i have a lot of Thoughts about this au. specifically where both kni and vash's goals differ but yet i still try to keep the same. the shift is, who was the one who got rem's speech after tesla's revelation.

kni uses his powers of creation so as not to let his sisters suffer the end of a last run anymore. hence the black hair. meanwhile, vash doesn't want to eradicate all of humanity, but to control them and strip them of their free will. he thinks in this way, he could control how plants are to be treated and kni won't have to slowly kill himself for the Humans and their sisters. he's starting a cult lmao

Thinking about how the players of Double Life immediately started subtly being more careful because of the soul bonds. Thinking about how even though this is a death game, even though the goal has always been to stay alive at all costs and take as little damage as possible, I heard so many variations on "I'm going to have to get used to taking care of you, too" from so many of them, followed by them taking much better care of themselves. Thinking about how out of their way they go not to take small amounts of mundane damage from falls and drowning because the harm feels different when it isn't just you suffering it. Just...thinking a lot about that.

MORNING GLORY

Price is a morning Glory, high John the conqueror, breaker of obstacles, I have been pressing this flower upon fae!Price since Witch made him those cigars. He's a morning Glory.

Witch also has a floral motif and that's roses! A symbol of love protected by thorns, fed with blood to make the most beautiful blooms. Which I think is a lovely representation of her relationship with her magic, it protects her and is fed by her lineage, while also showing that she's made for more than that.

Their relationship as a whole I could probably do a floriography bouquet on, there's a lot of elements to it: foxglove for the fae and the danger they pose to each other, camellias for longing, queen Anne's lace for sanctuary and love, pink roses for a newer sweeter love, maybe some ivy for fidelity and to make it look overgrown...

Before I go to sleep I leave you all with this piece of advice: sometimes you don't actually have to answer big political questions, sometimes you can just say "I am not smart enough to know that, I just know the small things I do to help." Like you can often times completely avoid making a fool of yourself if you just say you don't know.

Usopp loves his plants a lot and talks to them, and one day Sanji asks why he does that, and turns out it helps them grow and feel more loved. Besides, it's always nice to have somewhere to express what you feel, even if you're not gonna get any reply. Usopp has enough knowing they will grow stronger and loved. And so Sanji keeps seeing the sniper do this every day, and decides to try it for himself one night alone. He tells them about Usopp and how in love he is with him but refuses to confess out of fear. He tells the plants about Usopp's qualities and how happy he makes Sanji. Basically, Sanji spends all the night talking about Usopp to the plants. What he doesn't know is that Usopp listens to all of that because he has a lil sensor built so he knows when someone approaches his plants (Luffy. It's because of Luffy) and he woke up in the middle of the night and heard all Sanji had to say. And he's glad his plants can't talk because otherwise, they would have probably told the cook about all the times Usopp has talked to them about his crush on Sanji.

Whew look at you go! Had a small problem with aphids a lil while back, but after a whole lot of diligence they were banished. Still have some of the damaged leaves visible but look at all the healthy new growth!

You may be trying to take over my desk, but I couldn’t ask for a better art companion. The moss in the planter is happy with the frequent watering and shade, but the impatiens is trying to devoir the terrarium moss now too

My oxalis is thriving still, too. But it has its own space above me and isn’t trying to reach out and say hello as much.
