Steven Grant is absolutely 100% stronger than anyone.
A strange phone that he just found rings and what does he do? The mad lad answers it. The mystery is too much, he just presses answer. No panicked second thought.
I would be on the floor screaming, crying, throwing up and watch it ring.
He's the kind of guy who: if you want to get take away from a certain place, but aw man! they don't let you order online would just straight up be like. No worries. I'll call them.
And he would answer the door to get the delivery too.
Steven is the MVP.

Mohamed Diab Interview
I was reading a post-finale interview with Mohamed Diab (director, Moon Knight) and a couple of quotes stood out to me:
“As great as everything else was, he [Oscar Isaac] actually topped it with something even better. He confronted his mom in a white void, and he was going back and forth between Marc and Steven. And oh my god. That scene by itself is an Oscar-worthy performance.”
Diab says this cut scene was going to be in episode 6 so I wonder if they were going to originally have this scene replace the moment when Marc and Steven are back in Harrow’s office, notice his feet bleeding, and refuse to accept his reality instead choosing to make their own path. The scene was a brilliant representation of Marc and Steven’s win against their inner struggles and a scene with them confronting (a reconstructed memory of) their mom could have served the same narrative and character purpose.
I really hope we get to see this scene because I know for sure it’ll make me cry even more, @disney release the extras!
“And the moment that she [Layla] becomes a superhero, you don’t know what that means to Egypt. My daughter, when she was five, wanted to straighten her curly hair because she never felt like she saw herself in any of the Disney movies and cartoons. So to see this woman — who looks like an everyday Egyptian, with beautiful curly hair — become a superhero is something huge...”
😭😭😭😭 I loved the scene where the girl asked her if she was an Egyptian superhero and Layla replied “I am” with so much conviction! Diab’s personal story about how much it meant to his family is so heartwarming!
Full interview linked here. It’s worth a read!

🍇 🌷 !!!
🍇 - How did you get introduced to your f/o?
through the hypno's lullaby fnf mod HSWJFBJSND
🌷 - How different is your f/o in your head compared to canon?
there's not much to go off of in canon but i think that he'd be quiet most of the time, especially after the miki incident
also steven is. pretty strong i think bc he literally snapped mike's neck with his bare hands...help. but i think after that he realizes just how damn Strong he is and was like "ok maybe i shouldn't use this just to hurt ppl but to protect them" so uuhhh yippee!

there are not enough words in the human language to describe how much i love layla el-faouly (and may calamawy too for that matter )
i've just been staring at pictures of her for the last hour being absolutely blown away by every single thing she has ever done and slowly hyperventilating

okay but does anyone have a term for triggers that are really just. perfectly harmless stuff that is triggering to fully only you because of your specific trauma but is so niche that it would justifiably never be TWed because who on earth would assume that [thing] could be triggering? I always call them “innocuous triggers” but I’m not sure if I really like that or not. it’s a little. oxymoronic.
