I'll be the first to point out plot holes in this show but I absolutely love the way they have been doing plot twists so far - well we are already at episode 14 so there isn't much else left to draw my conclusions now.
Calling them plot twists feels almost like an exaggeration because of how organic they are, I have never seen them done like this before. Despite the camp and some ridiculously unrealistic world building, these twists feel exactly like real life. Like they're confusing but also sort of make sense? Like they are so wild nobody could've predicted them but it's also so inline with the character that it's not jarring - a soft plot twist, if you will.
A real life example of this would be (and desis do back me up here) Priyanka Chopra getting married to Nick Jonas like- NOBODY could have predicted that but it's organic, it's real life, that's how the world works. Like, I am hoping this is making sense because I'm at loss of words now.
Now the plot twist that made me think of this entire meta is Episode 13, when Porsche decided to tag team with Vegas while Vegas decided to help Porsche because he's fed up of the adults and because he wants a way to reach out to Pete.
Not the brotp I asked for but definitely the brotp I needed.
Anyway, this had me thinking - this is what they have been doing it with us the entire time. Some of the plotlines are cliched AF but most of them really blindside you. Like I see so many people trying to predict what's gonna happen in the next episode and they are all wrong 99/100 times lol. They have made clowns of the audience but WITHOUT punishing us for our expectations (unlike some other western showrunners like Game of Thrones I am sorry for always making this comparison). KP's showrunners have subverted our expectations by giving us things that were even better than what we could have imagined.
Take the bathroom scene for example, it came out of nowhere, that was not at all how I imagined that scene would go, it was absolutely beyond my tiny tiny western media fed brain. It was a plot twist!! It was shocking!! I had to pick up my jaw from the floor when it aired!! I couldn't think of anything else for a month!! We all lost our minds over it!! It was intentional!! I want to have this scene framed and displayed in my house!! My life is divided between before I saw this scene and after!! This scene fundamentally changed my perception of humanity and sexuality!! I don't know what else to say here - it was earth shattering!!
You know what else was a plot twist?! THEIR FIRST KISS BY THE PIER!! I did not see it coming. I was only expecting flirting and a general romantic set-up, I was expecting Kinn to tsundere his way into figuring Porsche out but my man straight up went for a kiss right then and there!! And now it seems like such a perfect, organic thing, like we can't even imagine it any other way but when it happened you bet your little ass I was pleasantly blindsided.
Go to episode 4, their first time having sex with each other was also a plot twist! I was only expecting Porsche to ask Kinn about his feelings, tease him, kiss him maybe, etc but again!! They just- went for it?? Like?? I remember everyone losing their collective minds over it in the best way possible??
And then we transition right into episode 5 where again!! Plot twist!! Porsche is not happy the morning after and this was hard to watch ngl but they couldn't have been more careful and gentle in their handling of the situation.
The resolution of this episode was also, one of my favorites in the entire show with Kinn coming to Porsche's house and apologizing and asking him to come back home. This wasn't the plot twist though. The real plot twist of episode 5 was that Kinn isn't a badass Crime lord, Kinn is a clown.
Clown!Kinn appeared in episode 5, installed himself into our hearts in episode 6 and never left.
Which takes me to the most plot twisty episode of the season: the jungle escape - just littered with minor plot twists throughout. WHAT DO YOU MEAN KINN KNEW HOW TO OPEN THE HANDCUFFS? WHAT DO MEAN HE WILL TELL EVERYONE PORSCHE DIED IN THE FOREST?? WHAT DO YOU MEAN HE LIKES TO SEE PORSCHE HAPPY?? WHAT DO YOU MEAN PORSCHE FORGAVE HIM A LONG TIME AGO?? WHAT DO YOU MEAN KINN IS INTO OLD SONGS?? WHAT DO YOU MEAN???????
I could write a dissertation just about the beats of their cave conversation and how well they managed to convey Porsche's journey into falling in love with Kinn (who was already in love with Porsche by this time)
Another plot twist they had was Kinn straight up announcing that he loves Porsche in front of everyone - again, something I don't think anyone saw coming but that's how things work out in real life, don't they?? There isn't a dramatic reveal to these things they are just revealed. NOBODY could have seen that coming and if you did I congratulate you on having a large brain.
The hedgehog (RIP) being the plot driver to push the Vegaspete agenda was not on my bingo card that's for sure. The plot twist?? That Vegas is a cry baby and a hedgehog dad and Pete can't leave a pathetic man alone. Everyone thought they'd be the sexy couple but nah nah nah it's psych time you hoes, they are the pathetic couple.
Psych again! Because they are BOTH pathetic and sexy! Vegaspete plot twist number 2: Pete handing the rope to Vegas.
WHO???? THE FUCK???? came up with that??!! I want to know their names so I can erect a shrine in the honor of their brains. I don't even remember what I was expecting but I'm sure this wasn't it. PLOT. TWIST.
Psych again!! Pete is actually traumatized by the whole experience and it's so painful to watch you will want to die but also it's feeding us emotionally in way we never could have imagined!! (More deep dive into this in my post about Dehumanizing Pete here)
It's the stuff of the best fan-fiction but making it 100 times better without following any of the usual tropes. It's insane how big brained they have been and how much they really want to make the audiences happy. And that's it. That's the Genius of Kinnporsche's Plot Twists - they want to make the audiences happy. It's so simple.

The Main Pair of DetCo (As you have likely gathered from osmosis knowledge + WATCHING THE FIRST MOVIE, I AM STILL SCREAMING ABOUT THAT)
Elaboration on certain points:
Oh there's no way this will end well & I can make it so fucked up & I can make it so stupid: The Situation Is already fucked up, so I don't even have to do anything, and I'm here to see how it will unfold. And before it gets better (so not the ultimate end) they have to work through a really messy tangle of things. Also they are already endearingly stupid, so that is covered too.
I don't see them as romantic & In a Relationship & Most codependent bitches on earth: I do see them as romantic (DEFINITELY!) but they are so much more than just romantic; their relationship has so many wonderful layers. The deep connection they share is not just romantic; THEY SHAPE EACH OTHER. I view them as the Ultimate Example of the Soulmate trope: in every universe, they are connected and important to each other in one way or another. There is no Shinichi without Ran and no Ran without Shinichi. They can and do function without each other but also their driving force and motivation is very deeply rooted in each other.

Basically canon to me & I don't really see them as romantic: THEY ARE THE BEST OF FRIENDS YOUR HONOUR, SUCH HIGH QUALITY FRIENDSHIP, THE LOVE THERE, THE WAY THEY CARE SO MUCH ABOUT EACH OTHER, IT MEANS SO MUCH TO ME I'm dYinG- (But also Heiji having the biggest Crush TM on Shinichi never stops being a source of joy because no one goes through the trouble of getting picked as a "Great Sherlockian" despite preferring Ellery Queen, to attend a Sherlock Holmes Fan meeting SO HE CAN POTENTIALLY MEET WITH HIS RIVAL HE MET THE ONCE AT THAT POINT, FCKIN DEDICATION THERE)
Compatible brand of freaks: they are definitely Weird TM, my little weirdo mystery maniacs, definitely forces of nature.

To quote the creator: "But I wanted a rival that was an arch nemesis to detectives, natural enemy to appear. [...] who’s smart as Conan and can oppose him."
I can make it so fucked up & I can make it so stupid: Been there, Done That, Canon Already Provides.
I don't really see them as Romantic & In a relationship: I can see them as many things, be it platonic, partnership, romance, friendship, really, I'm not picky about the nature of their relationship for some reason.
brb gotta go through their whole ship tag: as with ShinRan, it's a thing in progress.
They enable the worst of each other & Compatible brand of freaks: reckless tendencies, the both of them, Ultimate Chaos Bringer Duo, also Bastards To Each Other TM. On the other hand: they are already competent on their own, but they can work really well together too, these absolute gremlins, Scarily Compatible And Competent.
Oh there's no way this will end well & Thematically delicious: complicated situations, Detective-Thief (have always been weak to the trope) business, really, there's bound to be at least a disaster or two.

V. Mouri Ran - Suzuki Sonoko ( - Kudou Shinichi/Edogawa Conan)
Childhood Friends since the start of time (or at least kindergarten, together with Shinichi they make my beloved Sakura Trio)
General thoughts: THEY LOVE AND CARE ABOUT EACH OTHER SO MUCH, YET THERE IS SUCH LOVELY TEASING and the potential of stupid teenage shenanigans is STRONG. In any arrangement, they are dear to me, CHILDHOOD BESTIE SQUAD.

VI. Takagi Wataru - Kudou Shinichi/Edogawa Conan
Police Officer of my heart and The Lil Gremlin Partnership
Basically canon to me & I don't see them as romantic: they proved time and time again that THEY ARE AWESOME PARTNERS IN MYSTERY-AND-CRIME SOLVING, SO MUCH COMPATIBILITY THERE, AWESOME WORKING TEAM, FCKIN CANON ON THAT ONE.
I can make it so stupid: as always, They Already Are, most endearingly stupid too.
They're sweet: THEY ARE SUPER SWEET, SO CUTE, THEY HAVE SO MUCH RESPECT FOR EACH OTHER AND CARE SO MUCH, EXCUSE ME AS I CRY.
brb gotta go through their whole partnership tag: I already have, and even tried other kind of searches to find more content of them, I'm crying. T_T
Bonus: Takagi Wataru, always the witness for his Cryptid Moments TM, and also is amazed by him since day 1 (even if he doesn't know Conan is Shinichi), and Shinichi feeling a kinship with him. (Amongst other things not mentioned here.)

15, 20, 25 and 30
15. Any old hobbies you took up again during lockdown? Playing video games was one. Definitely knitting, although that took several months for it to stick. Writing emails and letters to friends. I tried to get back into reading, but that’s still a hit-or-miss area for me.
20. Have you been able to go on any holidays this year? I almost said no to this because I was so focused on the word holidays and then I was like ‘wait that’s not true.’ I had the extreme good fortune of a friend inviting me to Kitty Hawk NC for a weekend in March and again for a week in June. Easily some of my favorite and fondest memories from this year.
(I suppose taking a month hiatus from work also counts as a holiday of sorts lol)
25. Favorite online shop? Does Uber Eats count? I purchased a couple of Edible Arrangements for friends when they were having rough days this year, that was fun.
30. What did you only start to appreciate because lockdown took it from you? BEING ABLE TO PHYSICALLY TOUCH PEOPLE. Touch starvation takes on a whole new meaning when you have almost none of it for 2 months, and then another 5 months shortly after that.
Also my...always having options, having friends and family and community to go to. I’ve never been alone on holidays because I’m blessed with an abundance of people in my life. I still have those people, but not being able to spend time with any off them taught me a lot.

snape fic recs - old magic/epic worldbuilding
related to this post. i decided to dig through my bookmarks and wrack my brain for some of the fics i remember reading that scratched this particular itch. this will have fics that had the characters practice old magic and are more focused on the adults/hogwarts staff rather than the kids, or if the kids would be mentioned they would not be the main povs. these will be multi-chaptered, often long (and obviously au), and some of them have pairings. please heed the tags and warnings that the individual authors would have left; what you consume is your own responsibility. the fics are also listed in no particular order:
In His Name by moira of the mountain - After the Final Battle, a fallen Snape is hidden, bearing Tom Riddle's last Unforgivable. There are three Secret Keepers and a Muggle healer to protect him, but will it be love - or an obligation - which finally frees him?
- no pairings // kinda brotp between mcgonagall, snape, and hagrid // also unfinished so fair warning. the lore is so rich though, it feels like how magic in hp should have been.
Death’s Dominion by MMADfan - Severus Snape’s life was changed when he was hit by an errant spell, and he comes to a decision that defies Dumbledore’s wishes. Even the fate of the wizarding world is altered by this ill-cast curse and Snape’s subsequent resolve.Long after the spell has dissipated, its effects continue echoing in the lives of Severus, Albus, Minerva, and Hermione, and they bring with them a shadowy figure whom Snape does not trust and whose motivations and influence on Minerva are murky. Not all is as it seems, and conspiracies and schemes swirl around Severus as he continues on his path of deception to his final confrontation with the Dark Lord. A “Light” fic of love, loyalty, and redemption.
- mm/ad, ss/hg // this fic. is LEGENDARY. this is one of those fics that require your full attention and will eventually suck you in and spit you back out with your whole life changed. it will take you on a whole rollercoaster of emotions. the mm/ad pairing is quite an obvious one but the ss/hg is a subtle one and it’s more friendship throughout the whole fic than an actual romantic relationship. the ocs (a lot of them minerva’s family) are also SO well-made you’ll forget they’re not canon.
FALLING FURTHER IN by kaz2 - Hermione begins to learn something of the man behind the dark sarcasms of the classroom.
- ss/hg, also features wolfstar, brotp between the faculty and severus // this was one of the fics i had in mind when i did that last post about missing old hp stories. this was started in the early 2000s and the author had free rein on a lot of the material. flitwick and sprout are married here and are the cutest things on earth. it’s also set during the summer leading into harry’s final year so all the teachers are staying at hogwarts and are all good friends with each other. hermione is there as well because her parents had been murdered by death eaters and so she’s spending it with them. the way the ww is written here is so...epic, jkr couldn’t even. snape lives in an invisible tower called serpens tower, the teachers often go to a brothel-which-isn’t-really-a-brothel in hogsmeade, the other teachers often baby severus subtly because he’s the youngest, wolfstar are tolerable and remus actually learns to brew his own damn wolfsbane, etc. the story is in story format until near the end iirc and then the author outlines what happens next rather than writing it out. i can’t blame them; it really is a massive undertaking.
The Crest by sheankalor - Dumbledore only holds partial say in who the Head of House is. Severus Snape is nominated as the Head of Slytherin, but has to pass a final test. Can he? Does he work well with the other three Heads of House? And just what is The Crest?
- no pairings // staff fic // one of the rare one-shots but it’s in an au which feeds into other stories // i loooove the lore in this. it provides an explanation as to how a house head is approved by the school and i’m a sucker for any fic that has the faculty getting along.
Balance by rabbit and -v-Jinx-v - Hogwarts is under siege, and it's going to take everyone to find a way out of danger.
- no pairings // brotp minerva and severus, also harry and draco form a friendship // this is one of my personal faves. it’s not only old magics but the entirety of hogwarts come together to battle against dark forces (not even death eaters but...balrogs...and other things). there’s no build-up to it; you enter the story after the battle’s already begun and then you get taken along for the ride. also has a part where the heads of houses meet the founders and there’s this epic dance that’s reminiscent of the danse macabre in The Graveyard Book (if you’ve read that you’d know what i mean).
Another World by Aeryn Alexander - Detention with Snape turns into something of an adventure for Hermione and Ginny, not to mention Professor Lupin, as they all discover that Hogwarts holds a terrible secret that none of them want to learn.
- ss/hg, rl/gw // this fic took me by surprise because i didn’t expect it to go the way it did based on the summary lmao. the 4 basically get trapped in a mirror version of hogwarts after a potions accident, and the mirror world has literal demons in it. they have to find a way to get back into the real world while not getting killed at the same time. i actually liked lupin in this one and he and severus form a tenuous friendship.
In One Spirit by mavidian - Voldemort and Dumbledore prepare for war and survival. Plans go awry, intrigues abound and nothing is what it seems. Snape created the Dark Mark but that mistake may cost him everything. Can Hermione be his saving grace?
- ss/hg but it’s such a slow build you barely notice it during even the first 20 or so chapters because he’s his usual asshole self and they’re too busy trying to protect hogwarts // the concept of this fic and the lore it built up...wow. the faculty are all friends and they’re trying very hard to protect hogwarts using their own magics and their own clever schemes (war brooms? battle wands? blessing tree? filch even gets powers!). voldemort is also equally devious here and snape has loving pureblood parents! (not that it matters, he’s still an ass, but then it’s nice to read about him having a nice family for once). neville also steps up as a member of one of the Traditional Families so he’s quite a BAMF here.

FICTIONAL CHARACTER ASK: ROMEO MONTAGUE

Favorite thing about them: Oh my sweet boy, he is a sensitive poet that only wants to distance himself of violence and to share his love (for Juliet and for love itself) with the world.
Least favorite thing about them: That fact that when Tybalt kills Mercucio, he blames Juliet for “turning him affeminate” (weak) and decides to kill Tybalt in relation, believing this will prove that he is “man enough”. This obviously is the biggest mistake he ever commited.
Three things i have in common with them:
-His melancholy.
-I also can sometimes find dificult to communicate my true feelings to friends and relatives.
-I also love Juliet Capulet.
Three things i don’t have in common with them:
-Nobility status.
-Training to fight with a sword.
-I can’t improvise poetic dialogue the way he can. And i don’t have his french.
Favorite line:

Unpopular Opinion: Yes, Leonard Whiting is a good actor and he was a very good casting choice for the role of Romeo in the 1968 movie. But the cuts of many of his lines, like the one where he thinks that killing Tybalt as a regaining of honor and his dialogue with the apotecary, tones the characters actual complexity and intelligence way, way down, and is the cause of the popular misconception that Romeo is an impulsive bratty teenager.

The 100 Final Season Speculation Tag
Tagged by @iishallbelieve & @sassmasterblake , thanks ladies! I’m not one to really think a whole lot about spoilers and write meta or spec, but here it goes:
1. Which character are you most excited to learn the endgame of?
I think of course I have to say Bellamy & Clarke. I want them so badly to be alive and together for endgame. I think that it’ll be a bittersweet happiness regardless because I’m sure more will die, but if those two are alive and canon I’ll be thrilled.
I’m also excited to hear about Octavia and Murphy. I think they both are finishing their redemption arcs and because of that, they’re two that I think are in risk of dying, but I hope they don’t. I can see Murphy sacrificing himself, and thus finally having put others before himself when he has always been a ‘for himself’ survivor. Octavia I can see sacrificing herself in a grand gesture in order to make up for her actions as Bloodreina, dying in the process but finally at peace.
2. Which character are you most excited to learn the backstory of?
I haven’t heard anything regarding if we’re learning the backstory of anyone, but I’d love to hear what the deal is with Hope. I feel like backstories are rare with the 100 but I’d love to see flashbacks of literally any of the mains.
3. One character that deserves a new look?
Okay, I’m ignoring the one character thing. I personally am not a huge fan of beard/big cardigan Bellamy so I’d love to see him revert back to his style from older seasons. I think S6 showed us the opportunity for the characters to dress up or differently (e.g. Clarke, Murphy, Emori) and I’d love to see that for all of them - more “normal” clothing and less black/leather fighting clothing. But, that being said, wasn’t a fan of how S6 had characters like Raven in perfectly curled hair and makeup, that just wasn’t realistic, so less of that please.
4. Two locations you want to revisit?
More than usual, I truly don’t know what to expect with the anomoly but I think more than ever we have a shot of seeing some old places. I think JR said there isn’t time travel, but I’ve heard the idea of alternate universes and returning to Earth floating around. So that being said, I’d love a throwback to the dropship where it all began. I think it would be incredibly bittersweet especially because even going into S7 there’s only six of them left.
I’m always dying for Ark flashbacks, especially a bellarke one like this arrow/olicity one where we see one of them noticing each other or something. I’m sure we won’t get that though.
5. Three brotps you hope get more screentime.
I think there’s so many relationships that still need more closure. I’m really hoping for more talking/character development/feelings than pure fast action in this last season, although I doubt we’ll get that. But in an ideal world:
Clarke/Raven: I’m not sure if these two are really even ‘friends’ let alone brotp, but they have so many issues. I’ve read great meta by @sometimesrosy on these two about their arc and unresolved issues even dating back to Finn. It really blew up last season and I’m hoping we get more resolution than the short hug/acknowledgement from the end of last season. Would love for these two to really hash things out and grow closer.
Clarke/Murphy: Much like above, I don’t think these two were ever ‘friends’ let alone brotp, no matter how much we love team cockroach in our fics. That being said, I think they do have a lot in common and it was shocking for me to watch Murphy so unforgiving of Clarke last season after all he’s done, and then more shocking for him to not seem to care she died until he found out she was alive. Clarke is the queen of forgiveness and seems to have already forgiven him in that scene, but she deserves an apology from Murphy or at least some acknowledgement of what he did.
Bellamy/Octavia: Okay siblings are not brotp, but I’m excited to see where their arc finally ends. I absolutely loved Bellamy learning that he’s no longer responsible for her actions, even though he clearly loves her. I think it’s a fascinating relationship and I’m not on the “Octavia is a black and white abuser and evil and deserves no redemption” train that some have hopped on. I think that these two have an incredibly dysfunctional and complex relationship, with so much shared trauma and unhealthy codependence and they’ve gone on such a journey learning what that means on the ground. I think we’re almost there with their arc, but I’m exciting to see how it ends.
6. Who will get the happiest ending?
Once again, my bellarke ass hopes it’s these two. The two of them have shouldered so much trauma and always lived for others, I hope they can truly live for themselves and find some peace together.
I’d love to see Raven, Murphy, and Octavia find peace too. As I said in Q1, I think for Murphy and Octavia it might be bittersweet - finding peace at the end of the redemption arc but maybe dying in the process. I don’t see Raven dying but man that girl has been through hell, it would be nice to see her happy.
7. Which minor or new characters you want to see more of.
MILLER. Miller shouldn’t really be a minor character, but he technically is. He’s been through as much as the others - was one of the 100, the only one left from the Mt. Weather crew, resisting Pike, and then becoming part of Wonkru. But none of these things is really explored for him as a character so I would love to see that. Also, Mackson, and just Jackson in general. We don’t really know a lot about Jackson but he’s been a constant with Abby so I hope they show how he handles her death more.
8. Who will eventually snap Jordan out of the funk we see him in, at the end of 6x13.
Oh man. Honestly I have a bad feeling about what Jordan is going to go through or do, and the only reason I think he will find his way back and (probably) won’t die is because he’s marper’s kid and that would be pretty brutal for their legacy, even for the 100.
I think the obvious answer is bellarke - marper had left them in charge of everyone, but especially their son. Not to mention that bellarke has the experiences to be able to tell him why he’s going down the wrong path. BUT I don’t see that happening after S6. If anything, I think Jordan was specifically disillusioned with bellarke and blames them more for what happened in Sanctum, so I’m not sure they’re right to pull him out of it.
I think in the end it’ll be some combination of spacekru/the delinquents. It’s interesting that Jordan clearly grew up on all the stories from both their time on the ground and spacekru in space, so I think he would feel a connection to them in a sense and it would be poetic to see them be the ones to pull him out of the darkness, given who marper was to them.
I did just have an interesting thought that maybe Gabriel would be the one to talk to sense into him. He certainly has a specific experience with Sanctum and has been around a long time, so probably has some wisdom in that regard...maybe.
9. Who will be the first to tell Bellamy he can’t immediately run into the Anomaly after Octavia?
I think this depends on the timeline. I mean, if it’s immediate as in it’s possible for him to find it right away again, then I guess it would be Echo because it’s only her and Gabriel there and she obviously would feel stronger about wanting Bellamy to be safe.
But if they go back to Sanctum first and more people are pulled into the fold, it would be interesting to see. I think Murphy has some pretty strong self preservation so I can see him being straight with Bellamy about why it’s a terrible idea.
It would be interesting to see Clarke’s reaction. Nobody is more attuned to the Blake sibling relationship than her, and as seen in S6, she seems to be the only one who says what Bellamy needs to hear when it comes to Octavia, so I can see her having an influence either way. Head!Clarke may convince Bellamy to slow down and come up with a plan first, but part of me thinks that Clarke will just insist on going with Bellamy into the anomaly so at least he’s not alone if he’s diving in head first although then how would they possibly fulfill the per season Bellarke Separation™. Clarke also has Madi to think about which could prevent her from joining Bellamy.
10. To reference Monty’s ‘do better’ mantra:
I think that definitely Bellarke will continue to. They’re leaders and were the ones to continue referencing it the most in S6. But also spacekru too.
11. To say ‘go float yourself’:
Oh man, probably any of the delinquents. The original Angsty™ Ark residents who have no chill. Don’t piss those ones off.
12. Random object or prop you would bring back for S7 if you could:
I’m with @sassmasterblake in that I would love to see Jake’s watch if it’s even still around. I’m trying to remember if Clarke was wearing it in her mindspace at any point but I’m note sure.
Oh! I would love to see more of Clarke’s drawings - her notebook from S5 or even new drawings she’s done since being in Sanctum. I guess the S5 one would technically be impossible but with the anomaly nonsense I’m not counting anything out.
13. Book One storyline/reference you want to see back in S7?
I mean - book one was still pretty much the whole show. And personally I think that the show’s themes and such haven’t really changed much from book 1 to book 2, so it’s more just a reference to the overall arc the story has taken since the beginning.
I’d love more references to the general bellarke head/heart dynamic journey and all the changes that’s gone through. I’m team “believed the radio tree would somehow be related to Clarke’s 2199 calls and Bellamy would hear them” and continue to foolishly hope that we (Bellamy) hears what Clarke had said and that they talk more about this, but I think it probably concluded in 6x01.
I’m hoping that in the bittersweet ‘happy’ ending we get, there’s just a general sense of “now we get to live, not just survive” which has really been the general theme of the show. Living - and deserving it, which we began to see this season with Bellamy and Clarke attempting to do better, but that quickly fell apart.
14. Dead character you would like mentioned:
Say it with me, WELLS JAHA. I know they tried to get the actor back for Clarke’s mindspace and couldn’t because of scheduling conflicts, but I think it’s a shame he’s so rarely mentioned. Maybe it’s me writing him in fics to blame for not being able to let him go, but I think that it’s annoying how his existence in Clarke’s life has been minimized/swept aside. The story starts with them at 18 and exists only for ~7 years, but Wells was so important to Clarke for her first 18 years and I’d like to think that’s recognized.
Maybe unpopular opinion - Finn Collins. I know, Finn went crazy and he’s The Dick™ in all of our fics, but I think that he’s important for both Clarke and Raven finding peace. Both individually - Raven losing her lifelong best friend and boyfriend, first to Clarke and then to death in a horrible way. Clarke’s first “love” who isn’t acknowledged in the way Lexa continues to be, but as she said, he broke her heart. And then she had to mercy kill him. And as I said above regarding the Raven/Clarke relationship, I think it’s still something hanging between the two of them.
Obviously I’d like more Marper mentions, which I do think we’ll get, but I get irritated when the focus is all on Monty instead of Harper. Harper is her own woman and should be remembered as such.
15. How do you think Hope and Octavia know each other (from S6)?
Like the rest of the fandom, I’m guessing that Hope stabbing Octavia has a more complex/non-malicious reason behind it. They seem to be partners of sort, or share some common mission. I originally assumed the ‘him’ was an enemy to the two of them, but maybe they work under him willingly? Who knows their intentions, but they’re definitely in cahoots.
16. How do you think it will all end?
In short, I think it’s going to end in a way none of us are expecting, but these are some general things I assume will be included in the ending:
The ending will be bittersweet, but generally hopeful. I think that means that some characters will die and some will live.
I have NO clue what’s happening with bellarke. Whether there will be any formal declaration of love or if they will officially get together. Whether they both die, one of them dies and carries on the legacy of the other, or they both live and get a semblance of a happy ending. I think it’s all fair game, but the thought of one dying and one living without the other is especially heartbreaking to me.
I think Octavia will redeem herself in terms of bloodreina, which may or may not include her dying.
I think Murphy will make a selfless action to save others, which may or may not include him dying, and finish his arc from ‘I’m looking out for only me (and Emori)’ to ‘I’m putting others before myself’
I don’t know why I just feel like Raven will definitely live. Not necessarily because she’s been through so much pain that her dying seems wrong (although a little of that too), but mostly I don’t see anything in her character arc that would find some resolution from her dying. But like a lot of the fans, I was confused by her character arc for S5 and S6 and am hoping we get more clarity on her in S7.
I think Emori will live, with or without Murphy. I feel pretty 50/50 on Echo living, but am leaning towards yes. I can see Miller and/or Jackson dying as a random casualty, but like Echo I feel like they have a 50/50 chance.
I think that Gabriel will definitely die - it just feels poetic given how long he’s been alive and the harm he did. But I think he will figure out the mystery of the anomaly first. Or will maybe die because of his pursuit of the anomaly.
I think in some form or another, a group will make it back to Earth and resettle it. Like so many are speculating, I think they will get the ‘final journey to the ground,’ but I’m unsure about who ‘they’ will be. I think it’ll be a group - more than just bellarke as some are speculating. Given that bellarke has sacrificed so much for others, I don’t see them being the new Adam and Eve actually being a happy ending for them (not to mention the logistics of them not being able to just populate the Earth alone...). I think it would be very bizarre for them to have a happy ending by settling in Sactum and haven’t forgotten the words of the little girl in 6x02, “Are you hear to take us home?” That was never addressed, and feels to specific to be nothing. I think they’ll take what’s left of Wonkru, grounders, eligius, and Sanctum back to Earth, but that some people might choose to stay.
My final thought is I have no idea what TF the anomaly is or means and it feels harder than ever to speculate on S7 because of that.

Final Season Spec Game
I’m out of tag games to speculate on season 7, so here we are! I wanted to keep these questions mostly upbeat (because we all know how this show can be sometimes lol we’re in for angst for sure 😉) and there’s 16 of them, one for each remaining ep! Feel free to play along everybody… Stay safe! 💙

1. Which character are you most excited to learn the endgame of:
There’s only a handful of characters I truly care about anymore, and there will always be one that rises above the rest -
Obviously next season is going to feature the Anomaly in a big way, and since that whole thing seems deeply connected to Octavia, I think we can safely assume that this will be a big season for her. I hope she makes it out alive, but on some level, I won’t be surprised if she doesn’t. Going out in a blaze of glory was always more her style. I think that’s true even now.
2. Which character are you most excited to learn the backstory of:
I’m definitely curious about Hope Diyoza. The fact that she and Octavia appeared to know each other in the s6 finale has huge implications. And I’m sure her life has been really fuckin’ interesting - with a mother like Charmaine, how couldn’t it be?
3. One character who deserves a new look:
Madi!
She’s not a scrappy forest child anymore, nor is she a Baby Warlord. I’d love to see her in anything but leather (or a hospital gown, yikes.) I don’t know how central to the main plot she’ll be, since she no longer has The Flame, but I do hope we get to see something about her trying to become a semi-normal kid.
4. Two locations you want to revisit:
If I had my druthers, I’d love to see the Dropship again. It was such a central location in the first two seasons, and one of the things that’s been tough for me since the second Praimfaya has been how we lost all those iconic locations.
I also really loved the look of Shallow Valley aka Eden. A very cute, aesthetically pleasing location, gone too soon.
5. Three brotps you hope get more screentime:
Octavia and Diyoza!
(Technically a Brot3 but just try and stop me!) Raven, Murphy, and Emori!
Raven and Echo!
6. Who will get the happiest ending:
Honestly a tough call, because I don’t know if anyone will truly get a “happy” ending. If I had to guess, Raven and Echo are actually pretty high up there. As long as they both survive the season, I think they’ll finally find some peace on the other side.
7. Which minor or new characters you want to see more of:
Given that Jordan was a series regular last season, we saw a LOT less of him than I expected. I think he’s going to be an unexpected antagonist in the final season, which should be a lot of fun.
8. Who will eventually snap Jordan out of the funk we see him in, at the end of 6x13:
Agh, I don’t know. He didn’t really get a chance to connect with any of his parents’ old friends, did he? The deepest connection he made was with Delilah, and she’s dead and gone - but I don’t think he believes that, I think he’s fully swallowed the Sanctum juice at this point. I could maybe see Raven snapping him out of it, or Bellamy. If it’s not them, it’ll definitely be some message from Marper somehow. Or, tragically, he won’t make it out of the funk. I’ll be really mad if that happens, given who his namesake was. The Jordan curse.
9. Who will be the first to tell Bellamy he can’t immediately run into the Anomaly after Octavia:
Oddly enough, my money is on Hope. And I think Bellamy will immediately distrust her and try to go anyway, but Echo will ultimately stop him.
10. To reference Monty’s ‘do better’ mantra:
I’d like to hear it from Murphy, to be honest, or Emori. I don’t think it was necessarily Clarke’s right to take so much ownership of that one, last season.
11. To say 'go float yourself’:
I hope I hear it from the mouth of every single (former) Delinquent, lmao. It’d actually be hilarious if someone like Emori or Echo said it, though. Show how it’s left the Ark as slang and entered the general parlance.
12. Random object or prop you would bring back for Season 7 if you could:
Lexa’s throne/Clarke’s walking stick. I really fuckin’ loved that little callback, y’all. Clarke leaning on a piece of Lexa to make it through her time in isolation - ugh, murder me. Even if it isn’t a major plot point, I’d like to see it in the background somewhere. I don’t think it made it off Earth, though.
13. Book One storyline/reference you want to see back for Season 7:
We’ve got 16 episodes, right? Bring back my funny fillers! I know they weren’t common, and weren’t 100% funny, but I’d love to see an episode like “Day Trip” again.
14. Dead character you would like mentioned:
Lincoln, Anya, and Nyko. Pay respect to the OG grounders. Even if it’s just in passing.
15. How do you think Hope and Octavia know each other (from season 6):
There’s been a lot of speculation about what this face was meant to imply -
Personally, when I look at Octavia’s face, I see an entire goddamn story. It’s a story I might fully be projecting, but I’m going with my gut until proven otherwise. Octavia helped raise Hope. When she sees her, she looks at her the way one might a kid they haven’t seen in a long time - there’s surprise, tenderness, pride. A moment of almost not recognizing her, then realization that’s she’s the a kid she loves, all-grown-up now, and that’s what makes her emotional.
My other theory is that Octavia didn’t remember Hope at all until she saw her, which is why she looks confused, then surprised, then happy. She’s suddenly remembering a person who is very important to her, who she had forgotten (likely due to the timey-wimey/doorway weirdness of the Anomaly) and all of her memories coming back is what causes this reaction.
I’m reasonably certain that there won’t be any romantic attachment between them. As much as I’d love it, I just don’t see the show making Octavia explicitly sapphic so late in the game. One of the consequences of trying to create a world where sexual orientation doesn’t matter is that the writers tend to beat us over the head with what type of person each character is attracted to - that’s why we see Clarke and Niylah together multiple times, and why Clarke and Cillian got together. The writers want us to remember, always, without subtlety, that Clarke likes both men and women.
We just haven’t seen any real clues that Octavia is attracted to women. As much as I’m pulling for it, it’s clear that the writers intend her relationship with Niylah to be platonic.
So, given all of that, I just don’t think Hope and Octavia will be a romantic couple.
That only leaves us with so many options - either they were friends or like family. Given the weirdness of Diyoza going into the Anomaly pregnant and her fully grown daughter stepping out of it three days later, my money is on like family. I think Octavia and Diyoza raised Hope together in the Anomaly, somehow, and that’s how they know each other.
16. How do you think it all will end?:
I think it will have a lot to do with the backdoor pilot, how much that retcons, and how committed they are to giving this show a satisfying ending when they’ve already creatively moved on to a new world.
If I pretend I don’t know about the backdoor pilot, I’m even less sure. I’m hoping for a satisyfing ending. Not a happy one. I don’t think that would be true to the series.
I’m betting either Clarke or Bellamy dies, and my money has been on Bellamy for awhile. Call it a gut feeling.
I think almost everyone else will survive. We’ve lost a lot of people along the way in this show, and I think they’ll give us one Big Death of the season, so that death has the greatest impact. And since I’m betting on it being Bellamy, well... that means I’m pretty sure everyone else will make it.
There’s been a lot of little background info dropped about how impossible life on Sanctum is without constant maintenance, and most if not all of that maintenance came from the more-or-less free labor of the people serving the Primes. It’s impossible to know how things will go in terms of Emori and Murphy being Primes now, and how long that will last. Because of that, and because of the “doorway” to another world that the Anomaly allegedly is, I’m betting Sanctum is not our final destination. I’m thinking we’ll end up on Earth again, somehow.
I hope it ends with everyone who survives together, and happy, and with a plan for a sustainable society that doesn’t murder each other every two months.

The 100 Final Season Speculation Tag
Tagged by @goddess-clarke and @burninghoneyatdusk! I almost never speculate on future events, but here goes nothing. This is more a “if all the stars aligned and I got what I wanted” type of spec more than “this is what I actually think is going to happen” spec. Just to clarify.
1. Which character are you most excited to learn the endgame of?
Clarke and Bellamy. They’re the two main characters that I honestly still care about.
2. Which character are you most excited to learn the backstory of?
I wouldn’t mind if they did more Ark flashbacks. They kept emphasizing that Clarke and Bellamy did NOT meet up on the Ark for whatever reason, but what if they had?
3. One character that deserves a new look?
Bellamy. Get rid of the long hair and dad cardigan please. And give Clarke a new outfit please.
4. Two locations you want to revisit?
The Dropship. Whether it be in a memory or flashback or somehow through the anomaly, that was the show’s original heart, in my opinion.
TBH, Earth in general. As much as Sanctum is pretty cool, I miss Earth.
5. Three brotps you hope get more screentime.
Uhhh...I’m trying to think of any and I’m drawing a blank. They killed off all the characters I love besides Clarke and Bellamy. Probably an unpopular opinion but I don’t really care about the rest of Spacekru besides Bellamy because Marper is dead. Okay I take that back. Emori is fine. But Raven, Murphy, and E.cho? Nah fam.
If I could have ANY brotps get screentime this season (due to the anomaly, etc.):
1. Wells/Clarke
2. Monty/Harper/Clarke
3. Miller/Clarke
Can you see that I just want some friends for Clarke? Some REAL friends?

Clarke deserves her happy ending for once. And that happy ending involves finally being with Bellamy.

I wouldn’t mind seeing more Miller and/or Gabriel.
8. Who will eventually snap Jordan out of the funk we see him in, at the end of 6x13.
I don’t really know tbh. I guess Bellamy or Clarke? Who knows. Maybe Madi.

Immediately? E.cho. I could see Clarke trying to maybe talk him out of it, but then when he won’t budge, she follows him in there. I’m thinking like their dumb 3x12 plan where they’d rather be stupid together than apart.

We’ve literally already seen this with Bellarke. “For Monty.”
11. To say ‘go float yourself’:
I could see Murphy saying it. Or maybe Octavia.
12. Random object or prop you would bring back for S7 if you could:
I thought about this earlier and agree with @burninghoneyatdusk. I would love to see Jake’s watch, if for no other reason than to bring Clarke a bit of comfort.
13. Book One storyline/reference you want to see back in S7?
It’s never going to happen, but I want Bellamy to know that:
a. Clarke has tried to kill herself MULTIPLE TIMES and
b. E.cho tried to kill Clarke and Raven did nothing to stop her.
It still bothers me that his girlfriend and family tried to kill Clarke after knowing how much she meant to Bellamy and how he still doesn’t know about it.
14. Dead character you would like mentioned:
Wells Jaha. If we get a seasonal reminder of L, we at least should get a mention of Clarke’s best friend.
15. How do you think Hope and Octavia know each other (from S6)?
They met up in the anomaly somehow. I don’t really care enough to think hard about it.
16. How do you think it will all end?
I don’t actually want to predict how it will end. I tend to enjoy things more if I don’t have any expectations.
But if it were up to me, obviously Bellarke would be endgame. And I honestly wouldn’t mind if it ended up being some type of simulation. Or if they go through the anomaly somehow and get a do-over back on Earth. But that’s just me.
Who hasn’t done this yet? I’ve been off tumblr for a couple days rewatching Korra with my sister, so I haven’t been paying attention. If you haven’t done this yet, tag you’re it!

Edward sat back in his chair, his legs propped on his desk and his right arm covering his eyes. It was a lazy day for his class, which was extremely odd for his students. They had never seen their teacher act in such a manner and they were all at odds on how to approach him.
Should they ask him point blank?
No. Mr. Elric's bark equals his bite.
Tricking Mr. Elric say his problem?
No. Mr. Elric will see through that and turn it back against them.
Go tell Professor Snape of Mr. Elric's change of mood?
Yes. That is the safest option they could come up with at that moment. If anyone could get Mr. Elric back on his feet is Professor Snape. Unless Professor Snape is the reason for the change of behavior... Anyway, it's better off to be safe than sorry.
Edward stayed in that same position for the remainder of the class time and almost throughout the entire day. His class had left after they sent him several worried looks before they scurried off to lunch. It wasn't until the door creaked open is when he lifted his hand away from his face to see who it was. "Zefferus."
Severus walked into the partially empty classroom, closing the door behind himself, and walked over towards the Alchemy teacher. "Edward."
Edward blinked several times and some sort of realization appeared on his expression. He placed his legs back down on the ground and he stretched around in his seat to regain some sort of feeling back into his body. The Golden Blonde blinked lazily at Severus once said man stood in front of his desk. "Did my students tattle on me?"
"You missed lunch and you didn't go to the kitchens for food."
"House elves tattled on me?"
"Mr. Elric." Severus stated flatly, he gave the Alchemy Teacher a deadpan expression, not at all amused.
Edward stared at Severus with a blank expression before he let out a tired sigh which he quickly covered up with a smile. He stood up from his spot and headed towards Severus with a nervous chuckle as he rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry, I am reminiscing of the past."
Severus snorted, he signaled for Edward to leave the classroom. "I have forty-five minutes until my next class and I need to make sure you are properly feeding. You have a tendency of skipping meals."
"Me? Skipping meals? No~" Edward guffawed out, he waved at Severus dismissively at such notion. He walked passed the Potion's Master to head over to leave the classroom to go to the kitchens. "Come on, let's see if they have made any apple pies...I still have to get Winry to send over her recipe. Hey, you wouldn't have some of that whiskey?"
"It's only Wednesday..."
"Exactly."

"Truth...my head..." Edward grumbled under his breath, he rested his head on the main table in the Grand Hall. It was breakfast time and nothing was helping him deal with a hammering headache. After a night of drinking with Severus to get a remaining memory to temporarily forget. It did not help that Filius later joined in and challenged him and Severus to a drinking game. The winner ended up being Severus as he is the only one that appears to be unaffected by what had happened last night. Said main is just sitting there...drinking whatever the hell he is drinking... Not even hunching over in pain... "I hate you..."
"I know." Severus responded over his steaming beverage. He reached over and pushed a steaming beverage over to the Golden Blonde. "Drink, it will help with the aftereffects."
"Does it have milk?"
"No."
Edward grumbled under his breath as he reached over to take the beverage. "Bastard."
"I know."
Edward sat up straight and cursed under his breath when he felt his bones snap back into place. Smacking his lips together, the Golden Blonde sniffed the beverage before taking a sip. Seeing that he hadn't died by that single sip, he drowned the drink down. He shook his head at the peculiar taste. Whatever he just drank sure helped him with that head...ache. "You created something to get rid of the pain did you not?"
That slight twitch on Severus's lips that caused Edward to frown and curse under his breath at how unfair he was. "Cheater, cheater, pumpkin eater."
"Oh, how childish of you to say such a thing." Severus said coolly.
"Shut up." Edward snorted, he reached over towards his plate of food and picked at it. He glanced around the Grand Hall to do a quick survey of the area. His brows furrowed at what he saw, groups were huddled together whispering or gloating rather too loudly for his taste. The main subject of today... "What is Quidditch?"
"Hm?"
"Quidditch? I have heard my students talk about it, but never really paid any mind to it." Edward asked Severus with a blank expression. "Vell?"
"It's a magical sport played on magical flying brooms."
"Zounds boring."
"You should at least watch a game... My house has tryouts today, you should come." Severus encouraged Edward.
Edward eyed Severus warily, this was not a side he was used to seeing. He was acting prideful but not in his typical way. It then that familiar spark he had seen from a man from another life. With a snort, Edward picked up a muffin and munched on it. "Fine, I vill see how this game is."

"Dis is...unbelievable." Edward was in complete and utter awe at what was he was seeing in front of him. There they are, kids using brooms to zooming around doing whatever was needed for them to do. Three of this students are on the team and one is trying out for the position of...Keeper? "And ridiculous...Vat the Truth are dey supposed to be doing?"
"Are there any type of sports in Amestris?"
"No, it's primary focus is on the Military."
"...Of course..."
Edward eyebrows flew up at seeing one of his students, Terence Higgs, and Slytherin's Seeker, nosedived down towards the earth. He swore his heart stopped and restart itself when Terence grabbed something before he pulled back up at the last minute. "What did he grab?"
"The Golden Snitch, catching it will end the game and give the given team 150 points."
Edward scratched his head wondering about the game. "Tell me more about... Quidditch."

"What do you mean ve get a two-week break?" Edward stated over his cup of hot tea. He had the Daily Prophet in his free hand. The magical newspaper kept on mentioning a holiday the Golden Blonde had never seen or heard before. He had mentioned it to Severus and what really got his attention is the fact there is a two-week vacation for...Christmas and New Year. "Zefferus? Vat is Christmas?"
Edward curious expression went from that to complete dissatisfaction. A religious holiday. That explains some things, a lot of things. New Years is a far more understandable reason for a holiday. Eh, he could argue about the holiday but what good will that come from it. He already has everyone around him change their view in terms of Magic that comes to Alchemy. Plus, this is more of a personal belief and...being with people you care about sounds...nice. "Amestris...does not have any sort of National Holidays, expect if dey are connected to the Military. Religion is practiced but not widely known or recited. Growing up, ve had seasonal festivities to celebrate the new season.... Maybe dey have something like this..."
The last part Edward said was more to himself than to Severus. Severus waited for Edward to continue his train of thought but he did not continue it.
"Should I go visit Winry...?" Edward absentmindedly picked up a piece of toast and munched on it. He thought about what he should do for that two weeks. Then grabbed a napkin to spit out the food into it. "Ugh...what should Mustang think of that? I hate how much I have to think about the Military now ven I do things."
"You did not think about the Military before you became a teacher?"
"In my defense...the Old Man mentioned a library..."
"Of course..."
"Why don't you have a class trip to Amestris?"
Edward and Severus stopped mid-argument' to turn to see Filius looking at Edward expectantly. Then they looked at each other, back at Filius, back at each other and finally back at Filius. By now, Filius looked extremely uncomfortable in his seat and shifted to release some of the tension that seemed to fill the air. "This could help them have a better understanding if they go somewhere which Alchemy is done more freely. Imagine what they could learn?"
"Filius does have a point." Severus agreed with the tiny professor.
Edward his fingers against the table, deep in thought. "I could... It would make things easier..."
Filius and Severus looked at Edward waiting patiently for his response. By now, Edward's students began to whisper among themselves about said instructor's behavior. That only happens if something huge about to occur.
"I vill have to talk to my superiors and students." Edward finally agreed, he folded up the Daily Prophet and plopped it on the table. "We could go to Central and visit the library. Or have Mustang and Armstrong throw on a show or something... But you two have to come with me when I tell this to the Old Goat. We have to go through him."
"Still not in speaking terms with him?"
"It iss not zat. I am afraid I will ruin it for my students by saying or doing something sdubid." Edward deadpanned, he picked up a biscuit and munched on it roughly.
"You won't say or do anything stupid." Filius waved off Edward's worry.
Edward swallowed the remainder of his food, he stood up and leaned over the table to get a better view of Dumbledore. "Oi! Old Man!"
Complete and utter silence filled the Grand Hall, everyone turned their attention to Edward and Dumbledore and said old man turned his attention to the Alchemy teacher. Severus had facepalmed at Edward lack of tact and the fact he just proved Filius wrong. "Yes?"
"Filius, Zefferus and I have to talk to you later about something."
Once Dumbledore agreed, Severus reached up and yanked Edward down by his vest to make him sit back down. "Your level of stupidity still astounds me to no limits."
"Wow...that was deep." Edward sniffled mockingly, he placed his hands over his heart. He wiped away a mock tear to add extra emphasize. "Thank you."

"Last night, I had asked the Old Man for a possibility of having a trip to Amestris during the winter break..." Edward informed one of his classes of the week, he was leaning against him with his arms crossed over his chest. The students, which mostly compromised of Terence Higgs, Fred Weasley, and George Weasley. The other two students left for other reasons, one left due to focusing on their O.W.L. and the other one had to focus primarily on their N.E.W.T.s. They still wanted to continue learning Alchemy, but they had priorities and Edward completely understood that. He would often send them packets filled with work and riddles, they show interest and skill for it, why not? Plus, it will help in the long run of helping them have a broader mindset in the long run. "For dis to be possible, I have to get permission from my superiors and the... Ministry of Magic."
The twins looked at each other with worried expressions. Their family had a small trip planned during the break and this trip is something they had planned for years. Talk about timing...
Terence on the other hand, he is looking forward to the trip. His parents had planned to visit relatives, said relatives he does not want to associate himself with. He just needed a decent excuse this time around, pretended of getting sick or excessive homework lost its charm after the seventh time.
"I need you three to inform your legal guardians, caretaker or parents if you vould like to come with me to Amestris for the break." Edward continued, he pointed at Terence when the Slytherin raised his hand. "Terence?"
"What would happen in Amestris? What would we be doing?" Terence asked.
"The main objective is to learn about Alchemy, without the interference of magic. I started to learn alchemy at a very young age-"
"How young?"
"Four.... five...ish. I did not officially start my training when I was about eight...the best and worst mistake of my life. That is a story for another time." Edward laughed out the last part when he saw the looks of amazement and horror on his student's faces. "The main idea is to have a couple of my friends in the Military perform their Alchemy, to see what they could do after years of learning and training. After that...campi-"
A soft knock interrupted Edward explanation, the Alchemy Teacher called out to whoever was on the other side to enter. Said man ended up being Dumbledore, he is holding a letter in his hand that had the seal of the Ministry of Magic. To be more precise, the current head of the Ministry of Magic. "My apologies for this disruption, Mr. Elric?"
Edward looked back at his students and cleared his throat. "I vill keep all of you updated of dis. Dismissed."
The three students picked up their belongings and quickly left the classroom. Edward watched them leave the class and once he heard the audible lock when the doors closed behind him, he turned his attention to the Headmaster. "Vat did dey say?"
"They agree to the idea...under a couple of conditions." Dumbledore responded, he walked over to Edward and handed him the letter. "The conditions."
Edward kept an eye on the Old Man as he opened the letter and only looked away to scan its contents. He grumbled at the conditions that were written, a couple of them were completely understandable and that included on the condition of Amestris agreeing to the idea and that this will help things go easier between them and the British Ministry of Magic. Edward had already sent a letter through Xerxes to see what Colonel Bastard had to say about the trip. The Golden Blonde reached over at his desk and picked up a small stack of papers and a binder clip to keep them together. "Dis should zadisfy their hunger for now."
Dumbledore took the packet of paper with curious eyes, with his free hand, he fiddled with the binder clip. "Curious. This keeps them together?"
Edward raised his hands into the air in defeat, here he was thinking for sure Dumbledore will scan the papers but no...he was more interested in the binder clip. A binder clip. "Truth!"

"Today's the first Quidditch game, right?"
"What gave it away? The Gryffindor's screaming their heads off at the minimal chance they have of beating Slytherin? "
"No... vell...zat too, the fact that apparently, Slytherin has been reigning champs for the last couple of years." Edward responded over his an old book of maps he had found in the library. He pulled out a leather bookmark from his vest to place it on the book to save his spot. Before Edward could put away the book to start eating his breakfast, Owls started to fly into the Great Hall. "Oh look...mail is-"
Plunk. Plunk.
Edward took in a deep breath when he felt two items drop on his head and flutter down onto his lap. He turned his attention to Xerxes who started to eat his breakfast, to be more precise, bacon. "Xerxes."
"Hoot."
"That is my bacon."
"Hoot."
"Xerxes. That. Is. My. Bacon."
"Hoot. Hoot. Hoot."
"DAMMIT XERXES!"
"Hoot~"
"Grrrrrrr...Evil..."
"Hoot!"
"Zefferus! She called me a bad word!" Edward gasped out, he looked at Severus with an expression of shock. He pointed at the smug little owl, which was still eating Edward's breakfast.
"Do not include me in your petty argument." Severus deadpanned, not even bothering to glance their way.
"Petty?" Edward huffed out; he crossed his arms over his chest.
"Hoot?" Xerxes glanced up; it almost appeared like she was
"Well then, here I zought you were my friend."
"Hoot, hoot."
"Yeah, you are ri...HEY!"
Severus pinched the bridge of his nose to drown out the argument between Edward and Xerxes. After counting down to ten for what seemed like several hundred times, Severus reached over to smacked Edward upside the head and flick Xerxes beak lightly. "Enough. What arrived, Mr. Elric?"
Edward humph, he picked up the letters and his entire expression lightened when he saw who wrote one of the letters. He bit his bottom lip while he stared at the letter and mentally debated whether or not he should open that one or the other one. With a sigh, he put that letter in his vest and paid attention to another letter. It was a letter from Colonel Bastard himself. Opening the letter, Edward scanned through the contents and he couldn't stop himself from grinning.

So, let’s see, I have 24 works so far, so that should work. A mix between Malec and Saphael.
1. “In retrospective, Magnus should have thought this through. Mixing his life with a demon wasn’t the best idea one could have and agreeing to some kind of deal that involved sex was foolish at best but Magnus didn’t care. He just wanted this.” From my angel!Magnus, demon!Alec ongoing series. (Is it desire?)
2. “Raphael looked around him, the pleased and content faces of the people of New York, the bustling of energy and determination knowing they were doing something good tonight. It was going to get colder tonight and while Raphael couldn't shelter for all of them, at least he could do this: provide food for the nights to come.” This one was before 2x17, about that Saphael sneak peak when they were talking in the shelter (?) with my own twists. (Unspeakable truth)
3. “Magnus slammed against the wall, hands immediately on his hips, not letting him move.” Same series I said before, also kinda love how I started this one, not gonna lie. (There’s no way)

I think this was a meet-cute in the AU *universe* and that I turned it into a series too. Also, Salec brotp vibes in this one (You and me, how that sounds?)

My first WIP that wouldn’t be finished if it wasn’t for my beta ( @wewalkadifferentpath babe what’s good). This one is based from a movie that I liked so much I turned it into Malec and Saphael. This is mainly Saphael, fluff and happiness all around, what they deserve. (One Big Happy Family)

It was his last year.“ A high school AU, a funny one because I can’t do serious stuff. Based only from one line “too tall to be gay” from another story- credits given of course (#TooTallToBeGay)

He left!"” *ahem* This one is a bunch of all my guilty pleasures in one with comedy on the side and UST vibes. Like, I don’t even follow people that likes this stuff- that I’m aware of- but it’s there, it’s good. I like how it ended and people liked it too, so there’s that. (X2CU)
16. “In all honestly, Alec loved working as a barista and while a lot of customers could be a pain in his ass, there were some that had lighten up his days and those tranquil moments where the coffee shop was quiet, he would stand there and just enjoy the smell of freshly brewed coffee. Black coffee with a lot of sugar was his weakness.“ A meet-cute sort of thing, barista!Alec, lawyer!Magnus. No chill whatsoever (Large frappuccino for the cutest guy on sight)

ok... i have some thoughts about endgame.
(apologies, these are in no particular order and are very rambling. my brain still hurts from crying).
so unfortunately i was spoiled for tony’s death because i happened to go on tumblr at 4am on thursday morning. i had planned on avoiding all internet things until friday night when i saw the movie but i didn’t think i’d have to start quite that early. it was fully tagged so it was my own fault.
BUT. knowing definitely didn’t make things easier. if anything it was harder because i’m not even joking, anytime tony came on screen i started to cry a bit.
and speaking of crying, who said it was ok to start on the note of watching clint lose his entire family. WHAT THE FUK. so like, right off the bat i’m crying. (let’s not kid ourselves, the crying started when the lion king trailer played beforehand).
ok, where to start. the earth losing half its population would in no way look like the ghost town that they portrayed. and like, somehow losing half the people turned it into a shit hole? not how i see it going, but there are more important things to talk about.
the pacing of the whole movie felt off. the beginning was super rushed with getting tony back etc and then suddenly it’s been five years... understandable in some senses but you had tHREE HOURS TO WORK WITH.
also, i get it, you don’t want to be like ~those other time travel movies, but you at least have to stick with the explanation you picked. it can be super outlandish, i don’t give a crap, but you have to be consistent.
wasn’t really a fan of the hulk/banner thing. (i did like that he accepted that part of himself BUT) mark is an amazing actor, LET ME SEE HIS FACE. motion capture is never going to come even close.
natasha killed me this time around. losing part of her found family and then having the rest of it fall apart because everyone is upset... struggling to keep it together alone. fukkkkkkk. the soul stone scene really ripped my heart out when i didn’t think that it would. clintxnatasha really are my brotp for life. she gave up everything for her family and iT HURTS.
also seeing thor so broken reallllly hurt. i just want my bb to be happy.
sidenote, i never really shipped stony but... wow. they really went for it this time. which made the whole pining over peggy business feel kind of discordant for me. (not when he was in the past and saw her, because obvs that would be hard, but the rest of the movie).
i really did enjoy the time shenanigans because, come on, who wouldn’t. which is why i was hoping for an ending that would use that in some way? because even if it was just a ridiculously convenient, in a, doctor-strange-“i created a time loop, yay everything is fixed”-sort-of-thing, i still would’ve preferred that to what they went with.
like... i can’t be the only one who really didn’t need another gratuitous giant battle right? where the assistance just randomly shows up at the last second... like really? out of all those alternate timelines, the only one that worked is the one where you literally just let them do their thing and then show up randomly? really? there wasn’t anything else you could’ve done? we already had this battle in infinity war. (also i’m sorry to those that liked the Women Only scene but it felt super pandering to me).
i really wish they’d gone with the vanished being in another timeline/universe/purgatory etc etc instead of just, oh ya, they actually died and now they’re suddenly back. because having them back was really jarring and i didn’t feel as satisfied as i wanted to when they did return? like... all i wanted was a peter/tony reunion and it just felt weird. if they’d had some scenes of the vanished interspersed in the film, trying to help/figure out how to get back, maybe i would’ve felt differently. (not to say i didn’t sob like a baby when they hugged anyways).
i loved that tony saved them all. i really do. but did he have to die for it? have him forever changed, lose the use of his arm, or something but you can’t just sHOW ME TONY BEING A FATHER AND HAVING A FAMILY WHICH IS ALL HE EVER WANTED AND THEN TAKE IT ALL AWAY. ALL HE WANTED WAS TO REST FMLLLLLL (also morgan is the cutest little angel and all i needed was tony teaching her mechanics and uGH NO I’M NOT GOING TO CRY AGAIN)
and the whole steve thing... i don’t even ship stucky but i really don’t think he would’ve gone back to be with peggy and just... ditch? but whatever.
ultimately, it was an ok movie. after such a massive buildup of years worth of films it was never going to live up to expectations. i don’t think any movie could. but it definitely could’ve been a lot better imo.

Well, now I have to know: Elros! (Assuming you’re still up for this, of course.)
OK, the headcanons section is going to be pretty easy, but I shall have to watch myself like a hawk to only mention canonical things about him…
favorite thing about them
The fact that he seems to have got All The Family Stuff. He went off to Numenor with the Ring of Barahir, the Axe of Tuor, the Bow of Bregor and Thingol’s sword Aranrúth. Elrond doesn’t seem to have kept any of it!
least favorite thing about them
The fact that we know so little about him! I wish Tolkien had written a debate between Elrond & Elros about their respective choices.
I’d like to know something about his wife, too. And something about the early years of Numenor, apart from the fact that he got a lot of presents. It must have been so STRANGE for him to live in Numenor surrounded by people who had lives perhaps a quarter of the length of his initially, and you feel that to the Edain he must have seemed in some ways more like an Elf than a Man.

I think this is particularly fascinating when it comes to Elros. There’s lots to explore in terms of Elrond’s relationship with Maglor, of course, but although Elros chose Men and went off into the West, and named his children more obviously for the Valar than Elrond, we are still told that Maglor loved him and he loved Maglor too.
I find it interesting that while Elrond seems to have carefully avoided using a title or becoming a king, Elros had no reservations about that at all, and as well as becoming king of Numenor, he names himself ‘High First-Lord’ and begins the tradition of tagging ‘High’ onto the names of all the Kings. There’s little obviously Feanorian about Elros, but you wonder if he inherited a certain Feanorian pride? I tend to think of him as perhaps closer to Maedhros than Elrond was.

Hmm. Elrond seems obvious, but Elros did after all decide to leave Middle-earth and Elrond behind. So, what about Finarfin?
Elros must surely have known him during the War of Wrath, and perhaps he visited Numenor regularly: given how long Elros lived, and that for most of his life Numenor was not in contact with Middle-earth, he must have had friends among the Elves of Aman. And Elros chose Men. That seems like something that Finrod’s dad would be interested in. (Unless, of course, Finrod himself…? The Valar generally seem to be against reborn people leaving Aman twice (except Glorfindel), so I’m not sure about that, but it seems likely that a reborn Finrod would have been over there to have a chat with Elros like a shot if he was allowed to.
(Now I have a mental vision of a slightly embarrassed Amarie turning up on Numenor with an entire notebook of questions that Finrod has begged her to go and ask Elros… :-D )
OTP : it would be his wife if we knew anything about her (though I think from the date of the birth of his first child, she was probably born on Numenor.) But in the absence of even a name, I think I’ll have to go for Unknown.
nOTP : Elrond, Maglor, Maedhros.
A random headcanon
I feel Elros must have participated in the War of Wrath. Canon says that the Edain were involved in that war. It was 42 years long, and by the end of it Elros was in his fifties. I cannot see a people who have just been involved in a long painful war accepting a king who was adult and had kept out of it. So I think he was the Edain commander, and that by the time they went to Numenor, he had already done a lot of the work in terms of bringing the various Edain groups together.

PSYCHO PASS Questionnaire
Ciao!
First of all, thank you @white-queen-lacus (and @whatsyourcolor) for tagging me. Sorry if I answer so late but work has been really demanding and season 3 announcement has been the last straw to my gastritis, so I’ve been out of myself for more than a week.
Anyway, this has given me the chance to read all of your interesting opinions and I must say that I share a good part of them. Soooo, here we go!
Top Three Favourite Characters:
Kougami Shinya & Tsunemori Akane (I like each one of them at the same level for different reasons, but they always come together for me)
NO ONE. If there are two people on the top, the second place is empty.
Karanomori Shion, Kagari Shusei and Sasayama (btw, Kagari and Sasayama are on the top of my “You shouldn’t have died” list, even if, Sasayamakun, I’m sorry but your death gave start to Psycho-pass so it’s unavoidable)
And here I am, breaking the rules, because the title said 3 fav characters. 3 is reductive when speaking of Psycho pass.

Five Favourite Ships (Canon or Not):
Shinkane, there’s no doubt about it. They are perfect together, in every possible way, in every possible feature, in every possible direction you look at them.
Kunikara (Shion x Yayoi)..and same as shinkane for the reason. They are that kind of couple with different temper/physical appearance/ behavior that makes them just perfect together.
Gino X Risa. The ship that never sailed. I didn’t have the time to wink and say….hey 😉😉😉, what’s going on here? That the poor Risa was already blood spray on the floor. Dramatic!
No other couples…I’m not a shipper of non canon couples, I only ship couples where I sense love.
If BROTP counts, I would ship Kougami x Sasayama, the best BROTP, and Gino x Sugou.
Character I find Most Attractive:
Ok, no game for anyone here. Kougami is the male most attractive character of the series, even if Gino, jealous of that title, must have ordered that new cool ponytail cut to the hairdresser. And Sugou, he is something for sure (and so sweet!!! 😆😆)
And for the girls, even if Shion is explosive and Yayoi is the ice princess, Akane is and will always be my queen. That short haircut, the slender neck that neither a swan would rival, the chocolate eyes, her beautiful face, the slim figure…in a word, the grace personified. There’s only one way we can call her: A GLAMOUROUS WOMAN. Does this recall you something???? 😉😉😉
Character I Would Marry:
No comment here. I already have a wedding ring on my finger.
Character I Would Be Best Friends With:
Akane and Kagari. Great cooking/drinking time and a lot of videogames.
A Random Thought:
All my thoughts are projected to the next year. But if we want to talk about the past….when I saw the images of the first episode in season two, the one with the bomber, seeing his blue eyes, I thought it was Kougami come back to challenge Sibyl (and I have to admit my idea had been influenced by a fic I was reading at that time). That was obviously my inconscious-not-too-inconscious me who wanted to see Kougami again and was worried about him for all the second season. Every episode I was like…where is Kougami? Why he isn’t here? Why hasn’t he come back? Has something happened to him? Nooo, Tougane!!! Stay away from Akane (this wame while watching the gym scene. The damned authors used the same flirty music they used in season one gym scene)
An unpopular opinion:
I know that many like to ship Kou with Sasayama, but there wasn’t anything like that between them (you should read pp zero to see it), Sasayama was like a big bro to Kougami and vice, this makes them a perfect BROTP for me.
About unpopular opinions… @lefterstein like your theory very much. I take the liberty of quoting it here:
“I used to theorize about how we perceive Shinkane as not canon bc we haven’t seen them do stuff, but that for all we (don’t) know they might’ve been secretly doing stuff hahaha like I wouldn’t be too surprised if it were to be revealed that they have done stuff all along. hence my answer for the next 2 questions”
God knows if they did something or not, anyway, despite people treating Akane as a pure and innocent kid, she was WELL AWARE of Kougami’s physique, like we openly saw in the gym episode and we read in the final part of the psycho pass book, when she looks sleeping Kougami and the author indulges on his look described by Akane’s memory. I’m stills screaming inside.

A Pairing I’m Not A Fan Of:
All the invented pairings, but the most illogical is Kougami x Makishima. Kougami moved earth and hell to be able to kill him and threw away ALL that he kept as precious and someone still ships them? Mm, ok….(I’m turning my head away)
A character that is screwed up:
I partially share @whatsyourcolor idea that all people in PP are screwed up except Akane. Though I would say that all the inspectors and enforcers are screwed up in PP. Considering what enforcers went through before taking their place in MWPSB and the pressure the inspectors have to face to keep the enforcers at their place, resolve cases, etc. none of them is fully sane mentally. Even Akane, she hallucinates about Kou, she smokes just to keep Kou’s scent on her, she talks with the dead images of Yuki, Masaoka, Kagari and Makishima. None is safe, only the happy, unaware citizen with a healthy PP.
Favourite Friendship:
Akane and Kagari. They were so sweet to look.

Title: Genuflects and Pixie Sticks (9/?)
Who: Ketch, Gabriel, Sam, Dean and Jack
What: Ketch lives and could use a drink. So could Gabriel.
Word Count: 875
Warnings: None
The first thing that struck Ketch as he woke up is that, well, he woke up.
The second thing that struck Ketch as he woke up is that nothing hurt, not even old lingering injuries that had never quite healed up properly.
“Sleeping beauty,” Gabriel said as he set a copy of Busty Asian Beauties aside. “I was starting to think you’d never wake up.”
“Nor did I. How long was I out?”
“Almost a day. The extent of your injuries made Jack sad, by the way. Dean grumbled about your blood staining the lovely tile wiles.
“So he does care,” Ketch joked dryly. He wrinkled his nose at his shirt. As he peeled it off, he asked, “Are you okay?”
Gabriel’s façade of normalcy broke, if only for a few seconds. “I’m alive. Asmodeus isn’t.” He shrugged. “It’s a great day right?”
“Indeed. Worthy of a drink, at least,” Ketch said. “Not that I’d drink the swill they keep here.”
“Then let’s bail this joint,” Gabriel suggested. “I know a great little modern-day speakeasy in New York.”
Ketch paused. “You aren’t planning on staying to fight Michael.”
Gabriel didn’t answer, which was answer enough.
“So why did you stay?”
Gabe looked away, as if giving Ketch modesty as Ketch pulled out a new shirt to put on.
“I didn’t give a Reaper a side-eye just to see you suicide by Winchester.”
Ketch paused. “Really?”
“Really. She barely continued her bitch face.” Gabriel sighed. “Look. You basically died with the intent to protect me, even though you stood nothing to gain nothing from it. I’ve been Loki long enough to appreciate that kind of devotion. And like I said, you certainly aren’t going to get any thanks from the Winchesters.”
“But the Earth – “
“Will be fine, or you’ll be dead anyway. The boys broke it, they can fix it. Besides, they’ve got the spawn of Satan helping them. Kid’s stronger than I ever was.”
Gabriel’s voice was a mix of sadness and bitterness. He wondered how weakened Gabriel had become. That reminded Ketch. He reached into his coat pocket and pulled out the extra vial of Grace that Asmodeus had stashed. “Here. I kept this from the boys.”
Gabriel seemed genuinely surprised, but none the less pleased to see it. “I thought you were trying to buy their favor.”
“I was,” Ketch said. “But you never show all your cards up front and you have a point. I could have died saving Mary and they probably would have just stepped over my corpse to get to her. Rescuing you, regardless of my original motivation has to count for something right?”
Gabriel held up his grace reverently. “And this counts for a lot more.” He took off the cap and swallowed greedily. His already healed body began to glow with new health before his eyes shown a piercing blue. Ketch is pretty sure he gasped when he saw the shadows of Gabriel’s wings lay on the wall.
“That was like the best damn pixie stick ever.” Gabriel said satisfied before looking at Ketch. “You can stop gaping. If you’re going to worship, I prefer genuflecting.”
“I’m a wee bit out of practice,” Ketch joked weakly as he finished packing his bag, a little awestruck. Between Jack’s power and now Gabriel’s power and the whole almost dying bit he was feeling incredibly mortal at the moment. “How about I buy you the first round instead?”
“Deal,” Gabriel said as he opened the door and let Ketch lead the way.

“Moving on so soon?” Dean asked, flat tone of his voice belaying the that he was more than happy to see Ketch go.
“Quite,” Ketch said. “We’re stepping out to New York for a drink.” It only then occurred to him how ridiculous that statement really was.
“New York,” Sam said. “For a drink.” Sam asked in disbelief.
“I know you aren’t hard-of-hearing Sammo, New York. This place is great. Some get all dressed up, they have a live jazz band, even some questionable bathtub hooch if you’re living on the edge. Can’t get any more authentic without time travel,” Gabriel said.
“But what about Michael?” Dean demanded.
“What about Michael?” Gabriel aped. “You got Lucifer Junior. You’ll be fiiine,” Gabriel dismissed Dean’s concerns.
“I am right here,” Jack said slightly peeved, but distracted. “You feel different,” he added.
“I’m healed,” the archangel clarified.
“But how?” Jack asked. “Castiel said the only way for an angel to recover from the loss of Grace is to consume their Grace.”
“Of which I still had a vial,” Ketch said. “And he consumed.”
“What?!” Dean said glaring at Ketch.
“What?” Ketch said. “I was optimistic when I came to you for help, not naïve. There is a difference.”
“And that’s why I like him. Daylight’s a burning and we’ve a drink or five to get through.”
“Fine. Whatever,” Dean groused. “Have fun.”
“Dean?” Gabriel asked.
“What?” Dean snapped.
“My archangel blade,” Gabriel said hand out expectantly.
With a reluctant sigh, Dean relinquished the blade.
“Pleasure doing business with you. Once you fix the world, please stop breaking it. We’ve just about run out the warranty on the place.”
Ketch found himself pulled into the ether before Dean could reply.
