You never felt so bored in your life. Usually you’d have something entertaining you, wether that would be your phone, watching kdramas alone or simply having someone next to you to chat with.

Now you don’t have any of those. Your body feels so active and in need to burn energy. Your brain was running a whole ted talk to yourself because you really had no one to speak with currently.

Thing is you could have someone to speak with, if he wasn’t so damn busy playing overwatch.

Your boyfriend Haechan is a gamer, there was no denying that his hobby was games. His love for games was pulsing high and the passion to win drove him crazy. he was naturally competitive, so playing such high risk games was perfect for him and his mischievous sly demure. He heard you whine, calling him for about the hundredth time in over an hour.

But he would rather focus on the intense battle happening right on the front screen, as if it was brainwashing him to never look away despite the fact that you were a literal magnet to pull him away from anything and fully turn his attention to you.

“Hyuck please I’m so bored, at least let me join your game so I can play with you.”

You slur hanging your head over your shared bed’s edge, rolling from the left to the right in driving motion. haechan pulls down his headphone sets, swirling his head to look at you laying on your stomach with your head lifting to stare back.

“You can’t join the game, y/n.” He puts back on the headphone sets with the game noises running through very muffle, the boy simply goes back to playing. You groan loudly.

“Why can’t i play with you?” You would ask again, standing up. You slowly approach your boyfriend’s chair from behind and wrap arms round him where your head is lurking behind his soft locks. Your nostrils start to flare, inhaling his scent, shampoo he uses on his beautiful dyed hair.

it was probably one of your favourite scents that you wish you could smell forever. You’d wish this was the smell of the oxygen you breathe in. He was your oxygen intake.

“Don’t you remember what happened the last time i let you play on my team?” he softly trails warningly as his eyes never left the pc screen. you murmur softly into his neck. “No…”

little did you know you were very much aware of what you did. But in your defence, it wasn’t your fault! He lightly scoffs.

“You killed me thinking I was the enemy y/n…with a grenade.”

You shiver in embarrassment as you whine again, replaying flashbacks of the moment that happened not too long ago. You joined the boys in another game and your boyfriend promised to teach you how to use ever weapon and defend yourself, but when he was teaching you, you happened to be distracted with a green icon that was the grenade leading hyuck to his death doom.

And ever since then he vows to never let you play with games that at least involve fighting and grenades. He was caught by surprise too and he was obviously a bit upset, in the end you did make him lose the important HP levels he was close to levelling up a grade of his avatar.

Moreover, the dreamies teased haechan because of his reaction. it was quite funny, hearing him go suddenly really silent and blinking in the camera. Watching all the stages of grief.

“But- i, okay personally that was my first time playing that game.”

“That hurt my feelings though. So no, you cannot play with me. Plus I already have my teammates baby.” Hyuck shot. He felt you move away from his body as you crawl and sit on his lap where he sat on the comfortable gaming chair with red and black colour scheme, perfectly matching with his hair. He didn’t react much, but you felt a slight stiff air in his chest when he felt you curl on his lap and rest your beautiful endearing face on his chest.

You were like a prying predator watching him like he was your dinner. In all honesty you don’t need much attention, as long as he’s close to you. Haechan doesn’t need to be speaking to you, touching you, he wouldn’t even need to be a massive attentive seeker for you. You felt entertained and much better on his lap sitting there doing nothing but just…

Watching him. As if he was the most interesting, fascinating and extraordinary thing you ever laid your eyes.

He flashes you a gentle smile finally acknowledging your presence as he may have realised he was a bit harsh earlier, though that was because you distracted him. But he can’t blame you for his little mean words. Your boyfriend wraps arms around you, embracing you as he kisses your forehead.

“Hmm I’m sorry. Jeno and Jaemin took your place in the game already. But how about you sit and look pretty for me instead?”

“I reckon this is so much better than being on my team.”

your ears perk at the rasp deep voice. Usually this was the voice only he would use around you, his natural speaking voice where he doesn’t need to put up a front image for other people. Sometimes the other dreamies would hear it, but mostly, it was just you.

You hum against the sweet lingering forehead kiss, whispering. “Shouldn’t i at least support you in some way that you win the game?”

In many ways you still want to partake in his hobby to maybe even bond with him a little more. Your boyfriend lightly smirks watching down at you, he leans closer hovering over your lips as his thumb brushed past the chin lifting you to face him. You were so helplessly under his sly fox charm.

He feels your lips seal tight, eyeing him up and down until they lay on his heartshape lips. You knew he was having an idea strike him faster than lightning ever could, in his eyes there was a dangerous spark of fire burning in it, watching you as he was going to reveal his perfect definition of what you could do to help.

“Maybe…support me underneath and i might win.”

He leans closer bringing a loving kiss, feeling the way your smile forms in the kiss. He breaks apart quick, when his two friends speaking through the headphone sets; jeno and jaemin, unmute to bring haechan back to start the next round game.

But before he unmutes himself to get back on the gaming grind. He needs a little boost from you. If you know what I mean…

[Return of Ultraman is the third Ultraman series, the fourth in the Ultra series altogether, and the first that establishes any sort of continuity between one-off cameos. If the original Ultraman is the toku version of Green Lantern (space cop gives power to human fighter pilot), Ultraman Jack is the toku Spider-man before the actual toku Spider-Man. Hideki Go is thrilled to get powers and rapidly goes too far with them, and has to learn that with great power comes great responsibility. Plus, the series has as much of a focus on his home life as it does on his monster-fighting antics, and Ultraman Jack often loses fights and has to regroup and rethink his approach before winning.

Arstron here (referred to as Earthtron in English before Tsubaraya made official Romanizations for their many many kaiju) was the first kaijur that Ultraman Jack fought, and it's one of his most iconic opponents. Arstron has reappeared in multiple Ultra Series, has a lot of toys, and even appears in the opening credits of the next series, Ultraman Ace. Not bad for most transparent Godzilla knockoff of the franchise not actually made from an old Godzilla costume.]

Arstron CR 21 CN Magical Beast This creature resembles an oversized, slightly humanoid dinosaur, its arms short and legs massive. Rows of low plates grow along its spine, and it has a huge crescent horn growing from its forehead.

An arstron is an enormous burrowing predator that superficially resembles a theropod dinosaur. They spend most of their lives underground, hunting other large subterranean creatures like purple worms and supplementing their diet with organic minerals like coal and oil. Arstrons are territorial and belligerent, and the movement of dragons, kaiju or other enormous and powerful monsters through their territories may provoke them to go on violent rampages. Arstrons enjoy combat, and their rare interactions with other members of their species are typically sparring matches.

Arstrons care little for stealth, and they are pursuit hunters rather than ambush predators. Their burrowing is often felt in the form of small tremors before the monsters emerge to the surface. Arstrons prefer to use their breath weapons and spit fireballs in order to hunt—animals, monsters and humanoids killed by the flames are eaten carbonized, and arstrons typically char their food before consuming it. They use their teeth, claws, tails and scything horn primarily when fighting an enemy that is fire resistant and/or large enough to fight back. An arstron can launch itself into a frenzy similar to a barbarian’s rage, and if anything survives that onslaught, the arstron is likely to burrow back below ground and try to flee.

hi !! i was wondering if you guys could do a tutorial on how to counter book seven’s latest update? i’m having troubles in this little hexagon part (?) where you travel with general lilia and encounter parts of fighting using your chosen five characters’ cards. what happens when all my well built cards run out of hp? i could barely fight them off 😭 thank you all in advance!

For the first Battle Map you encounter, you can select three of your cards, but the other two must be Silver and Sebek. You'll also be given General Lilia at Level 70, Magic at Level 10/10 as a support card to choose if you'd like, even if you don't select him as one of your character choices. The second Battle Map is similar, with ten total characters, of which Silver and Sebek must be two, and General Lilia is an available support character.

The general rules of the Battle Map are as follows:

Clear the Battle Map by moving along the spaces on the map.

To proceed to the next space, Misthium is required. One space uses one Misthium. Misthium recovers over time.

Some spaces give map effects to your side of the field. These will carry on for the rest of the Battle Map.

On the Battle Map, the HP of your cards will carry on to the next Battle. All received damage is evenly distributed among your cards used. If you are defeated, all cards' HP will fall to 0.

Cards can Recover on certain spaces, or with retry tickets, or gems. Cards that have 0 HP cannot be used in battles.

Retry Tickets, which can be bought in Sam's shop, will restore the HP of up to 5 cards that have been depleted.

Every space with a Crest will be a battle. A crest of the Silver Owls means will turn into a Draconia crest once the battle has been won.

The following crests are found on the map:

Map Effects: Some will say (BOSS) which means that it will take effect during the final boss fight. Otherwise, the map effects will help you in your battles.

Reward: These can be picked up on tiles with the treasure chest icon. However, you won't receive the reward until the battle map is completely cleared.

Story: Some spaces will continue the actual storyline of the Chapter, while others will have small side snippets.

There are Recovery spaces (half-filled heart icon) and Revive spaces (heart with plus icon). Recovery will heal 50% HP to five randomly chosen still available damaged cards, while Revival will give 50% HP to three randomly chosen knocked out cards.

Tips for crafting your team for the Battle Map:

Select characters that have good synergy together. Either by knocking out the enemy faster with DUOs, or by healing mid-match, or by increasing your base HP with the buddy bonus.

Aim to maneuver your way around the map and gather the map effects before too many battle encounters. Use the recovery spaces only when you absolutely need to recover your strongest cards.

Mix up your teams to have both your strongest cards and your mid-tier cards to let the mid-tier cards take the impact of the damage battle after to battle, but make sure to give yourself enough HP to succeed in the battles.

HP Rec Fest, Day 7

New day, new recs for @hprecfest! This one was a bit challenging for me; I admit I prefer to indulge EWE over canon-compliant (nothing against them, I just don’t care for Hinny and Drastoria 🫠) and it took me a second to think of anything beyond the iconic Turn. The rare pair rec was equally hard as so many of my top cross-gen pairs (hello Sirry 🤡) don’t follow the epilogue either. As you can see from the slightly longer blurbs I feel very strongly about the fics I chose - coincidence or not they’re both hidden gems by two popular authors - and I love that I got the perfect excuse to rec them!

Draco finds his way after the war.

this is an oldie and I’ve always wondered why it is underrated on AO3, what with Femme being such a popular author. I can only guess it’s due to the Snaco tag but this side ship (emphasis on past too, Snape is very much dead here) is what makes this fic so unique imo. Draco’s love and pain are quintessential to his arc and to his future encounter with Harry, and I found his grieving journey truly beautiful and moving. for years now this fic has been one of my favourite comfort reads to revisit on a sad rainy day and I hope more readers will find solace too ❤️‍🩹

The lack of female friendship scenes in Harry Potter (and what I personally would suggest) - an investigation

One thing that I wished was different in the Harry Potter series is all of the girl to girl relationships! We need more scenes! We need to dive deeper into these relationships!

Exhibit A: Cho and Ginny's "rivalry"

They're both iconic and amazing in their own right, and I feel like they could have had such a great friendship!

Not only did they both absolutely kick ass in quidditch, they both risked their lives to join the Hogwarts war efforts! Cho was already graduated by the 7th book, but she chose to come back and help out! Ginny literally was one of the main leaders of Dumbledore's army!

The only reason why JK Rowling would make them rivals is because of Harry and how he liked Cho, but Ginny liked Harry? LIKE- GIRL- not the girls hating girls because of some GUY... seriously??

We need those scenes where they pat each other on the back after a quidditch match to congratulate each other on a good game. Female empowerment moment, yes? Maybe they show each other tips and tricks on their brooms.

There should be a scene where Cho teams up with Ginny during battle! Where they fight death eaters together!

Exhibit B: Hermione and Ginny's friendship

The only thing that bothers me about this one was that Hermione became friends with Ginny because they were forced to share a room as there was not more space in the Weasley Burrow. It was convenient. While I don't love that, it's ok, it makes sense logically.

There should be scenes where the two girls relate to each other, more scenes where they giggle about boys and talk about the latest books they've read. Maybe they can both complain about Ron and Harry to each other. They practically lived together for a while, so maybe we could get more scenes of them being more sisterly and having a sibling-esque relationship.

Exhibit C: Luna and Ginny's friendship

Correct me if I'm wrong but these two became friends shortly after Ginny was saved by Harry in the Chamber of Secrets. I feel like at that point, everyone kind of shunned/was scared of Ginny, and Luna was the only one who would talk to her. This is fine and all, but there's no in between fluff about how they built up their friendship from there.

We need more scenes where Ginny defends Luna from bullies, or when Ginny ditches her boytoy to comfort Luna. Maybe there's a scene where Luna misses her mom, and Ginny is there to talk it out with her! There is so much potential in this friendship! When Luna gets kidnapped, how does Ginny react?

Regardless, I know that there are other female friendships in HP (like the slytherin ones), but these three are probably the most relevant when it comes to the actual story.

Don't even get me started on how Molly, Hermione, and Ginny all hated on Fleur, or when Molly assumed Rita Skeeter's articles about Hermione being a player were true! Like- did none of the girls really have each other's backs?

I've mentioned wanting to add this Pokemon to Rachel's team for a while, but I had to wait until Scarlet and Violet became compatible with Pokemon Home, since that's where I get the Pokemon images I use for this project.

Anyone who's played as or against Rachel can see why I chose the Electric Frog Pokemon for Rachel. Its based on and named after her most well known stage hazard!

Its Ability, Static, has a chance to paralyze any Pokemon that makes contact with it. Which is pretty much George's roll in the games- shock anyone who touches him!

Discharge and Thunder Wave were both chosen to depict George the XIII's characteristic zapping, alongside Rachel's whole electrifying kit.

Discharge is a damaging move with a small change to paralyze its victims- and I do mean victims plural, as Discharge damages everyone on the field other than the user, friend OR foe. I felt that this suited Rachel's... willingness to place her servants in harms way during a fight.

Thunder Wave is does no damage, but it's much more likely to stun the opponent if it hits. Similarly to how it appears on Gii, I wanted Rachel to have some reliable stunning options, as in BlazBlue proper, being hit with her electricity at all means losing your momentum.

Substitute is a move that sacrifices some of the user's HP to create a doppleganger that will protect it from damage and debuffs until it's killed, a nod to George's application as a distraction, keeping the opponent focused on dealing with him rather than attack Rachel.

Sucker Punch allows George to punish those who do try to mess with him- it's a counter that activates if the target is about to attack, hitting first and doing solid damage. I can't be the only person who's tried to 'deal with' a George mid-match and ended up regretting it.

for your mobile theme, the title font you picked is nice because it matches the torn paper aesthetic of the byleth header. overall an EXTREMELY aesthetic theme. unfortunately can't give it a perfect 10/10, because your icon (as cute as she is) doesn't match the rest of it... still... I am soooooo in love with this. I've noticed a lot of tumblr themes (especially nowadays) lean hard into the negative space... when I'm customizing my own blogs, I find it hard to make such themes work, but you've done a FANTASTIC job. the brown is an IMMACULATE choice for a third color. that, coupled with the images on the sidebar, keep the theme from looking too minimalist.

then there's all the little features and details! the timestamps are clear; the tags are visible but un-intrusive; the music player is soooo tastefully done. and I adore your about page to pieces... for the most part! in love with the anchor taking you back to the main page, and your personality shines through w/ every text box.

but. the 0.1 point that I docked is bc your about page is in need of an update. your byf's still a placeholder (I know you had a carrd there before? but I understand why you've removed it), the shingan video is no longer available, you don't have any featured tags, and the HP Levels / EXP Stat are blank (at least on my desktop). touching these up a little, while definitely not necessary, would bring your theme up to a 10/10 in my book.
