Hi 🥰 (uphorie speaking) i just saw softlystarstruck rec the love of the chase, and I wanted to say that it's one of the fics that stuck with me after all this time

Like ... I was far from thinking about fanfic/fandom until I opened Tumblr, but as soon as I saw your fic linked, I immediately thought of Draco being so damn turned on and asking the bus driver to stop for no one.

ALRIGHT. PAUSE. YOU WROTE CHECK THIS HAND ? (And that's why I'm a farce of a reccer 😬)

I promise I had a point. It was that, now that I know who wrote it's the love of the chase, I'd tell you how much I love it, and how the talent and creativity you put in your fics (I only mentioned two, but I for sure read at least one more) managed to make themselves a cosy place in my brain. It's truly a gift that keeps on giving, because at any time I can get on ao3, find one or the other, and have the same feelings I felt the first time I read either.

1. The classic one, I was born with an extra thumb that got removed right before I started school! My thumb was connected to my other one on my left hand,  these days it looks a bit crooked and has a long scar on the side of it but it works alright.

2. My hair has gotten super long, I bleached and dyed it for the first time this year and It reaches my butt now!

3. During lock down I have read 55 books! which is most of my bookshelf at the moment, Being stuck at home while furloughed was a real struggle for me I almost died of boredom and isolation reading was a really good way for me to escape that world! Back at work now though so there will be less of that now but it felt so good to read things I hadn't picked up in years!
