I’ve found you can always find out more about someone by asking a nonsensical question than a sensical one. Let’s say I ask “how was your day?”

You’d say “good,” or “fine” or some other vague platitude. That’s actually not good OR fine! I learn nothing

Instead, ask “what do you think is the worst vegetable to wear as a hat?” and boom they’re immediately engaged. Plus, you can tell from their answers if they value practicality (a carrot, it would fall), fashion (cabbage, it’s ugly), comfort (a pumpkin, would be too heavy), or if they prioritise something you’d never even considered. One person I asked said that garlic is the worst since it would “smell and nobody would talk to you,” while another said tomato since it would turn to mush in the sun and cause sunburn.

Would love to hear anyone’s answers by the way. I’ve been collecting results on people’s responses for years.

Haha, thanks leta, loife already tried to explain it, though I think I understand it now a little better. I thought Dazai and Chuuya are some dancer before- uh, well, seems like I was wrong. Good you two explained it to me.

And thank youuuu, I feel much better right away. As I already said - at least I think I already said this today at some point - I feel better today. Not good in any form, but better. I was even able to keep my balance on the bus today without stumbling, as I did before the illness, so the dizziness is slowly subsiding. And it's not like I'm dying or anything, I'm healthy enough to go to school - yippie. Just some headache and the remaining dizziness.

So, leaving me aside, how was your day today? Did anything interesting happen?

How was your day?

Hi anon 🙋‍♀️ Thank you for asking 😊🤗😘 Unfortunately it was another bad day at work. The conditions there are terrible. It's freezing cold & the work is hard and often long (12 hours today. On a Friday! 😔). I want so much to leave but there are contractual complications which damn near make it impossible for me to leave this job & go straight to another. I feel trapped and I see no decent way out. On the plus side, I'm now on my Xmas hols. I'm taking early hols cos I've an operation (praying so hard it's not cancelled) on the 21st. I've no idea when I'll be fit to return to work but I'm guessing in about 4 weeks or so. I'll have to survive on SSP once my holiday days run out. Once again, thanks for asking. I hope you're ok 💜
