome! If it doesn’t, pizza on me!” His face brightened with the light of a sun.
“Ok!”
———
Leo was hanging upside down from the top of the half pipe as he made a funny face to you. He wanted to impress and also annoy you slightly.
“I’m just saying! I can think so much clearer now! Ideas are coming so much faster! I might as well be smarter than Donnie!”
“I doubt you can make a second turtle tank.” Leo only widened his smile and laughed.
“Please! I’m awesome! I’ve got looks, humor, an now the brain to back it up.” Leo stands up but falls down the half pipe to your feet. You worriedly checked him over tying to see if he was ok. Leo looked up at you and grinned.
“I think I just fell for you.” You scoff and help him up.
“Oh shut up. Let’s get you checked out by Donnie.” Leo went limp complaining the whole way to Donnie’s lab.
“NOOO NOT DONNIE!”
“Hurry up you big baby!”
———
You and Raph had a dance competition. You both were trying to beat each other’s score but you two had gotten so tired that you admitted to your tie. Raph offered a movie and you accept.
Raph gathered blankets and sat with you as you chose a movie. You picked a Jupiter Jim movie and hit play. You chowed down on the popcorn that Raph brought and watched in silence…for like five minutes.
“And this is the part where he..”
“Raph, you know I love you like a brother but you gotta be quiet. I wanna watch.”
“Ok.. Do you need anything? Snacks? Drinks?”
“No I’m good.”
“Want a pillow?”
‘Raph, just watch.”
———
You looked around confused as the rain passed though you.
“What the-! Guys! Guys look! It’s passing through me! Leo, I’m like so cool!” Your cheekiness was unheard as you did your best to call for them. You found them in an alleyway and called to them.
“Guys! Guys! Why aren’t you listening! I’m..right..here.” Your cries for attention stopped as soon as you saw your dearest friends in the rain crying their hearts out. Raph held something close to his chest and as soon as he pulled away, you saw your dead body in his arms. Their wails for a sign that you were alive shook you to your core. You held your head as a memory came back to you. Just like all the others.
———
“Let them go!” Raph yelled as a member of the foot clan held you by the neck. You could barely feel your feet on the edge of the rooftop.
“Give us what we want and they’ll be free. If you don’t..I guess you can say your goodbyes now.” The hand tightened, causing you to cough for air. Raph looked to Donnie and Mikey as Leo was gone desperately looking for what they wanted. When Leo finally came back, your feet weren’t even on the roof anymore. Purple marks started to show on your skin, underneath the clan member’s hand. You cried as you kept saying that you didn’t want to die.
“Toss it over!” The clan member told Leo. Leo threw it to him with a scowl on his face.
“Now let Y/n go,” Raph demanded. The clan member smiled cruelly and laughed.
“Ok, I’ll let them go.” As soon as the words left their mouth, Mikey started running. You watched as you fell from the top of the building. He reached out to you but his hand wasn’t close enough. You never thought falling felt so peaceful.
———
You reached to touch your dead body. It felt so warm to you. You felt like your body was home. Warm and cozy. However you were gone, forced to live as a being that no one could see or hear. You could only listen to the broken cries of your dearest friends.

Shower Thoughts Time!
I think it’s obvious how much I can’t wait for the comfort, humor, and angst that the Story Missions will hopefully provide between our favorite heroes, but I’m also excited by the thought of not everyone getting along or seeing eye-to-eye. Does that make sense?
Specifically, I was thinking about the interaction between D.Va and Torbjörn where Hana says “I heard your inventions take five minutes to boot up!” It is OBVIOUS who she heard that from. Torbjörn’s incessant bashing of the rookie in Uprising continues to haunt him, just when he thought endlessly hearing “The cavalry’s here!” after he said it once was the end of it. Of course, Angela was also ruthless towards him in Uprising. I just think everyone harrassing him is funny. I don’t think Torbjörn dislikes Lena in the seven or eight years that have passed, but I hope to see more of their back-and-forth bickering.
There’s also the many lines towards Cole when reviving him in PvE, like:
Pharah: “Cassidy went down again! Somebody save him!... Again!”
Zarya: “Cole, you are being a baby.”
Tracer: “YoU’Re WeLcOmE, PaRtNeR! (giggles)”
But those are all playful. On the other hand, I thought about the contrast between Zarya’s “Revive Dr. Zhou! Quick!” line and “The British one needs to be revived” line, and I found it to be strange. The latter doesn’t sound inherently nasty, but it’s just weird of Aleksandra to not even use Lena’s call sign. I believe the only other generalizations we see like this are when people call Cassidy “cowboy”, probably because the lines were written before the development team settled on a new name, and people calling the various scientists by some form of “doctor”. Maybe I’m reading into it too much, because Aleksandra can be friendly with Lena (See: “You sure know how to bring people together!” / “And you know how to blow them up!”)
I just think it would be interesting to see a clash in ideologies across the newer generation of Overwatch, because no one ever gets along with everyone in real life. What if Aleksandra didn’t agree with how Lena views omnics, for example? I would imagine that she is struggling after meeting Lynx Seventeen. She wasn’t even sure why she felt compelled to rescue them, and she said she would have killed them herself days prior. Even then, she hasn’t grown close enough with an omnic only to lose them much like Lena has with Mondatta and Lady, so she might not get it, you know?
Then, there are characters like Hanzo, who has “This is no place for a scientist” for a revive line. We can presume that Hanzo will join Overwatch after both the Dragons cinematic and whatever happens in his short story in the Heroes Ascendant collection, and I would imagine that he would find fighting alongside a super-intelligent talking gorilla from the moon to be preposterous, for example.
Or is the line, perhaps, directed towards Mei? Proto VI’s video of PVE voicelines claims that the aforementioned line is directed towards Winston, but AFAIK from my own experiences, there is no way in the fanmade file extraction tool to tell how a line is triggered or who it is directed towards.
I say this because there’s also Satya (who might defect to Overwatch alongside Niran after her upcoming short story), who has an interaction with Mei in PvP.
Symmetra: “I can't imagine that you're here to do research. Why are you fighting?“
Mei: “I'm here to make a difference in the world. Just like you, right?“
Jack also had a now-removed interaction with Mei in Overwatch 1.
Soldier: 76: “The front lines are no place for a scientist.”
Mei: “I guess it’s a good thing I have you to watch my back.”
Hanzo sounds condescending, Satya sounds curious, and Jack sounds disappointed, as if he’s guilty that someone like Mei feels they have to fight for the better world that he, a soldier genetically enhanced for combat, could not achieve. Still, their sentiment is all the same: Mei does not belong in combat.
We also have characters like Lúcio.  Lúcio was literally created to be the embodiment of Lena’s phrase “The world could always use more heroes.” He is a freedom fighter and political activist who, I would say, has definitely proven his worth in the fight against Vishkar, but we can’t forget that Lúcio is also a celebrity DJ. I love, love, love this interaction you can hear from 2019 demos:
Lúcio: “All we can do is fight. If we can beat them in Rio, then we can beat them anywhere, but we start here.”
Tracer: “We? I like the sound of that...”
The Rio team saw Lúcio in action as they were deploying, and they knew they could use his help just as much as he could use theirs. However, I can’t imagine that, say, the New Blood team will roll up to Watchpoint: Gibraltar and not raise eyebrows at the sight of international celebrity DJ Lúcio Correia dos Santos standing there, glowing green hair accessories, roller blades, and all. Imagine early 2010s Skrillex in his place if you can’t imagine how ridiculous that must look to everyone, as capable of a fighter as Lúcio is.
All of this is to say, I think it would be great to have conflict between our heroes in the form of childish bickering amid trivial disagreements, sure. I would also like to see heroes have disagreements in the beliefs that stem from their different backgrounds. Lastly, it would also tie into the overarching theme of “The world could always use more heroes” if we see a few of our heroes be brushed off and doubted by their peers only to prove that everyone can dare to see the world for what it could be, as Dr. Harold Winston put it.
Okay, that’s all! I will see you all next week when I feel an urge to write an essay about Overwatch characters again. <3

F / P / T / U
F - What’s the longest you’ve ever been in a fandom?
I mean, by some definitions of "in fandom" 20+ years, but most of those are pretty passive- like, I still enjoy it and will seek out content once or twice a year, but I'm not actively engaged. I think the longest I've been actively engaged is about 4 years?
P - Invent a random AU for any fandom (we always need more ideas).
This is awful but I feel like a MASH but they're Transformers AU would actually work... The way their nicknames already almost scan as TF names lol... But Hawkeye and Trapper as neutrals who get rescued by the Autobots and shanghaied into the medical corps, and they can't exactly let people die right in front of them when they could help but they didn't want to be involved in the war... BJ who's been separated from his Conjux Peg and their sparkling Erin who's the one of the few sparklings forged in millennia and he's super anxious and over protective of her... Also I feel like BJ would be a seeker, Trapper is a different model of aerial like maybe a copter or else something very functional like a dump truck, Hawkeye is a grounder and probably an ambulance on Earth, Radar is a minicon who's lost his partner, Margaret is a seeker, and Frank is a grounder who has a complex about seekers kfjf.
T - Do you have any hard and fast headcanons that you will die defending?
I feel like I never know how intensely I believe something until I see it being contradicted kfkfk.
A couple off the dome from least to most crazy...
Trapper is a middle child who grew up poor.
I have very strong opinions on how the Force works in Star Wars and it DOES bother me when it's written as a super power rather than a spiritual/mental discipline
Rodimus was a priest of a schismatic sect before the war
Chase was life partners with his gun minicon before the war, but his partner was requisitioned by the army and they never saw each other again
U - Three favorite characters from three different fandoms, and why they’re your favorites.
Scott Summers- I imprinted on him at an early age, he's a delightful mix of angsty and competent, he's got a pretty deadpan sense of humor, I genuinely like his relationships with other characters, he sucks in surprisingly realistic ways that make him feel grounded for a ridiculous comic book character, and he's fun to subject to Situations.
Rodimus- Insanely underrated and underappreciated protagonist! I like that he copes with Literally All of That with humor and making his own purpose in the world. In the IDW continuity, there are a lot of Implications that are never really explored in canon that can be followed up in fanfic (or in my case daydreaming because it's too complex/too many characters for me lol) I also really like his relationship with Drift, and I think he's got an interesting relationship to spirituality where he's simultaneously a true believer AND literally tells God to his literal face to go to hell jcjcj.
Trapper- I want a buddy like him :') Literally friend shaped, very funny and played with a lot of sensitivity by Wayne, I feel like there's lots of room to expand on the boy and he's an excellent comfort character, both for envisioning in cozy situations and for subjecting to Situations. He's literally just fun.

The friendship between the six of us was special.
When I arrived at university, the hope that I might find a friend was tiny. I’m not very social, I had no interest in clubs and no interest in a sorority. I was certain I’d spend these four years all on my own.
I could lay out how I met each other the six people, but that would take too long. What’s relevant is the link that kept us together: Summer.
Summer was this tall, gorgeous student athlete. She was on a volleyball scholarship and she was a nursing student, that’s how I met her, through our shared major. She asked to borrow my eraser, and I was pulled into her orbit.
That’s what summer does, collects people. She’s beautiful, the most beautiful person I’ve seen. She’s always smiling, her teeth weren’t perfect, but it was the best, most radiant smile I’d ever seen. Her blonde curls were sometimes frizzy, but they were perfect in a natural sort of beauty.
For a while I was worried I was simply in love with her, that my perception was entirely invented by my lonely heart, until I realized the other four of our friends felt the same.
Ainsley described being drawn to her like she was the sun. Brittany said she was taken in by Summer’s wicked sense of humor. Quinn said she fell for Summer’s generosity, as the girl shared meals with her when Quinn was between paychecks. Alma said Summer’s cheerfulness pulled her out of her rut of homesickness.
We were all along for the ride.
We were all single. Sometimes as a group we went out to bars, but we were more than okay with hanging out in Summer’s studio apartment. The bed was directly behind the sofa. Four girls piled onto the couch that comfortable sat three. I sat on the shag rug and Ainsley was on the chair across from me.
We were content to stay in. Two of my friends were making fun of Greek life, glad that none of us were interested in that.
“Yeah, my friend was in a sorority,” summer said, not saying who the mysterious ‘friend’ was. Summer was like that, friends of all ages and all walks of life. “They made her do crazy shit to join.”
“Like what?” Alma prompted, her hand on Summer’s knee. Summer leaning with her back against the armrest, her legs over the three girls.
Summer giggled.
“What?”
Everyone leaned forward, excited for a new story.
“They made her and the other pledges watch lesbian porn.”
Silence, followed by uncomfortable giggling.
As far as I knew, my five friends were straight, and I was a closet case, afraid to ruin what I had with them. They never seemed homophobic, but you can never really know.
“What? Why?”
Summer shrugged, smiling.
“I asked her what happened after, but she just got all red and defensive, wouldn’t say more.”
“Oh my god, do you think they like, had an orgy?”
“Oh my god!”
“No!”
“They couldn’t have!”
“Did they?”
“No way!”
Summer giggled at our foolishness. Everyone was blushing and playing at shocked. I watched Summer from the floor, feeling some level of anticipation I wasn’t expecting.
“Its no big deal,” Summer said, the picture of cool. “I’m straight, but I watch lesbian porn sometimes.”
Quinn laughed, sounding unsure. The other girls looked around, trying to gauge reactions about how to proceed.
“What?”
“How can you be straight and watch lesbian porn?”
“What, you guys have never done that? Really? It’s the only kind of porn where the women experience pleasure.”
I felt squirmy on the floor. From across the room, Ainsley raised an unreadable eyebrow at me. I could not contribute to this conversation, afraid my queerness would shine through.
“But…there’s no men…”
Summer huffed, exasperated.
“Im telling you girls, it’s the way to go. Ugh, fine, I’ll show you.”
I’ll show you.
What.
What.
But the tv was turned on. I stared at the floor. The girls on the couch started giggling. One shrieked as Summer opened some unfamiliar porn website. Of course Summer would watch some indie, fancy porn while the rest of us stayed at pornhub.
“Summer…” Ainsley protested quietly, she looked mildly frightened. I felt a connection to her, the two friends on the floor.
Summer either didn’t hear her or ignored her and the video started.
“I’m Jenny and I’m Brooklynn, and this is our video.”
“Oh my god.”
“Summer, stop, no way!”
No one was seriously asking her to stop it, this was a challenge to them now, watch the icky, weird porn, be like Summer, understand Summer.
I could hear Jenny and Brooklynn kissing. It was loud as the room quieted down. Summer also turned the volume up.
I couldn’t watch. I couldn’t. My. Face was hot, I hadn’t come in over a week, it was a recipe for wet panties.
Rustling from the tv. Don’t watch, don’t watch, don’t watch…
“Afraid, Kamie?” Summer’s voice was like music. She was looking down at me. While the others looked on curiously at her words, Summer was looking right through me.
I was horrified. Was this somehow all about me? A ruse to embarrass me? How could she possibly know.
I turned away from her. Once my eyes fixed on the screen, I couldn’t look anywhere else.
It was slow, I didn’t like it to be slow. Their shirts were off, they were making out, one was on top of the other, pushing their titties together.
“I wouldn’t mind seeing that in real life.” Summer said, quiet, but loud enough for everyone to hear.
No one was loudly teasing anymore. No one was objecting to the porn. The girls on the screen sat up, hugging each other as they kissed.
“What?”
“Two girls kissing like that. Like, in an aesthetic way, obviously,” Summer said, because she knew a lot about art, everyone accepted the words as normal.
“Oh, yeah, totally,” Brittany agreed, sounding absent.
“Yeah, hey, Kamie? Ainsley? You’re both on the floor. Why don’t you put on a little show for us?”
“Ha ha, Summer,” Ainsley said, assuming she was joking. My mouth was too dry to protest. I couldn’t…oh god.
“Well, it’s easier if you to do it, because I wouldn’t have to get up and release us sofa girlies.”
Oh, that makes sense.
I thought. But no it doesn’t! Why would I make out with Ainsley. Why would…
Ainsley is gorgeous, all my friends were, it was goddamn annoying. Her hair was dyed black, she was wearing it one long braid she kept over her shoulder. Her eyes were deep green, she had freckles over her nose.
And she crossed the room to me.
Oh. My. God.
“Will you take off your shirts? Like the girls in the video?”
The girls in the video were doing much more than kissing. I hadn’t been shirtless in front of them before. My chest wasn’t perky and small like theirs, I was a D cup, I had stretch marks.
“Do you want to?” Ainsley asked, settling in front of me on her knees. How quickly we’ve come to this, doing Summer’s bidding. I was half a second away from a heart attack, Ainsley kissed me.
“Woo!” The girls cheered, but quickly quieted down as we pulled away and looked bashfully at the floor.
“Ill keep them quiet, keep going, lovelies.”
“Okay,” we agreed, like robots. I sat on my knees like Ainsley was, like they were. This time I kissed her, lips finding hers magnetically.
She tasted like bubblegum, the slid of her tongue was professional and smooth. Through layers of shirts and bras, our chests pressed together.
“Take ‘em off!” One of my friends from the couch ordered. I was horny by then, so horny I wasn’t to push Ainsley to the carpet and forget who was in the room with me.
I took off my shirt, Ainsley did too. I moved forward and expertly undid the clasp of her baby blue bra. It popped open, her boobs were freckly too, like her face.
She undid my bra too, so we were pressed together as they fell between us.
“Holy fuck, that’s hot,” someone said, Alma or Brittany. Ainsley and I started kissing again, hungrily, needy. Our nipples grazed each other, causing me to gasp against her mouth.
Someone took a picture with flash, but I couldn’t bring myself to give a fuck as Ainsleys hand rested on my thigh, fingers close to where I needed attention.
I dug my fingers into her scalp, where her braid disconnected from her skull, ruining it. Somehow, our kissing got deeper, I wanted to crawl inside her, move in there.
“Alright,” Summer said from nearby, so close I jumped. For a moment I forgot about our audience. The women on the tv were still fucking. Loudly.
We broke away. Summer was right there beside us.
“If someone doesn’t kiss me like that, I’ll be jealous.” She stuck out her bottom lip and pouted. I wanted to keep kissing Ainsley, but our obsession with Summer made the offer too good to refuse.
I made it to her lips first. She met my kisses eagerly. She tasted like sugar, she must have licked the rim of her mixed drink. We had all only managed one before…this…
Summer’s hands were on my chest, holding my boobs, weighing them. She squeezed, groping as she saw fit. My clit was throbbing, but I focused on kissing my friend.
Meanwhile, Ainsley was alternating between sucking on my neck and hers, I know because we would each momentarily get distracted, enjoying the pleasure our third friend was giving us.
Summer pulled away first, pushing Ainsley back towards me, a silent order.
The sofa had devolved into chaos. Alma was in Quinn’s lap, her tongue down her throat. Alma was almost completely naked, save for boxers in place of underwear. Brittany was woefully abandoned, looking at everyone with wide eyes.
It had started, officially. This was what Summer always wanted, I knew it in that moment. I was just along for the ride like the rest of them.
I pushed Ainsley to the carpet, slotted our legs together, grinding on her as we kissed. She was more sensitive than I was, moaning outright as our clothes pussies rubbed together. I needed a little more than that, but I enjoyed her pleasure.
I sat up, attempting to control the situation a bit more. I writhed against her. Her mouth fell open, eyes squeezed shut as she moaned. It was so gorgeous, that when the flash of Summer’s camera covered us, I hardly cared. I wanted us to be remembered this way. Ainsley horny, mid-moan under me, and me, making her feel that way.
“Come on, Brittany, do more than soak your panties.” Summer pushed Brittany’s shoulder. I looked at her hungrily as I rocked my hips, dragging another high pitched moan out of Ainsley. “Go see the experienced lesbo.”
If this were any other situation, I’d be mortified that Summer apparently knew my secret, but I was drunk on this, and Brittany was as pretty as the rest of my friends.
I moved slightly, stopping the pressure on Ainsley.
“No, wait, please don’t go,” she practically sobbed. Which. Jesus Christ.
I kissed Brittany, but was instantly annoyed. Summer was just watching. Quinn and Alma were making out on the couch still, lazily, slowly, like the porn she liked. If summer wantsd this, I wanted her involved.
I directed Brittany towards Ainsley.
“She’s so worked up, making her come will be a breeze,” I whispered in Brittany’s ear. Ainsley still looked wide eyed and desperate. I wanted her, but I had a new target.
“Hello.”
I pushed Summer against the back of the couch, near the kissing girls, and hovered over her.
“How long have you planned this? Hmm?”
I trailed my index finger down her face, resting under her chin to lift her head slightly, forcing her eyes on mine.
“How many photos have you taken for your personal collection.”
“I, uh…” she fumbled with her phone, it slipped right out of her hands and down the cracks of the couch.
“And if I touch you, what am I gonna find? See, Summer, you talk a big game, but you’re just as horny and queer as the rest of us. Aren’t you?”
Her eyelids lowered, she was looking strictly at my lips. Long lashes, plump pink lip glossed lips.
“I knew you’d like this,” she breathed, then surprised me by lurching forward.
Things moved beyond kissing quite fast.
They started with Ainsley and Brittany on the floor. Ainsley’s pants were off and Brittany was openly fingering her, in front of everyone, under the bright lights. Ainsley was not quiet about it either.
Ainsley’s performance got quinn and Alma to slither onto the floor. They were all touching her, but I couldn’t focus long enough on that. No, it was Summer for me. Only Summer.
I pushed her length wise down on the couch, her long legs took up most of it. She whimpered as I opened the button of her shorts and slipped my hand inside to find wet panties.
I nipped at her skin, she was blushing pretty pink.
Whenever I glanced to the side, my friends were a writhing mess of tangled limbs, half-removed clothes. They were moving as soon, the pairs had joined, but I wanted to make Summer come before I inserted myself into the pile.
“I could tell you were gay,” she said as I rubbed her clit, she was breathing heavy, actively biting back moans I needed to hear. “You tried to pretend but it was obvious.”
I fucked her on my fingers, momentarily pulling away to remove her shorts and soaking panties completely. Not before showing them off to Summer.
“Yeah? What’s this? You could tell I was gay?” I asked as I pressed a kiss to her torso. She shivered. Someone on the ground was coming, Ainsley probably.
“Yes.”
I kissed her hipbone. Her hips lifted slightly, but she controlled herself.
I was gonna say something like takes one to know one, but that was cheesy.
“I think planning a sex party for you girl group is more gay than I have ever been.”
She growled, frustrated. Through gritted teeth she said “shut up and make me come.”
Whatever. She wanted to come? Maybe I’ll make an effort to ruin any sex she has in the future. She can fuck anyone she wants, but she’ll always compare it to-
“Fuck!” Summer yelped, practically, as I licked at her clit.
My brain could separate her shuddering breaths from those on the floor. I wasn’t paying attention to them, anyway. It didn’t matter what they were doing, I was focused on her and her pretty pussy.
I sucked on her clit, fucking her with two fingers. It really was that simple, and she was gone. She wasn’t lasting, I could tell by the way she clenched around me, tight and wet and desperate.
“Fuck-“ it was a choked-off cry, and she was coming. Her hips lifted off the couch, I followed her, continuing to eat her through it.
When I pulled away, I eyed her. Panting, spent. She looked pretty even there, with mascara smudged, hair sweaty on her forehead.
I looked to the floor, only to find the girls all sitting there in various states of undress, watching with open adoration. Ainsley looked blissfully fucked out, she was holding her phone. It was pointed only at summer, recording her reactions to the sex. Good, the memory would be helpful for us all, going forward.
“Um, Kamie?” Brittany asked, her chest was out, her lips were swollen, and I was so horny I felt less than human. “Do you think you could make me come like that?”
They all looked at me, wide eyed and curious.
Yes. But not before I got my own pleasure. Ainsley put down the phone, but only for a moment. When the evening was over and everyone went their separate ways, the group chat was flooded with pictures and videos from the night, everyone remarking on what was captured, what fun they had.

“It worries me how often that devil summons you,” Evie heard her tentmate softly say while he stared at the pages of the book in his hand.
After hours of travelling, the group had opted to set up a temporary camp.  Instead of dragging everything out, she and Astarion had decided to simply share a tent for the ‘night.’  Just two bedrolls…and the wall of pillows between them.
Evie watched the motes of dim light floating above them.  “But what do I even do about it?  I think upsetting him wouldn’t exactly be smart.  We don’t want to needlessly make an enemy of him and he has provided us with good info.”
Astarion scoffed and dropped the book aside, turning to look at her fully.  “Does he have nothing better to do, though?” he complained, his face twisting into a sneer.
She could only shrug.  Though they spoke fairly frequently, she couldn’t pretend to know how Raphael spent the rest of his time.  “I do kinda wonder if he may be planning something else.  Like, this is a lot of his time he seems to be putting into us.”
His expression turned dubious.  “You.  That he is putting into you, dearest.  The devil isn’t whisking away anyone else in the dead of night.”
Honestly…it made her feel better that no-one else was in the same position she was.  With Raphael focusing on her, that kept them safer.  Fewer temptations, fewer distractions.  “I tried confronting him a while back about why he’s so keen on me specifically, and all he said was that my soul has more unique qualities that attract devils.  He’s been pushy about the ‘Hero of Baldur’s Gate’ thing.  Maybe it’s an investment thing?  He’s invested in the outcome and so certain that he’ll get my soul eventually that he’s taken it upon himself to micromanage us?”
“Plausible as any other theory at the moment, I suppose,” Astarion sighed, tracing the frayed decorative stitching on one of the pillows.  “You said he’s had one of his…minions spying on us?”
“Korilla?  Yeah.  She seems okay.  Minus the…spying…part.”  She remembered the time she first met Korilla when she and Lae’zel confronted her near their camp.  She had occasionally seen the warlock since during her time spent with Raphael.
He sat up straighter and looked down his nose at her.  “Evie, darling, just because someone is nice to you, doesn’t mean you should trust them.”  She couldn’t help how her eyes narrowed on him, the weight of his very recent confession to her that he had spent most of the time he’d known her trying to manipulate her still stung. “Yes, I am a phenomenal example!  Oh, don’t give me that look!  I’m no devil, at least.  Trusting me at all was still stupid and you shouldn’t keep making exceptions.”
She knew this and she knew she didn’t always have the best judgment of character or ability to read others.  It meant others did take advantage of her.  But she still preferred to err on the side of seeing the best in people.  After all, Astarion had told her and promised to do better and focus on introspection and growth.  Would he have gotten to that point if she hadn’t shown him that trust and compassion, that not all the world was bleak?
“He offered to make me a warlock,” she shared.  “I told him I wasn’t interested, but he must have told her to try to convince me.  She said I was dumb if I didn’t accept.”
“Then that goes doubly so!” he hissed, leaning close.  In a blink, though, his face turned imploring. “You’re not considering it, are you?  I hope you aren’t for my sake, dear.  We can find better ways to deal with Cazador than accepting a deal from - honest to Hells - one of the few people who could turn out to be worse.   There’s no telling how he could really be if he ever owns you.  We want our freedom when we are through with this mess, after all.”
“I guess she’s been secretly helping us out quite a bit at his direction.  Maybe we’re just that awful at all this,” she stifled a slightly worried giggle.  Korilla had been saving her hide specifically a lot, as it turned out.  Astarion would have an absolute conniption if he discovered she was leaving out supper portions for the warlock whenever she cooked if she sensed her nearby.
Chewing her lip, her thumb soothed over the tattooed symbol above her opposite wrist.
Astarion shook his head.  “Don’t let them get in your head.  I know I can be critical at times…but you have improved immensely.  It’s only in their interests that you doubt yourself.”
Her eyes drifted around the bare tent.  “It hasn’t been all bad.  Sometimes it’s even…enjoyable.”  It made her feel guilty just how much she enjoyed talking with Raphael at times.  He was prone to dramatics but that was part of his charm - much like the elf sitting across from her.  “Though I’m starting to feel like I’m having routine meetings with my manager, which I think messes with my head more than anything else.”
“See, that is precisely what worries me!” he bristled again.  “He’s just hoping to butter you up so you’ll sign one of his contracts!”
Evie gripped one of the pillows, contemplating throwing it at him.  “I’m not going to!  And I’m well aware that is most likely his goal.”
Astarion shrank back.  He looked like there was something else he wanted to say but he chewed on it for a bit.  When he finally spoke, his words were uncertain and vague, not aided any by the gesture he made before recrossing his arms, “He’s not making you…you know?”
“Making me what?”  She didn’t catch his meaning.
Astarion sighed with his exasperation.  “Fuck him!  He’s not using you for sex, is he?”
She blinked in disbelief.  “No.”
Sure, the devil used language meant to entice - quite similarly to how Astarion used to speak to her, actually - but he had never propositioned her like that.  To her knowledge.  Maybe Astarion was seeing similarities to their relationship and that was adding to his worries?
He held his hands up defensively.  “I had to be sure.  You did say the time with him was enjoyable.  And with us not…  I’m not sure I could blame you if you were - he has a certain allure to him.  Maybe he likes the whole sexy fox thing.”
The sound she made was a choked mash of a laugh and a scoff.
“So what do you do during these visits?” he asked.
She thought for a moment.  “Aside from all the garbage going on-  Talk about nerdy shit.”
“You’re joking,” he stated dryly.
“Politics, music, art, theater, books, history, food…”  Was that really that weird?  “He’s really knowledgeable and seems to just like the conversation.”
“You’re making friends with the devil, Evie!” he exclaimed, running his hands down his face.
“Is that a bad thing?”  Before he could answer, she added, “Do you remember when we were on the docks and you said that being friends with a vampire was weird?”
“I think there’s a bit of a difference between a vampire and a devil, my dear,” he argued.
“Why?”  Everyone treated the answer like it was super obvious.  It reminded her of the scaretales of her religious upbringing that she had long since abandoned.  ‘Devils are evil’ held no real meaning to her anymore.  Raphael held himself to a rather strict code of conduct - “Hell has its laws,” he was fond of saying - which was more than could be said of many people she knew who claimed to be better.
He tsk’d in disapproval.  “Well, for one, the moment he decides you’re no longer of any use to him - or worse, if he believes you’ve slighted him in some way or broken some rule - he is significantly more capable of harming you.  Devils see everyone as tools to use at their own convenience and nothing else.  I, for one, would prefer we stayed clear of him but…” the energy behind his words died off.  He couldn’t forget that there was something they did need Raphael’s help for.
“Speaking of-” Evie broached softly.  “I think…you should be the one to approach him about your scars, Asta.  If I bring it up, I kinda worry any deal he’d come up with might be weighted differently than if you were the one to ask him.”  She earnestly added, “Not that I don’t wanna help or anything, because I’ll totally talk to him for you if you want me to!”
He pursed his lips and shook his head.  “No, I agree.  You especially should be wary of making any deals with him and this is my burden to bear.  The less you’re involved in that part, the better.”
A companionable silence lulled between them.
But she was no closer to understanding her questions.
Evie flopped down on her back with a yawn and stretched her arms over her head.
“Do you think…I could have a bit of a late night snack?”
She cracked her eyes open to see crimson pleading down at her.  “Toss me a ration pack from my bag?”
He bolted upright and grabbed for her bag, rooting through it until he found what she asked for.  She caught and tore it open, flopping her arm over the pillows between them.

i am five episodes in now, so i feel ready to write a critical post, but it won't be too spoilery. wednesday has been an unfortunate disappointment. it's lacking all the humor and energy of the sitcom and 90s films (i haven't read the original comics), and seems to miss the point of them entirely. it really feels like the only addams family story tim burton has ever interacted with is addams family values, but that he also misunderstood the film entirely. wednesday in the 90s films is a fun character! she is not allergic to the concept of fun! while morticia and gomez are always incredibly kind and understanding, we saw wednesday in the films grow into someone more suspicious of others than her parents, which is a fine way to distinguish her character from theirs. in values, though, she is not being contrary for contrary's sake. wednesday doesn't hate that people are having a good time at the summer camp, her hatred of them is the film being critical of 90s conservatives and white suburban conformity. wednesday is the champion of the outcasts and the voice of reality.
what is wednesday the series being critical of? it claims patriarchy, but it's only critical of that in the vaguest, most ineffective sense. it fully feels like wednesday's declaration to never fall in love or marry is seen as a flaw in her that the show intends to fix, rather than a normal life experience for a lot of people (also, why is it that every teen girl story involves romance? are teen girls allowed to have other adventures?? starting to realize beetlejuice is burton's best work, actually). wednesday criticizes her mother for being a housewife, and while morticia being a housewife is a product of the time in which the character was invented, it also dismisses the fact that gomez is essentially a househusband. literally both gomez and morticia spend all their time at home pursuing the things they want to pursue. they are living the dream. morticia doesn't need a job; she spends the whole sitcom practicing different art forms. kind of like, you know, wednesday in the series wanting to be a writer.
if wednesday (both the character and the show) wanted to fight the patriarchy, why did she spend the entire first episode antagonizing every girl she came across, and only befriending boys? she straight up not-like-other-girls-ed herself. wednesday finding out that bianca is the queen bee, and then immediately making her the enemy is not subversive. it's clear that the show is developing bianca into a more complex character, which is good, but even that is not subversive. it's been done a million times. a more subversive (and addams world) tactic would have been for bianca to be a friendly queen bee, and for her and wednesday to quickly become friends. they're both matched in skill and intelligence, so it's awful how the show tries to pit them against each other. while it is good that the show does seem to want to maybe criticize that, nevermore is supposed to be a school of outcasts, is it not? so why is it being developed the exact same way as every other high school in american media? where's the flavor? why is this school itself not a fun subversion, with the town set up as its real-world reflection that it criticizes?
and again, if the show wanted to criticize the patriarchy, it could have taken a stronger stance against tyler getting upset that wednesday was 'sending him mixed signals'. no she wasn't! she was being friendly, like a normal person. a girl being friendly is not her inviting romantic advances, and it's incredibly entitled for tyler to get upset that she didn't ask him to the dance. but instead of the show pointing out how bullshit that is, it had thing apologize on wednesday's behalf. that's stupid at best, and dangerous at worst.
lastly, gomez and morticia. while both actors are decent choices for their roles, it feels like they forgot to do a chemistry test with them. but that aside, i don't know why the show wants to butcher their characters, especially morticia. gomez, at least, is fun, and the show acknowledges that he's a great father. but pitting wednesday against morticia? morticia has always been wholly supportive of her children's endeavors - i am trying to give the show the benefit of the doubt here, since wednesday is a teenager, and may be going through an awkward rebellious period (though what is she rebelling against, even? the whole family is a rebellious period). and they completely forgot to make morticia fun.

Grover X Beckendorf Headcanons:
- Grover hangs around Beckendorf. a lot. the satyr takes exuse he can get to tag along with percy when he’s hanging out with Charles and only does so to eat all the scrap metal they leave behind, which comes in mass when it comes to Beckendorf; he was a perfectionist in his younger years, so there we always failed prototypes for Grover to chew on. It annoyed Charles at first, but after a while and getting to know the goat boy better he actually liked Grover’s company (he even thought it was kind of cute whenever his new friend would snatch and scrap metals that came flying over his way - wait that’s kind of gay- (POSSIBLE FANFIC IDEA???)
- Charles always tries his best to send iris messages to percy when his friend is on quests. percy unfortunately doesn’t note them because they’re usually just hour long conversations between a percy at 3:00 am who’s unable to sleep and a Beckendorf awake in the afternoon (cause of time zones) talking about girls, video games, etc. one time he was caught by Chiron late at night but the iris message quickly dissolved into Chiron stealing Charle’s call to talk with Percy.
- Silena was one of the first people to really recognize Charle’s discarded work (other than Percy and sometimes Grover whenever he wouldn’t eat his scrap, Silena was just more persistent and interested in his projects). the funny thing is that most of the time she confused his inventions for other things. example: Beckendorf makes a homemade lunchbox that folds for extra storage on the inside (actually one of Grover’s favorites that Charles finalized later in his years and gifted it to Beckendor)? Silena: “Ooooo! Is that a makeup kit?” Really, they were more friends than lovers. Silena had feelings for Clarrise, and Beckendorf was starting to realize a lot about himself when it came to Grover. But wouldn’t it be fun? It’d be easier. It’s what was expected of them anyways. (WOW! i’m on a role with this doomed yaoi!)
- Charles looks like he benchpresses, but in reality? he’s…(shudders) a GA(Y)MER…
- Charles loves to play the drums. as a full homemade set he can fold and carry from his home and camp. also has steel drums ONLY for camp (Ms. B doesn’t like the sounds it makes, it gets annoying after awhile). Him and Grover have duets.
- Before Grover went out on his quest after book 1, Charles gifted him a cup that had “The Best Satyr Ever” written on it (gay???1!1?1!)
- Tyson could see how gay Charles was for Grover. he has a voice radar AND gaydar which is unfortunate for Beckendorf. one time almost outed him to the entire camp when he said something along the lines of “you homo for goat boy?” In his heart he’d rather Charles be homo for anyone BUT goat boy, but he’s accepting (can’t spell cyclops without W).
- in an alternative (better) universe, Charles is along for the ride in the Sea of Monsters! but it sad lemme explain to myself: basically like Clarrise is given her own quest but Chiron and Dionysus don’t trust her, but more importantly her father, so have Charles, Silena, and maybe a few other campers go out to keep and eye on her. Clarrise catches on and tries to kill them probably distracting her from another event and shit goes down the drain. but like in the end everyone makes up and these characters actually get screentime! yay! victory! (also probably carry’s Grover like a princess. it awakened something in the both of them
- Grover is crazy good at just dance. Charles made another wii and everyone suggested him to download new games. “Can you install Super Mario Bros Wii?” Percy pleaded. “Does this stupid console have Halo?” Clarrise interrogated. “Oh, I just love Just Dance, it’s just great, BLAHAHAHA!” Grover humored. Just Dance was on Charle’s second homemade wii in a matter of minutes, and in stayed in his cabin so that when they could, him and Grover could just be together as two (either way Charlie isn’t the best at Just Dancd, Grover is too good but Beckendorf doesn’t mind watching him).
- When Grover called Beckendorf Charles for the first time, he didn’t correct him. A few minutes later another camper called him Charlie and he corrected them.

Hi☺️
I knoww, it's really hard, I'm pretty indecisive as well. I've seen AND loved all of those series, other than Alice in Borderland, I actually haven't heard about it before. And all honestly those are all so different so how are you supposed to choosee. I don't think I can choose one at all, tho I will say that I enjoyed Atypical a lot as well, I feel like it has a very similar air as Sex Education, tho a very different plot. Amd a recent favourite of mina has been Cunk on Earth. I found it really funny. I don't know if you know it but it's a comedical documentary in a way. This character: Filomena Cunk goes around museums and good schools and asks experts questions on history. And the experts don't really know what she's gonna ask and some react very smartly and insightfully while some are just completelly stunned. She asks questions like (were humans from the same flesh as we are or were they made from pork or beef?). I like the humor in it a lot. And there's one point in which she asks one expert if the Romans invented anal bleaching. His reaction is priceless🤭.
I saw @lord-of-dice-and-kinks is taking a break from tumblr. Hope he's okay:) and social media can honestly be so draining.
Hm I guess the thing about fetlife that I don't like is that since you have to register to see how it is I don't really get to see if it's something I will like if that makes any sense. And I also don't like that you put in your city, I know it can still be anonymous but I don't know. As much as I know it's completelly okay I'm kinky and that if someone is on fetlife as well it's nothing that will shake the world, but I feel like in order for me to comfortably explor this side of me I just really like anonymity.
Hm🤭okay so maybeee I have a thing for Tom Riddle fanfictions. Well I haven't read one in a while but it was my thing. One of my favourite fanfictions in Unsphere the Stars. It's not necesarilly kinky but I enjoy Tom being a dark character and it's really well writen.
No spoilers, but there's definitely spicy scenes🤭I'm sure he's enjoying your research hihi.
I'm glad you have people around you that can help you with that, it has happened to me as well. And you're beautiful:) your personality absolutelly gorgeous.
Hm I like that I'm curious and I really like my hair:)
:)
Oh I knoww, starting to write is so hard. Hm random idea you're totally free to ignore but a story starting with "Make me," sounds like a lot of fun🤭
Oh and for the question which is from the list of questions you rebloged because I couldn't think of an original one🤭what's your favourite foreplay activity?
Hope you have fun:)
-your sleepy anon
Heyy
Ohhhh so fun that you like all of those!! You have good taste xD Alice in Borderland is really good but it's also pretty gorey and dark so it's not for everyone, but it's such a well thought out plot Oohh Atypical is a good one as well! Cunk on earth is on my watchlist, I've seen little blips come by and it looked really funny :) Oh my god that sounds very funny haha, I definitely need to watch it now!
He's doing okay! He just needed some time to focus on himself a bit more
I get that, that made me a little nervous at first as well, but it does make sense privacy wise People post nudes and sensitive images on there and it would not be ethical if just anyone without an account could see However, with the city thing you can choose who can see the city, state and country you live on For example, I have my city only visible for friends but I could also make it so only I can see it Same goes for state and country,a dn I guess if you wanna be very safe you can put in a fake country and city Mhm I get that anonimity part I'll just share that there are a lot of people that keep their profile really empty, you don't have to put a picture, you don't have to put in your legit age (although you should still be atleast 18+ before joining) and your legit country/city and you don't have to write a bio However it is just nicer if you decide to interact with people to have some stuff on your profile so others know you're not a creep or something But that is all up to you, I hope this information can help you make a choice about what you think is best for you 😊
Ohh Tom Riddle, nicee Mhmm well written dark characters can be so goodd!
Can't wait to read them 🤭
Thank youu 🥺☺ so sweet Ohh being curious is a very fun trait! And I'm sure you're hair is superpretty :)
Oohh that sounds like a very bratty start to a story xD I might do that 👀 would have tot hink of some bratty words and actions first tho hihi
Hihi that's okay! As foreplay I really like making out, playfighting/wrestling a little, dirty talk (although I am not good at it xD) And lots of touching/oral How about you?
Thank you for another fun message 😊 And hope you had a good day!
