I look like I might say “I will churn thy butter.🧈” 😂🤪 On another note, I got some cleaning done: some but then that damn feeling of depression dread over took my everything. It isn’t easy, and no distractions do not help. It isn’t as if a particular thing or person is making me depressed. The best thing you can do is not try to create chaos for the one going through this. Especially if you are another adult! It👏isn’t👏funny👏for👏them. Period. Dot. In fact it is infuriating. So be kind. Let them tell you what they need, and if they don’t know. Offer to help with the dishes or a load of laundry if you can. Hey crew. I've been hearing some scuttlebutt around the deck that people are starting to worry again about whether or not s3 is going to happen. The love notes section is already pretty long so I'm not gonna go too crazy up here too -- instead I'm going to just point out that David Jenkins, while not active and posting things for us right now, is sneakily poking around in Samba and Rhys' BTS comments. He's still there, he's still watching, and I think he can tell we're all feeling the high from Samba's releases. Don't give up hope, these things take time. They're gonna get there. I'm gonna add the trends to this section today because I think it's important to see what we did today:

Hey Lovelies. I know I've said it before, but it bares repeating since I know a lot of you are struggling right now.

Just a gentle reminder that if your brain is telling you that there's something wrong with you, or that you've done something wrong or embarrassing -- it's lying to you.

There's been so much dopamine from all the excitement lately with the BTS, that it has to come down at some point, and when it does, your brain will sometimes over-compensate and you start feeling maybe worse than you did before.

This is totally normal, it really is. Our brains are glorious complex pathways of unmeasurable brilliance, and yet a simple hormone change can make that same brain tell us that we're not enough, or we're not worthy.

I am here to remind you, you are so very much enough.

No matter what is happening in your life-- in your job, in your personal relationships, in your family, in your school, anywhere--

YOU ARE ENOUGH, EXACTLY HOW YOU ARE.

If you feel like you've failed, or you've let someone down, just know you are STILL enough. We all fail, it's how we learn.

We pick ourselves back up and we try again, and if we fail again--

We're STILL enough, and we are still worthy of love and comfort.

Eventually you will succeed. You will get there, and all the while while you work on it, YOU. ARE. ENOUGH.

I know it's so hard to see when you're feeling small, but I see you all every day, and I am awe-struck at your constant ability to band together and not only find love and support, but give it so freely and lovingly.

I know we all look like we're having a good time, but a lot of us are struggling silently, and yet we're finding ways to reach out to one another and spread love to help us all get through. Love isn't always positivity, it can be commiseration, or frustration on behalf of someone. You all are finding the best ways to help your crew, and I'm so very proud of you.

You all are capable, creative, gifted, beautious piles of stardust smooshed together into one wonderfully unique package, and you are so very loved.

Weighing (Uncooperative) Baby Squirrels 101 (including if it takes so long scale loses tare)

In wildlife rehab babies are fed by weight so you need to weigh each baby daily while it is still taking formula in care (in order to ensure that you are increasing the baby's formula intake appropriately as it grows)

Each baby should be weighed- in grams -when you are seeking to calculate the appropriate amount to be that particular baby's 5-7% portion (per feeding of that day)

Weight should also be in grams for any baby that you need medical dosing for (like the baby in the video) as dosing is done by calculating the amount of milligrams of medicine per kilogram of weight for each medication that baby needs

Over the past few days, in accordance with statewide mandates calling for bars, restaurants, breweries, bottle shops, and the like to terminate all on-premises sales (or restrict alcohol sales altogether), a great number of my friends in the food and beverage industry are out of jobs. With event cancellations, travel restrictions, and industry-wide limitations stretching well into the coming months, my own projects have come to an unprecedented halt, and for the first time yesterday --- in reading the pleas for help from those laid off, the business owners both temporarily- and permanently- closing their doors, those forced to liquidate inventories, and those now struggling to provide for their employees, their families, and themselves --- I cried. I asked myself, how can I help? How can I best continue to advocate for the vast number of breweries, bars, restaurants, and shops I've come to insistently support, while myself being largely restricted to my own residence? And moreover, what can we ALL do? #howtohelp ...🧾 Having contemplated this for the past few days, I cannot TODAY, encourage this enough: PLEASE continue to support #craftbeer --- and the entire food and beverage industry --- for as long as you possibly can. Continue to purchase to-go food and packaged beer from breweries. Purchase merchandise when available, purchase gift cards (-for future use), and tip graciously. Rather, tip ENORMOUSLY. I apologize lovelies, I think the last few days are finally catching up to me so I'm going make this short tonight. HOWEVER, I WILL SAY -- I saw so much Safe Space Ship today and it warmed my heart so much. So many of you are reaching out to crew-mates and giving encouragement and I'm so very proud of you <3. Seriously, I don't know of a better fandom out there (and I've been in a quite a few in my day) where there has been so much acceptance and support. I know we're all struggling a bit with disagreements/concerns over renewal efforts, but you all are still just out there giving love left and right. PSA: Convalescence

Pity me explanation: I tore my hamstring tendon completely, and had surgery Tuesday to reattach it. Six weeks non-weight bearing with a brace and a walker. So, basically, I'm homebound and disabled. I can walker-limp myself to the bathroom and back to the reclining chair. Boo hoo. It is a sad story and I have never been dependent on others in my entire long life!

So, what have I learned from the amazing people who have come to my rescue?

Don't say, "Call me if you need anything." If the other person is chair-bound, she literally needs things all day every day. Like: getting tea, folding laundry, putting sheets on bed, moving meds from one room to another, letting dog out, letting dog in, washing dishes, putting dishes away, microwaving food, carrying food to the recliner, picking up dishes, sweeping up dust. All day, every day.

Try this instead: "What day would be best for me to come help you? How about Tuesday afternoons?" And then, just show up and do whatever needs doing.

Because it's a lot of bleeping stuff, all the time.

It's hard to fathom how much of daily living is simply moving something from here to there, until you can't move stuff.
