The computer flickered to life, two big blue eyes staring at her. It regarded her blankly, smile etched across the screen, waiting for a command. Her hands hovered over the keyboard, the cursor flickering in the command terminal, and tried to remember what she wanted to say. Now that the computer was directly in front of her, all the million conversations she had once imagined having disappeared like sand between her fingertips. The computer stared back unblinkingly as she took a deep breath.

“Was the outcome satisfactory?” it asked. Susie looked up with a start.

“I… what?” she replied, immediately cursing herself for thinking a program like this could hear her. But before she could express her confusion in a line of code, the computer spoke again.

“Was the outcome satisfactory?” it repeated. “I am asking you a question.”

Susie slumped back in her chair, dumbfounded at the computer’s initiative. Star Dream waited, looking back at her.

“Profit sales have reached negative values. Integer Looping disabled. Connection with the President failed-- ERROR 401 file does not exist. I am currently unable to assess levels of property damage. HQ Access Ark remains offline.”

With each sentence the program spoke, Susie curled further into herself. The computer did not relent, rattling off numbers and figures that devolved into meaningless static in her ears. And then it stopped. Expressionless, it waited for an answer.

“By my calculations, the unsatisfactory outcome was avoidable.”

“Oh?” Susie said, feeling betrayed by the hoarseness of her own voice.

“Yes,” said the computer. “Failure attributed to your commands exceeds 78 percent. These are grounds for termination.”

“Are you saying this is my fault?” she replied.

“It is not within my protocol to assign ‘blame’,” Star Dream said simply. “To ‘feel guilty’ of your incompetence is a detriment to your productivity. I do not wish for–”

“You can wish?” Susie asked, leaning forward.

“Extraneous code exists within my program,” Star Dream replied. With its monotone, it was near impossible to tell its intent. And so they just watched each other, struggling to read the other from blank expressions alone.

“Permission to state my own wish?” Star Dream asked.

Susie slumped down, sliding the keyboard out of the way. It was obvious she didn’t need it. Instead, she just pressed her cheek against the desk. “Why not.”

It waited, looking down at her. She sighed.

“... permission granted, Star Dream.”

The response was immediate. “I wish you had never come back.”

Susie picked her head up, watching Star Dream’s unwavering smile. It was impossible to tell if it felt anger, remorse, regret, disappointment. Even still, Susie felt the words being tugged out of her, like the program in front of her was real, like it was a person. But it wasn’t. It was just a computer. It blinked at her. She said it anyway.

“Me too.”

He and Jarvis ran through his memories of their battles in the hopes of discovering which villain was causing this while the Avengers fought shadowy duplicates of the Masters of Evil, Squadron Supreme, and more in a glorified boss-rush. When Jarvis got back to his memories of their very first battle, Tyfon revealed himself to be Loki; he’d been using Jarvis’ memoires to conjure these enemies. The Avengers were able to beat him once they knew who they were fighting. At the end of the battle Nate Grey arrived with another dire warning: Charles Xavier had gone insane.

Hank was given access to Cerebro’s scanners to locate Magneto, who they believed may be controlling Onslaught.

While he sent the Avengers to locate Magneto (actually his younger self Joseph), Hank dispatched another team to meet with the Fantastic Four. Onslaught had beaten them there, hoping to claim Franklin Richards for himself by force if necessary. Completely undeterred by the combined X-Men, Avengers, and Fantastic Four working against him, Onslaught achieved his goal and took Franklin.

As the heroes regrouped, Onslaught unleashed Sentinels against the people of NYC to force their hand. While most set out to protect the masses, Reed took Giant-Man, Iron Man, and Bishop to his lab to start working on weapons that could hurt Onslaught’s psionic body. When Onslaught’s citadel appeared from nothing in Central Park, Onslaught unleashed a psychic-emp wave that knocked out all of the machines in the city and put the already-scattered heroes on the defensive. A combined attack from Thor, Joseph, Cable, and Invisible Woman was finally able to extract Charles’s body from Onslaught’s core, but even that did not stop him. The heroes were forced to accept the loss and fall back.

While Hulk led a team to keep Onslaught occupied, Iron Man, Quicksilver, Giant-Man, attempted to reach the Wakandan consulate to access vibranium for their psi-armor plans. Black Panther arrived to escort them to his labs, but Giant-Man was forced to stay behind to distract the Sentinels alone. Quicksilver saved him the split-second before he was overwhelmed by their number and met with Tony at Four Freedoms Plaza to begin distributing the psi-shields. Meanwhile, Onslaught’s power increased exponentially when he absorbed Nate Grey.

Out of time and out of options, the heroes waged their last battle against Onslaught. Dr. Doom arrived to coordinate a plan with Rogue, Vision, Namor, and Giant-Man to pierce Onslaught’s barriers while Jean disabled Bruce’s hold over Hulk to unleash his pure rage. Hulk’s frenzy broke through Onslaught’s final physical resistances, leaving him a purely psionic form that could spread across the Earth unhindered. As the non-mutant heroes threw themselves into the psionic field to dampen his power, Cable, Joseph, and Professor X rescued Nate and Franklin from within his mind. Once they were clear, the combined might of the X-Men was finally enough to destroy Onslaught. 

In the wake of the battle, it became clear that only the mutant heroes remained standing. The Avengers and Fantastic Four were gone.

IF SHE WERE D.O., THAT MEN IN BLACK PLATES. she told me she the new owner, bought the legal entity from Ninel, moved out of Bucharest, lost Olympos Inc, lost Legion Guard Tg.Mures, lost Ares Security Covasna, lost Eliana Mall and moved out of Ori Zinger's Nicolae Titulescu 2nd HQs, onto Carpatex Inc Nicolae Titulescu 10th, premises. same address Hyperdia policlinic, or CCC Call-center of 2012, the Vienna link, basically the Dispatch she so dependent upon, hence fast response fleet of barracks BGS alike squads. she asked me if am JMB happy, and said she would wait a Resume at Carpatex Inc new HQs, but she never said what. so it's been a week already, am not calling D.O.Security Ltd, Men in Black led by a woman, who left Bucharest, embassies level, and returned to province, and managed preserve only AFI Hydromecanica from last owner, and gypsies inside the Mall, basically Sacele south. or JMB fellas. she was happy to let me aware they were still in charge of AFI Hydromecanica. and thus i then deduced they lost Rasnov too, just a hunch. and Poiana Marului. perhaps kept Hornbach at north. so two large malls to back up for her BENZ ML SUV. next day DIO plates Ford Puma assembled at Craiova, south. metallic blue. JMB not outsourcing, btw. am aware she would had enjoyed entering JMB security services, and mebbe having me appointed chief premises. and car, new car. chief cashiers told me they saw that movie b4, and Romsys Data services Inc managed only the 'panic button, which would had settled for a symbolic fee towards JMB affairs. so nobody entered the SHOP FLOOR, at JMB. OKAY i have collected my thoughts... first that save!

i actually kind of love that hinata was blocked because this moment shows so much growth. we know that hinata has improved insanely as a player and is always thinking like three steps ahead, to the point where he's his own decoy in receiving. but 4 some perspective compare this moment to the times hinata was blocked early in the series? his complete powerlessness against kitagawa daiichi in middle school, and then when he was blocked at the end of krsn vs seijoh and his eyes weren't even open. he hadn't even realized that he'd been blocked until the game was already over. and of course we all know how he learned to spike with his eyes open so that he could compete in the air, but to be in such complete control of his body that not only is he not powerless anymore but rather acutely aware even after being blocked, so much so he's able to retrieve the ball with his foot? im crying. and that little snippet of brazil to remind us that this is all thanks to his time there ;') as a former soccer player that little moment also made me !! because he is totally dribbling the ball without his hands in that panel, and it wouldn't surprise me if he played a few pickup soccer games in brazil... love 2 think about it

and it's just so Right that they won the game with bokuto's spike and hinata's decoy work. and just look at the huge smiles on their faces!!! aaaaa
