okay so normally when i make informative posts about current news, i try to always link a source for it (i tend to rely on the guardian) or at least explain the source of it.

but i dont know if the government are planning to publicise this or quietly implement it so im hesitant to give details on where i got this info. im just gonna say it was from someone/s who works in the department of work and pensions, and hope that my prior post history speaks well enough of me for you to trust that this isnt misinformation.

i dont like doing this but i think this information is too important for me not to share it and said info is fucking disgusting.

starting in march, in the uk, if you ask at the job centre for a voucher for a local foodbank, you are going to be turned away.

under the current system, if you go to a job centre that has a food bank referral service, the staff will fill in a slip (theyre advised not to call it a voucher but tomayto tomarto you know?) and refer you to a local charity which will allocate you food according to the slip.

that ends on march 1st. after that, they will just hopefully signpost you to other services that can help you get an emergency food parcel. that will likely involve you having to travel somewhere, potentially on a public transport, costing you more money that you dont have. and that does not guarantee that you will get the food you need either that day or at all.

our government does not care about its citizens, but especially not about us who are poor. they see the working class, the impoverished and the homeless as subhumans. they see us as what new right sociologist and white nationalist libertarian charles murray coined the underclass.

and you know this because of how the current system will be working from now until the end of february because if youre gonna stab someone while theyre bleeding to death, you might as well double tap it, ay?

from now until february 29th, you now must have an interview so that they can be "sure" that you need that food.

bear in mind that this does not cost the government anything. they are not losing money because of this service, if you want to call it that.

and that interview? that could take up to 3 days; its whenever they have a timeslot within 3 days of your asking. you could go in and say "i have no money and i have no food, i havent eaten for days, please help," and they could tell you to come back in three days, and then not even give you that slip of paper anyway.

this could kill someone. yes, it takes longer than three days to starve to death, but if someone is struggling that much to need help acquiring food, theyre gonna have more problems going on. people might choose food over heating and freeze to death; they might decide to eat food thats gone off and end up dying from it because they couldnt call 999 because they didnt have electricity; they might decide to try and injure themselves so bad that they have an extended stay in hospital as a way to get food and die in the process; they might not have eaten in weeks and starve to death.

but hey, if you do pass the interview process, youll get the referral you needed up to three days ago and a discussion about how better to manage your finances, because hey, youve already stabbed the stabbed person two more times, why not twist the fucking knife?

I was wondering if you could write some head cannons for the hashira (separate) x a reader who has health issues that cause difficulty breathing and the need to use a nebulizer (it’s a machine with a mask that you wear in inhale medication in case you didn’t know), and how they react to some of the side affects of it (tiredness, fatigue, mild full body shaking, hyperactivity) this is very much me projecting due to me not seeing much rep of these types of conditions. totally understand if you don’t feel comfortable doing it, I understand that these types of things can be scary or triggering for some but I figured I might as well ask. Again I hope your having a lovely day and thank you for reading <3

Rengoku

When you first explained your condition to him, he was a little confused

Asked a lot of questions about your nebulizer, the type of medication you took, and overall just wanted to learn about it!

Rengoku is always asking if your okay, he is very blunt about it because he worries ab you a lot, however he doesnt show it since he wouldnt want to upset you

will ABSOLUTELY help you with anything you need, say for example your feeling especially tired or shaky, he will not leave your side! your happiness is always his top priority<3

Throughout the day, he does consistent check-ins to make sure you've eaten, drank water, and taken your medication. if you havent, rengoku will remind you that you probably should and will help you if necessary!

when your feeling tired, he pulls you into the biggest bear hug and lets you rest in his arms-

"Have you taken your medication today baby?" Rengoku's voice was softer than usual, making sure not to surprise you as he walked up behind you. He wrapped his arms around your waist, pressing a kiss onto the top of your head as you nodded. "thats good! I'm so proud of you, you know that?"

Tengen

your absolutely getting the royalty treatment, your getting PAMPERED!

can and will pay for all of your medical expenses, whether it be medication, the cost of the nebulizer, and anything else you want- he is very insistent about it!

Tengen wants you to live your life to to the fullest and flashiest extent possible, regardless of your condition and does everything possible to make life fun for you!

He would be understanding of your limits tho, and I think he would really enjoy carrying you around simply because it lets him take care of you. he would never want you to overwork yourself or push yourself on his behalf, and will check in on you if your looking particularly tired!

he wants to marry you the first chance he gets!

You were cleaning off your nebulizer as your husband came up behind you. "Here, let me~" Tengen whispered in your ear, moving your hands away from the nebulizer to wash it instead. "Tengen, I can do it myself..." you muttered, and he grinned at you. "I know, but what kind of man would I be if I let someone as beautiful as you do all the hardwork, hm?" His words made your cheeks flush, and he placed the nebulizer down as he wrapped his arms around your waist, dipping you low and kissing you extravagantly. "I love you doll~"

Shinobu

She is sooo protective over you, but in the best way! Shinobu is always making sure that your staying healthy and taking your medication, and will check up on your breathing whenever necessary!

Shinobu shows her affection through actions rather than words, especially when it comes to you. She knows she can never fully relate to what your feeling, but does her best to show she cares

She definitely educated herself on your condition and read up on possible treatment and ways to ease symptoms. she would never do anything you weren't comfortable with, but is always offering new treatments that may help improve your life!

When your feeling like shit, she will practically force you to stay in bed and let her take care of u!

Shinobu hummed softly, gently taking the mask of your nebulizer off your face before leaning in to kiss you. "Dont overwork yourself.." she murmured softly, moving closer to wrap her arms around you and run her hands through your hair. "I love you so much, little butterfly.."

Obanai

When you first tell him about it, he honestly isnt that phased

He doesnt view you any differently than he did before, and he thinks your perfect with or without your condition.

Obanai is always keeping an eye on you, just to make sure you don't get hurt or overwork yourself. He'll softly ask you questions about how your feeling, and stares intently at you making sure your not in any form of pain, physically or mentally

he is great to talk to if your upset, and while he may not relate or understand, he will do his best to listen

whenever your tired, obanai will carry you on his back to where you want to go! if your shaky, he will hold things for you and he will ask if its okay for him to help you, he would never want to overstep or make you feel incapable

Kaburamaru likes you a lot as well, and enjoys resting with you when your tired and will watch over you when Obanai cant!

Your hands shook as you attempted to pour the water into the mug, frustration boiling in your gut at your inability to do this seemingly simple task. "Let me." Obanais smooth voice made you stop as he gently reached out, steadying your hands with his own. "Do you want help?" Obanai and Kaburamaru studied your face, and you nodded softly. In perfect synchronization, Obanai held the mug for you while you poured the water in and added the tea bag. Obanai admired you, hearts in his eyes as he wrapped his arms around your waist in a gentle hug.

Mitsuri

she is ENAMORED with you she finds your persistence and strength beautiful in every way!!

mitsuri def wanted to understand how you felt and what your condition was like, and would also ask a lot of questions

SHES SO CLINGYYYYY its honestly adorable bc shes always holding you or hugging you and asking you how you feel!

if your tired or worn out, she practically drags u into bed to cuddle you! shes soooo understanding of your strength and your limits and will praise you SO MUCH for your strength and tenacity

when it comes to a nebulizer, while she may be sort of confused she is very supportive and will remind you (if needed) to take your medication!

"HEYYYY Y/N!!!" Mitsuri called out to you, running into the room and throwing her arms around you as she pressed kisses all over your face. Your nose wrinkled automatically from the affection, and she giggled. You coughed and she tensed, pulling away with a concerned look on her face. "Are you okay??" Her wide eyes stared into yours, and you nodded. "I'm fine, just... tired." Mitsuri's face brightened, pink lips quirking into a small grin. "Thats okay!! Come on y/n, we can go cuddle together in bed!!!!"

Sanemi

Sanemi is surprisingly considerate about your condition, and will fiercely defend you if anyone even dared say anything about you or your condition

I think he would bluntly ask questions at first, honestly he would be a little tad bit ignorant but only when he first met you

he would originally think you were weak but once sanemi began to know about your condition and all the stress and pain you had to go through just to live, he honestly began to admire you

sanemi would train you, just so you knew how to defend yourself but also because he wants you to know he doesnt think your weak

when your tired, he will pull you onto his lap and run his fingers through your hair while holding you tight and close to him. he'll never mention it and will pout and pretend to complain, but in reality he loves you so much and hates seeing you in pain.

sanemi would be hella confused about your nebulizer at first ngl- he would ask a lot of questions about it and about any medication you took, and would make a mental note to remind you about it

overall does EVERYTHING he can to take care of you and is honestly so worried about you- he just loves you so much

"What the fuck are you doing???!!" Sanemi gasped out as you crawled into his lap, wrapping your arms and legs around him and nuzzling into the crook of your neck. "I'm tired 'Nemi..." you mumbled, hands shaking slightly as you struggled to calm your breathing. Sanemi sighed, pretending to be exasperated but the speed of his flustered heart gave him away. He pulled away to press a kiss to your forehead before pulling you close again and wrapping himself around you. "Your lucky I love you..."

Gyomei

When you first tell him about your condition, he begins to cry a little

Gyomei finds it super endearing how tenacious and hardworking you are, doing your best to overcome your condition

hes an incredible listener, and whenever your feeling tired or upset hes always there to comfort you

when it comes to medicine and your nebulizer, he will want to learn how to help you in any way he can. definitely educates himself and i can see him asking you or shinobu any questions about conditions similar or the same as yours

while he can't physically see you, he knows how much your condition pains you and will pray for your comfort sometimes

gyomei is HUGE and really likes carrying you around when your tired!!! he'll gladly invite you into his arms whenever he senses your exhaustion, but is always very gentle with you in fear of hurting you because your so precious to him.

You took a steady breath with the help of your nebulizer, Gyomeis large hands gently rubbing your back as you inhaled your medication. "My sweet light..." he murmured softly, so softly you had to strain a bit to hear him. "I love you... i love you so much." You can't help but smile, and he smiles too, grateful he gets to bask in your warmth.

Giyuu

When you first explain it to him, don't expect a huge reaction

Giyuu pretends he doesn't care much, why should he?

Yet his heart seems to stop when you first explain your difficulty breathing and your need for a nebulizer

a wave of fear washes over him so much it's almost paralyzing, hes terrified of losing you

Giyuu would probably try to push you away but only at first, when he realized how upset it made you he began to open up to you more

hes always asking about your comfort, he lends you his clothes often to make sure your comfortable and will memorize when and how you take your medication

Giyuu learns all he can about your condition and your nebulizer, he wants you to know that you can rely on him

Giyuu is not great at expressing himself through words, however he cares about you very, very deeply.

You know he cares by the way his deep blue eyes study you whenever you cough, the way his hands steady you when you shake

He would gladly switch positions with you in a heartbeat if it meant you wouldn't have to feel the pain you struggle with

Every time you cough or wheeze he swears his heart skips a beat, and whenever your tired he always pulls you so close to him

Giyuu pulled you close to him, gently placing the nebulizer away so he didn't have to see it. Burying his head in your hair, embracing you as he tried to ignore the pain he felt at seeing you struggle to simply breath. He knew how exhausted you were, and he wanted nothing more than to take the pain away. "I love you so much, my dear... never leave me, please..."

this was honestly such an interesting ask to write, and i really enjoyed it! i apologize if any of them are OOC, i havent written for some of them before 😭😭😭 I HOPE YALL ENJOYED!!!!!! PLSSS SEND IN MORE REQS IM DYING FOR MORE DEMON SLAYER REQS!!!

"Just one more Flower for—" you were cut off by the chime of the clock. It was Midnight. "What the fuck, Wasn't it just 6pm" you spoke to yourself, Through the screen everyone has been looking at eachother in a state of shock,.for them it's been a few weeks. And you haven't eaten or slept??

Imposter AU:

"Man how long have I've been running from them....." You sat down near a berry bush to catch your breathe and picking the berries as you go. "IMPOSTER YOUVE BEEN RUNNING FOR 3 DAYS" one of your characters snuck up behind you pointing their weapon at you. "3 days???? I thought it was 2 hours??? I HAVENT EVEN EATEN ANYTHING" You are more confused than anyone at the moment. "YOU SHOULD BE DEAD!??" Now it's just become a confused argument back and forth.

Soft AU:

"Your Grace...Would you like to eat??" Someone knocked on your door. "uhhh what time is it?" You looked up from your collection of offerings you were organizing. "it's 13:34 Your Grace" they said respectfully bowing. "didn't I just eat an hour ago?" You ask yourself. Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu x Reader- Sick Day (fluff)

So this was originally posted on my old account, greenteaandchildrenscreams, but i deleted that account and i wanted to rewrite this now that ive improved my dialogue a bit so here you go. enjoy <3

(warning: swearing)

You groaned as you got out of bed, your headache pounding with every step you took towards your kitchen. You got out your thermometer, stuck the metal tip under your tongue and waited for its results.

"101.4... damn, that sucks... where's the ibuprofen" you thought. You went into your bathroom and took the painkillers with some benadryl (or whatever meds you take when youre sick) and headed back into your room before covering yourself with as many blankets as you could find and falling asleep.

You were awoken hours later by your phone beeping off the hook. You shielded your eyes from its bright light as you checked your messages (the painkillers had helped your headache but fevers are bitches) and saw a bunch of missed calls and texts from your favorite mafia boss.

hey where are you you havent been in class for 2 days teach is worried

Sry i have a fever i feel like shit

i took some meds earlier and took a nap but i still feel crappy

You sighed at his lack of response but quickly fell back asleep.

You were woken up again a short time later by Fuyuhiko banging on your bedroom door. You pushed off the blankets that were still on you (you had kicked most of them off in your sleep) and opened the door. The short blonde was holding a large bowl and a tote bag.

"Fuyu how the hell did you get into my house?"

"Peko."

You let out a small laugh, of course she'd be able to get into your apartment. She did work for a yakuza leader, after all.

"I brought some soup and medicine." Fuyuhiko set the bowl, apparently containing soup, down on your nightstand. "I wasn't sure what you're sick with so I brought a bunch."

You smiled. Although he had a brash and intimidating facade you could definitely see his caring side sometimes. This was one of those times.

"Have ya eaten yet?"

"No."

"Dumbass, how the fuck are you gonna get better if you don't eat shit?"

He led you over to your bed. As you sat back down on it he handed you the bowl of soup and a spoon.

"Chicken Noodle. Peko made it."

The soup was delicious, as you had suspected when you heard Peko had made it. You quickly finished off the whole bowl and handed it back to Fuyu.

"Make sure to thank Peko for me. That was delicious." you said as you rearranged the pillows on your bed and laid back down.

"Will-do."

Fuyu got out some painkillers and allergy medicine from his bag. You took a dose of both before once again rolling over in preperation for a nap. You saw Fuyuhiko head towards the door and called out to him.

"Fuyu, wait."

He turned. "What, ya need anything else?"

"Yeah. Can you cuddle with me till I fall asleep?"

He turned bright red, but still walked back towards your bed, kicking off his shoes and getting under the covers with you. You wrapped your arms around him and buried your head in his neck.

"Thank you for everything today. I appreciate it." you breathed into the curve of his neck.

"It's nothin, dumbass."

"I still appreciate it..." you trailed off, but not before murmuring "Love you."

Fuyuhiko was startled by your words but still let out a soft "Love you too." before falling asleep himself.

You two would have plenty of time to figure out your feelings when you woke up.

Ranpo with a tooth cavity

You had told Ranpo time and time again to make sure he watches how much sugar he eats since it could have a bad effect on him.

But the prideful detective just disregarded the advice and just took it as you being a worry wort.

In the office, you would see him munching away to his hearts content from morning to noon.

You would see him take out all types of sugary treats; chocolates, donuts, cupcakes, candies, you name it he had it.

Seeing the amount of sugar he ate in just one day worried you, you cared so much for him and he knew that. He tried to reassure you that he’d be fine and told you not to worry so much.

“Some simple sugar cannot hope to defeat the worlds greatest detective!” He said proudly. You smiled at his dorky confidence.

Looking back, that sentence he said ended up being very ironic.

“OWW!” You look up from your computer to see Ranpo touching his cheek.

“Ranpo are you okay?” Junichiro asks with a concerned expression.

“Yeah im fine just a sharp pain on my back molar, not sure why” Ranpo says.

“Sounds like a tooth cavity to me, all that sugar has finally caught up to you” Dazai says looking at Ranpo.

Ranpo jumps up from his chair slamming his hands on the desk leaning forward looking at dazai. “Impossible! I havent eaten nearly enough sweets today?!”

“You’ve eaten 5 cupcakes, 2 bags of chips and 3 soda pops since we started working,……we got here 20 minutes ago” Atsushi said with a (٥⁀▽⁀ ) expression.

“….that’s irrelevant” Ranpo says sitting back down with a pout and arms crossed. “Youll have to schedule a dentist appointment to get that checked Ranpo, if you don’t it can get worse.” You tell him with a worried yet pleading expression.

He’s hesitant to agree but he knows you’re right, which is why its so hard for him to agree with you. (Stubborn ass mf istg-) He sets up an appointment for the following day.

The day of the appointment

You had offered to go with Ranpo to the appointment to accompany him. (And to get that sweet “i told you so” moment). You waited outside in the waiting room for the checkup to be complete. About 45 minutes later Ranpo finally came outside.

“How did it go?” You ask. He looks down avoiding your eyes with a pout visibly on his face. “You had a cavity didn’t you” you say catching on. He just silently nods his head. “Did they have to fill it in?” You ask.

He looks at you and sighs, “yeah they said it was because i eat too much sugar and told me to try and take a small break from it or atleast try to cut some down.”

“Mm” you say looking at him.

“I know youre gonna say it so just let it out” he says.

“I told you so” you say looking at him with your arms crossed.

“I know, and im sorry for not really listening to you” He opens his eyes and looks at you “I was in the wrong, i just thought you were worrying too much and over exaggerating, but you were right and im sor-“ his words get cut off by your arms wrapped around him in a tight hug.

“Whats the hug for?” He asks a bit surprised.

“Its not everyday you hear the worlds greatest detective admit they were wrong” you say with your head resting on Ranpos chest.

“Hey now, don’t get too used to it!” He hugs back, hell never admit it, but he loves it when you call him “the worlds greatest detective.”

“Now how about some snacks to eat!” He says with stars in his eyes.

“Ranpo..” you say with a confused yet disappointed face.

“Im just messing with you love!~” he says smiling.

today begins my homestuck reread. i wanted to start it yesterday january 1, 2024 but i got busy. so we begin today

PREFACE: i wanted to download the unofficial collection and read it thus, but it didnt WORK cus of my accursed mac. so. im on the unofficial collection website. also i debated on how exactly to do my liveblogging and decided on actually liveblogging in my friend's discord server and then translating the day's reading to text on tumblr. so!

DAY 1: JANUARY 2, 2024

STATS: read for ~3 hours pages read: 1-381. 380 pages slur count: 3. john, rose, dave. all r slur silly count: 3. jade, rose, rose. jade about dave; rose about herself piss count: 1/3. howie mandel strikes again

THOUGHTS:

ive found a lot of overlooked aspects of especially john and dave. whether or not these are "i never noticed she was holding corn on the plate!" encanto aspects or not is undecided. people tend to interpret john as having eaten cake his whole LIFE when instead it was just on 4/13 because it was his birthday. dave has A BUNCH of ironic blogs and websites that he never shows. ive only seen sbahj and his personal blog so that was kind of a shocker to me. thats all the overlooked aspects i guess lol in addition to john talk: all of his dad's harlequin merchandise is soooo cute. i wouldnt be annoyed if my dad put all this harlequin stuff in my house theyre so silly and bright dave is REALLY ANNOYING. i kind of forgot. he sounds so different from how he sounds later in the comic and how he does in my head. he does a rap in the pages i read and the first part was good but the second part was bad. rose and her relationship with her mom is JUST like me fr...... ugh. rose is so me but if i was like way pettier. something about them strikes me. mommy issues i guess. being spiteful towards your mother when your mother is just trying her best. something. oh well i was thinking about the strilondes and their conceptions of irony and its been affecting how i interpret the text. dirk and rose get irony; dave and roxy do not. dave tries to mimic what he sees in bro, but only scratches the surface of true mind games. he fails at being ironic, though he is cool i guess (for other reasons). rose interprets her mother's vaccuuming as an "ironic housewife routine" which broke my heart. rose gets irony; roxy does not. (this is also how their one-sided passive aggressive one-upmanship operates. rose is ironic; roxy is not). ive also been keeping track of the times in canon which is also corn on the plate level but whatever. johns doing this all at FIVE PM. brother thats dinner time for me. a meteors coming for you and youre playing this game and suddenly youre in another dimension and its FIVE THIRTY! ugh. daves like oh man i gotta fight my bro to get a sburb game to save my buddy rose and its like SEVEN PM! jesus! so night time. some dirk and dave mirrors: manbro bukkake theater. didnt notice dave said that?!??! ben stiller instead of rainbow dash above the closet door. awesome. sylladexes and fetch modii are crazy and i think its so interesting how hussie focuses on them so much in these first acts. i saw something a while ago about how fetch modii mirror people's thought processes and thought it was cool. dave thinking STOP! = 7 and then that releasing his sword (in 7 spot) was really cool. i love fetch modii they make no sense also some pages havent been working and its kind of driving me up the wall :-/ some flashes dont have sound and daves sound mixer DIDNT WORK AT ALL! but thats fine rather that than one of the gaming flashes where you walk around.

you were at recom training with wuaritch and the others, you needed the training because your avatar bodies are still pretty weak and in need of excersise and muscle.

the training was around 3 hours long which meant theres about 40 minutes left you were all running around the court like maniacs, the last part of the training was basketball because its a really good sport for your physicall health

quaritch put us in 2 teams so we can play basketball against eachother, my team consisted of z dog, mansk, prager , and lyle and the other team had walker, lopez, ja, and quaritch, you were surprised to see that he joined on the game because he never usually participates when hes training you and the others, he usually trains himself at the gym

the game finished after you scraped your knee just 4 minutes into the match, no one complained because none of them wanted to play anyways, so they just left.

“So that must mean there is nothing wrong with them.” Pesselle finishes.

The room is filled with sighs of relief, but then confusion.

“Possibly the worlds heaviest sleeper? I’m sure they will come around.” Rei adds.

“Abra.” The Pokémon instantly teleports in “I wish for you to stay here and keep watch over the hero, if they wake you are to report back to me.”

The floating Pokémon makes a confirming sound and makes a spot floating beside you.

“Everyone else, back to your orders.”

And they did, occasionally checking on you to see if you’ve woken up yet. Cyllene gets increasingly more worried when by the end of the day her Abra doesn’t come to her at all.

She peeks in and finds you haven’t moved, neither as your Blissey or her Abra.

She hope in the morning you’ll be up.

But you never did.

The next morning the room is exactly how it was left as were you.

“Where is the hero?” Kamado was at Cyllene’s desk those time.

“They are still asleep sir, Abra has not alerted me to any movements or them waking up, I am concerned by this, it’s been over twenty-four hours.”

Kamado huffs “have you tried pouring water over them?”

“I’m positive if Pesselle doesn’t end you for ruining her sheets, I will.” She stops her work and stares at the man in front of her.

“Then what are we to do? We need them out there.”

“If you are so concerned about filling the pokedex then why don’t you go do it?”

Kamado stops talking and crosses his arms.

“If you don’t wish to talk to the clan leaders about why the hero hasn’t showed up to help them direct them to me.” She returns to reviewing reports.

Kamado leaves for his office just as Rei and Laventon show up.

“Are they awake yet?” Rei asks excitedly.

“I’m afraid not.” The swordswoman sighs a Rei’s dejected face.

Laventon looks towards you in worry.

“And Blissey hasn’t indicted something wrong?”

“Also no.”

The three sigh, worried about your condition.

The silence is broken by a sniffle “a-are they dying?”

“What? No not at all Rei! If they were dying, hurt, or ill, Blissey would’ve let us know.”

Laventon shushes the boy gently, hugging him and rubbing circles on his back.

“I apologize for the interruption-“

“I don’t, where are they!”

The three look towards the door and see Ingo and Lian standing there.

“I’m sorry for his outburst, we haven’t heard from the hero and we are getting worried.” Ingo tilts his hat down.

Lian puts his hands on his hips “they promised to hang out with me today, but it’s almost evening, where are they!…..Rei?”

Both warden’s look concerned while Rei furiously wipes away his tears.

“A-are they?” Lian’s bottom lip quivers.

“Did they?” Ingo asks softly.

“No no! They are fine!”

Laventon speaks “it’s been over twenty-four hours, probably more than forty-eight hours, and they still haven’t woken up.”

“We have tried everything! And I just..I was getting worried.”

“They have been asleep for two days?” Ingo sounds surprised, sure you’re always sleepy and tired, but that long?

“Yes, Abra is set to alert Cyllene if they wake up, and their Blissey has basically told us there is nothing wrong with them.” Laventon hums.

The two warden’s visit you where you slept.

Blissey jumping up happily at the sight of them.

“Is there anything we can do to help?”

The professor shakes his head “I’m afraid not, it’s just a waiting game now.”

“Then we stay here until they wake up.” Lian declares, sitting beside you.

“Lian we have work to do, and you have a noble to tend to.” The older warden says tenderly.

“Lord Kleavor will understand! He likes big sib anyways.”

Ingo sighs “should we tell everyone else?”

“Oh no, if this is just something small it would cause a big fuss over nothing, we don’t want to start chaos.” Cyllene waves him off.

That night Lian laid on the bed next to yours waiting for you to wake up.

Rei laid with him hoping that whatever was listening would wake you. He weeps silently.

Cyllene closed all doors to her office and allowed herself to shed a tear, her worry for you is immense.

Laventon cries into the desk, what if you are dying? What if you’re too far gone and that’s why Blissey isn’t reacting, cause there is nothing she can do.

Ingo stayed in Jubilife that night as well, but he couldn’t sleep, he kept walking around the Village and stop by to spend time with your Pokémon, before going back to the medical bay and checkin on you and the boys.

You blink your eyes lazily, groaning as your stretch, bones popping while you fall limp once more to the bed.

“YOU’RE AWAKE!”

You didn’t even get to finish your sentence when Ingo and Laventon ran off to fetch those things for you.

“We thought you were dying!” Rei cries this time.

“Guys please, I was just really tired.”

Cyllene clears her throat “I will be making sure your hours are cut then, I do not want a repeat of this.”

“Cyllene, as much as I love how much you guys care for me you can’t do that, it’s not something that can be stopped.”

day 12/366

spent... 3-4 hours at uni for my subject registration, and in order for me to be able to take all the classes i want and need for this semester so i could end all of my undergraduate classes by november and be able to get my diploma, i still have to wait for awhile for the office of the registrar's feedback on the process my department wants to do to help me with that. it's alright, i've learned to wait patiently during the first semester anyways. what's important is i'm nearing to my end-goal (graduate) !!

while waiting tho, i was able to talk to my clinical instructor and prof for both semesters for 4th yr classes (department head) and i'm really glad and grateful to have such good mentors

my CI gave me tips and cautions for when i start my internship (e.g., if you don't know something, just ask, because it's better to be demerited for being cautious (bc different institutions/hospitals = different standards & protocols) instead of compromising your patient's health and care)

^^ she was also quick to inform me of the first institute i'll be doing my rotation on (bc our rotations consists of adult care, neonatal/pediatrics, mothership and community)

my professor for lectures and research also was quick to say he's very flexible with whatever, because my clinical research 1 would be considered as a "special class" for the sem since what's offered for 2nd semester is clinical research 2

dean, as usual, very helpful. he was the one to settle the discussion on my subjects for the sem and is very willing to talk to office of the registrar's to be able to make things work out for me ♡

overall, it was a productive day despite waiting most of the day:

walked (picked up some fallen flowers while she smelled everything) + fed luna and cleaned her place before i got myself brunch and ready to leave

left together with one of my best friends bc she has her job interview near my first stop

levelled up on my solitaire app while waiting

was able to make it home in time for prayer and worship day 4/7 (traffic was insane, left uni at 430pm and arrived home 710pm)

got stuff printed to aid my review

planned out ideal rough schedule for when i start internship bc i also have solo research and the lectures + luna to take care of, among others

already looked up how to travel from home to my first hospital rotation (there are 2 ways !!)

and so, since i was not able to get coffee within the day, by 9pm i was asleep. woke up at 1130 to eat dinner tho bc havent eaten anything aside from brunch, 2 chocolate bars and a loooooottttt of water (too stubborn to take allergy meds)

also thinking about trying to vlog my process before internship and during and after ?? i kind of want to go through this part of my life where i muscled through but at the same time i feel it would be really hectic

Old WIP

soo I know I havent been active in like forever BUT! I've slowly been getting back into bnha :)) ... I finally watched the latest movie and im almost up to date on the manga

anyways I had this idea for a fic like two years ago and I've decided its time I share it cause I don't think ill ever actually write it lol (mostly cause im just not motivated but also cause I lost the draft I had for it) keep in mind that I thought about this like two years ago tho so all the recent manga/anime developments never happend (also mentions of bad parent Mitsuki ahead)

it was gonna be a kid Katsuki fic where Bakugou got hit by a quirk that basically made him 10 years younger (so he’d be 6). And the ‘rules’ to this quirk were the following:

- whoever gets hit by the quirk instantly turns into themselves from 10 years ago

- but like. exactly themselves from exactly 10 years ago. so they'd have the exact memories and body they had at the exact time of day just 10 years in the past.

- so for example if u got hit with the quirk at 3:23pm on the 10th of august 2022 you’d turn into the version of yourself from 3:23pm on the 10th of august 2012 and if you were hungry or thirsty at that time in 2012 you'd still be hungry or thirsty when you appear in 2022 (this is rlly vague but hopefully it makes some sense lmao)

-also say you were playing outside at that time, you'd suddenly be super confused as to where you were and what was happening etc.

- its kinda like the person hit by the quirk rewinds exactly 10 years. does that make sense(?).

- after exactly 24 hours the person hit with the quirk ‘ages’ (or I guess ‘fasts forward’) exactly a year. so 3:23pm august 10th 2012 kid turns into 3:23pm august 11th 2013 kid. cause its a day later.

- they age by exactly a year every 24 hours until they reach they're actual age again. so it takes exactly 10 days for the quirk to wear off.

- whenever they age up again, they have no memory of the day before

those were the basic rules to the quirk and I can't remember if there was anything else to it but yeah (lmk if it made no sense ill try to explain better)

so in my fic I was gonna have Katsuki get hit by the quirk (obviously). and it was gonna be part of my Bakugou Katsuki is class 1a’s big brother - change my mind series which means that id have Katsuki already adopted by Aizawa and part of the Aizawa-yamada household. (Hitoshi, Shoto and Eri also part of the fam of course) but the adoption process was gonna either not be over yet or at least super recent and the extent of Katsuki’s past and abuse was not gonna be known by anyone. also I like hawks so I think I had Baku as hawks’ intern in this

I believe I had already written the first scene where I was gonna have Miruko, hawks and Bakugou out on patrol fighting some villains and then Bakugou getting hit by the quirk. (I forgot the password I need to get to the draft tho💀, so I can't share it with you guys at the moment)

anyways, I thought the idea had a lot of potential cause I was gonna have everyone see how Katsuki aged from a 6yo to a 16yo over the course of 10 days. and I was gonna make it that his ‘past selves’ that ‘appear’ had just been kidnapped or something or had a lot of buises or hadn't eaten in however long and then all of a sudden they find themselves in a room full of (to them) strangers who he obviously doesn't trust. everyone was gonna see first hand how messed up Katsuki’s childhood was. and in the meantime Katsuki was just gonna be trying to figure out whether he could trust these people or how he could escape them.

it was gonna be a lot of trauma and fun!

oh and I was gonna make it that when he initially got attacked by the quirk, it would've coincidentally be exactly 9 days away from the anniversary of when the sludge villain attacked him. meaning that his 14yo self (that would've showed up on day 9 of the quirk) was gonna happen to be in the middle of being choked by sludge whilst the quirk hit which would make it that (to him) it'd feel like he’d be fighting sludge one second and then he’d suddenly be in front of a whole class of UA students the next.

I had all these ideas for the fic that I can elaborate on if anyones interested! but I mostly just wanted to share this cause I started thinking about my old WIPs recently and thought it'd be fun to talk about them!

the way my day has been horrific like I got into work and the fucking printer runs out of toner and my dumbass manager bought the wrong size cartridge <3 so now we don’t have ink to print paper forms if those dusty ass $50 Android tablets they use decide to glitch for the billionth time <3 and I’m working at this clinic for the next 2 days <33 so I’m gonna have to deal with this shit tomorrow and Sunday <333

then some dickhead comes in who hasn’t been in for over a year and ofc he has to update his paperwork, so I hand it to him and begin explaining it bc people never read it, they always just ask me what it’s about so I’m used to offering it and explaining it right away and this dumb fucking cunt goes, “You don’t have to explain to me what it is. Just tell me what to do.” in the meanest fucking tone I’ve ever heard I genuinely felt like crawling under the desk and dying

like bitch that’s why you’re bald. it’s karma for being a fucking douche.

then someone comes in right before we close for lunch so we had to take them :) and as a result, I didn’t get to have a break today at all <3 we worked right through our break bc the bitch that came in apparently doesn’t know how to read the gd hours PRINTED ON THE FUCKING DOOR AND ONLINE.

so. I hadn’t eaten since last night bc I didn’t have breakfast this morning bc I was like oh I’ll just get something while on break!!! sike!!! now I’m halfway through my shift and I feel like passing out!!!!!

I get off 20 minutes later than I should bc surprise!! another dumb bitch decides to come in before we close!! I get home almost at 8pm, tired hungry and fucking furious. my parents and sister went out to eat and my parents got me something for me to have for dinner, thank god. all is saved, right?? wrong, because my piece of shit sister literally grabs my fucking food that I’ve been dreaming abt all day, opens it, goes “Here’s your food.” AND THEN PROCEEDS TO EAT IT IN FRONT OF MY FACE??

and when I tell her to stop, she goes, “You’re so selfish. It’s not my fault you decided not to eat all day.” BITCH YOU ALREADY ATE?? I HAVENT EVEN DRANK WATER ALL DAY BC OF THIS STUPID JOB AND YOURE TRYING TO BLAME ME FOR NOT BEING ABLE TO EAT WHEN I HAD TO WORK THROUGH MY BREAK?? AND YOURE CALLING ME SELFISH FOR TELLING YOU TO STOP EATING THE FOOD THAT WAS MEANT FOR ME?
