I usually work very hard with gouache but this time I used them practically as watercolors. My idea is that I start with a graphite sketch, get a wash of base color and shadows, then come back in with opaque smaller strokes to finish it up. I might need new brushes though, all of my current ones are good for oils and acrylic. These ones I used here were borrowed and not very high quality…
